| 1 | Diagnostic and prognostic value of minor elevated cardiac troponin levels for percutaneous coronary intervention-related myocardial injury:a prospective,single-center and double-blind study显示文摘Cardiac troponin-I(cTnI) and-T(cTnT) are sensitive and specific markers of myocardial injury.However,the role of increased cTnI and cTnT in percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)-related myocardial injury remains controversial.In this prospective,single-center and double-blind study,we aimed to determine the diagnostic and prognostic value of cTnI as well as cTnT(cTns) in PCI-related myocardial injury in a Chinese population.A total of 1,008 patients with stable angina pectoris and non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome were recruited.The levels of cTnI and cTnT were examined before and after PCI.All patients were followed up for26±9 months to observe the incidence of major adverse cardiac events(MACEs).Our results showed that postPCI cTnI and/or cTnT levels were increased to more than the 99^(th) percentile upper reference limit(URL) in 133(13.2%) patients,among which 22(2.2%) were more than 5×99^(th) percentile URL.By univariate analysis,an elevation in cTns after PCI was not an independent predictor of increased MACEs,HR 1.35(P = 0.33,95%CI:0.74-2.46).In conclusion,our data demonstrate that the incidence of PCI-related myocardial injury is not common in a Chinese population and minor elevated cTns levels may not be a sensitive prognostic marker for MACEs. | Min Zhang Huiwei He Ze-Mu Wang Zhihui Xu Ningtian Zhou Zhengxian Tao Bo Chen Chunjian Li Tiebing Zhu Di Yang Liansheng Wang Zhijian Yang | 2014 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,2: | 12 |

| 3 | Effect of the hyaluronic acid-poloxamer hydrogel on skin-wound healing: in vitro and in vivo studies显示文摘Background: Recent research into skin injury and wound healing has focused mainly on post‐trauma hemostasis, infection prevention, dermal regeneration and angiogenesis. However, less attention has been paid to air permeability and moisture loss prevention which also play important roles in injury healing. Methods: In the present work, we prepared a hyaluronic acid‐poloxamer (HA‐POL) hydrogel and tested the therapeutic effect of the hydrogel on skin‐wound healing. Results: The HA‐POL hydrogel transformed from sol to gel at 30°C, close to body temperature, and had stable moisturizing properties. HA‐POL hydrogel promoted skin‐wound healing and increased protein accumulation in the wound area. HA‐POL hydrogel allowed greater air permeability than Band‐aid, a typical wound covering. Results from transwell assays showed that the HA‐POL hydrogel effectively isolated skin‐wounds from bacterial invasion. | 5 | Research on the 'three shells' cooperative support technology of large-section chambers in deep mines显示文摘The'three shells'cooperative support technology was proposed herein according to both the large deformation of the rock surrounding large-section chambers in deep mines and the precarious stability of the support structures therein.The development range of the plastic zone in the surrounding rock was controlled by a stress shell to reduce the difficulty of controlling the surrounding rock.Additionally,the residual strength of the rock mass in the plastic zone and the self-bearing capacity of the surrounding rock were improved by a reinforced load-bearing shell.Furthermore,a passive load-bearing shell could restore the triaxial stress state of the surrounding rock on the free surface,reduce the influence of the external environment on the surrounding rock,and reinforce the surrounding rock with the strength of the shell.Reasonable layouts of large-section chambers were determined by analyzing the control effect of the stress shell on the surrounding rock under three kinds of in situ stress fields.The orthogonal test method was applied to reveal the influences of different support parameters in the reinforced loadbearing shell and passive load-bearing shell on the surrounding rock stability.The surrounding rock control effect of the'three shells'collaborative support technology was analyzed through numerical simulation and field monitoring.The results show that the maximum displacement between the roof and floor of the coal preparation chamber in the Xinjulong coal mine was approximately 48 mm,and the maximum displacement between its two sides was approximately 65 mm,indicating that the technology proposed herein could meet the long-term control requirements of the surrounding rock stability for large-section chambers in deep mines. | Cheng Zhu Yong Yuan Wenmiao Wang Zhongshun Chen Shengzhi Wang Huiwei Zhong | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,4: | 1 |
| 6 | Quantitative examination of the inhibitory activation of molecular targeting agents in hepatocellular carcinoma patient-derived cell invasion via a novel in vivo tumor model显示文摘Background: The outcomes for patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) receiving sorafenib are far from satisfactory because of treatment resistance to sorafenib. However, the exact mechanism of resistance to sorafenib remains unclear and it is valuable to establish a novel mouse model to quantitatively analyze the inhibition rates of sorafenib on the invasive growth of HCC cells in the liver.Methods: HCC tissue microblocks derived from patients were cultured and mixed with hydrogel drops. Then, hydrogel drops containing microblocks of HCC tissue were attached onto the surface of the livers of nude mice to form lesions or nodules of HCC. The mice received molecular targeting agents through oral administration. Livers with tumor nodules were harvested for H&E staining(hematoxylin-eosin staining) analysis and H&E staining images were quantitatively analyzed using image J software. The invasive growth of HCC cells into the liver was calculated using the depth of the lesions compared with the total thickness of the liver.Results: Microblocks containing cells derived from HCC patients can form lesions in the liver of nude mice. | 10 | Multiple isotopes reveal the driving mechanism of high NO_(3)^(-) level and key processes of nitrogen cycling in the lower reaches of Yellow River显示文摘The continuous increase of nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))level in rivers is a hot issue in the world.However,the driving mechanism of high NO_(3)^(-)level in large rivers is still lacking,which has limited the use of river water and increased the cost of water treatment.In this study,multiple isotopes and source resolution models are applied to identify the driving mechanism of high NO_(3)^(-)level and key processes of nitrogen cycling in the lower reaches of the Yellow River(LRYR).The major sources of NO_(3)^(-)were sewage and manure(SAM)in the low-flow season and soil nitrogen(SN)and chemical fertilizer(CF)in the high-flow season.Nitrification was the most key process of nitrogen cycling in the LRYR.However,in the biological removal processes,denitrification may not occur significantly.The temporal variation of contributions of NO_(3)^(-)sources were estimated by a source resolution model in the LRYR.The proportional contributions of SAM and CF to NO_(3)^(-)in the low-flow and high-flow season were 32.5%-52.3%,44.2%-46.2%and 36.0%-40.8%,54.9%-56.9%,respectively.The driving mechanisms of high NO_(3)^(-)level were unreasonable sewage discharge,intensity rainfall runoff,nitrification and lack of nitrate removal capacity.To control the NO_(3)^(-)concentration,targeted measures should be implemented to improve the capacity of sewage and wastewater treatment,increase the utilization efficiency of nitrogen fertilizer and construct ecological engineering.This study deepens the understanding of the driving mechanism of high nitrate level and provides a vital reference for nitrogen pollution control in rivers to other area of the world. | Qianqian Zhang Huiwei Wang Lu Liu Tianlun Zhai Xueqing Zhang | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4: | 0 |

| 12 | Adjustment for the Age-and Gender-Related Metabolic Changes Improves the Differential Diagnosis of Parkinsonism显示文摘Age and gender are the important factors for brain metabolic declines in both normal aging and neurodegeneration,and the confounding effects may influence early and differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases based on the[^(18)F]fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography([^(18)F]FDG PET).We aimed to explore the potential of the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors on[^(18)F]FDG PET images in differentiation of Parkinson’s disease(PD),multiple system atrophy(MSA)and progressive supra-nuclear palsy(PSP).Eight hundred and seventy-seven clinically definitely diagnosed Parkinsonian patients from a benchmark Huashan Parkinsonian PET imaging database were included.An age-and gender-adjusted Z(AGAZ)score was established based on the gender-specific longitudinal metabolic changes on healthy subjects.AGAZ scores and standardized uptake value ratio(SUVR)values were quantified at regional-level and support vector machine-based error-correcting output codes method was applied for classification.Additional references of the classifications based on metabolic pattern scores were included.The feature-based AGAZ score showed the best performance in classification(accuracy for PD,MSA,PSP:93.1%,96.3%,94.8%).In both genders,the AGAZ score con-sistently achieved the best efficiency,and the improvements compared to the conventional SUVR value for PD,MSA,and PSP mainly laid in specificity(Male:5.7%;Female:11.1%),sensitivity(Male:7.2%;Female:7.3%),and sensitivity(Male:7.3%;Female:17.2%).Female patients benefited more from the adjustment on[^(18)F]FDG PET in MSA and PSP groups(absolute net reclassification index,p<0.001).Collectively,the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors may improve the differential diagnosis of Parkinsonism.Particularly,the diagnosis of female Parkinsonian population has the best improvement from this correction. | Jiaying Lu Min Wang Ping Wu Igor Yakushev Huiwei Zhang Sibylle Ziegler Jiehui Jiang Stefan Förster Jian Wang Markus Schwaiger Axel Rominger Sung-Cheng Huang Fengtao Liu Chuantao Zuo Kuangyu Shi | 2023 | Phenomics2023,3,1: | 0 |
