1Nitrogen addition and mowing alter drought resistance and recovery of grassland communities显示文摘Nitrogen enrichment and land use are known to influence various ecosystems,but how these anthropogenic changes influence community and ecosystem responses to disturbance remains poorly understood.Here we investigated the effects of increased nitrogen input and mowing on the resistance and recovery of temperate semiarid grassland experiencing a three-year drought.Nitrogen addition increased grassland biomass recovery but decreased structural recovery after drought,whereas annual mowing increased grassland biomass recovery and structural recovery but reduced structural resistance to drought.The treatment effects on community biomass/structural resistance and recovery were largely modulated by the stability of the dominant species and asynchronous dynamics among species,and the community biomass resistance and recovery were also greatly driven by the stability of grasses.Community biomass resistance/recovery in response to drought was positively associated with its corresponding structural stability.Our study provides important experimental evidence that both nitrogen addition and mowing could substantially change grassland stability in both functional and structural aspects.Our findings emphasize the need to study changes across levels of ecological organization for a more complete understanding of ecosystem responses to disturbances under widespread environmental changes.Zhuwen Xu Heyong Liu Yani Meng Jinfei Yin Haiyan Ren Mai-He Li Shan Yang Shiming Tang Yong Jiang Lin Jiang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,7:2
2Synthesis of Cs_(2.5)H_(0.5)PW_(12)O_(40)/TiO_(2) Nanocomposites with Dominant TiO_(2){001}Facets and Related Photocatalytic Properties显示文摘TiO_(2) nanosheets with dominant{001}facets,coupled with Cs_(2.5)H_(0.5)PW_(12)O_(40),were successfully synthesized by a one-step hydrothermal reaction.The photocatalytic activity of nanocatalysts was evaluated by the degradation of Rhodamine B under UV light irradiation.The results showed that both the addition of Cs_(2.5)H_(0.5)PW_(12)O_(40) and the exposed{001}facets of TiO_(2) have a positive effect on the photocatalytic activity.The improved photoactivity of nanocomposites in comparison with that of TiO_(2) nanosheets could be attributed to the synergistic effect between Cs_(2.5)H_(0.5)PW_(12)O_(40) and TiO_(2) which facilitates the separation of photo-induced hole-electron pairs.Yichen Hu Yuanhang Ren Gangfeng Tang Cheng Wang Min Tang Bin Yue Heyong He 2014Chinese Journal of Chemistry2014,32,11:0

5The pilot experimental study of 14 MeV fast neutron digital radiography显示文摘14 MeV Fast neutrons has good penetrability and the 14 MeV fast neutron radiography can meet the need of Non-Destructive Test of the structure and lacuna of heavy-massive sample, whose shell is made of heavy metal and in which there are some hydrogen materials, and the study of fast neutron digital radiography just begins in China. By the use of a D-T accelerator, a digital imaging system made up of a fast neutron scintillation screen made of ZnS(Ag) and polypropylene, lens and a scientific grade CCD, the experimental study of fast neutron radiography has been done between 4.3×1010-6.8×1010 n/s of neutron yield. Some 14 MeV fast neutron digital radiographs have been gotten. 8Synthesis and orientational assemblies of MgO nanosheets with exposed(111) facets显示文摘MgO nanosheets with exposed(111) facets were obtained through the preparation of Mg(OH)2 precursor by a hydrothermal method in the presence of oleylamine and subsequent calcination in air.
