| 3 | Starch/polyvinyl alcohol blended materials used as solid carbon source for tertiary denitrification of secondary efuent显示文摘Starch/polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) blended materials for using as a solid carbon source(SCS) were prepared by blending PVA and gelatinized starch in an aqueous solution system, in which PVA served as framework material and starch as carbon source. The optimization of starch content and temperature efects were investigated. It was indicated that higher denitrification efciency could be achieved with more starch in the materials. The average specific denitrification rates were 0.93, 0.66, 0.37 and 0.36 mg/(g·day)corresponding to starch content of 70%, 60%, 40% and 30% respectively at 37°C. The denitrification rates increased when operating temperature was raised from 23°C to 30°C and then 37°C. The mechanism of carbon release was analyzed incorporating the experimental results of abiotic release in deionized water. The organic carbon was mainly hydrolyzed by microbes, and the biological release efciencies were at the range of 89.2% to 96.0%. A long-term experiment with a continuous flow reactor with SCS material containing 70% starch was conducted to gain some experience for practical application. When the influent nitrate concentration was in the range of 35.2 to 39.1 mg/L, hydraulic retention time of 4 hr, and operating temperature of 30°C, a nitrogen removal efciency up to94.6% and denitrification rate of 0.217 kg/(m3·day) was achieved. | 6 | Confined spaces path following for cable-driven snake robots with prediction lookup and interpolation algorithms显示文摘While cable-driven snake robots are promising in exploring confined spaces, their hyper-redundancy makes the collision-free motion planning difficult. In this paper, by combining the prediction lookup and interpolation algorithms, we present a new path following method for cable-driven snake robots to high-efficiently slither into complex terrains along a desired path. In our method, we first discretize the desired path into points, and develop the prediction lookup algorithm to efficiently find the points matched with joints of the robot. According to geometric relations between the prediction lookup results and link length of the robot, we develop the interpolation algorithm to reduce the tracking errors caused by the discretization. Finally, simulations and experiments of inspections in two confined spaces including the obstacle array and pipe tank system are performed on our custom-built 25 degree of freedoms(DOFs) cable-driven snake robot. | 7 | Antibiotics-mediated intestinal microbiome perturbation aggravates tacrolimus-induced glucose disorders in mice显示文摘Both immunosuppressants and antibiotics (ABX) are indispensable for transplant patients. However, the former increases the risk of new-onset diabetes, whereas the latter impacts intestinal microbiota (IM). It is still unclear whether and how the interaction between immunosuppressants and ABX alters the IM and thus leads to glucose metabolism disorders. This study examined the alterations of glucose and lipid metabolism and IM in mice exposed to tacrolimus (TAC) with or without ABX. We found that ABX further aggravated TAC-induced glucose tolerance and increased insulin secretion. Combined treatment resulted in exacerbated lipid accumulation in the liver. TAC-altered microbial community was further amplified by ABX administration, as characterized by reductions in phylum Firmicutes, family Lachnospiraceae, and genus Copyococcus. Analyses based on the metagenomic profiles revealed that ABX augmented the effect of TAC on microbial metabolic function mostly related to lipid metabolism. The altered components of gut microbiome and predicted microbial functional profiles showed significant correlation with hepatic lipid accumulation and glucose disorders. In conclusion, ABX aggravated the effect of TAC on the microbiome and its metabolic capacities, which might contribute to hepatic lipid accumulation and glucose disorders. | 9 | Synthesis of 2-Isopropyl Naphthalene Catalyzed by Et_3NHCl-AlCl_3 Ionic Liquids显示文摘In this paper, 2-isopropyl naphthalene has been synthesized by the reaction of naphthalene and isopropyl bromide, using triethylamine hydrochloride-aluminum chloride ionic liquid as the catalyst. The effect of the catalyst composition, the reaction time, the reaction temperature, the ionic liquid dosage, as well as the molar ratio of the reagents on the 2-isopropyl naphthalene yield was systematically investigated. The optimal reaction conditions cover: an AlCl3 to Et3NHCl ratio of 2.0, a reaction time of 3 h, a reaction temperature of 15.0 ℃, a volume fraction of ionic liquid to the mixture(isopropyl bromide, n-dodecane and n-hexane) of 9%, and a naphthalene/isopropyl bromide molar ratio of 4.0. Under the optimal reaction conditions, the conversion of isopropyl bromide reached 98% and the selectivity of 2-isopropyl naphthalene was equal to 80%. The test results verified good catalytic activity upon using Et3NHCl-AlCl3 ionic liquid as the catalyst for alkylation of naphthalene with isopropyl bromide. | 10 | Operational-space wrench and acceleration capability analysis for multi-link cable-driven robots显示文摘Multi-link cable-driven robots(MCDRs)have potential advantages in confined spaces exploration because of their redundancy and flexibility.Operational space wrench and acceleration capability analysis of MCDRs is important for their design,manipulability optimization,and motion planning.However,existing works mainly focus on capability analysis in the joint space.In this paper,we present a zonotope-based iterative method and a simplified capability zonotope to analyze the operational-space wrench and acceleration capability of MCDRs.In the iterative method,the capability generated by some cables can be iteratively added to the initial capability zonotope based on the Minkowski sum.In the simplified zonotope capability representation,a threshold is put forward to reduce redundant vertices and faces with little volume loss.Finally,simulations on a 24 DOFs MCDR are performed to verify the effectiveness of the developed method.The results demonstrate that our iterative algorithm can easily generate the capability zonotope with a few MB ROM,while traditional operational wrench capability evaluation without our iterative algorithm needs 18432 GB ROM.Furthermore,our simplified representation reduces the vertices and faces from 1260 and 2516 to 88 and 172,respectively,but with only 3.3%volume loss,which decreases the constraints of the robot and is conducive to manipulability optimization and motion planning. | SHENG XinJun TANG Lei HUANG XinJia ZHU LiMin ZHU XiangYang GU GuoYing | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,10: | 1 |
