An overview of design for CSNS/RCS and beam transport显示文摘The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) is the first accelerator-based pulsed neutron source in China. Its accelerators are made up of an 80 MeV H- linac, a Rapid Cycling Synchrotron (RCS) and two beam transport lines. RCS accumulates and accelerates protons to the design energy of 1.6 GeV, and extracts high energy beam to strike the target. The overview of RCS is presented, and the key problems of the physics design are discussed. The two beam transport lines, from linac to RCS and from RCS to the target, are also introduced. | WANG Sheng AN YuWen FANG ShouXian HUANG Nan LIU WeiBin LIU YuDong QIN Qing QIU Jing WANG Na XU Gang XU ShouYan YU ChengHui | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,S2: | 11

Proteasomal and lysosomal degradation for specific and durable suppression of immunotherapeutic targets显示文摘Cancer immunotherapy harness the body's immune system to eliminate cancer,by using a broad panel of soluble and membrane proteins as therapeutic targets.Immunosuppression signaling mediated by ligand-receptor interaction may be blocked by monoclonal antibodies, but because of repopulation of the membranevia intracellular organelles, targets must be eliminated in whole cells.Targeted protein degradation,as exemplified in proteolysis targeting chimera(PROTAC)studies,is a promising strategy for selective inhibition of target proteins. The recently reported use of lysosomal targeting molecules to eliminate immune checkpoint proteins has paved the way for targeted degradation of membrane proteins as crucial anti-cancer targets.Further studies on these molecules'modes of action,target-binding'warheads',lysosomal sorting signals, and linker design should facilitate their rational design.Modifications and derivatives may improve their cell-penetrating ability and thein vivo stability of these pro-drugs.These studies suggest the promise of alternative strategies for cancer immunotherapy, with the aim of achieving more potent and durable suppression of tumor growth. Here, the successes and limitations of antibody inhibitorsin cancer immunotherapy,as well as research progress on PROTAC-and lysosomal-dependent degradation of target proteins, are reviewed. | Yungang Wang Shouyan Deng Jie Xu | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3: | 1
The development of perturbation model for fringe field in Open XAL and its application in beam commissioning of CSNS显示文摘Background The China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)accelerator employs Open XAL as the control software in beam commissioning. The main magnets of CSNS/RCS have serious fringe field effect;however, there is not corresponding model for fringe field in Open XAL.Purpose The purpose is to develop a suitable model for fringe field and append to the online model of Open XAL.Methods On the basis of the requirements of beam commissioning and model features of Open XAL,a perturbation model was developed to correct the effect of fringe field. Results The comparison of the parameters calculated by slice model with the values obtained from Open XAL with perturbation model showed the validity of the model.Furthermore, with the response matrix method, the values obtained from Open XAL with perturbation model were very close to the measured response matrices, which showed the accuracy of the model. Conclusion The perturbation model is effective for correcting the fringe field effect in Open XAL. | Xiaohan Lu Jianliang Chen Shouyan Xu Ming-Yang Huang Yuwen An Sheng Wang | 2018 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2018,2,2: | 1

Enhancer RNAs: A missing regulatory layer in gene transcription显示文摘Enhancers and super-enhancers exert indispensable roles in maintaining cell identity through spatiotemporally regulating gene transcription.Meanwhile, active enhancers and super-enhancers also produce transcripts termed enhancer RNAs(eRNAs) from their DNA elements.Although enhancers have been identified for more than 30 years, widespread transcription from enhancers are just discovered by genome-wide sequencing and considered as the key to understand longstanding questions in gene transcription.RNA-transcribed enhancers are marked by histone modifications such as H3K4m1/2 and H3K27Ac,and enriched with transcription regulatory factors such as LDTFs,P300,CBP,BRD4 and MED1.Those regulatory factors might constitute a Mega-Trans-like complex to potently activate enhancers.Compared to mRNAs,eRNAs are quite unstable and play roles at local.Functionally,it has been shown that e RNAs promote formation of enhancer-promoter loops.Several studies also demonstrated that eRNAs help the binding of RNA polymerase II(RNAPII) or transition of paused RNAPII by de-association of the negative elongation factor(NELF) complex.Nevertheless, these proposed mechanisms are not universally accepted and still under controversy. Here,we comprehensively summarize the reported findings and make perspectives for future exploration. We also believe that super-enhancer derived RNAs(seRNAs) might be informative to understand the nature of super-enhancers. | Renfang Mao Yuanyuan Wu Yue Ming Yuanpei Xu Shouyan Wang Xia Chen Xiaoying Wang Yihui Fan | 2019 | Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,7: | 1
Initial experience of laparoendoscopic single-site radical prostatectomy with a novel purpose-built robotic system显示文摘Objective This prospective single-arm clinical trial aimed to evaluated the feasibility and safety of the application of the SHURUI system(Beijing Surgerii Technology Co.,Ltd.,Beijing,China),a novel purpose-built robotic system,in single-port robotic radical prostatectomy. Methods Sixteen patients diagnosed with prostate cancer were prospectively enrolled in and underwent robotic radical prostatectomy from October 2021 to August 2022 by the SHURUI single-port robotic surgical system. The demographic and baseline data, surgical, oncological, and functional outcomes as well as follow-up data were recorded. Results The mean operative time was 226.3(standard deviation[SD]52.0)min,and the mean console time was 183.4(SD 48.3)min,with the mean estimated blood loss of 116.3(SD 90.0)mL.The mean length of postoperative hospital stay was 4.50(SD 0.97)days.Two patients had postoperative complications(Clavien-Dindo Grade II),and both patients improved after conservative treatment. All patients’postoperative prostate-specific antigen levels decreased to below 0.2 ng/mL 1 month after discharge. The mean prostate-specific antigen level further decreased to a mean of 0.0219(SD 0.0641)ng/mL 6 months after surgery.Thirty days postoperatively,12 out of 16 patients reported using no more than one urinary pad per day,and all patients reported satisfactory urinary control without the need for pads 6 months after surgery. Conclusion The SHURUI system is safe and feasible in performing radical prostatectomy via both transperitoneal and extraperitoneal approaches.Tumor control and urinary continence were satisfying for patients enrolled in.The next phase involves conducting a large-scale,multicenter randomized controlled trial to thoroughly assess the effectiveness and safety of the new technology in a broader population. | Zheng Wang Chao Zhang Chengwu Xiao Yang Wang Yu Fang Baohua Zhu Shouyan Tang Xiaofeng Wu Hong Xu Yi Zhou Lingfen Wu Zhenjie Wu Bo Yang Yi He Yi Liu Linhui Wang | 2023 | Asian Journal of Urology2023,10,4: | 0
Effects of Imidapril on Venous Blood Gas Values in Broiler Chickens Exposed to Low Ambient Temperature显示文摘ObjectiveThis study was designed to evaluate the effects of imidapril on blood gas parameters in broiler chickens. MethodTwenty-four chickens were randomly divided into three groups (n=8), control group, low temperature group and imidapril group. Chickens in low temperature group and imidapril group were exposed to low ambient temperature (12-18 ℃) from age at 14 d to 45 d, whereas the control group was exposed to 24-30 ℃; chickens in imidapril group were gavaged with imidapril (3 mg/kg) once daily for 30 d. At age of 45 d, blood was taken from wing vein and blood gas parameters were evaluated by blood gas analyzer in Luoyang Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University. ResultImidapril significantly increased hematocrit (HCT) and total hemoglobin content (T HBC ) and blood Na concentration in broiler chickens exposed to low ambient temperature. No significant differences were observed in pH, P CO 2 , P O 2 , K + , Ca 2+ , HCO 3-, HCO 3std , T CO 2 , BE and SO 2c . ConclusionImidapril increases hematocrit, total hemoglobin content and blood Na + concentration in chickens exposed to low ambient temperature. | Xueqin HAO Meng LI Shouyan ZHANG Yongshu WANG Tongwen SUN | 2013 | Agricultural Science & Technology2013,14,7: | 0
Numerical study on the role of microwave-metal discharge in microwave pyrolysis of WPCBs显示文摘As a promising green technology, microwave heating is highlighted by its high efficiency and low consumption, especially in the fast pyrolysis treatment for e-waste recycling.Electric discharge induced by microwave-metal interaction plays a significant role in the process, and its contribution to heat generation is,however, always hard to define qualitatively through direct experiments. In this simulation,a microwave heating model featuring the pulsed microwave-metal(MW-m)discharge was designed in multi-dimensions,using COMSOL Multiphysics software,to emphatically probe the depth and extent of the hot-spot effect as well as its auxo-action on the pyrolysis process of waste printed circuit boards(WPCBs).The energy loss generated by MW-m discharge was added into the models in the form of a built-in fluctuating heat source, and it is found that at a relatively low microwave energy-to-heat conversion rate(31.5%,220.5 W),due to the unique thermal effect of microwave-metal discharge,it can achieve an ideal pyrolysis effect.Based on the results, the instantaneous heat by discharge is generated in the similar trend of radiation pulses, and the local temperature of discharge spots can reach more than 2000 K the instant the discharge occurs, shortening the overall pyrolysis from dozens of minutes to around 200 s. | Zhenyu Jiang Jing Sun Wenlong Wang Huacheng Zhu Jingwei Li Zhanlong Song Xiqiang Zhao Yanpeng Mao Shouyan Chen | 2021 | Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2021,3,3: | 0
Residual orbit of BC bump for CSNS/RCS显示文摘Background In a beam cycle, there is a chicane bump(BC bump)in the injection region of the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS).It is a core part of the injection system and the important guarantee that the Linac beam injecting into the rapid cycling synchrotron(RCS).During the beam commissioning, the residual orbit of BC bump,i.e.,the closed-orbit distortion(COD)due to the imperfect BC bump, was an important problem which can affect the orbit correction and beam loss control of the RCS.Purpose The purpose is to develop a suitable method to judge and correct the residual orbit of BC bump. Methods According to the physics design, there is no residual orbit of BC bump in theory. However,if the residual orbit of BC bump exists in the actual operation, the circular beam orbit outside the injection region would be affected.By comparing the circular beam orbit outside the BC bump region in theory and that is measured in the actual operation, whether the residual orbit of BC bump exists can be judged.By using the three auxiliary windings of BC magnets, the residual orbit of BC bump can be corrected. Results The numerical simulation results showed that the measurement and correction methods had worked well and they can be applied to the beam commissioning of CSNS/RCS.The measurement results in the machine study showed that the residual orbit of BC bump is not large and can be reduced by the three auxiliary windings of BC magnets. Conclusion The methods to judge and correct the residual orbit of BC bump worked well and had been applied to the beam commissioning of CSNS/RCS. | Ming-Yang Huang Sheng Wang Shouyan Xu | 2019 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3: | 0
