1Evaluation of Cloud Vertical Structure Simulated by Recent BCC_AGCM Versions through Comparison With CALIPSO-GOCCP Data显示文摘The abilities of BCC AGCM2.1 and BCC AGCM2.2 to simulate the annual-mean cloud vertical structure(CVS) were evaluated through comparison with GCM-Oriented CALIPSO Cloud Product(CALIPSO-GOCCP) data. BCC AGCM2.2has a dynamical core and physical processes that are consistent with BCC AGCM2.1, but has a higher horizontal resolution.Results showed that both BCC AGCM versions underestimated the global-mean total cloud cover(TCC), middle cloud cover(MCC) and low cloud cover(LCC), and that BCC AGCM2.2 underestimated the global-mean high cloud cover(HCC).The global-mean cloud cover shows a systematic decrease from BCC AGCM2.1 to BCC AGCM2.2, especially for HCC.Geographically, HCC is significantly overestimated in the tropics, particularly by BCC AGCM2.1, while LCC is generally overestimated over extra-tropical lands, but significantly underestimated over most of the oceans, especially for subtropical marine stratocumulus clouds.The leading EOF modes of CVS were extracted. The BCC AGCMs perform well in reproducing EOF1, but with a larger variance explained. The two models also capture the basic features of EOF3, except an obvious deficiency in eigenvector peaks. EOF2 has the largest simulation biases in both position and strength of eigenvector peaks. Furthermore, we investigated the effects of CVS on relative shortwave and longwave cloud radiative forcing(RSCRF and RLCRF). Both BCC AGCM versions successfully reproduce the sign of regression coefficients, except for RLCRF in PC1. However, the RSCRF relative contributions from PC1 and PC2 are overestimated, while the relative contribution from PC3 is underestimated in both BCC AGCM versions. 2Distribution of Microbial Populations and Their Relationship with Environmental Variables in the North Yellow Sea,China显示文摘In order to understand the large-scale spatial distribution characteristics of picoplankton,nanophytoplankton and virio-plankton and their relationship with environmental variables in coastal and offshore waters,flow cytometry(FCM) was used to ana-lyze microbial abundance of samples collected in summer from four depths at 36 stations in the North Yellow Sea(NYS).The data revealed spatial heterogeneity in microbial populations in the offshore and near-shore waters of the NYS during the summer.For the surface layer,picoeukaryotes were abundant in the near-shore waters,Synechococcus was abundant in the offshore areas,and bacte-rial and viral abundances were high in the near-shore waters around the Liaodong peninsula.In the near-shore waters,no significant vertical variation of picophytoplankton(0.2-2μm) abundance was found.However,the nanophytoplankton abundance was higher in the upper layers(from the surface to 10 m depth) than in the bottom layer.For the offshore waters,both pico-and nanophytoplankton(2-20μm) abundance decreased sharply with depth in the North Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass(NYSCWM).But,for the vertical dis-tribution of virus and bacteria abundance,no significant variation was observed in both near-shore and offshore waters.Autotrophic microbes were more sensitive to environmental change than heterotrophic microbes and viruses.Viruses showed a positive correla-tion with bacterial abundance,suggesting that the bacteriophage might be prominent for virioplankton(about 0.45μm) in summer in the NYS and that viral abundance might play an important role in microbial loop functions.BAI Xiaoge WANG Min LIANG Yantao ZHANG Zhifeng WANG Fang JIANG Xuejiao 2012Journal of Ocean University of China2012,11,1:5
3Thermophysical properties of Sm_2(Zr_(1-x)Ce_x)_2O_7 ceramics显示文摘Sm2(Zr1-xCex)2O7 (x=0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) ceramics were prepared by solid reaction method at 1600°C for 10 h using Sm2O3, ZrO2, and CeO2 as starting reactants. The phase compositions, microstructures, thermal expansion coefficients, and partial thermal conductivities of these materials were investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results reveal that Sm2(Zr0.9Ce0.1)2O7 with pyrochlore structure and Sm2(Zr1-xCex)2O7 (x=0.2 and 0.3) with fluorite structure were synthesized, and scanning electrical microscopy (SEM) images show that the microstructures of these products are very dense. The linear thermal expansion coefficients increase with increasing temperature in the temperature range from ambient to 1200°C, and the thermal expansion coefficients increase with increasing content of doped CeO2. The thermal conductivities of Sm2(Zr0.8Ce0.2)2O7 and Sm2(Zr0.7Ce0.3)2O7 decrease gradually with an increase in temperature. 4Mechanisms of Traditional Chinese Medicine Bushenantai granules(补肾安胎颗粒) in promoting angiogenesis at the maternal-fetal interface of recurrent spontaneous abortion mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the effects of Bushenantai(BSAT)granule(补肾安胎颗粒)on angiogenesis-related factors[E2,P,and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)]at the maternal-fetal interface of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA)mice,and to evaluate the role of BSAT in promoting angiogenesis at the maternal-fetal interface by influencing the expression of sex hormones,and VEGF.METHODS:A mouse model with normal pregnancy and another with Clark’s classic RSA were established.The RSA mice were randomly assigned to six groups:normal,model,progesterone,high-doseBSAT granule(BSAT-H),medium-dose-BSAT granule(BSAT-M),and low-dose-BSAT granule(BSAT-L)(n=10 for each group).The embryo loss rate and the histopathological changes in the decidual tissues were measured.Serum levels of estrogen(E2),progesterone(P),and VEGF were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The m RNA and protein expressions of estradiol receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),VEGF,and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR2)in the decidual tissues were identified by immunohistochemistry,Western blotting,and quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS:The embryo loss rate in all groups that received BSAT treatment was reduced,while the number of blood vessels at decidual tissues was increased.The serum levels of E2,P and VEGF were elevated,and the m RNA and protein expressions of ER,PR,VEGF,and VEGFR2 in the decidual tissues were enhanced.CONCLUSION:BSAT can improve angiogenesis at the maternal-fetal interface and reduce the embryo loss rate,which may be associated with its ability to increase the serum levels of estrogen,progesterone,and VEGF,in addition to up-regulation of m RNA and protein expression of ER,PR,VEGF,and VEGFR2 in the decidual tissues.LI Yuanqi LI Weili YU Xinhui WU Hua WANG Yuanzhong JIN Ya HAO Lele LIU Mingmin SONG Xiaoge 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,4:3

7Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of DNA demethylase family in cotton显示文摘Background:DNA methylation is an important epigenetic factor that maintains and regulates gene expression.The mode and level of DNA methylation depend on the roles of DNA methyltransferase and demethylase,while DNA demethylase plays a key role in the process of DNA demethylation.The results showed that the plant’s DNA demethylase all contained conserved DNA glycosidase domain.This study identified the cotton DNA demethylase gene family and analyzed it using bioinformatics methods to lay the foundation for further study of cotton demethylase gene function.Results:This study used genomic information from diploid Gossypium raimondii JGI(D),Gossypium arboreum L.CRI(A),Gossypium hirsutum L.JGI(AD1) and Gossypium barbadebse L NAU(AD2) to Arabidopsis thaliana.Using DNA demethylase genes sequence of Arabidopsis as reference,25 DNA demethylase genes were identified in cotton by BLAST analysis.There are 4 genes in the genome D,5 genes in the genome A,10 genes in the genome AD1,and 6 genes in the genome AD2.The gene structure and evolution were analyzed by bioinformatics,and the expression patterns of DNA demethylase gene family in Gossypium hirsutum L were analyzed.From the phylogenetic tree analysis,the DNA demethylase gene family of cotton can be divided into four subfamilies:REPRESSOR of SILENCING 1(ROS1),DEMETER(DME),DEMETER-LIKE 2(DML2),and DEMETER-LIKE3(DML3).The sequence similarity of DNA demethylase genes in the same species was higher,and the genetic relationship was also relatively close.Analysis of the gene structure revealed that the DNA demethylase gene family members of the four subfamilies varied greatly.Among them,the number of introns of ROS1 and DME subfamily was larger,and the gene structure was more complex.For the analysis of the conserved domain,it was known that the DNA demethylase family gene member has an endonuclease Ⅲ(END03 c) domain.Conclusion:The genes of the DNA demethylase family are distributed differently in different cotton species,and the gene structure is very different.High expression of ROS1 genes in cotton were under abiotic stress.The expression levels of ROS1 genes were higher during the formation of cotton ovule.The transcription levels of ROS1 family genes were higher during cotton fiber development.YANG Xiaomin LU Xuke CHEN Xiugui WANG Delong WANG Junjuan WANG Shuai GUO Lixue CHEN Chao WANG Xiaoge WANG Xinlei YE Wuwei 2019Journal of Cotton Research2019,2,3:3
8Ultrahigh rate capability of 1D/2D polyaniline/titanium carbide(MXene)nanohybrid for advanced asymmetric supercapacitors显示文摘High energy density and enhanced rate capability are highly sought-after for supercapacitors in today's mobile world.In this work,polyaniline/titanium carbide(MXene)(PANI/Ti3C2Tx)nanohybrid is synthesized through a facile and cost-effective self-assembly of.one-dimensional(10)PANI nanofibers and two-dimensional(20)Ti3C2Tx nanosheets.PANl!Ti3C2Tx delivers greatly improved specific capacitance,ultrahigh rate capability(67%capacitance retention from 1 to 100 A·g^(-1))as well as good cycle stability.Electrochemical kinetic analysis reveals that PANI/Ti3C2Tx is featured with surface capacitance-dominated process and has a quasi-reversible kinetics at high scan rates,giving rise to an ultrahigh rate capability.By using PANl!Ti3C2Tx as positive electrode,an 1.8 V aqueous asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC)is successfully assembled,showing a maximum energy density of 50.8 Wh·kg^(-1)·(at 0.9 kW-kg-1)and a power density of 18 kW·kg^(-1)(at 26 Wh·kg^(-1)).Moreover,an 3.0 V organic ASC is also elaborately fabricated,·by using PANI/Ti3C2Tx,achieving an ultrahigh energy density of 67.2 Wh·kg^(-1)(at 1.5 kW·kg^(-1))and a power density of 30 kW·kg^(-1)·(at 26.8 Wh·kg^(-1)).The present work not only improves fundamental understanding of the structure-property relationship towards ultrahigh rate capability electrode materials,but also provides valuable guideline for the rational design of high-performance:energy storage devices with both high energy and power densities.Jinhua Zhou Qi Kang Shuchi Xu Xiaoge Li Cong Liu Lu Ni Ningna Chen Chunliang Lu Xizhang Wang Luming Peng Xuefeng Guo Weiping Ding Wenhua Hou 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:2
964 Gb/s low-voltage waveguide SiGe avalanche photodiodes with distributed Bragg reflectors显示文摘We demonstrate low-voltage waveguide silicon-germanium avalanche photodiodes(APDs)integrated with distributed Bragg reflectors(DBRs).The internal quantum efficiency is improved from 60%to 90%at 1550 nm assisted with DBRs while still achieving a 25 GHz bandwidth.A low breakdown voltage of 10 V and a gain bandwidth product of near 500 GHz are obtained.APDs with DBRs at a data rate of 64 Gb/s pulse amplitude modulation with four levels(PAM4)show a 30%–40%increase in optical modulation amplitude(OMA)compared to APDs with no DBR.A sensitivity of around-13 d Bm at a data rate of 64 Gb/s PAM4 and a bit error rate of 2.4×10^-4 is realized for APDs with DBRs,which improves the sensitivity by^2 d B compared to APDs with no DBR.Binhao Wang Zhihong Huang Yuan Yuan Di Liang Xiaoge Zeng Marco Fiorentino Raymond G.Beausoleil 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:2

13Vulnerability Assessment of Snow Disaster Based on Traffic System:A Case Study of Chenzhou City in Hunan Province,China显示文摘The article establishes the patterns of urban snow disaster system and disaster chain based on the theory of regional disaster system. The patterns indicate that urban snow disaster is exacerbated mainly through the traffic system. In addition, the paper sets up the vulnerability assessment index system and synthetically vulnerability assessment model of urban snow disaster which are mainly based on traffic system, and applies them in Chenzhou City. The results of assessment indicate that obvious geographical differences exist in the vulnerability of snow disaster bearing bodies: vulnerability of Chenzhou section of the Beijing-Zhuhai expressway is the highest in Chenzhou City, and the southeastern counties are more vulnerable than the northwest region. Furthermore, according to the snow disaster vulnerability dynamic process analysis, the vulnerability of Chenzhou City obviously increased in 2008 winter compared with that in 2007. 17Enhanced N2O emission rate in field soil undergoing conventional intensive fertilization is attributed to the shifts of denitrifying guilds显示文摘The emission of greenhouse gas N2O in agricultural soil is modulated by N fertilization that could be converted to N2O by denitrifiers under anaerobic condition. Nevertheless, the effect of denitrifiers on N2O emission has not been thoroughly elucidated. In this study, we explored the denitrifying gas kinetics,nitrate content, transcribed denitrifying functional genes(narG, nirS, nirK, and nosZ), and the active bacteria during anaerobic incubation of soils with conventional intensive N fertilization(CNS) and reduced N fertilization(RNS), both sampled from a vegetable greenhouse experimental site. The CNS sample showed significantly higher N2O emission rates relative to the RNS sample. However, the difference in N2O emission between the soils was neither because of the cumulative nitrate content nor the quantity of denitrifying gene transcripts. The distinct fertilization regimes shaped the significantly different bacterial communities in these soils. The absolute abundance of bacteria that produce N2O but lack the nosZ gene for N2O reduction(for example, the dominant Kaistobacter) was higher in CNS than in RNS. Meanwhile, the abundance of two operational taxonomy units(OTUs), namely Rhodanobacter,belonging to the most abundant genus in denitrifying guilds, was strongly enriched in CNS and showed significant positive correlation with N2O/(N2O +N2). 19Oleic acid reduces steroidogenesis by changing the lipid type stored in lipid droplets of ovarian granulosa cells显示文摘Background:Oleic acid is an abundant free fatty acid present in livestock that are in a negative energy-balance state,and it may have detrimental effects on female reproduction and fertility.Oleic acid induces lipid accumulation in bovine granulosa cells,which leads to a foam cell-like morphology and reduced steroidogenesis.However,why oleic acid increases lipid accumulation but decreases steroidogenesis remains unclear.This study focused on oleic acid’s effects on lipid type and steroidogenesis.Results:Oleic acid increased the lipid accumulation in a concentration-dependent manner and mainly increased the triglyceride level and decreased the cholesterol ester level.Oleic acid also led to a decline in estradiol and progesterone production in porcine granulosa cells in vitro.In addition,oleic acid up-regulated the expression of CD36 and diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2,but down-regulated the expression of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutarylcoenzyme A reductase,scavenger receptor class B member 1 and acetyl-Coenzyme A acetyltransferase 2,as well as steroidogenesis-related genes,including cytochrome P450 family 11 subfamily A member 1,cytochrome P450family 19 subfamily A member 1 and 3 as well as steroidogenic acute regulatory protein at the mRNA and protein levels.An oleic acid-rich diet also enhanced the triglyceride levels and reduced the cholesterol levels in ovarian tissues of female mice,which resulted in lower estradiol levels than in control-fed mice.Compared with the control,decreases in estrus days and the numbers of antral follicles and corpora lutea,as well as an increase in the numbers of the atretic follicles,were found in the oleic acid-fed female mice.Conclusions:Oleic acid changed the lipid type stored in lipid droplets of ovarian granulosa cells,and led to a decrease in steroidogenesis.These results improve our understanding of fertility decline in livestock that are in a negative energy-balance state.Xiaoge Zhou Zhaoyi Mo Yankun Li Liang Huang Sihai Yu Lan Ge Yamei Hu Shengjie Shi Lutong Zhang Liguang Wang Lei Gao Gongshe Yang Guiyan Chu 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,3:1
20Energy Efficient Constrained Shortest Path First-Based Joint Resource Allocation and Route Selection for Multi-Hop CRNs显示文摘Cognitive radio networks(CRNs) are expected to improve spectrum utilization efficiently by allowing secondary users(SUs) to opportunistically access the licensed spectrum of primary users(PUs).In CRNs,source and destination SUs may achieve information interaction in an ad hoc manner.In the case that no direct transmission link between the SU transmission pairs is available,multi-hop relay SUs can be applied to forward information for the source and destination SUs,resulting in multi-hop CRNs.In this paper,we consider a multi-hop CRN consisting of multiple PUs,SU transmission pairs and relay SUs.Stressing the importance of transmission hops and the tradeoff between data rate and power consumption,we propose an energy efficient constrained shortest path first(CSPF)-based joint resource allocation and route selection algorithm,which consists of two sub-algorithms,i.e.,CSPF-based route selection sub-algorithm and energy efficient resource allocation sub-algorithm.More specifically,we first apply CSPF-based route selection sub-algorithm to obtain the shortest candidate routes(SCRs) between the SU pair under the transmission constraints.Then,an energy efficient resource allocation problem of the SCRs is formulated and solved by applying iterative algorithm and Lagrange dual method.Simu-lation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.Qianbin Chen Ling Wang Yuanpeng Gao Rong Chai Xiaoge Huang 2017China Communications2017,14,12:1
