1Biological effect of rare-earth elements on anti-oxidation enzymes in wheat under acid rain stress显示文摘Based on pot-culture experiments, the biological effect of rare-earth elements (REE) on antioxidation enzymes of wheat under acid rain stress was studied. The results show that both acid rain and REE can affect the activity of anti-oxidation enzymes of wheat to different extents. Under the acid rain stress, anti-oxidation enzymes (CAT, SOD) of wheat showed single peak curve with the decrease of pH values. After REE were applled, variation of activities of anti-oxidation enzymes was relatively stable and the peak value of variation curve would move in the direction of increased acidity. Under low acidity of acid rain, REE could reduce the sensitivity of anti-oxidation enzymes of wheat to acid rain stress significantly and promote the resistance of anti-oxidation enzymes of wheat to acid rain.Chongling Yan Yetang Hong Xianke Yang Shunzhen Fu Shanyi Wu 1999Chinese Science Bulletin1999,44,2:5
2Restored relationship between ENSO andIndian summermonsoon rainfall around 1999/2000显示文摘El Niño–Southern Oscillation(ENSO)was identified as the dominant predictor for the Indian summer monsoon rainfall(ISMR)in the early 1900s.An apparent weakening of the ENSO–ISMR relationship has been observed since the 1970s.Here,we found a clear restoration of the ENSO–ISMR relationship since 1999/2000.This restoring relationship is closely linked to the interdecadal transition of ENSO evolution and the associated sea surface temperature anomalies(SSTAs)over the tropical Atlantic.During 1979–1997,summer ENSO events mainly continued from the previous winter,which can drive apparent Atlantic Niña SSTAs to offset ENSO's impact on ISMR and weaken the ENSO–ISMR relationship.In contrast,when ENSO events newly emerge from late spring,as they have done more recently during 2000–2018,the associated tropical Atlantic SSTAs are weak and shift to the tropical North Atlantic,which can offset the contribution of Atlantic Niña and reinforce the ENSO–ISMR relationship.We identified that the diversity of ENSO's evolution,continuing from the previous winter or emerging from late spring,is the dominant factor perturbing the ENSO–ISMR relationship in recent epochs,with tropical Atlantic SSTAs as the crucial bridge.This finding should be considered in our efforts to improve ISMR prediction.Xianke Yang Ping Huang 2021The Innovation2021,2,2:4
3Analysis of Evolution Trend of Water Resources Based on Spearman and R/S methods:A Case Study of Agricultural Water Source in Jinghui Irrigation Area显示文摘Based on the monitoring data of precipitation and runoff series from 1953 to 2013 and groundwater exploitation from 1977 to 2013 in Jinghui Irrigation Area,especially the evolution of water resources during the growth period of main crops,the trend test of precipitation and runoff series was carried out by using Spearman rank correlation test and R/S analysis.The results showed that the annual mean precipitation and runoff and the growth period of main crops showed a downward trend,and the changes in the future were similar to those in the past;the amount of groundwater exploitation has not changed much,which is about 150 million m^3.The research results can provide scientific basis for efficient utilization and reasonable allocation of water resources in irrigation area,and provide technical support for the development of modern agriculture.ZHANG Panpan ZHANG Xianke 2020Journal of Landscape Research2020,12,3:4

5Lifetime and Aging Degradation Prognostics for Lithium-ion Battery Packs Based on a Cell to Pack Method显示文摘Aging diagnosis of batteries is essential to ensure that the energy storage systems operate within a safe region.This paper proposes a novel cell to pack health and lifetime prognostics method based on the combination of transferred deep learning and Gaussian process regression.General health indicators are extracted from the partial discharge process.The sequential degradation model of the health indicator is developed based on a deep learning framework and is migrated for the battery pack degradation prediction.The future degraded capacities of both battery pack and each battery cell are probabilistically predicted to provide a comprehensive lifetime prognostic.Besides,only a few separate battery cells in the source domain and early data of battery packs in the target domain are needed for model construction.Experimental results show that the lifetime prediction errors are less than 25 cycles for the battery pack,even with only 50 cycles for model fine-tuning,which can save about 90%time for the aging experiment.Thus,it largely reduces the time and labor for battery pack investigation.The predicted capacity trends of the battery cells connected in the battery pack accurately reflect the actual degradation of each battery cell,which can reveal the weakest cell for maintenance in advance.Yunhong Che Zhongwei Deng Xiaolin Tang Xianke Lin Xianghong Nie Xiaosong Hu 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,1:3

13Joint Estimation of Inconsistency and State of Health for Series Battery Packs显示文摘Battery packs are applied in various areas(e.g.,electric vehicles,energy storage,space,mining,etc.),which requires the state of health(SOH)to be accurately estimated.Inconsistency,also known as cell variation,is considered a significant evaluation index that greatly affects the degradation of battery pack.This paper proposes a novel joint inconsistency and SOH estimation method under cycling,which fills the gap of joint estimation based on the fast-charging process for electric vehicles.First,fifteen features are extracted from current change points during the partial charging process.Then,a joint estimation system is designed,where fusion weights are obtained by the analytic hierarchy process and multi-scale sample entropy to evaluate inconsistency.A wrapper is used to select the optimal feature subset,and Gaussian process regression is implemented to estimate the SOH.Finally,the estimation performance is assessed by the test data.The results show that the inconsistency evaluation can reflect the aging conditions,and the inconsistency does affect the aging process.The wrapper selection method improves the accuracy of SOH estimation by about 75.8%compared to the traditional filter method when only 10%of data is used for model training.The maximum absolute error and root mean square error are 2.58%and 0.93%,respectively.Yunhong Che Aoife Foley Moustafa El‑Gindy Xianke Lin Xiaosong Hu Michael Pecht 2021Automotive Innovation2021,4,1:1
143D Printing of Nacre-Inspired Structures with Exceptional Mechanical and Flame-Retardant Properties显示文摘Flame-retardant and thermal management structures have attracted great attention duc to the requirement of high-temperature exposure in industrial,aerospace,and thermal power fields,but the development of protoctive fire-retardant structures with complex shapes to fit arbitrary surfaces is still challenging.Herein,we reported a rotation-blade casting-assisted 3D printing process to fabricate nacre-inspired structures with exceptional mechanical and flame-retardant properties,and the relatedi fundamental mechanisms are studied.3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate(TMSPMA)modified boron nitride nanoplatelets(BNs)were aligned by rotation-blade casting during the 3D printing process to build the'hrick and mortar'architecture.The 3D printed structures are more lightweight,while having higher fracture toughness than the natural nacre,which is attributed to the crack deflection,aligned BN(a-BNs)bridging,and pull-outs reinforced structures by the covalent bonding between TMSPMA grafted a-BNs and polymer matrix.Thermal conductivity is enhanced by 25.5 times compared with pure polymer and 5.8 times of anisotropy due to the interconnection of a-BNs.3D printed heat-exchange structures with vertically aligned BNs in complex shapes were demonstrated for efficient thermal control of high-power light-emitting diocles.3D printed helmet and armor with a-BNs show exceptional mechanical and fire-retardant properties,demonstrating integrated mechanical and thermal protection.Yang Yang Ziyu Wang Qingqing He Xiangjia Li Gengxi Lu Laiming Jjiang Yushun Zeng Brandon Bethers Jie Jin Shuang Lin Siqi Xiao Yizhen Zhu Xianke Wu Wenwu Xu Qiming Wang Yong Chen 2022Research2022,,2:1
