1Rational design of MoS_(2) nanosheets decorated on mesoporous hollow carbon spheres as a dual-functional accelerator in sulfur cathode for advanced pouch-type Li–S batteries显示文摘Developing sulfur cathodes with high catalytic activity on accelerating the sluggish redox kinetics of lithium polysulfides(Li PSs) and unveiling their mechanisms are pivotal for advanced lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries. Herein, MoS2 is verified to reduce the Gibbs free energy for rate-limiting step of sulfur reduction and the dissociation energy of lithium sulfide(Li2 S) for the first time employing theoretical calculations. The Mo S2 nanosheets coated on mesoporous hollow carbon spheres(MHCS) are then reasonably designed as a sulfur host for high-capacity and long-life Li–S battery, in which MHCS can guarantee the high sulfur loading and fast electron/ion transfer. It is revealed that the shuttle effect is efficiently inhibited because of the boosted conversion of Li PSs. As a result, the coin cell based on the MHCS@Mo S2-S cathode exhibits stable cycling performance maintaining 735.7 mAh g^(-1) after 500 cycles at 1.0 C. More importantly, the pouch cell employing the MHCS@Mo S2-S cathodes achieves high specific capacity of1353.2 m Ah g^(-1) and prominent cycle stability that remaining 960.0 m Ah g^(-1) with extraordinary capacity retention of 79.8% at 0.1 C after 170 cycles. 14Organic polystyrene and inorganic silica double shell protected lead halide perovskite nanocrystals with high emission efficiency and superior stability显示文摘The practical application of all-inorganic semiconductor lead halide perovskite nanocrystals(LHP NCs)has been limited by their poor stability.Recently,a lot of research on core-shell structure has been done to improve the stability of perovskite NCs,but the effect was far from the application requirements.Herein,we,for the first time,report a convenient approach to synthesize organic-inorganic double shell CsPbBr_(3)@SiO_(2)@polystyrene(PS)NCs with an inter-core of CsPbBr_(3),the intermediate layer of SiO_(2)shell,and outmost PS shell.Particularly,the CsPbBr_(3)@SiO_(2)@PS NCs maintained more than 90%of their initial photoluminescence(PL)intensity under one month's ultraviolet lamp irradiation or in 85℃ and 85%relative humidity(RH)condition.The white-light-emitting-diodes(WLEDs)were fabricated by encapsulating commercial InGaN chip with CsPbBr_(3)@SiO_(2)@PS NCs and K2SiF6:Mn^(4+)(KSF:Mn^(4+))phosphor with a luminous efficacy of~100 lm/W at 20 mA current and a color gamut of 128%of the National Television Standards Committee(NTSC)standard.In addition,these WLEDs still maintain 91%of the initial luminous efficacy after 1200 h of continuous lighting.These results demonstrated that double shell-protected CsPbBr_(3)perovskite NCs have great potential in the field of WLEDs.Shujian Wang Dejian Chen Kunyuan Xu Jie Hu Decai Huang Maochun Hong Haomiao Zhu 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:1
15Hollow structures as drug carriers:Recognition,response,and release显示文摘Hollow structures have demonstrated great potential in drug delivery owing to their privileged structure,such as high surface-to-volume ratio,low density,large cavities,and hierarchical pores.In this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of hollow structured materials applied in targeting recognition,smart response,and drug release,and we have addressed the possible chemical factors and reactions in these three processes.The advantages of hollow nanostructures are summarized as follows:hollow cavity contributes to large loading capacity;a tailored structure helps controllable drug release;variable compounds adapt to flexible application;surface modification facilitates smart responsive release.Especially,because the multiple physical barriers and chemical interactions can be induced by multishells,hollow multishelled structure is considered as a promising material with unique loading and releasing properties.Finally,we conclude this review with some perspectives on the future research and development of the hollow structures as drug carriers.Decai Zhao Nailiang Yang Lekai Xu Jiang Du Yang Yang Dan Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1
16Precursor chemistry towards highly efficient and phase-stable red emitting CsPbI_(3) perovskite nanocrystals显示文摘All-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals(CsPbX_(3),X=Cl,Br,I)have attracted considerable scientific and technological interest due to their precise bandgap tunability,high color purity and efficient luminescence.Nevertheless,their poor stability in harsh conditions such as moisture,ultraviolet(UV)light irradiation and high temperature,is a major obstacle for their further commercial applications.Herein,by simply using a new type of precursor,namely“HPbX_(3)”(X=Cl,Br,I),we can achieve the coordination equilibrium for Pb precursors during reaction and obtain high-quality perovskite nanocrystals with tremendously enhanced luminous efficiency and chemical stability based on hot-injection method.The prepared a-CsPbb nanocrystals exhibit an extremely high photoluminescence quantum yield of 96%and keep stable in air for more than two months without any post-synthesis treatment.Moreover,stability evaluations under UV light irradiation,water or thermal impact are also performed and the results show substantially improved stability of these nanocrystals as compared with the samples prepared using traditional Pbl_(2) as precursor.Through temperature-dependent(10-300 K)steady and transient spectral analysis combined with compositional measurements,it is revealed that the lower structural defect density,which is guaranteed by abundant halogen when using HPbX3 as precursor,is the most important reason for such performance enhancement.Dejian Chen Decai Huang Mingwei Yang Kunyuan Xu Jie Hu Sisi Liang Haomiao Zhu 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:0
17Engineering surface oxygen vacancy of mesoporous CeO_(2) nanosheets assembled microspheres for boosting solar-driven photocatalytic performance显示文摘Surface oxygen vacancy defects of mesoporous CeO_(2)nanosheets assembled microspheres(D-CeO_(2))are engineered by polymer precipitation,hydrothermal and surface hydrogenation strategies.The resultant D-CeO_(2)with a main pore diameter of 9.3 nm has a large specific surface area(~102.3 m^(2)/g)and high thermal stability.The mesoporous nanosheets assembled microsphere structure prevents the nanosheets from aggregation,which is beneficial to effective mass transfer and shortens the migration distance of charge carriers.After surface hydrogenation,the photoresponse extends to long wavelength region,combing with the band gap from 2.63 eV reduced to 2.39 eV.Under AM 1.5 G radiation,the photocatalytic degradation rate of tetracycline(TC)can be up to 99.99%,which is three times as high as that of pristine CeO_(2)microspheres.The excellent solar-driven photocatalytic performance can be attributed to the efficient surface oxygen vacancy engineering and the mesoporous nanosheets assembled microsphere structure,which narrows the band gap,shortens the migration distance of carriers,promotes the spatial separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs and favors mass transfer.The strategy provides new insights for fabricating other high-efficient oxide photocatalysts.Decai Yang Yachao Xu Kai Pan Chuanxin Yu Jiaxing Wu Mingxia Li Fan Yang Yang Qu Wei Zhou 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1:0
