1Simulation on Residual Stress of Shot Peening Based on a Symmetrical Cell Model显示文摘The symmetrical cell model is widely used to study the residual stress induced by shot peening. However,the correlation between the predicted residual stresses and the shot peening coverage, which is a big challenge for the researchers of the symmetrical cell model, is still not established. Based on the dynamic stresses and the residual stresses outputted from the symmetrical cell model, the residual stresses corresponding to full coverage are evaluated by normal distribution analysis. The predicted nodal dynamic stresses with respect to four corner points indicate that the equi-biaxial stress state exists only for the first shot impact. Along with the increase of shot number, the interactions of multiple shot impacts make the fluctuation of the nodal dynamic stresses about an almost identical value more and more obvious. The mean values and standard deviations of the residual stresses gradually tend to be stable with the increase of the number of shot peening series. The mean values at each corner point are almost the same after the third peening series, which means that an equi-biaxial stress state corresponding to the full coverage of shot peening is achieved. Therefore, the mean values of the nodal residual stresses with respect to a specific transverse cross-section below the peened surface can be used to correlate the measured data by X-ray. The predicted residual stress profile agrees with the experimental results very well under 200% peening coverage. 2Multi-axial Fatigue of 2024-T4 Aluminum Alloy显示文摘Only the fatigue initiation is considered by the safe-life design approach,while fatigue crack propagation is paid more attention by the damage tolerance approach.The reasonable fatigue design method and durability assessment standard should give these two phases equivalent concerns.To develop a unified model of fatigue initiation and crack propagation,a great deal of baseline fatigue properties of a material should be obtained by fatigue experiments.However,there is lack of thorough and comprehensive experiment study on the fatigue properties of 2024-T4 aluminum alloy,which is widely used as load-bearing components in aircraft industry.In this paper,strain-controlled uniaxial,torsion,and combined axial-torsion fatigue experiments are conducted on 2024-T4 aluminum alloy in ambient air.Fully reversed uniaxial and pure torsion experiments employ solid cylindrical specimens.Fatigue experiments under the fully reversed shear loading with a static axial stress,proportional axial-torsion loading,and 90°out-of-phase axial-torsion nonproportional loading are conducted by using thin-walled tubular specimens.The experimental results show that the mean stress has a significant influence on the fatigue strength of the material.A tensile mean stress decreases the fatigue life dramatically,while a compressive mean stress increases the fatigue life.The strain-life fatigue results obtained from the fully reversed uniaxial fatigue experiments can be represented by one smooth curve of a three-parameter equation.However,two fitting curves are needed for characterizing the results of the fully reversed pure torsion fatigue tests because of the existence of an obvious kink.The baseline fatigue properties of 2024-T4 aluminum alloy obtained from the fatigue experiments have applications for the fatigue design and safe assessment of engineering components.WANG Xiaogui GAO Zengliang QIU Baoxiang WANG Limei JIANG Yanyao 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,2:7
3Amino-functionalized magnetic bacterial cellulose/activated carbon composite for Pb^2+ and methyl orange sorption from aqueous solution显示文摘A new nanostructured amino-functionalized magnetic bacterial cellulose/activated carbon(BC/AC)composite bioadsorbent(AMBCAC)was prepared for removal of Pb^(2+)and methyl orange(MO)from aqueous solution.The results demonstrated that the equilibrium adsorption capacity(q_e)for Pb^(2+)obviously increases by 2.14 times after introduction of amino groups,the optimum p H for Pb^(2+)and MO adsorption was 5.0 and 3.0,respectively,and the q_eof AMBCAC was 161.78 mg g^(-1)for Pb^(2+)and 83.26 mg g^(-1)for MO under the optimal conditions in this investigation.The kinetics and adsorption isotherm data of the sorption process were well fitted by pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm respectively.The thermodynamic results(the Gibbs free energy change G<0,the enthalpy change H>0,the entropy change S>0)implied that the adsorption process of Pb^(2+)and MO was feasible,endothermic and spontaneous in nature.These results support that the AMBCAC composite developed in this work can provide a cheap and efficient way for easy removal of both Pb^(2+)and MO as a promising adsorbent candidate for wastewater treatment.Xiaogui Huang Xiaozhang Zhan Cuilian Wen Feng Xu Lijin Luo 2018Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,5:7

19Light-Driven Oxidation of Pu(Ⅳ)to Pu(Ⅵ)Enables Green and Efficient Pu Recovery显示文摘Plutonium(Pu)is a key actinide in nuclear industry and is the only element in the periodic table known to date that could exist in four different oxidation states simultaneously in aqueous solution.Efficient recovery of Pu in nuclear wastes relies greatly on the precise control of its oxidation states.Herein,we introduce a light-driven oxidation approach that could effectively oxidize Pu(Ⅳ)to Pu(Ⅵ)in acidic solutions without the addition of extra chemical oxidants.The oxidation proceeds via the reaction of Pu(Ⅳ)with the oxidative species induced by UV light irradiation.This approach can help with the separation of Pu from other metals and can be further extended to a biphasic extraction system to achieve green and efficient stripping of Pu from an organic solvent.Xue Dong Zhipeng Wang Qiang Yan Jing Chen Xiaogui Feng Chao Xu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,12:0
20Reconstruction and metabolic profiling of the genome-scale metabolic network model of Pseudomonas stutzeri A1501显示文摘Pseudomonas stutzeri A1501 is a non-fluorescent denitrifying bacteria that belongs to the gram-negative bacterial group.As a prominent strain in the fields of agriculture and bioengineering,there is still a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding its metabolic capabilities,specifically in terms of central metabolism and substrate utilization.Therefore,further exploration and extensive studies are required to gain a detailed insight into these aspects.This study reconstructed a genome-scale metabolic network model for P.stutzeri A1501 and conducted extensive curations,including correcting energy generation cycles,respiratory chains,and biomass composition.The final model,iQY1018,was successfully developed,covering more genes and reactions and having higher prediction accuracy compared with the previously published model iPB890.The substrate utilization ability of 71 carbon sources was investigated by BIOLOG experiment and was utilized to validate the model quality.The model prediction accuracy of substrate utilization for P.stutzeri A1501 reached 90%.The model analysis revealed its new ability in central metabolism and predicted that the strain is a suitable chassis for the production of Acetyl CoA-derived products.This work provides an updated,high-quality model of P.stutzeri A1501for further research and will further enhance our understanding of the metabolic capabilities.Qianqian Yuan Fan Wei Xiaogui Deng Aonan Li Zhenkun Shi Zhitao Mao Feiran Li Hongwu Ma 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,4:0
