2Band Engineering and Morphology Control of Oxygen‑Incorporated Graphitic Carbon Nitride Porous Nanosheets for Highly Efficient Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4)-based photocatalysts have shown great potential in the splitting of water.However,the intrinsic drawbacks of g-C3N4,such as low surface area,poor diffusion,and charge separation efficiency,remain as the bottleneck to achieve highly efficient hydrogen evolution.Here,a hollow oxygen-incorporated g-C3N4 nanosheet(OCN)with an improved surface area of 148.5 m2 g^−1 is fabricated by the multiple thermal treatments under the N2/O2 atmosphere,wherein the C–O bonds are formed through two ways of physical adsorption and doping.The physical characterization and theoretical calculation indicate that the O-adsorption can promote the generation of defects,leading to the formation of hollow morphology,while the O-doping results in reduced band gap of g-C3N4.The optimized OCN shows an excellent photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of 3519.6μmol g^−1 h^−1 for~20 h,which is over four times higher than that of g-C3N4(850.1μmol g^−1 h^−1)and outperforms most of the reported g-C3N4 catalysts.Yunyan Wu Pan Xiong Jianchun Wu Zengliang Huang Jingwen Sun Qinqin Liu Xiaonong Cheng Juan Yang Junwu Zhu Yazhou Zhou 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,3:3
3Mechanical Properties and Wettability of Bagasse-reinforced Composite显示文摘Bagasse fibers were modified using NaOH, KH550, and NaOH/KH550, respectively, and used as reinforcement to prepare bagasse/starch/PVA composite. A combination of Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction(XRD) was used to investigate the chemical composition. The surface of bagasse fibers and cross-sectional morphologies for bagasse/starch/PVA composite were also characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Contact angles were measured to test the wettability of the resulting composite. After the chemical treatment with NaOH/KH550, the mechanical properties of the composite can be greatly improved. 4Comparisons of Salinity Adaptation in Terms of Growth, Body Composition, and Energy Budget in Juveniles of Rainbow and Steelhead Trouts (Oncorhynchus mykiss)显示文摘This study examined the effect of different salinities(0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30) on the growth performance and energy budget of juveniles of two different ecotypes of Oncorhynchus mykiss, landlocked rainbow trout and anadromous steelhead trout. In the 42 d experiment, fish were cultured in three replicate tanks per salinity treatment(eight fish per tank). At the end of the experiment, the growth of rainbow and steelhead trouts was significantly higher at salinities of 5 and 10, respectively, than at all other salinities. The protein, lipid and energy content of both ecotypes declined with the increase of salinity. Based on their energy budgets, the percentage of energy consumed for growth by rainbow and steelhead trouts were significantly higher at salinities of 5(34.00% ±1.69%) and 10(43.76% ± 1.29%), respectively, than at all other salinities. The percentage of energy consumed for respiration by rainbow and steelhead trouts was lower at salinities of 5(54.90% ± 1.77%) and 10(46.73% ± 0.62%), respectively, than at all other salinities. 5Bend family proteins mark chromatin boundaries and synergistically promote early germ cell differentiation显示文摘Understanding the regulatory networks for germ cell fate specification is necessary to developing strategies for improving the efficiency of germ cell production in vitro.In this study,we developed a coupled screening strategy that took advantage of an arrayed bi-molecular fluorescence complementation(BiFC)platform for protein-protein interaction screens and epiblast-like cell(EpiLC)-induction assays using reporter mouse embryonic stem cells(mESCs).Investigation of candidate interaction partners of core human pluripotent factors OCT4,NANOG,KLF4 and SOX2 in EpiLC differentiation assays identified novel primordial germ cell(PGC)-inducing factors including BEN-domain(BEND/Bend)family members.Through RNA-seq,ChIP-seq,and ATAC-seq analyses,we showed that Bend5 worked together with Bend4 and helped mark chromatin boundaries to promote EpiLC induction in vitro.Our findings suggest that BEND/Bend proteins represent a new family of transcriptional modulators and chromatin boundary factors that participate in gene expression regulation during early germline development.Guang Shi Yaofu Bai Xiya Zhang Junfeng Su Junjie Pang Quanyuan He Pengguihang Zeng Junjun Ding Yuanyan Xiong Jingran Zhang Jingwen Wang Dan Liu Wenbin Ma Junjiu Huang Zhou Songyang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,10:1
6Aphasia hemiplegia with abdominal pain in a female pa-tient caused by Staphylococcus lugdunensis infection:a case report显示文摘Objective:to describe the clinical fea-tures of a case of infective endocarditis caused by Staph-ylococcus lugdunensis,followed by cerebral embolism,spleen embolism and tendon rupture.Methods:the clin-ical data of a 22-year-old female patient with aphasia hemiplegia and abdominal pain were collected.Relevant examinations such as routine blood test,myocardial en-zyme spectrum,electrocardiogram(ECG),cardiac color Doppler ultrasound,brain magnetic resonance,abdomi-nal computed tomography(CT)and blood culture were completed,and anti infection treatment was carried out according to the drug sensitivity test.Results:brain mag-netic resonance imaging(MRI)showed cerebral infarction in the left basal ganglia,cardiac color Doppler ultrasound showed mitral valve vegetation and abscess formation,and abdominal CT showed splenic infarction.After anti infection treatment,the patient’s condition gradually improved,but the patient had sudden arrhythmia in the recovery period.Color Doppler ultrasound showed rup-ture of the mitral tendinous cord and valve prolapse.The condition was improved after surgical treatment.Conclu-sion:the first manifestation of Staphylococcus lugdunen-sis infection is cerebral infarction,which is relatively rare in the clinic setting.The main manifestation of this case is aphasia hemiplegia with abdominal pain.Blood cul-ture and identification show Staphylococcus lugdunensis,which is rare in adolescent patients.The infection has a rapid onset,rapid progress and causes serious valve dam-age.Timely strain identification and drug sensitivity test are conducive to accurate diagnosis and treatment.Valve surgery is often necessary.Jingwen Cui Hanyu Dou Jun Chen Shangbin Xiong Jun Xuan Yi Bao 2021Journal of Translational Neuroscience2021,6,4:0
7One-step ethylene separation from ternary C_(2) hydrocarbon mixture with a robust zirconium metal-organic framework显示文摘One-step separation of high-purity ethylene(C_(2)H_(4))from C_(2) hydrocarbon mixture is critical but challenging because of the very similar molecular sizes and physical properties of C_(2)H_(4),ethane(C_(2)H_(6)),and acetylene(C_(2)H_(2)).Herein,we report a robust zirconium metal-organic framework(MOF)Zr-TCA(H3TCA=4,4',4'-tricarboxytriphenylamine)with suitable pore size(0.6 nm×0.7 nm)and pore environment for direct C_(2)H_(4) purification from C_(2)H_(4)/C_(2)H_(2)/C_(2)H_(6) gas-mixture.Computational studies indicate that the abundant oxygen atoms and non-polar phenyl rings created favorable pore environments for the preferential binding of C_(2)H_(2) and C_(2)H_(6) over C_(2)H_(4).As a result,Zr-TCA exhibits not only high C_(2)H_(6)(2.28 mmol·g^(-1))and C_(2)H_(2)(2.78 mmol·g^(-1))adsorption capacity but also excellent C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4)(2.72)and C_(2)H_(2)/C_(2)H_(4)(5.64)selectivity,surpassing most of one-step C_(2)H_(4) purification MOF materials.Dynamic breakthrough experiments confirm that Zr-TCA can produce high-purity C_(2)H_(4)(>99.9%)from a ternary gas mixture(1/9/90 C_(2)H_(2)/C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4))in a single step with a high C_(2)H_(4) productivity of 5.61 L·kg^(-1).Yuan Liu Hanting Xiong Jingwen Chen Shixia Chen Zhenyu Zhou Zheling Zeng Shuguang Deng Jun Wang 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,59,7:0
8Phenotype Analysis and Fine Mapping of the Male Sterile Mutant ms10 in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘There is a positive correlation between fertility and yield,and the decrease of fertility is bound to a greatly reduced crop yield.Male sterile mutants can be used in hybrid rice.Therefore,rice male sterility has an important value in research and application,and the study of related mutants is also very vital.The mutant ms10(male sterile 10)reported in this study was induced by ethyl methane sulfonate(EMS)in the indica maintainer line Xinong 1B.There was no significant difference between the ms10 and wild type in the vegetative growth stage.However,in the reproductive growth stage,ms10 showed that the plant became shorter,the anther became smaller and the color became lighter,and finally showed the phenotype of male sterility in comparison to the wild type.I2-KI staining showed that the pollen was malformed and only a little was active.Scanning electron microscopy observation showed that the exine waxy layer of the ms10 anther decreased,suggesting that the protective effect on pollen was decreased.This may be one of the reasons leading to the phenotype of male sterility.Finally,the pollen showed shrinkage and collapsed,and the structure of germinating pore cover disappeared.This may be the result of sterility.Genetic analysis showed that the male sterility phenotype of the mutant was controlled by a single recessive nuclear gene.MS10 was mapped between the molecular markers IND37 and IND51 on chromosome 4,with a physical distance of 178.6 kb.These results lay the foundation for further studies on MS10.Gang Wei Hongxia Yang Jingwen Wu Zixian Xiong Nan Wang 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,3:0
9Identification of the Diterpenoids Produced by Endophytic Fungus of Torreya fargesii and Its Inhibitory Effect on Hela Cells显示文摘[Objectives] The purpose of this study is to dissociate endophytic fungus producing diterpenoids from Torreya fargesii tissue and examines its inhibiting effect on tumor cells. [Methods]Plant endophytes were isolated and purified to study their resistance to Gram-positive( G+) and Gram-negative bacteria( G-). High performance liquid chromatography( HPLC) was used for analysis of the retention time,relative peak area and percentage content of its metabolite. By liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry( HPLC-MS),the material characteristic of the ion pair information of the metabolites was measured. The bacterial strain was also classified. [Results] The results showed that the secondary metabolites produced by the strain BP6 T3 possessed double resistance to G+and G-bacteria. The strain was identified as Penicillium sp by preliminary classification. Through HPLC analysis,the retention time of fermentation extracts was 12. 8 min with almost the same as the standard of taxol. According to the chromatograph,the relative peak area was 12 887. 11,the average relative percentage was about 15. 8%,and the content of taxol analogs in fermentation broth reached 16. 59 mg/L. The material characteristic of the formation of ion fragments of taxane analogues in metabolic extracts was identical to that of the taxol standard determined by HPLC-MS. It can be initially determined that strain BP6 T3 can produce taxane compounds. Taxol substance produced by this strain had obvious inhibitory effect on Hela cells with the concentration increasing. Different precursors had a significant effect on the production of paclitaxel metabolites in this strain. L-phenylalanine was used as the precursor and the yield increased most,with an increase rate of 425. 7%. 14Heating of multi-species upflowing ion beams observed by Cluster on March 28, 2001显示文摘Cluster satellites observed three successive outflowing ion beams on 28 March, 2001. It is generally accepted that these ion beams, composed of H^+, He^+, and O^+ ions, with three inverted-V structures in their energy spectra, are produced by acceleration through U-shaped potential structures. By eliminating the background ion population and employing Maxwelling fitting, we find that ions coming from the center of the potential structure have higher temperature than those from the flanks. Higher temperature of O^+ and He+compared to that of H^+ indicates that heavy ions are preferentially heated; we further infer that the heating efficiencies of O^+ and He^+ ions differ between the center and edges of the U-shaped potential structures. 15Isogeometric Least-Squares Collocation Method with Consistency and Convergence Analysis显示文摘This paper presents the isogeometric least-squares collocatio method,which determines the numerical solution by making the approximate differential operator fit the real differential operator in a least-squares sense.The number of collocation points employed in IGA-L can be larger than that of the unknowns.Theoretical analysis and numerical examples presented in this paper show the superiority of IGA-L over state-of-the-art collocation methods.First,a small increase in the number of collocation points in IGA-L leads to a large improvement in the accuracy of its numerical solution.Second,IGA-L method is more flexible and more stable,because the number of collocation points in IGA-L is variable.Third,IGA-L is convergent in some cases of singular parameterization.Moreover,the consistency and convergence analysis are also developed in this paper.LIN Hongwei XIONG Yunyang WANG Xiao HU Qianqian REN Jingwen 2020Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2020,33,5:0
