| 1 | Fabrication of corrosion-resistant superhydrophobic coating on magnesium alloy by one-step electrodeposition method显示文摘A one-step electrodeposition method was used to construct a superhydrophobic coating on the surface of magnesium alloy.Using magne-sium nitrate and ethanol solution of stearic acid as electrolyte,four groups of electrolytes with different ratios of stearic acid and magnesium nitrate were designed to explore the influence of electrolyte to the process.The contact angles of the four coating samples were 136.4±5.8°,152.7±2.8°,156.2±4.9°and 155.1±4.4°The addition of magnesium nitrate in the solution increased the hydrogen evolution reaction in the electrodeposition process,which was not conducive to electrodeposition process.During the deposition process,the sample prepared in a molar ratio of stearic acid to magnesium nitrate of 10:1 had the best corrosion resistance,and its corrosion circuit density was 3.74×10^(−8)A/cm^(2),far lower than the corrosion current density of the magnesium alloy substrate. | Tianxu Zheng Yaobo Hu Fusheng Pan Yuxin Zhang Aitao Tang | 2019 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,2: | 26 |
| 2 | Titanium mesh for bone augmentation in oral implantology: current application and progress显示文摘Guided bone regeneration(GBR)is an effective and simple method for bone augmentation,which is often used to reconstruct the alveolar ridge when the bone defect occurs in the implant area.Titanium mesh has expanded the indications of GBR technology due to its excellent mechanical properties and biocompatibility,so that the GBR technology can be used to repair alveolar ridges with larger bone defects,and can obtain excellent and stable bone augmentation results.Currently,GBR with titanium mesh has various clinical applications,including different clinical procedures.Bone graft materials,titanium mesh covering methods,and titanium mesh fixing methods are also optional.Moreover,the research of GBR with titanium mesh has led to multifarious progresses in digitalization and material modification.This article reviews the properties of titanium mesh and the difference of titanium mesh with other barrier membranes;the current clinical application of titanium mesh in bone augmentation;common complications and management and prevention methods in the application of titanium mesh;and research progress of titanium mesh in digitization and material modification.Hoping to provide a reference for further improvement of titanium mesh in clinical application and related research of titanium mesh. | Yu Xie Songhang Li Tianxu Zhang Chao Wang Xiaoxiao Cai | 2020 | International Journal of Oral Science2020,12,4: | 22 |

| 4 | Hard tissue stability after guided bone regeneration: a comparison between digital titanium mesh and resorbable membrane显示文摘Guided bone regeneration(GBR)uses resorbable and non-resorbable membranes as biological barriers.This study compared the differences in hard tissue stability between GBR using evidence-based digital titanium mesh and resorbable collagen membranes during implant placement.A total of 40 patients(65 implant sites)were enrolled and divided into two groups:resorbable membrane and digital titanium mesh groups.The alveolar bone was analyzed at two-and three-dimensional levels using conebeam computed tomography and by reconstructing and superimposing the hard tissues at four time points:preoperatively,postoperatively,before second-stage surgery,and 1 year after loading.The use of digital titanium mesh showed less alveolar bone resorption in vertical and horizontal directions two-dimensionally before the second-stage surgery and 1 year after loading.Regarding volumetric stability,the percentage of resorption after 6 months of healing with resorbable membrane coverage reached 37.5%.However,it was only 23.4%with titanium mesh.Although postoperative bone volume was greater at all labial sites with resorbable membrane than with digital titanium mesh,after substantial bone resorption within 1 year of loading,the labial bone thickness at the upper part of implants was thinner with resorbable membrane than with digital titanium mesh.Furthermore,digital titanium meshes made according to ideal bone arch contour reduced soft tissue irritation,and the exposure rate was only 10%.Therefore,although both resorbable membrane and digital titanium mesh in GBR were able to successfully reconstruct the bone defect,digital titanium meshes were better at maintaining the hard tissue volume in the osteogenic space. | Songhang Li Junyi Zhao Yu Xie Taoran Tian Tianxu Zhang Xiaoxiao Cai | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,4: | 8 |
| 5 | The protective effect of tetrahedral framework nucleic acids on periodontium under inflammatory conditions显示文摘Periodontitis is a common disease that causes periodontium defects and tooth loss.Controlling inflammation and tissue regeneration are two key strategies in the treatment of periodontitis.Tetrahedral framework nucleic acids can modulate multiple biological behaviors,and thus,their biological applications have been widely explored.In this study,we investigated the effect of tFNAs on periodontium under inflammatory conditions.Lipopolysaccharide and silk ligature were used to induce inflammation in vivo and in vitro.The results displayed that tFNAs decreased the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and levels of cellular reactive oxygen species in periodontal ligament stem cells,which promoted osteogenic differentiation.Furthermore,animal experiments showed that tFNAs ameliorated the inflammation of the periodontium and protect periodontal tissue,especially reducing alveolar bone absorption by decreasing inflammatory infiltration and inhibiting osteoclast formation.These findings suggest that tFNAs can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of periodontitis and have the great potential significance in the field of periodontal tissue regeneration. | Mi Zhou Shaojingya Gao Xiaolin Zhang Tianxu Zhang Tao Zhang Taoran Tian Songhang Li Yunfeng Lin Xiaoxiao Cai | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,6: | 5 |
| 6 | Influence of extrusion conditions on microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr magnesium alloy显示文摘In general,different extrusion conditions will affect the microstructure of magnesium alloys and further determine the mechanical properties.The effects of extrusion parameters and heat treatment processes such as extrusion speed,pre-forging,annealing time,extrusion ratio and cooling rate on the microstructure,texture evolution and tensile properties of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloys were investigated in this study.Compared with the as-cast alloy,the extrusion process significantly refines the grains and exhibit the rare earth texture.With the increase of extrusion speed and annealing time,the growth of recrystallized grains is accelerated,leading to the increase of elongation.Large pre-forging deformation achieves to refine the grains by promoting recrystallization nucleation,resulting in increased strength of Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloy.Decreasing the extrusion ratio or increasing the cooling rate will introduce coarse un-DRXed grains,which transformed the texture into the basal texture.In particular,the effect of rapid cooling on refining the recrystallized grains is also obvious.Different extrusion conditions influence the mechanical properties of the Mg-2Gd-0.3Zr alloy through the grain size,proportion of non-recrystallization region and texture type. | Tianshuo Zhao Yaobo Hu Chao Zhang Bing He Tianxu Zheng Aitao Tang Fusheng Pan | 2022 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,2: | 4 |
| 7 | National-scale data-driven rainfall induced landslide susceptibility mapping for China by accounting for incomplete landslide data显示文摘China is one of the countries where landslides caused the most fatalities in the last decades. The threat that landslide disasters pose to people might even be greater in the future, due to climate change and the increasing urbanization of mountainous areas. A reliable national-scale rainfall induced landslide susceptibility model is therefore of great relevance in order to identify regions more and less prone to landsliding as well as to develop suitable risk mitigating strategies. However, relying on imperfect landslide data is inevitable when modelling landslide susceptibility for such a large research area. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of incomplete landslide data on national scale statistical landslide susceptibility modeling for China. In this context, it is aimed to explore the benefit of mixed effects modelling to counterbalance associated bias propagations. Six influencing factors including lithology, slope,soil moisture index, mean annual precipitation, land use and geological environment regions were selected based on an initial exploratory data analysis. Three sets of influencing variables were designed to represent different solutions to deal with spatially incomplete landslide information: Set 1(disregards the presence of incomplete landslide information), Set 2(excludes factors related to the incompleteness of landslide data), Set 3(accounts for factors related to the incompleteness via random effects). The variable sets were then introduced in a generalized additive model(GAM: Set 1 and Set 2) and a generalized additive mixed effect model(GAMM: Set 3) to establish three national-scale statistical landslide susceptibility models: models 1, 2 and 3. The models were evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristics curve(AUROC) given by spatially explicit and non-spatial cross-validation. The spatial prediction pattern produced by the models were also investigated. The results show that the landslide inventory incompleteness had a substantial impact on the outcomes of the statistical landslide susceptibility models. The cross-validation results provided evidence that the three established models performed well to predict model-independent landslide information with median AUROCs ranging from 0.8 to 0.9.However, although Model 1 reached the highest AUROCs within non-spatial cross-validation(median of 0.9), it was not associated with the most plausible representation of landslide susceptibility. The Model 1 modelling results were inconsistent with geomorphological process knowledge and reflected a large extent the underlying data bias. The Model 2 susceptibility maps provided a less biased picture of landslide susceptibility. However, a lower predicted likelihood of landslide occurrence still existed in areas known to be underrepresented in terms of landslide data(e.g., the Kuenlun Mountains in the northern Tibetan Plateau). The non-linear mixed-effects model(Model 3) reduced the impact of these biases best by introducing bias-describing variables as random effects. Among the three models, Model 3 was selected as the best national-scale susceptibility model for China as it produced the most plausible portray of rainfall induced landslide susceptibility and the highest spatially explicit predictive performance(median AUROC of spatial cross validation 0.84) compared to the other two models(median AUROCs of 0.81 and 0.79, respectively).
