1糖尿病视网膜病变患病率的流行病学调查:在中国6省13473名糖尿病患者中的横断面研究显示文摘目的本研究旨在探究中国糖尿病患者中糖尿病视网膜病变(DR)和视力威胁性糖尿病视网膜病变(STDR)的患病率和严重程度。研究设计、设置与参与者本研究为横断面流行病学调查,研究对象为中国内地地区的糖尿病患者(N=13473)。研究对象为被内科医师诊断为糖尿病,并转诊到筛查门诊的糖尿病患者(其中住院患者占1/3,城市居民占1/3,农村居民占1/3)。研究对象的每只眼睛应用彩色、免散瞳和非立体眼底照相机拍摄2张眼底照片,并根据英国DR分级指南进行分级。主要结果和测量指标DR与STDR的患病率和严重程度。结果在参与本研究的13473例糖尿病患者中,共发现4591例DR和1769例STDR患者,DR的总体患病率为34.08%[95%可信区间(凹)33.28%~34.88%],其中STDR的总体患病率为13.13%(95%C112.56%~13.70%)。在所有研究对象中,12780例参与了眼底照片分级(94.86%)。年龄大于65岁的研究对象患DR或STDR的可能性较低(P〈0.001)。性别对是否患病没有显著影响(P〉0.05)。STDR患者与非STDR患者相比,视力损伤更为严重(P〈0.001)。中国北方DR和STDR的患病率高于南方(P〈0.001)。DR的患病率与糖尿病患病时间f比值比(鲫)2.63;95%C12.42~2.86;P〈0.001]以及糖尿病发病年龄(OR 0.38;95%CI为0.35~0.41;P〈0.001)密切相关。结论DR和STDR在中国内地地区的患病率偏高,并且不同地区患病率存在差异。在DR中,非增殖性DR更常见,但STDR更需要及时的诊断和治疗,特别是在经济欠发达地区。本研究强调了中国内地地区DR筛查和治疗的重要性。Liu, Yan Song, Yifan Tao, Liyuan Qiu, Weiqiang Lv, Huibin Jiang, Xiaodan Zhang, Mingzhou Li, Xuemin 2017英国医学杂志中文版2017,20,11:23
2Mechanical Properties and Microstructure of 6082-T6 Aluminum Alloy Joints by Self-support Friction Stir Welding显示文摘The majority of this research has concentrated on developing the self-support friction stir welding(SSFSW) tool which consists of a big concave upper shoulder and a small convex lower shoulder, and procedures for making reliable welds in aluminum hollow extrusion. The 5-mm-thick 6082-T6 aluminum alloy was self-support friction stir welded at a constant tool rotation speed of 800 r/min. The effect of welding speed on microstructure and mechanical properties was investigated. The results of transverse tensile test indicated that the tensile strength of joints increased and the elongation decreased with increasing welding speed. The whole values of microhardness of SSFSW joints increased with increasing welding speed from 10 to 200 mm/min. The defectfree joints were obtained at lower welding speeds and the tensile fracture was located at the heat-affected zone(HAZ) adjacent to the thermo-mechanically affected zone(TMAZ) on the advancing side. The investigation of the flow pattern of the softened metal around the SSFSW tool revealed that the flow pattern of the softened metal was driven by two shoulders and the stir pin. 3Synergistic effect enhances the peroxidase-like activity in platinum nanoparticle-supported metal—organic framework hybrid nanozymes for ultrasensitive detection of glucose显示文摘The metal—organic frameworks(MOFs)are expected as ideal biomimetic enzymes for colorimetric glucose detection because of their large surface areas,well defined pore structures,tunable chemical composition,and multi-functional sites.However,the intrinsically chemical instability and low mimetic enzyme activity of MOFs hinder the application of them in imitating the enzyme reactions.In this work,we demonstrated a metal-MOF synergistic catalysis strategy,by loading Pt nanoparticles(Pt NPs)on MIL-88B-NH2(Fe-MOF)to increase peroxidase-like activity for the detection of glucose.The induced electrons transfer from Pt atom to Fe atom accelerated the redox cycling of Fe^(3+)/Fe^(2+),improved the overall efficiency of the peroxidase-like reaction,and enabled the efficient and robust colorimetric glucose detection,which was proved by both experiments and density functional theory(DFT)calculation.Additionally,the sensitivity and chemical stability of this synergistic effect strategy to detect the glucose are not affected by the complex external factors,which represented a great potential in fast,easy,sensitive,and specific recognition of clinical diabetes.Jing Li Jie Zhao Shengqiang Li Yang Chen Weiqiang Lv Jiahui Zhang Libing Zhang Zhen Zhang Xiaoquan Lu 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:2
4Advanced lanthanide doped upconversion nanomaterials for lasing emission显示文摘Microlasers are narrow-band and coherent light from small cavities,which have been widely applied in biomedicine,optical interconnection,integration devices,etc.Lanthanide doped upconversion materials are potential gain media for microlasers from near infrared(NIR)to visible and UV regimes due to their multi ladder-like metastable energy levels and superior optical frequency conversion capability.The optical feedback from photon scattering of the porous upconversion nanoparticles clusters has been reported to produce upconversion random lasers.The light bouncing back and forth between two reflective surfaces or internal surface has been utilized to achieve modulated upconversion lasing emission.In addition,photon lattices and plasmonic cavities with enhanced electromagnetic fields can amplify the upconversion process within the sub-diffraction volumes and produce highly efficient upconverting lasers.In this review,the recent advances on using lanthanide doped upconversion materials for random,whispering gallery mode(WGM)/Fabry-Perot(FP)cavity and photon lattice/plasmonic cavity modulated upconversion microlasers are overviewed.Current challenges and future directions of the upconverting lasers are also discussed.Yunfei Shang Tong Chen Tianhui Ma Shuwei Hao Weiqiang Lv Dechang Jia Chunhui Yang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,5:2

6Polybenzimidazole functionalized electrolyte with Li-wetting and self-fluorination functionalities for practical Li metal batteries显示文摘Rough Li plating,low ionic conductivity,and low thermal stability of conventional electrolytes post-primary challenges for achieving reliable high-capacity rechargeable lithium batteries,for which lithiummetal is frequently proposed as themost promising anode material.Conventional low-polarity commercial polypropylene/polyethylene separators fail to support the application of high-energy-density Li anodes due to their rigid physicochemical properties and the high reactivity of Li metal,leading to fatal dendrite formation and vigorous exothermic reaction with electrolytes.Herein,we develop a Li-wetting,flame-retardant binary polymer electrolyte by functionalizing poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)separators with nonflammable polybenzimidazole(PBI)to build safe room-temperature solid-state electrolyte membranes.A dendrite-free LiFePO4 cell with the solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)delivers a discharge capacity of 127 mAh g^(-1) at 25℃ with a capacity retention of 87.5%after 500 cycles at 0.5℃(0.15 mA cm^(-2)).Phase-field simulations and density functional theory calculations demonstrate that the negatively charged benzimidazole chains of PBI own superior affinity to lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI),and shares overlapping electron density with Li anode,giving rise to accelerated Li^(+)conduction at room temperature and uniform Li electrodeposition at the electrolyte/Li metal interface.The SPE is also flame-retardant since heat-resistant polytetrafluoroethylene and a dense,heat-blocking graphitized carbon layer are formed in intense heat throughdehydrogenation/fluorination of PVDF under the catalysis of Lewis base imidazole rings and the decomposition of benzimidazole rings in PBI.No such fire-resistant mechanism is ever reported in conventional electrolytes.Dongjiang Chen Yuanpeng Liu Chuan Xia Yupei Han Qingwei Sun Xuchang Wang Wei Chen Xian Jian Weiqiang Lv Jianyi Ma Weidong He 2022InfoMat2022,4,5:1
7Cathode infiltration with enhanced catalytic activity and durability for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells显示文摘To lower the operation temperature and increase the durability of solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs), increasing attentions have been paid on developing cathode materials with good oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)activity at intermediate-temperature(IT, 500-750 ℃) range. However, most cathode materials exhibit poor catalytic activity, or they thermally mismatch with SOFC electrolytes and undergo severe degeneration. Infiltrating catalysts on existing backbone materials has been proved to be an efficient method to construct highly active and durable cathodes. In this mini-review, the advantages of infiltration-based cathode compared with new material-based cathodes are summarized. The merits and drawbacks of different backbones are illustrated. Different types of catalysts for infiltration are depicted in detail. 8Flexible,anti-damage,and non-contact sensing electronic skin implanted with MWCNT to block public pathogens contact infection显示文摘If a person comes into contact with pathogens on public facilities,there is a threat of contact(skin/wound)infections.More urgently,there are also reports about COVID-19 coronavirus contact infection,which once again reminds that contact infection is a very easily overlooked disease exposure route.Herein,we propose an innovative implantation strategy to fabricate a multi-walled carbon nanotube/polyvinyl alcohol(MWCNT/PVA,MCP)interpenetrating interface to achieve flexibility,anti-damage,and non-contact sensing electronic skin(E-skin).Interestingly,the MCP E-skin had a fascinating non-contact sensing function,which can respond to the finger approaching 0−20 mm through the spatial weak field.This non-contact sensing can be applied urgently to human–machine interactions in public facilities to block pathogen.The scratches of the fruit knife did not damage the MCP E-skin,and can resist chemical corrosion after hydrophobic treatment.In addition,the MCP E-skin was developed to real-time monitor the respiratory and cough for exercise detection and disease diagnosis.Notably,the MCP E-skin has great potential for emergency applications in times of infectious disease pandemics.Duan-Chao Wang Hou-Yong Yu Lurong Jiang Dongming Qi Xinxing Zhang Lumin Chen Wentao Lv Weiqiang Xu Kam Chiu Tam 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:1
9Targeting iron metabolism using gallium nanoparticles to suppress ferroptosis and effectively mitigate acute kidney injury显示文摘Ferroptosis plays a critical pathophysiological role in several types of acute kidney injury(AKI).The development of nanomaterials targeting iron metabolism and ferroptosis is a promising approach for AKI treatment.Herein,we synthesized gallic acid-gallium polyvinyl pyrrolidone nanoparticles(GGP NPs)as a potential iron-scavenging agent because of their nearly ionic radius and chemical similarity with iron.The results indicated that GGP NPs accumulated in tubular epithelial cells and showed good biocompatibility.GGP NPs significantly inhibited cisplatin(CP)-induced ferroptosis in HK-2 cells by reducing the accumulation of intracellular free iron and mitochondrial dysfunction,and suppressing the perturbations of ferroptosis processes,including lipid peroxidation,nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH)and glutathione(GSH)levels,glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)activity,and ferritinophagy.An in vivo study demonstrated that treatment with GGP NPs significantly ameliorated the renal tubular injury and mitochondrial damage induced by CP treatment or ischemia-reperfusion injury.Our study suggests that GGP NPs may be an effective and promising candidate for AKI treatment and enable potential clinical translation.Xishao Xie Yunjing Zhang Xinwan Su Junni Wang Xi Yao Dou Lv Qin Zhou Jianhua Mao Jianghua Chen Fei Han Yangyang Li Weiqiang Lin 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
10Enhanced Li+migration in solid polymer electrolyte driven by anion-containing polymer-chains显示文摘Li-ion batteries with solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)are safer than conventional liquid electrolytes due to the absence of highly flammable liquid electrolytes.However,their performance is limited by the poor Li+transport in SPEs at room temperature.Anion-containing polymer-chains incorporated SPEs(ASPEs)are therefore developed to enhance Li^(+) diffusion kinetics.Herein,we propose a novel and feasible strategy to incorporate the anion-containing polymer-chains,such as lithiated perfluorinated sulfonic acid(PFSA),into polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)polymer-based SPEs.The immobile anion groups from the PFSA-chains impede the migration of mobile anion groups dissociated from the Li salt.The transference number is thus raised from∼0.3 to 0.52 with the introduction of anion-containing polymer-chains into SPEs.The electrostatic repulsion among anion-containing chains also reduces the close chain stacking and brings 159%increase in the ionic conductivity to 0.83×10^(−3) S/cm at 30℃ in contrast with the pure PVDF-based SPE.In addition,LiFeO_(4)/Li batteries with ASPEs exhibit 55%capacity boost at 0.5 C in contrast to the capacity of batteries with pure-PVDF SPEs,and also offer more than 1000 charge/discharge cycles.Our research findings potentially offer a facile strategy to design thermal stable SPEs with superior Li^(+) transport behaviors towards developing high-performance SPEs-based batteries.Xingyi Zhang Modeste Venin Mendieev Nitou Wenjun Li Zhao Wan Longfei Liu Zhaohui Luo Sohail Muhammad Wu Qin Liang An Yinghua Niu Weiqiang Lv 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,11:0
11LiFePO_(4) as a dual-functional coating for separators in lithium-ion batteries:A new strategy for improving capacity and safety显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)require separators with high performance and safety to meet the increasing demands for energy storage applications.Coating electrochemically inert ceramic materials on conventional polyolefin separators can enhance stability but comes at the cost of increased weight and decreased capacity of the battery.Herein,a novel separator coated with lithium iron phosphate(LFP),an active cathode material,is developed via a simple and scalable process.The LFP-coated separator exhibits superior thermal stability,mechanical strength,electrolyte wettability,and ionic conductivity than the conventional polyethylene(PE)separator.Moreover,the LFP coating can actively participate in the electrochemical reaction during the charge-discharge process,thus enhancing the capacity of the battery.The results show that the LFP-coated separator can increase the cell capacity by 26%,and improve the rate capability by 29%at 4 C compared with the conventional PE separator.The LFP-coated separator exhibits only 1.1%thermal shrinkage at 140°C,a temperature even above the melting point of PE.This work introduces a new strategy for designing separators with dual functions for the next-generation LIBs with improved performance and safety.Modeste Venin Mendieev Nitou Yashuai Pang Zhao Wan Wenjun Li Zhuohang Zhong Waqas Muhammad Saeed Muhammad Sohail Muhammad Yinghua Niu Weiqiang Lv 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11:0
12The Earth Summit Mission-2022:Successful ozone soundings contribute to source identification in the north Mt.Qomolangma region显示文摘As part of“The Earth Summit Mission-2022”during the second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research(STEP)in April and May 2022,we conducted the ozone sounding experiment(an ozonesonde mated to a radiosonde)at Mt.Qomolangma Base Camp(MQBC;86.85°E,28.14°N;5200 m),a location at an extremely high altitude.A total of ten sounding profiles were obtained between April 30 and May 06,2022,of which seven profiles were above35 km in altitude,with a maximum detection altitude up to 39.0 km.This study presents the temporal variation and vertical distributions of atmospheric temperature,humidity,and ozone during the MQBC campaign.The averaged ozone concentration was high(68.3 ppbv)at the surface and then increased smoothly until peaking(~110 ppbv)in the middle troposphere(approximately 10 km),and afterward,the ozone concentration increased rapidly from the upper troposphere to a maximum of~10 ppmv at~30 km.The enhanced ozone concentration in the middle troposphere was associated with the blocking high pressure,and transport from the southern flank of the Himalayas occurred during the campaign period.The average total ozone column was 291.9±21.4 DU for the seven profiles exceeding 35km in altitude.The ozonesonde measurements were also compared with the vertical ozone profiles retrieved from the space-borne ozone products from the Microwave Limb Sounder(MLS)onboard the Aura satellite and the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder(AIRS)onboard the Aqua satellite.Jinqiang Zhang Chunxiang Ye Yuejian Xuan Zhixuan Bai Weili Lin Dan Li Lingkun Ran Baofeng Jiao YaomingMa Weiqiang Ma Nan Yao Yunshu Zeng Daren Lv Tong Zhu 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
13Dietary resistant starch ameliorating lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammation in meat ducks associated with the alteration in gut microbiome and glucagon-like peptide 1 signaling显示文摘Background:Consumption of resistant starch(RS)has been associated with various intestinal and systemic health benefits,but knowledge of its effects on intestinal health and inflammatory response in stressed birds is limited.Here,we examined how dietary RS supplementation from 12%raw potato starch(RPS)modulated inflammatory severity induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)in meat ducks.Results:LPS administration at 14,16,and 18 d(chronic challenge)decreased body weight(BW)and glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor(GLP-1R)level with higher intestinal permeability and inflammation,evident by higher proinflammatory cytokine levels.Dietary 12%RPS supplementation enhanced Claudin-1 and GLP-1R expression,along with lower levels of inflammatory factors in both ileum and serum.Microbiome analysis showed that RS treatment shifted microbial structure reflected by enriched the proportion of Firmicutes,Bifidobacterium,Ruminococcus,etc.Dietary RS addition also significantly increased the concentrations of propionate and butyrate during chronic LPS challenge.Furthermore,response to acute challenge,the ducks received 2 mg/kg BW LPS at 14 d had higher concentrations of serum endotoxins and inflammatory cytokines,as well as upregulated transcription of toll like receptor 4(TLR4)in ileum when compared to control birds.Analogous to GLP-1 agonist liraglutide,dietary RS addition decreased endotoxins and inflammation cytokines,whereas it upregulated the GLP-1 synthesis related genes expression.Meanwhile,dietary RS supplementation suppressed the acute LPS challenge-induced TLR4 transcription.Conclusions:These data suggest that dietary 12%RPS supplementation could attenuate the LPS-induced inflammation as well as intestinal injury of meat ducks,which might involve in the alteration in gut microbiota,SCFAs production and the signaling pathways of TLR4 and GLP-1/GLP-1R.Simeng Qin Weiqiang Bai Todd JApplegate Keying Zhang Gang Tian Xuemei Ding Shiping Bai Jianping Wang Li Lv Huanwei Peng Yue Xuan Qiufeng Zeng 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,6:0
