| 1 | Baicalin inhibits colistin sulfate-induced apoptosis of PC12 cells显示文摘Baicalin,a type of flavonoid extracted from the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis georgi,has been shown to effectively inhibit cell apoptosis.Therefore,we assumed that baicalin would suppress colistin sulfate-induced neuronal apoptosis.PC12 cells exposed to colistin sulfate(62.5–500μg/mL)for 24 hours resulted in PC12 cell apoptosis.In addition,caspase-3 activity,lactate dehydrogenase level and free radical content increased in a dose-dependent manner.Subsequently,PC12 cells were pretreated with baicalin(25,50 and 100μg/mL),and exposed to 125μg/mL colistin sulfate.Cell morphology markedly changed,and cell viability increased.Moreover,caspase-3 activity,lactate dehydrogenase level and free radical content decreased.Results indicated that baicalin inhibited colistin sulfate-induced PC12 cell apoptosis by suppressing free radical injury,and reducing caspase-3 activity and lactate dehydrogenase activity. | Hong Jiang Pengfei Lv Jichang Li Hongjun Wang Tiezhong Zhou Yingzi Liu Wei Lin | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,28: | 4 |
| 2 | In sight of K-deficient layered K_(x)MnO_(2) cathode for potassium-ions batteries显示文摘Potassium-ions batteries(PIBs)are attracting increasing attention as up-and-coming youngster in largescale grid-level energy storage benefiting from its low-cost and high energy density.Nevertheless,enough researches regarding indispensable cathode materials for PIBs are badly absent.Herein,we synthesize K-deficient layered manganese-based oxides(P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2))and investigate them as cathode of PIBs for the first time.As the newcomer of potassium-containing layered manganese-based oxides(K_(x)MnO_(2))group,P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) delivers high discharge capacity of 99.3 mAh g^(-1) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2) exhibits remarkable capacity retention rate of 75.5%.Besides,in-situ XRD and ex-situ XRD measurements reveal the reversible phase transition of P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2) with the potassium-ions extraction and reinsertion,respectively.This work contributes to a better understanding for the potassium storage in K-deficient layered K_(x)MnO_(2)(x≤0.23),possessing an important basic scientific significance for the exploitation and application of layered K_(x)MnO_(2) in PIBs. | Tiezhong Liu Shuang Hou Youpeng Li Shoufeng Xue Junhua Hu Haikuo Fu Chenghao Yang Lingzhi Zhao | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1: | 2 |
| 3 | Prevention and Treatment of Chinese Herbal Preparation Yinqiaotiangan against Pathologic Model of Streptococcus suis Serotype II in Kunming Mice显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the antimicrobial effect of Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan against Streptococcus suis serotype II in vivo.[Method] The prevention and treatment tests were conducted with Kunming mice weighing about 18-22 g. In the prevention test,Kunming mice were inoculated with Streptococcus suis serotype II and simultaneously taken orally 0.5,1.0 and 2.0 g/ml Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan respectively for continuous 3 d,once a day; the incidence rate,mortality rate and protective rate were detected after 7 d. In the treatment test,Kunming mice were inoculated with Streptococcus suis serotype II to establish the Streptococcus suis serotype II pathogenic model,and then taken orally 0.5,1.0 and 2.0g / ml Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan respectively for continuous 3d,twice a day; the mortality rate,cure rate and effective rate were detected after 7d.[Result] Results of the prevention test showed that the protective rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly higher than that in control group ( P<0.01) ,while the incidence rate and mortality rate were extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.01) . Results of the treatment test showed that the incidence rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.01) ,the cure rate in 0.5 g / ml group was extremely significantly higher than that in 1.0 g/ ml group and 2.0 g / ml group (P<0.01) ,the effective rate in 0.5 g / ml group was significantly higher than that in 1.0 g / ml group and 2.0 g / ml group (P<0.05) ,with no significant difference from the positive group (P>0.05) .[Conclusion] The pathologic model of Streptococcus suis serotype II could be effectively prevented and treated by oral intake of low dose of Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan in Kunming mice. | Hong JIANG Shuhong HUANG Hongjun WANG Tiezhong ZHOU Zhuohui MA | 2013 | Agricultural Biotechnology2013,2,1: | 1 |

| 5 | Research on frequency-temperature compensated sapphire-SrTiO_3 loaded cavity for hydrogen maser显示文摘To obtain frequency-temperature compensation in a sapphire loaded cavity for hydrogen maser,a dielectric named SrTiO_3 is employed whose temperature coefficient of permittivity is opposite to that of sapphire. | 6 | Effects of mixed fertilizers formed by the compounding of two targeted controlled-release nitrogen fertilizers on yield,nitrogen use efficiency,and ammonia volatilization in double-cropping rice显示文摘One-time application of mixed fertilizer formed by the compounding of two controlled-release nitrogen fertilizers(CRUs)with targeted N supply during the periods from transplantation(TS)to panicle initiation(PI)and from PI to heading(HS)is expected to synchronize the double-peak N demand of rice.However,its effects on the yield and N use efficiency(NUE)of labor-intensive double-cropping rice were unknown.Two targeted CRU(CRU_(A)and CRU_(B))were compounded in five ratios(CRU_(A):CRU_(B)=10:0,7:3,5:5,3:7,and 0:10)to form five mixed fertilizers(BBFs):BBF1-5.A field experiment was performed to investigate the characteristics of N supply in early and late seasons under different BBFs and their effects on N uptake,yield,and ammonia volatilization(AV)loss from paddy fields of double-cropping rice.Conventional high-yield fertilization(CK,three split applications of urea)and zero-N treatments were established as controls.The N supply dropped significantly with the increased compound ratio of CRU_(B)during the period from TS to PI,but increased during the period from PI to HS.With the exception of the period from TS to PI in the late rice season,the N uptake of early and late rice maintained close synchronicity with the N supply of BBFs during the double-peak periods.Excessive N supply(BBF1 and BBF2)in the late rice season during the period from TS to PI increased N loss by AV.The effect of BBF on grain yield increase varied widely between seasons,irrespective of year.Among the BBFs,the BBF2 treatment of early rice not only stabilized the spikelets per panicle but also ensured a high number of effective panicles by promoting N uptake during the period from TS to PI and a high grain-filling percentage by appropriately reducing the N supply at the later PI stage,resulting in the highest rice yield.While stabilizing the effective panicle number,the BBF4 treatment of late rice increased the number of spikelets per panicle by promoting N uptake during the period from PI to HS,resulting in the highest rice yield.The two-year average yield and apparent N recovery efficiency of the BBF2 treatment during the early rice season were 9.6 t ha 1 and 45.3%,while those of late rice in BBF4 were 9.6 t ha 1 and 43.0%,respectively.The yield and NUE indexes of BBF2 in early rice and BBF4 in late rice showed no significant difference from those of CK.The AVs of BBF2 during the early rice season and of BBF4 during the late rice season were 50.0%and 76.8%lower,respectively,than those of CK.BBF2 and BBF4 could effectively replace conventional urea split fertilization in early and late rice seasons,ensuring rice yield and NUE and reducing AV loss in paddy fields. | Jian Ke Jie Sun Tingting Chen Shibao Tao Tiezhong Zhu Chuanjun Yin Haibing He Cuicui You Liquan Wu Shuangshuang Guo | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,2: | 0 |
