1Optimization of microstructures and magnetic properties of Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.227)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.023))_(7.6) magnets by sintering treatment显示文摘Magnetic properties and microstructures of Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.227)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.023_)_(7.6) sintered magnets were optimized by sintering treatment. Results show that the knee-point magnetic field, Hknee, is twofold up and the intrinsic coercivity Hcjincreases by 40%, ranging from 21.64 to 30.39 kOe at the cost of a little decrease of Brfrom 10.84 to 10.31 kGs with sintering temperature decreasing from 1488 to 1473 K. And the average domain width is narrower and more uniform for the specimen sintered at 1473 K than that of the specimen sintered at 1488 K. It is impressive that the density of lamellar phase increases from ~0.050 to ~0.058 nm^(-1) with the sintering temperature decreasing from 1488 to 1473 K. Moreover, the average cellular size is about ~84 nm for the magnets sintered at 1473 K, which is 80% of that of the magnets sintered at 1488 K(~97 nm). And the cell boundary width of the magnets sintered at 1473 K(~7 nm) is only half average width of the magnets sintered at 1488 K(~14 nm). It is found that the Cu content in the cell boundaries is much higher(~17 at%) in the magnets sintered at 1473 K compared to that of the magnets sintered at 1488 K(~10 at%). 2Solvent-and metal-directed lanthanide-organic frameworks based on pamoic acid:observation of slow magnetization relaxation,magnetocaloric effect and luminescent sensing显示文摘Two types of lanthanide coordination polymers, namely, [Ln(PA)(NO_3)(DMA)_3]_n(Ln=Gd(1), Dy(2), Eu(3), Tb(4))(type I), and {[Ln_2(PA)_3(DMF)_4]·2DMF}(Ln=Eu(5), Tb(6))(type II)(PA=Pamoic acid, DMA=dimethylacetamide,DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide), have been synthesized by the reaction of Ln(NO_3)_3·6H_2O with pamoic acid through layer diffusion method. These complexes were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy(IR),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), fluorescence and magnetic measurements. Solvents and lanthanide atoms in the reaction play an important role in controlling different structures. Type I demonstrated 1-D linear chain structure connected by Ln atoms and PA ligands. Type II exhibited non-interpenetrating 3-D 6-connected 4_36^(12) nets based on binuclear [Ln_2(CO_2)_6(DMF)_4] cores.Magnetic properties of complexes 1–4 were investigated in details. Complex 1 shows significant magnetocaloric effect with–ΔS_m=20.37 J kg^(–1) K^(–1) at 3.0 K and 7 T. Complex 2 exhibits slow relaxation of the magnetization. Complexes 3–6 exhibit both ligand- and metal-centered fluorescent properties. 4Effects of catalyst mass loading on electrocatalytic activity:An example of oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘The evaluation of the intrinsic activity of catalysts is the most basic in searching energy-and cost-efficient catalyst materials for various applications.The accurate determination of the intrinsic activity is essential for identifying efficient catalysts.While a huge number of studies of electrocatalysis for various applications have been reported,the effects of electrode loading on the apparent intrinsic activity obtained experimentally have been rarely discussed.With a high mass loading on the electrode,not all the catalyst surfaces can be electrochemically active because not all the surfaces can be wetted by the electrolyte.The loading also affects the transport of electrons over the electrode as well as the transport of ions in the electrolyte,and thus affects the kinetics.These lead to the derivations of the apparent intrinsic activity from the real intrinsic activity.Herein,for better understanding the derivations,we evaluate and discuss the effects of electrode mass loading using oxygen evolution reaction as an example.Linghui Yu Shengnan Suna Haiyan Li Zhichuan JXu 2021Fundamental Research2021,1,4:2

6Comparison between two commercial immunoassays:Dr.Fooke ALLERG-O-LIQ versus Phadia ImmunoCAP~ System in detecting allergen-specific IgE and total IgE values显示文摘Objective:Beside patient's history and skin prick testing(SPT)the detection of specific IgE(sIgE)represents an important tool of allergy diagnostics.In recent years different technologies for the detection of sIgE have been developed.The objective of this study is the comparison of the ALLERG-O-LIQ with the ImmunoCAP System using seven inhalant and four food allergens.Methods:Sera from patients were collected and tested for sIgE to inhalant(d1,d2,d5,i6,e1,e5 and m3)and food allergens(f1,f2,f24,f24)by ALLERG-O-LIQ(Dr.Fooke Laboratorien GmbH)and by ImmunoCAP System(Phadia).Further,samples were also tested for total IgE in both systems.Results:Prevalence of positive test results varied between 0/20(f24)and 11/20(e5)for ALLERG-O-LIQ and between 3/18(f23)and 11/20(d1/d5)for ImmunoCAP .The qualitative agreement between both methods was found between 75%(f24)and 100%(d2)depending on the allergen.Overall qualitative agreement for inhalant(n=140),food(n=78)and all allergens(n=218)tested was 92.1%(kappa=0.84),83.3%(kappa=0.58),89.0%(kappa=0.77),respectively.Sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value (PPV),negative predictive value(NPV)and diagnostic efficiency(DE)were found at 88.2%,95.8%,95.2%,89.6%,92.1%(inhalant allergens),62.5%,92.6%,78.9%,84.7%,83.3%(food allergens)and 81.5%,94.4%,91.5%,87.5%,89.0%(all allergens).Conclusion: Good to excellent qualitative agreement between ALLERG-O-LIQ and ImmunoCAP for the detection of specific and total IgE could be observed.The degree of agreement depended on the allergen and was higher in the group of inhalant allergens.The ALLERG-O-LIQ System represents a reliable test for the detection of specific and total IgE.Baoqing Suna Mahler Michael Mei Jiang Jing Li Nanshan Zhong 2008Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008,22,5:1

8Asymmetric ferromagnetic criticality in pyrochlore ferromagnet Lu2V2O7显示文摘We study the ferromagnetic criticality of the pyrochlore magnet Lu2 V2 O7 at the ferromagnetic transition TC% 70 K from the isotherms of magnetization MeHT via an iteration process and the Kouvel-Fisher method. The critical exponents associated with the transition are determined: b = 0.32(1), c = 1.41(1),and d ? 5:38. The validity of these critical exponents is further verified by scaling all the MeHT data in the vicinity of TConto two universal curves in the plot of M=jejbversus H=jejbtc, where e ? T=TCà 1.The obtained b and c values show asymmetric behaviors on the T < TCand the T > TCsides, and are consistent with the predicted values of 3 D Ising and cubic universality classes, respectively. This makes Lu2 V2 O7 a rare example in which the critical behaviors associated with a ferromagnetic transition belong to different universality classes. 122D Cd-MOF and its mixed-matrix membranes for luminescence sensing antibiotics in various aqueous systems and visible fingerprint identifying显示文摘The abuse of antibiotics has brought great harm to the human living environment and health,so it is extremely significant to develop an efficient and simple method to detect trace antibiotic residues in various wastewaters.Herein,a new two-dimensional(2D)Cd-based metal−organic framework(Cd-MOF,namely LCU-111)and its mixed matrix membranes(MMMs)is sifted as luminescence sensors for efficient monitoring antibiotic nitrofurazone(NFZ)in various aqueous systems and applied as visible fingerprint identifying.The LCU-111 has good selectivity,sensibility,reproducibility and anti-interference for luminescent quenching NFZ with low detection limits(LODs)of 0.4567,0.3649 and 0.8071 ppm in aqueous solution,HEPES biological buffer,and real urban Tuhai River water,respectively.Interestingly,the luminescent test papers and MMMs allow the NFZ sensing easier and more rapid by naked eyes,only with a low LOD of 0.8117 ppm for MMMs sensor.Notably,by combining multiple experiments with density functional theory(DFT)calculations,the photo-induced electron transfer(PET)quenching mechanism is further elucidated.More importantly,potential practical applications of LCU-111 for latent fingerprint visualization provide lifelike evidences for effective identification of individuals,which can be applied in criminal investigation.Kexin Ma Jing Li Huiyan Ma Yan Yang Hua Yang Jing Lu Yunwu Li Jianmin Dou Suna Wang Suijun Liu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,11:0

What is the role of sildenafil in repairing retinopathy of prematurity?显示文摘Background:Oxygen therapy provided to support the lungs of premature newborns often leads to damages to the retina called retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)and long-term visual impairments.Current treatments for ROP are invasive and aim at preventing further progression of the damages to the retina,but do not repair these damages.Our goal is to investigate the therapeutic effect of sildenafil on retinal structure in a rat model of ROP.Methods:Sprague-Dawley rats were exposed to hyperoxia(i.e.,80%oxygen)interrupted by three 0.5-hour periods of normoxia(i.e.,21%oxygen)(hyperoxic animals)per day or room air only(i.e.,21%oxygen)(control animals)from post-natal day 4(P4)to 14(P14).Pups were then housed in room air.Sildenafil(50 mg/kg)or vehicle was given per os twice daily after oxygen exposure(from P15 to P21).At P30,retinas were extracted,and sectioned.For retinal histology,eyes were stained with toluidine blue to measure the thicknesses of the different retinal layers.Immunohistochemistry was also performed to count the number of retinal ganglion cells and bipolar cells in the inner retina,as well as the number of astrocytes and microglia within the different retinal layers.Results:Hyperoxia caused a reduction in thickness of the outer plexiform layer(OPL)and a decrease in the number of bipolar cells in some parts of the retina,compared to control animals(P<0.05);in addition,the number of microglia cells was significantly increased in the rats exposed to hyperoxia,compared to controls(P<0.05).Sildenafil improved OPL thickness in ROP animals,but did not change the number of bipolar cells.In hyperoxic rats treated with sildenafil,the number of microglia were similar to control rats.The number of retinal ganglion cells and astrocytes did not differ significantly between the groups.Conclusions:Treatment with sildenafil following oxygen exposure provided some recovery of the structure of the retina.This beneficial effect may be modulated by a decrease of inflammation within the retina.Alexandra Bélanger Shulin Li Annie Poon Suna Jung Palig Balian Zehra Khoja Ania Polosa Pierre Lachapelle Pia Wintermark 2018Annals of Eye Science2018,,1:0
