| 1 | High expression of ACE2 receptor of 2019-nCoV on the epithelial cells of oral mucosa显示文摘It has been reported that ACE2 is the main host cell receptor of 2019-nCoV and plays a crucial role in the entry of virus into the cell to cause the final infection. To investigate the potential route of 2019-n Cov infection on the mucosa of oral cavity, bulk RNA-seq profiles from two public databases including The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA) and Functional Annotation of The Mammalian Genome Cap Analysis of Gene Expression(FANTOM5 CAGE) dataset were collected. RNA-seq profiling data of 13 organ types with para-carcinoma normal tissues from TCGA and 14 organ types with normal tissues from FANTOM5 CAGE were analyzed in order to explore and validate the expression of ACE2 on the mucosa of oral cavity. Further, single-cell transcriptomes from an independent data generated in-house were used to identify and confirm the ACE2-expressing cell composition and proportion in oral cavity. The results demonstrated that the ACE2 expressed on the mucosa of oral cavity. Interestingly, this receptor was highly enriched in epithelial cells of tongue. | 2 | Effect of cooling rates on dendrite spacings of directionally solidified DZ125 alloy under high thermal gradient显示文摘The dendrite morphologies and spacings of directionally solidified DZ125 superalloy were investigated under high thermal gradient about 500 K/cm. The results reveal that, with increasing cooling rate, both the spacings of primary and secondary dendrite arms decrease, and the dendrite morphologies transit from coarse to superfine dendrite. The secondary dendrite arms trend to be refined and be well developed, and the tertiary dendrite will occur. The predictions of the Kurz/Fisher model and the Hunt/Lu model accord basically with the experimental data for primary dendrite arm spacing. The regression equation of the primary dendrite arm spacings λ1 and the cooling rate Vc is λ1=0.013Vc-0.32. | 4 | Relay-intercropping soybean with maize maintains soil fertility and increases nitrogen recovery efficiency by reducing nitrogen input显示文摘Optimized nitrogen(N)management can increase N-use efficiency in intercropping systems.Legume-nonlegume intercropping systems can reduce N input by exploiting biological N fixation by legumes.Measurement of N utilization can help in dissecting the mechanisms underlying N uptake and utilization in legume-nonlegume intercropping systems.An experiment was performed with three planting patterns:monoculture maize(MM),monoculture soybean(SS),and maize-soybean relay intercropping(IMS),and three N application levels:zero N(NN),reduced N(RN),and conventional N(CN)to investigate crop N uptake and utilization characteristics.N recovery efficiency and 15N recovery rate of crops were higher under RN than under CN,and those under RN were higher under intercropping than under the corresponding monocultures.Compared with MM,IMS showed a lower soil N-dependent rate(SNDR)in 2012.However,the SNDR of MM rapidly declined from 86.8%in 2012 to 49.4%in 2014,whereas that of IMS declined slowly from 75.4%in 2012 to 69.4%in 2014.The interspecific N competition rate(NCRms)was higher under RN than under CN,and increased yearly.Soybean nodule dry weight and nitrogenase activities were respectively 34.2%and 12.5%higher under intercropping than in monoculture at the beginning seed stage.The amount(Ndfa)and ratio(%Ndfa)of soybean N2 fixation were significantly greater under IS than under SS.In conclusion,N fertilizer was more efficiently used under RN than under CN;in particular,the relay intercropping system promoted N fertilizer utilization in comparison with the corresponding monocultures.An intercropping system helps to maintain soil fertility because interspecific N competition promotes biological N fixation by soybean by reducing N input.Thus,a maize-soybean relay intercropping system with reduced N application is sustainable and environmentally friendly. | Qing Du Li Zhou Ping Chen Xiaoming Liu Chun Song Feng Yang Xiaochun Wang Weiguo Liu Xin Sun Junbo Du Jiang Liu Kai Shu Wenyu Yang Taiwen Yong | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,1: | 7 |

This review discusses plant responses to far-red light from the phenotypic to the molecular level, focusing specifically on the improvement of photosynthetic capacity by adjustment of photosynthetic electron transport and the path of light energy. Far-red light can also regulate leaf angle and increase plant height and leaf area, via expression of associated genes, to capture more light energy.Thus, far-red light regulates plant morphology and photosynthetic capacity. | 10 | Stress dependence of the creep behaviors and mechanisms of a third-generation Ni-based single crystal superalloy显示文摘Elevated temperature creep behaviors at 1100℃ over a wide stress regime of 120-174 MPa of a thirdgeneration Ni-based single crystal superalloy were studied. With a reduced stress from 174 to 120 MPa, the creep life increased by a factor of 10.5, from 87 h to 907 h, presenting a strong stress dependence. A splitting phenomenon of the close-(about 100 nm) and sparse-(above 120 nm) spaced dislocation networks became more obvious with increasing stress. Simultaneously, ao<010> superdislocations with low mobil让ies were frequently observed under a lower stress to pass through γ precipitates by a combined slip and climb of two ao<110> superpartials or pure climb. However, ao<110> superdislocations with higher mobility were widely found under a higher stress, which directly sheared into y precipitates. Based on the calculated critical resolved shear stresses for various creep mechanisms, the favorable creep mechanism was systematically analyzed. | 12 | Tailoring Microstructure and Microsegregation in a Directionally Solidified Ni-Based SX Superalloy by a Weak Transverse Static Magnetic Field显示文摘A weak transverse static magnetic field(WTSMF,0–0.5 T)is applied to the directional solidification process of a DD3 Ni-based SX superalloy,aiming to tailor the microstructure and microsegregation of alloys.The mechanisms of microstructural refinement and microsegregation distribution caused by a WTSMF during directional solidification are discussed.It is shown that the primary dendrite arm spacing is rapidly reduced from 181 to 143μm,and the average size ofγ′phase is significantly refined from 0.85 to 0.25μm as the magnetic field increases from 0 to 0.5 T.At the same time,the volumefractions ofγ/γ′eutectic and the segregation coefficient are also gradually decreased.The 3D numerical simulations of the multiscale convection in liquid phase show that the modifications of the microstructure and microsegregation in DD3 are mainly attributed to the enhanced liquid flow caused by thermoelectric magnetic convection(TEMC)at dendrite/sample scale under the WTSMF.The maximum of the TEMC increases with increasing the magnetic field intensity.This work paves a simple way to optimize the microstructure and microsegregation in directionally solidified Ni-based SX superalloys without changing the processing parameters and composition. | Yong Zhao Haijun Su Guangrao Fan Chenglin Liu Taiwen Huang Wenchao Yang Jun Zhang Lin Liu Hengzhi Fu | 2022 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,7: | 1 |
