| 1 | Impact of living mulch on soil C:N:P stoichiometry in orchards across China:A meta-analysis examining climatic,edaphic,and biotic dependency显示文摘The use of living mulch in orchards is a widely accepted management strategy for improving soil quality and enhancing tree productivity.Although the effects of living mulch on soil organic carbon(C)and nutrients have been previously investigated,changes in the stoichiometric ratios of C,soil total nitrogen(N),and soil total phosphorous(P)under different climatic,edaphic,and biotic conditions are currently unknown.These factors are important indicators of elemental balance associated with ecological interactions.In order to examine the effects of living mulch in orchards on soil C:N:P stoichiometry under different conditions,a meta-analysis was undertaken.The results showed that in general,living mulch significantly(P<0.05)increased C:P and N:P ratio,while the impact on C:N ratio was not significant,a result that was related to the coupled increase of C and N.Phosphorous limitation occurred shortly after the addition of living mulch;after four years this effect receded.In contrast,an increase in C occurred simultaneously with N increase at all stages.Specifically,the treatment effect was context-dependent.The living mulch did not change soil stoichiometry in orchards with old trees(>10 years),an occurrence which may be related to changes in the amount of fungi.Grass life history also had a significant influence on the treatment effect on soil stoichiometry,while N-fixing characteristics did not.The treatment effect was significant in areas with moderate mean annual temperature and mean annual precipitation,which might be related to the litter ratio of grass and trees.Effects on stoichiometric ratios were significant in the top soil layer(0–20 cm),in contrast to the deep soil layers.Therefore,grass species and management practices,such as fertilization,should be selected according to the specific soil and climatic conditions of the management area. | Guo CHEN Shibin LIU Yangzhou XIANG Xiaolu TANG Haitao LIU Bin YAO Xuqiang LUO | 2020 | Pedosphere2020,30,2: | 7 |
| 2 | Investigation of carbon fiber composite stiffened skin with vacuum assisted resin infusion/prepreg co-curing process显示文摘Co-cured vacuum assisted resin infusion process(co-VARI process),which combined vacuum assisted resin infusion(VARI)with prepreg vacuum bag only process(VBO),was adopted to fabricate T-shaped stiffened skin with non-crimp fabric(NCF)stiffener and prepreg skin.During compaction stage of co-VARI process,prepreg resin impregnated fiber fabric under elevated temperature and vacuum pressure.This phenomenon was characterized by fluorescent micrographs with different holding temperature and time.Its influences on processing quality and mechanical performance for co-VARI stiffened skin with different filler materials at triangular region were further analyzed by optical micrographs and pull-off test,respectively.The results show that increasing holding temperature and prolonging holding time can promote prepreg resin impregnation in fiber fabric.Moderate prepreg resin impregnation is favorable to reduce resin rich region and increase fiber volume fraction at prepreg-fabric interface.Moreover,prepreg resin impregnation effect plays significant roles on pull-off performance for co-VARI stiffened skin with fabric filler but has negligible influences on specimens with prepreg filler.In addition,compared with stiffened skin with fabric filler,superior processing quality and pull-off performances are achieved for co-VARI stiffened skin with prepreg core filler.These results are helpful to optimize processing procedures and fabricate composite structure by coVARI process. | MA XuQiang GU YiZhuo LI Min LI YanXia ZHANG ZuoGuang | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,10: | 6 |
| 3 | Exploitation of methane in the hydrate by use of carbon dioxide in the presence of sodium chloride显示文摘The replacement process of CH4 from CH4 hydrate formed in NaCl solution by using pressurized CO2 was investigated with a self-designed device at temperatures of 271.05,273.15 and 275.05 K and a constant pressure of 3.30 MPa.The mass fraction of the NaCl solution was either 0.5 wt% or 1.0 wt%.The effects of temperature and concentration of NaCl solution on the replacement process were investigated.Experimental results showed that high temperature was favorable to the replacement reaction but high NaCl concentration had a negative effect on the replacement process.Based on the experimental data,kinetic models of CH4 hydrate decomposition and CO2 hydrate formation in NaCl solution were established.The calculated activation energies suggested that both CH4 hydrate decomposition and CO2 hydrate formation are dominated by diffusion in the hydrate phase. | Zunzhao Li Xuqiang Guo Lanying Yang Xiaona Ma | 2009 | Petroleum Science2009,6,4: | 5 |
| 4 | Development of acoustic liner in aero engine: A review显示文摘Noise reduction for aircraft engine has attracted great concern due to the strict noise control regulation nowadays. Conventional perforated sheet-over-honeycomb acoustic liners have been widely used to attenuate turbofan engine noise. To dampen the broadband noise and resist the harsh service conditions with high temperature and pressure in modern turbofan engine,new acoustic liner concepts are proposed and evaluated in the latest decade. In this review,available studies regarding the recent development of liners are gathered. The paper starts with the introduction of acoustic absorption mechanism of local-reacting and extended-reacting liners. The progress of novel passive liners(e.g.,mesh-cap liner,variable-depth liner,metal foam liner,hybrid liner,etc.) is summarized. Furthermore,adaptive liners with tunable geometry dimension or bias flow are illustrated in details.Metamaterial is also mentioned as a hot candidate in the next generation of acoustic liners. | 5 | Identification of key gene networks controlling organic acid and sugar metabolism during watermelon fruit development by integrating metabolic phenotypes and gene expression profiles显示文摘The organoleptic qualities of watermelon fruit are defined by the sugar and organic acid contents,which undergo considerable variations during development and maturation.The molecular mechanisms underlying these variations remain unclear.In this study,we used transcriptome profiles to investigate the coexpression patterns of gene networks associated with sugar and organic acid metabolism.We identified 3 gene networks/modules containing 2443 genes highly correlated with sugars and organic acids.Within these modules,based on intramodular significance and Reverse Transcription Quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR),we identified 7 genes involved in the metabolism of sugars and organic acids.Among these genes,Cla97C01G000640,Cla97C05G087120 and Cla97C01G018840(r^(2)=0.83 with glucose content)were identified as sugar transporters(SWEET,EDR6 and STP)and Cla97C03G064990(r^(2)=0.92 with sucrose content)was identified as a sucrose synthase from information available for other crops.Similarly,Cla97C07G128420,Cla97C03G068240 and Cla97C01G008870,having strong correlations with malic(r^(2)=0.75)and citric acid(r^(2)=0.85),were annotated as malate and citrate transporters(ALMT7,CS,and ICDH).The expression profiles of these 7 genes in diverse watermelon genotypes revealed consistent patterns of expression variation in various types of watermelon.These findings add significantly to our existing knowledge of sugar and organic acid metabolism in watermelon. | Muhammad Jawad Umer Luqman Bin Safdar Haileslassie Gebremeskel Shengjie Zhao Pingli Yuan Hongju Zhu M.O.Kaseb Muhammad Anees Xuqiang Lu Nan He Chengsheng Gong Wenge Liu | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 4 |
| 6 | The combination of 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluorborate with TBAB or THF on CO2 hydrate formation and CH4 separation from biogas显示文摘[C_8min] BF_4 was used in this work to combine with TBAB or THF for the investigation about thermodynamic and kinetic additives on CO_2 and CH_4/CO_2 hydrates. The results show that [C_8min] BF_4 has the inhibition effect on the equilibrium of hydrate formation. About the kinetic study, [C_8 min] BF_4 could improve the rate of CO_2 hydrate formation and increase the gas uptake in hydrate phase. At the same time, the combination of TBAB and [C8 min] BF_4 could increase the mole friction of CH_4 in residual gas comparing with the data in THF solution. CH_4 separation efficiency was strongly enhanced. Since that the size of CO_2 and CH_4 molecules are similar, CH_4 and CO_2 could form the similar hydrate, so the recovery of CH_4 from biogas decreases lightly. The CH_4 content in biogas can purified from 67 mol% to 77 mol% after one-stage hydrate formation. | 7 | Experimental study of separation of ammonia synthesis vent gas by hydrate formation显示文摘Termodynamic data on methane hydrate formation in the presence of ammonia are very important for upgrading of ammonia synthesis vent gas using hydrate formation. This paper is focused on the formation conditions of methane hydrate in the presence of ammonia and the effects of gas-liquid ratio and temperature on the separation of vent gas by hydrate formation. Equilibrium data for methane hydrate within an ammonia mole concentration range from 1% to 5 % were obtained. The experimental results indicated that ammonia has an inhibitive effect on hydrate formation. The higher the ammonia concentration, the higher is the pressure reguired for methane hydrate formation would be. | 9 | Antrodia cinnamomea exerts an anti-hepatoma effect by targeting PI3K/AKT-mediated cell cycle progression in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Antrodia cinnamomea is extensively used as a traditional medicine to prevention and treatment of liver cancer.However,its comprehensive chemical fingerprint is uncertain,and the mechanisms,especially the potential therapeutic target for anti-hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)are still unclear.Using UPLC-Q-TOF/MS,139 chemical components were identified in A.cinnamomea dropping pills(ACDPs).Based on these chemical components,network pharmacology demonstrated that the targets of active components were significantly enriched in the pathways in cancer,which were closely related with cell proliferation regulation.Next,HCC data was downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus database(GEO).The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)and Dis Ge NET were analyzed by bioinformatics,and 79 biomarkers were obtained.Furtherly,nine targets of ACDP active components were revealed,and they were significantly enriched in PI3 K/AKT and cell cycle signaling pathways.The affinity between these targets and their corresponding active ingredients was predicted by molecular docking.Finally,in vivo and in vitro experiments showed that ACDPs could reduce the activity of PI3 K/AKT signaling pathway and downregulate the expression of cell cycle-related proteins,contributing to the decreased growth of liver cancer.Altogether,PI3 K/AKT-cell cycle appears as the significant central node in anti-liver cancer of A.Cinnamomea. | Yan Zhang Pin Lv Junmei Ma Ning Chen Huishan Guo Yan Chen Xiaoruo Gan Rong Wang Xuqiang Liu Sufang Fan Bin Cong Wenyi Kang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2: | 2 |
