| 2 | Preharvest long-term exposure to UV-B radiation promotes fruit ripening and modifies stage-specific anthocyanin metabolism in highbush blueberry显示文摘Ultraviolet-B(UV-B)light(280–315 nm)is an important environmental signal that regulates plant development and photomorphogenesis,while also affecting the flavonoid pathway,including anthocyanin biosynthesis.Regarding the effects of UV-B radiation on fruits,the effects of a short-term or postharvest irradiation on fruit quality have been well-documented,but the effects of a long-term preharvest UV-B irradiation on fruit growth and coloration remain unclear.Thus,in this study,we investigated the effects of a long-term treatment involving an environmentally relevant UV-B dose on highbush blueberry(Vaccinium corymbosum)fruit.The preharvest UV-B treatment quickly promoted fruit growth and sugar accumulation,which is not commonly observed in other fruit tree species.The UV-B exposure also accelerated fruit ripening and coloration.The dual-luciferase assay proved that in blueberries,expression of VcUFGT encoding anthocyanin biosynthesis key enzyme,is positively and negatively regulated by VcMYBA1 and VcMYBC2,respectively.Throughout the fruit development stage,the UV-B treatment up-regulated VcMYBPA1 expression,which increased VcUFGT expression via VcMYBA1.In the green fruit stage,the UV-B treatment increased HY5 encoding UV receptor,which up-regulates VcMYBPA1 and down-regulates VcMYBC2,thereby promotes the accumulation of anthocyanins.On the other hand,excessive anthocyanin synthesis was inhibited by increased VcMYBC2 levels in mature fruits when exposed to UV-B light through HY5-independent pathway.In conclusion,anthocyanin-related MYB activators and repressor may coordinately balance the accumulation of anthocyanins in blueberry fruits,with UV-B treatments possibly influencing their effects in a stage-specific manner.The potential utility of preharvest UV-B treatments for improving blueberry fruit quality is discussed herein. | Taishan Li Hisayo Yamane Ryutaro Tao | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 6 |

| 4 | Special characteristics of fluorescence and resonance Rayleigh scattering for cadmium telluride nanocrystal aqueous solution and its interactions with aminoglycoside antibiotics显示文摘CdTe nanocrystals(CdTe NCs) were achieved by reaction of CdCl2 with KHTe solution and were capped with sodium mercaptoacetate.The product was detected by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),fluorescence spectra,ultraviolet-visible spectra and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The CdTe NCs are of cubic structure and the average size is about 5 nm.The fluorescence quantum yield of CdTe NCs aqueous solution increased from 37% to 97% after 20 d under room light.The maximum λem of fluorescence changed from 543 nm to 510 nm and the blue shift was 33 nm.CdTe NCs aqueous solution can be steady for at least 10 months at 4℃ in a refrigerator.The resonance Rayleigh scattering(RRS) of CdTe NCs in the aqueous solution was investigated.The maximum scattering peak was located at about 554 nm.The interactions of CdTe NCs with amikacin sulfate(AS) and micronomicin sulfate(MS) were investigated respectively.The effects of AS and MS on fluorescence and RRS of CdTe NCs were analyzed.It was found that AS and MS quenched the photoluminescence of CdTe NCs and enhanced RRS of CdTe NCs.Under optimum conditions,there are linear relationships between quenching intensity(F0-F),intensity of RRS(I-I0) and concentration of AS and MS.The detection limits(3б) of AS and MS are respectively 3.4 ng·mL-1 and 2.6 ng·mL-1 by the fluorescence quenching method,and 15.2 ng·mL-1 and 14.0 ng·mL-1 by the RRS method.The methods have high sensitivity,thus CdTe NCs may be used as fluorescence probes and RRS probes for the detection of aminoglycoside antibiotics. | LI TaiShan LIU ShaoPu LIU ZhongFang HU XiaoLi ZHANG LiPing | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,1: | 2 |
| 5 | Luminescent single-molecule magnet of metallofullerene DyErScN@Ih-C80显示文摘Magneto-luminescent molecules have significant applications in data storage and quantum computing.However,design of these bi-functional molecules coupled with magnetic behavior and photoluminescence is still challenging.In this work,we report a metallofullerene DyErScN @In-C80 exhibiting single-molecule magnet (SMM) behavior and near-infrared emission.For DyErScN @Ih-C80,two functional lanthanide metal ions of Dy^3+(SMM function) and Er^3+(luminescent function) are integrated inside a fullerene cage using a trimetallic nitride template,and its structure has been unambiguously characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.Magnetic measurements revealed that DyErScN @Ih-C80 behaves as a SMM with a blocking temperature up to 9 K resulting from the intramolecular magnetic interaction between Dy^3+ and Er^3+ ions.Moreover,DyErScN @In-C80 exhibits temperature-dependent near-infrared emission around 1.5 pm with multiple splitting peaks from Er^3+,which arises from the influence of Dy^3+ ion.This study provides a new strategy to synthesize new magneto-luminescent molecule materials. | Mingzhe Nie Jin Xiong Chong Zhao Haibing Meng Kun Zhang Yibo Han Jie Li Bingwu Wang Lai Feng Chunru Wang Taishan Wang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,7: | 2 |

| 10 | Covalently bonded two spin centers of paramagnetic metallofullerene dimer显示文摘Paramagnetic endohedral metallofullerenes with well protected unpaired spin have potential applications in molecular-scale qubit processing and magnetoreception system. In this study, a paramagnetic metallofullerene Sc_(3)C_(2)@C_(80) dimer with covalently bonded two spin centers was synthesized. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) results further revealed the varied spin-nuclei couplings and paramagnetic property for Sc_(3)C_(2)@C_(80) dimer. Briefly, the Sc_(3)C_(2)@C_(80) dimer in toluene solution shows EPR hyperfine splittings originating from the spin-Sc couplings. However, the Sc_(3)C_(2)@C_(80) dimer in solid state shows the disappearance of hyperfine structure and a single EPR signal caused by its two-spin-center structure. The transformation of EPR signals can be further finely modulated by controlling the dynamic motion of Sc_(3)C_(2)@C80 dimer in chloronaphthalene. | 13 | Zirconium nitride as a highly efficient nitrogen source to synthesize the metal nitride clusterfullerenes显示文摘Metal nitride clusterfullerenes(NCFs)have significant applications in molecular electronics,biomedical imaging,and nonlinear optical devices due to their unique structures.However,their wide applications are limited by the production quantity.In this work,the yields of metal nitride clusterfullerenes M3N@C80(M=Y,Sc,Gd)were greatly enhanced by utilizing zirconium nitride(Zr N)as an efficient nitrogen source for the arc-discharge method.Compared with the traditional synthetic route using N2gas as nitrogen source,the Zr N inside graphite tube can be vaporized simultaneously with metal and graphite,and then afford the high concentration of nitrogen atoms in the arc region,which will promote the formation of metal nitride clusterfullerenes finally.The Zr N can promote the yields of Y3N@C80,Sc3N@C80and Gd3N@C80,revealing the universal applicability of Zr N as a highly efficient nitrogen source.Specifically,the yield of Sc3N@C80was greatly improved when adding Zr N,and it shows over double yield compared to traditional synthetic route using N2gas.In addition,Zr N can also enhance the yields of paramagnetic azametallofullerene M2@C79N due to the high concentration of nitrogen atoms in the arc region.This new method enhances the production quantity of metal nitride clusterfullerenes and azametallofullerenes,and it will greatly promote the research and application of these molecular carbon materials. | Yuxi Lu Jie Zhang Chong Zhao Mingzhe Nie Chunru Wang Taishan Wang | 2021 | Science China Chemistry2021,64,1: | 1 |
| 14 | The clinical research of esophagus radiographic locating method of atrial septal puncture-including the clinical analyses of 486 cases显示文摘Objective To devise the safety and validity of clinical application of esophagus radiographic locating method of transseptal puncture. Methods Four hundreds and eighty-six patients who were undergone transseptal puncture were randomized into two groups. Esophagus radiographic locating method of tansseptal puncture was applied in the study group(n=243) and modified-Ross locating method was used in the control group(n=243). After successful location, transseptal puncture was made. Then observe the success rate and complication incidences of the 2 groups. Results Left atria impression in the study group was clearly seen. 120 cases in control group could not shown clearly the left atria silhouette. The success rate of locating transseptal puncture in the study group and control group were 100% and 50.6 % respectively(P<0.001). The success rate of transeptal puncture in the study group and control group was 99.6% and 45.7% respectively (P<0.001). There were no puncture complication in study group and pericardial tamponade occurred in 1 case in control group. Conclusion The esophagus radiographic locating method of transeptal puncture is accurate, safe and simple to perform. | 19 | Kelp Fucoidans Facilitate Vascular Recanalization via Inhibiting Excessive Activation of Platelet in Deep Venous Thrombosis Model of Mouse显示文摘This study was carried out explore the mechanism underlying the inhibition of platelet activation by kelp fucoidans in deep venous thrombosis(DVT)mouse.In the control and sham mice,the walls of deep vein were regular and smooth with intact intima,myometrium and adventitia.The blood vessel was wrapped with the tissue and there was no thrombosis in the lumen.In the DVT model,the wall was uneven with thicken intima,myometrium and adventitia.After treated with fucoidans LF1 and LF2,the thrombus was dissolved and the blood vessel was recanalized.Compared with the control group,the ROS content,ET-1 and VWF content and the expression of PKC-βand NF-κB in the model were significantly higher(P<0.05);these levels were significantly reduced following treatments with LF2 and LF1.Compared with H_(2)O_(2)treated-HUVECs,combined LF1 and LF2 treatment resulted in significant decrease in the expression of PKC-β,NF-κB,VWF and TM protein(P<0.05).It is clear that LF1 and LF2 reduces DVT-induced ET-1,VWF and TM expressions and production of ROS,thus inhibiting the activation of PKC-β/NF-κB signal pathway and the activation of coagulation system and ultimately reducing the formation of venous thrombus. | SUN Taohua LIU Jie YAN Taishan CHEN Anjin ZHANG Fang | 2024 | Journal of Ocean University of China2024,23,2: | 0 |
