1Selective laser melting(SLM)of CX stainless steel:Theoretical calculation,process optimization and strengthening mechanism显示文摘In the present work,selective laser melting(SLM)technology was utilized for manufacturing CX stainless steel samples under a series of laser parameters.The effect of laser linear energy density on the microstructure characteristics,phase distribution,crystallographic orientation and mechanical properties of these CX stainless steel samples were investigated theoretically and experimentally via scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscope(TEM).Based on the systematic study,the SLM CX stainless steel sample with best surface roughness(Ra=4.05±1.8μm)and relative density(Rd=99.72%±0.22%)under the optimal linear density(η=245 J/m)can be obtained.SLM CX stainless steel was primarily constituted by a large number of fine martensite(α’phase)structures(i.e.,cell structures,cellular dendrites and blocky grains)and a small quantity of austenite(γphase)structures.The pre ferred crystallographic orientation(i.e.,<111>direction)can be determined in the XZ plane of the SLM CX sample.Furthermore,under the optimal linear energy density,the good combinations with the highest ultimate tensile strength(UTS=1068.0%±5.9%)and the best total elongation(TE=15.70%±0.26%)of the SLM CX sample can be attained.Dislocation strengthening dominates the strengthening mechanism of the SLM CX sample in as-built state.Dongdong Dong Cheng Chang Hao Wang Xingchen Yan Wenyou Ma Min Liu Sihao Deng Julien Gardan Rodolphe Bolot Hanlin Liao 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,14:11
2Additive manufacturing of steel–copper functionally graded material with ultrahigh bonding strength显示文摘Additive manufacturing enables processing of functionally graded materials(FGMs)with flexible spatial design and high bonding strength.A steel-copper FGM with high interfacial strength was developed using laser powder bed fusion(LPBF).The effect of laser process parameters on interfacial defects was evaluated by X-ray tomography,which indicates a low porosity level of 0.042%therein.Gradient/fine dendritic grains in the interface are incited by high cooling rates,which facilitates interface strengthening.Multiple mechanical tests evaluate the bonding reliability of interface;and the fatigue tests further substantiate the ultrahigh bonding strength in FGMs,which is superior to traditional manufacturing methods.Mechanisms of the high interfacial bond strength were also discussed.Chaolin Tan Youxiang Chew Guijun Bi Di Wang Wenyou Ma Yongqiang Yang Kesong Zhou 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,13:7
3Acoustic emission monitoring of rockbursts during TBM-excavated headrace tunneling at Jinping Ⅱ hydropower station显示文摘To better understand the mechanical properties of marble at Jinping II hydropower station, this paper examines the changes of brittle rocks in excavation damaged zones(EDZs) before and after excavation of tunnel with the tunnel boring machine(TBM). The paper attempts to employ the acoustic emission(AE) to study the AE characteristics and distribution of rockburst before and after TBM-excavated tunnel. It is known that the headrace tunnel #2, excavated by the drill-and-blast(D&B) method, is ahead of the headrace tunnel #3 that is excavated by TBM method. The experimental sub-tunnel #2–1, about 2000 m in depth and 13 m in diameter, between the two tunnels is scheduled. In the experimental sub-tunnel #2–1, a large number of experimental boreholes are arranged, and AE sensors are installed within 10 m apart from the wall of the headrace tunnel #3. By tracking the microseismic signals in rocks, the location, frequency, quantity, scope and intensity of the microseismic signals are basically identifed. It is observed that the AE signals mainly occur within 5 m around the rock wall, basically lasting for one day before tunnel excavation and a week after excavation. Monitoring results indicate that the rockburst signals are closely related to rock stress adjustment. The rock structure has a rapid self-adjustment capacity before and after a certain period of time during tunneling. The variations of rock stresses would last for a long time before reaching a fnal steady state. 4Intercropping of Sonchus asper and Vicia faba affects plant cadmium accumulation and root responses显示文摘The cadmium(Cd)pollution of farmland soil is serious in the world.The present study investigated the effects of intercropping Vicia faba and the hyperaccumulator Sonchus asper on the Cd accumulation and root responses(morphology and secreted organic acids)of plants grown on soil from a mining area in Yunnan Province,China,under different Cd stress levels(0,50,100,and 200 mg kg-1).Intercropping increased the biomass of both S.asper and V.faba,as well as the Cd accumulation and Cd transfer coefficient from roots to shoots of S.asper,but decreased those of V.faba in the 200 mg kg-1Cd treatment.The Cd concentrations in roots,shoots,and grains from intercropped V.faba plants were positively correlated(P<0.05)with the N,N-diethyl phenylacetamide-extractable Cd content in soil.In the 50 mg kg-1Cd treatment,intercropping decreased citric and malic acids in root secretions of S.asper.Intercropped V.faba secreted more citric,oxalic,acetic,and malic acid compared with S.asper.Intercropping also increased root length and root surface area of both S.asper and V.faba.At 50 mg kg-1Cd,root length for S.asper was higher than that at 0 mg kg-1Cd,whereas V.faba roots had significantly decreased length and mean diameter.Intercropping of S.asper and V.faba is suggested as an in situ phytoremediation strategy of Cd-contaminated soils and may improve the food quality of V.faba.Yanqun ZU Li QIN Fangdong ZHAN Jiong WU Yuan LI Jianjun CHEN Jixiu WANG Wenyou HU 2020Pedosphere2020,30,4:6

6Design method with controllable velocity direction at throat for inward-turning inlets显示文摘In the design of a hypersonic inward-turning inlet by applying the traditional basic flowfield, a reflected shock-wave is formed in the isolator due to the continuous reflection of the cowlreflected shock wave in the basic flow-field, which interacts with the boundary layer to produce a considerable influence on the performance of the inlet. Here, a basic flow-field design method that can control the velocity direction at the throat section is developed, and numerical simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method. The method presented in this paper can achieve the absorption of the reflected waves at the shoulder of the basic flow-field by adjusting the variation law of the center radius in the basic flow-field, and a smooth transition between the compression surface and the isolator can also be produced. The Mach number and total pressure recovery coefficient of the inlet designed according to this method are 3.00 and 0.657, respectively, at design point(the incoming flow Mach number Ma1= 6.0).
