| 1 | Linkage between permafrost distribution and river runoff changes across the Arctic and the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘River runoff in the Arctic and the Tibetan Plateau(TP) change significantly in recent decades. However, the mechanisms of the physical processes of permafrost river runoff change remain uncertain across large scale. This study investigated the mainstreams and tributaries of main Arctic and TP rivers dominated by permafrost and assessed the linkage between hydrological regime change and permafrost. The results show that the effects of permafrost on river runoff are highly dependent on the permafrost coverage of a watershed. For the past decades, the majority of the Arctic and TP basins showed increased discharge, while all of the studied basins showed increased baseflow, with faster increasing speed than total discharge.Both total discharge and baseflow annual change rate(ΔQ and ΔBF) increased with permafrost coverage, indicating the increments of streamflow are enhanced with high permafrost coverage. Meanwhile, the annual change of precipitation showed weak connection with total discharge and baseflow change. The high permafrost coverage basins showed high annual maximum/minimum discharge ratio(Qmax/Qmin), while the Qmax/Qminchanged slightly in low permafrost cover basins. Our results highlight the importance of permafrost coverage on streamflow regime change for permafrost basins across the northern hemisphere. | 2 | Effect of grain size on the electrochemical behavior of pure magnesium anode显示文摘Three kinds of pure magnesium anode materials with different grain sizes were prepared by extrusion at different temperatures.The grain size of each sample was calculated,then the effect of grain size on the electrochemical properties of pure magnesium anode was investigated by chemical immersion hydrogen test,potentiodynamic polarization scanning,constant current discharge and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.As the extrusion temperature increases from 180℃ to 250℃,the average grain size of pure magnesium increases from 20m to 30m,and the pure magnesium extruded at 250℃ has the best electrochemical performance as magnesium anode,with the discharge potential of−1.571 V(vs.SCE).Plastic deformation process is a convenient method that can change the microstructure and improve the electrochemical behavior of magnesium anode. | Tianxu Zheng Yaobo Hu Shengwei Yang | 2017 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2017,5,4: | 3 |
| 3 | A scientometric review of biochar preparation research from 2006 to 2019显示文摘Biochar is the carbon-rich product obtained from the thermochemical conversion of biomass under oxygen-limited condi-tions.Preparation methods contribute to biochar properties,which are widely concerned in the agronomic and environmental benefits of agro-ecosystems.This research aims to use bibliometrics methods to comprehensively and objectively analyze the research trends in the global biochar production field from 2006 to 2019 based on the Web of Science Core Collection database.The results showed that 1434 papers related to biochar preparation were published,which gradually increased each year.The research topics were diversified,which were mainly divided into“Environmental Sciences and Ecology,”“Engineering”and“Agriculture”.Moreover,Bioresource Technology was the most published journal contained biochar preparation.Authors from China had the most publications,followed by the US,Australia and the UK.Meanwhile,Yong Sik Ok from Korea University contributed most of the publications and had the highest H-index.Keywords analysis indicated that biochar preparation by pyrolysis was a current hotspot,of which microwave and hydrothermal were a future research trend.Besides,gasification would be used to develop new biomass energy.Biochar has the characteristics of high pH,high specific surface area,high carbon content,and rich functional groups.It is mainly used in soil improvement,water pollutant adsorption,carbon sequestration and emission reduction,and energy storage materials,etc.Furthermore,raw materials,pyrolysis temperature and pyrolysis time will also affect its characteristics and applications.It is expected that this study may provide insight into the future research interests regarding biochar preparation. | Yuxin Jiao Dongyang Li Ming Wang Tiancheng Gong Mengyang Sun Tianxue Yang | 2021 | Biochar2021,3,3: | 3 |

| 7 | Tetrahedral framework nucleic acids promote scarless healing of cutaneous wounds via the AKT-signaling pathway显示文摘While the skin is considered the first line of defense in the human body,there are some vulnerabilities that render it susceptible to certain threats,which is an issue that is recognized by both patients and doctors.Cutaneous wound healing is a series of complex processes that involve many types of cells,such as fibroblasts and keratinocytes.This study showed that tetrahedral framework nucleic acids(tFNAs),a type of self-assembled nucleic-acid material,have the ability to promote keratinocyte(HaCaT cell line)and fibroblast(HSF cell line)proliferation and migration in vitro.In addition,tFNAs increased the secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)in HSF cells and reduced the production of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β)in HaCaT cells by activating the AKT-signaling pathway.During in vivo experiments,tFNA treatments accelerated the healing process in skin wounds and decreased the development of scars,compared with the control treatment that did not use tFNAs.This is the first study to demonstrate that nanophase materials with the biological features of nucleic acids accelerate the healing of cutaneous wounds and reduce scarring,which indicates the potential application of tFNAs in skin tissue regeneration. | Junyao Zhu Mei Zhang Yang Gao Xin Qin Tianxu Zhang Weitong Cui Chenchen Mao Dexuan Xiao Yunfeng Lin | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 1 |

| 13 | Preparation of nZVI embedded modified mesoporous carbon for catalytic persulfate to degradation of reactive black 5显示文摘High-efficiency and cost-effective catalysts with available strategies for persulfate(PS)activation are critical for the complete mineralization of organic contaminants in the environmental remediation and protection fields.A nanoscale zero-valent iron-embedded modified mesoporous carbon(MCNZVI)with a core-shell structure is synthesized using the hydrothermal synthesis method and high-temperature pyrolysis.The results showed that nZVI could be impregnated within mesoporous carbon frameworks with a comparatively high graphitization degree,rich nitrogen doping content,and a large surface area and pore volume.This material was used as a persulfate activator for the oxidation removal of Reactive Black 5(RB5).The effects of the material dosage,PS concentration,pH,and some inorganic anions(i.e.,Cl^(−),SO_(4)^(2−))on RB5 degradation were then investigated.The highest degradation efficiency(97.3%)of RB5 was achieved via PS(20 mmol/L)activation by the MCNZVI(0.5 g/L).The pseudo-first-order kinetics(k=2.11×10^(−2)min^(−1))in the MCNZVI/PS(0.5 g/L,20 mmol/L)was greater than 100 times than that in the MCNZVI and PS.The reactive oxygen species(ROS),including^(1)O_(2),SO_(4)^(·−),HO^(.),and·O_(2)^(−),were generated by PS activation with the MCNZVI.Singlet oxygen was demonstrated to be the primary ROS responsible for the RB5 degradation.The MCNZVI could be reused and regenerated for recycling.This work provides new insights into PS activation to remove organic contamination. | Zhifei Ma Huali Cao Fengchun Lv Yu Yang Chen Chen Tianxue Yang Haixin Zheng Daishe Wu | 2021 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,5: | 0 |
