| 1 | Efficient catalytic conversion of jatropha oil to high grade biofuel on Ni-Mo_(2)C/MCM-41 catalysts with tuned surface properties显示文摘The activity of Mo_(2) C-based catalyst on vegetable oil conversion into biofuel could be greatedly promoted by tuning the carbon content,while its modification mechanism on the surface properties remained elusive.Herein,the exposed active sites,the particle size and Lewis acid amount of Ni-Mo_(2) C/MCM-41 catalysts were regulated by varying CH_(4) content in carbonization gas.The activity of Ni-Mo_(2) C/MCM-41 catalysts in jatropha oil(JO)conversion showed a volcano-like trend over the catalysts with increasing CH_(4) content from 15%to 50%in the preparation process.The one prepared by 25%CH_(4) content(NiMo_(2) C(25)/MCM-41)exhibited the outstanding catalytic performance with 83.9 wt%biofuel yield and95.2%C_(15)-C_(18) selectivity.Such a variation of activity was ascribed to the most exposed active sites,the smallest particle size,and the lowest Lewis acid amount from Ni^(0) on the Ni-Mo_(2) C(25)/MCM-41 catalyst surface.Moreover,the Ni-Mo_(2) C(25)/MCM-41 catalyst could also effectively catalyze the conversion of crude waste cooking oil(WCO)into green diesel.This study offers an effective strategy to improve catalytic performance of molybdenum carbide catalyst on vegetable oil conversion. | Xiangze Du Keyao Zhou Linyuan Zhou Xiaomei Lei Huiru Yang Dan Li Changwei Hu | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10: | 2 |
| 2 | Finite-time Feedback Stabilization of a Class of Input-delay Systems With Saturating Actuators via Digital Control显示文摘In this paper, the problem of making an input-delay system with saturating actuators finite-time stable by virtue of digital control is investigated. A digital state feedback controller and digital observer-controller compensator are designed for two cases: when the state of the input-delay system are available or when it is unavailable. Sufficient conditions which guarantee finite-time stability of a closed-loop input-delay system are given and the proof procedure is presented in a heuristic way by constructing appropriate comparison functions. The condition can be transformed into the intersection of two curves satisfying some constraints, which reveals the relationship between designed parameters clearly. | 11 | Molybdenum carbide as catalyst in biomass derivatives conversion显示文摘The present energy dilemma in conjunction with the adverse environmental impacts caused by fossil fuel combustion motivates researchers to seek for new renewable energy with minimal CO_(2)footprint.As a practice pathway,it is of significance to produce biofuel and platform chemicals from sustainable biomass resources.However,the research and development of high-efficiency catalysts remain one key scientific challenge.Among the catalysts developed,transition metal carbides,especially molybdenum carbide,show promising performances on biomass-based conversion.Significant efforts have been made in past few decades on tuning the structure and electronic property of molybdenum carbide via controlling particle size and morphology,metal and nonmetal doping and vacancies,etc.The review summarizes recent developments of molybdenum carbide as catalysts in converting biomass into fuel,mainly focused on the preparation methods,the structure-dependent effects and the electronic modulation.The controllable selective cleavage of C-C,C-O and C-H bonds over modified molybdenum carbides that has been demonstrated in the conversion of biomass feedstocks is then highlighted.In addition,the possible deactivation mechanisms of molybdenum carbide are also presented in the review.This review provides systematic and fundamental information for the further design and development of molybdenum carbide for the conversion of biomass resources. | Xiangze Du Rui Zhang Dan Li Changwei Hu Hermenegildo Garcia | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10: | 0 |
| 12 | Control Effect of UAV Low Volume Spray Technology on Thrips and Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus in Tobacco Field显示文摘[Objectives]The paper was to explore the influence of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)low volume spray technology on the control effect of viruliferous thrips and tomato spotted wilt virus(TSWV)under different pesticide concentrations,and to explore the effective control nodes and methods of thrips and TSWV.[Methods]According to the occurrence characteristics of thrips and TSWV,the field control effects of 4 pesticides on thrips and TSWV were tested by UAV with the thrips number and disease index as indicators,following the principle of regional and periodic control trials.[Results]In the groups of UAV and artificial prevention and control,4 agents were used alternatively,including 1%emamectin benzoate ME,1.7%abamectin imidacloprid ME,5%emamectin benzoate WDG,and 30%pyriproxyfen dinotefuran SL.There was no significant difference in the control effect of thrips and TSWV among treatment 1(recommended dosage of UAV agent),treatment 2(reduction of recommended dosage of UAV agent by 25%)and treatment 4(recommended dosage of artificial control agent),and the control effects on thrips were more than 83.16%in the 3 treatments.The disease index of TSWV in the 3 treatments decreased from 8.64±1.37 in the blank control group to less than 3,which reached the prevention and control threshold.But treatment 3(reduction of recommended dosage of UAV agent by 50%)did not reach the prevention and control threshold.The disease index of TSWV in the blank control area increased with the increase of the number of live nymphs of thrips,and there was a significant positive correlation,with good fitness.[Conclusions]UAV has a significant impact on the control effect of thrips and TSWV under different pesticide concentrations.In the actual flight control application,it is recommended that the amount of the pesticides is about 3/4 and not less than 1/2 of that of the artificial application.The control area should be extended to 100 m of the ridge of the tobacco field,and UAV is used periodically to control thrips and TSWV for 5 times from pre-transplanting stage to pre-squaring stage of flue-cured tobacco.The control effect is significantly different from the traditional artificial application. | Zefan LIU Dean XIE Jiabao HAN Yanfen XIE Li MA Siyuan GAO Ruiqi PENG Yuting ZHAO Xiangze FU Wengang CHENG Yonghong FENG Yan ZHANG Huaping ZHANG Ying HUANG Leijie DAI Lanfeng WANG | 2023 | Plant Diseases and Pests2023,14,4: | 0 |
| 13 | Converting intercalation-type cathode in spent lithium-ion batteries into conversion-type cathode显示文摘The widespread applications of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)generate tons of spent LIBs.Therefore,recycling LIBs is of paramount importance in protecting the environment and saving the resources.Current commercialized LIBs mostly adopt layered oxides such as LiCoO_(2)(LCO)or LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)(NMC)as the cathode materials.Converting the intercalation-type spent oxides into conversion-type cathodes(such as metal fluorides(MFs))offers a valid recycling strategy and provides substantially improved energy densities for LIBs.Herein,two typical Co-based cathodes,LCO and LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC622),in spent LIBs were successfully converted to CoF_(2) and(Ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z))F_(2) cathodes by a reduction and fluorination technique.The as converted CoF_(2) and(Ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z))F_(2) delivered cell energy densities of 650 and 700 Wh/kg,respectively.Advanced atomic-level electron microscopy revealed that the used LCO and NMC622 were converted to highly phase pure Co metal and Ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2) alloys in the used graphite-assisted reduction roasting,simultaneously producing the important product of Li_(2)CO_(3) using only environment friendly solvent.Our study provided a versatile strategy to convert the intercalation-type Co-based cathode in the spent LIBs into conversion-type MFs cathodes,which offers a new avenue to recycle the spent LIBs and substantially increase the energy densities of next generation LIBs. | Dingding Zhu Yong Su Jingzhao Chen Xiangze Ou Xuedong Zhang Wen Xie Yuyan Zhou Yunna Guo Qiushi Dai Peng Jia Jitong Yan Lin Geng Baiyu Guo Liqiang Zhang Yongfu Tang Qiao Huang Jianyu Huang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,5: | 0 |

| 16 | Lithium-Ion Charged Polymer Channels Flattening Lithium Metal Anode显示文摘The concentration difference in the near-surface region of lithium metal is the main cause of lithium dendrite growth.Resolving this issue will be key to achieving high-performance lithium metal batteries(LMBs).Herein,we construct a lithium nitrate(LiNO_(3))-implanted electroactiveβphase polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene(PVDF-HFP)crystalline polymorph layer(PHL).The electronegatively charged polymer chains attain lithium ions on the surface to form lithium-ion charged channels.These channels act as reservoirs to sustainably release Li ions to recompense the ionic flux of electrolytes,decreasing the growth of lithium dendrites.The stretched molecular channels can also accelerate the transport of Li ions.The combined effects enable a high Coulombic efficiency of 97.0%for 250 cycles in lithium(Li)||copper(Cu)cell and a stable symmetric plating/stripping behavior over 2000 h at 3 mA cm^(-2)with ultrahigh Li utilization of 50%.Furthermore,the full cell coupled with PHL-Cu@Li anode and Li Fe PO_(4) cathode exhibits long-term cycle stability with high-capacity retention of 95.9%after 900 cycles.Impressively,the full cell paired with LiNi_(0.87)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.03)O_(2)maintains a discharge capacity of 170.0 mAh g^(-1)with a capacity retention of 84.3%after 100 cycles even under harsh condition of ultralow N/P ratio of 0.83.This facile strategy will widen the potential application of LiNO_(3)in ester-based electrolyte for practical high-voltage LMBs. | Haofan Duan Yu You Gang Wang Xiangze Ou Jin Wen Qiao Huang Pengbo Lyu Yaru Liang Qingyu Li Jianyu Huang Yun‑Xiao Wang Hua‑Kun Liu Shi Xue Dou Wei‑Hong Lai | 2024 | Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,4: | 0 |
