1Near-infrared responsive 5-fluorouracil and indocyanine green loaded MPEG-PCL nanoparticle integrated with dissolvable microneedle for skin cancer therapy显示文摘The prevalence of skin cancer is rising along with the rapid population aging in recent years.Traditional therapies,such as surgical treatment,radiotherapy,chemotherapy,photodynamic therapy,and immunotherapy,may accompany serious side effects,limiting their clinical benefits.According to the biological characteristics of skin cancer,we have already established two kinds of synergetic systems of photothermal therapy(microneedle)and chemotherapy,containing gold nanorods(GNR).Although the microneedle system exhibited great potential for skin cancer treatment,the system could be still improved further.So,we designed a near-infrared lightresponsive 5-fluorouracil(5-Fu)and indocyanine green(ICG)loaded monomethoxy-poly(ethylene glycol)-polycaprolactone(MPEG-PCL)nanoparticle(5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL),and then 5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL was integrated with a hyaluronic acid dissolvable microneedle system(HA MN)to get 5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL loaded HA MN for treating skin cancers,including human epidermoid cancer and melanoma.In this system,hyaluronic acid,the microneedle carrier,possesses good skin penetration ability and is approved by FDA as a pharmaceutical adjuvant;5-Fu is recommended by FDA for skin cancer treatment;ICG,a photothermal agent,possesses a strong photothermal ability and is approved by FDA for its use in the human body.We hypothesized that 5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL could be delivered by the dissolvable microneedle through the skin,and the release behavior of the drug in the nanoparticle could be controlled by near-infrared light for achieving a single-dose cure of skin cancer,improving the cure rate of skin cancer and providing a new idea and possibility for the clinical treatment of skin cancer.Ying Hao YuWen Chen XinLong He Fan Yang RuXia Han ChengLi Yang Wei Li ZhiYong Qian 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,3:17
2Preparation of SiO_2/TiO_2 Janus particles by electrostatic assembly,hydrolysis and calcination显示文摘This paper describes a novel chemical method for preparing SiO_2/TiO_2 Janus particles.First,polystyrene(PSt)/SiO_2 particles with a raspberry-like structure are prepared by electrostatic assembly.The influences of the reaction time of sulfonation and the treatment times of polyelectrolyte solutions(PDADMAC,PSS)on PSt and SiO_2 are investigated with respect to the surface charge density of the particles.SiO_2/TiO_2 Janus particles are then obtained by hydrolysis of butyl titanate on the surface of PSt/SiO_2 particles followed by a calcination process.Particle size analyzer,Zeta potential instrument,FTIR,TEM and SEM are used to characterize the particle size,the amount of charge on the surface of PSt and SiO_2 particles and the compositions and morphologies of PSt/SiO_2,SiO_2/TiO_2 and PSt/SiO_2/TiO_2.The diameters of the PSt,SiO_2,PSt/SiO_2 and SiO_2/TiO_2 particles are 2.0 μm,303 nm,2.7 μm and 330nm,respectively.Baoliang Zhang Qiuyu Zhang Hepeng Zhang Xinlong Fan Dezhong Yin Xiangjie Li Wei Li 2013Particuology2013,11,5:6

6Synthesis of PS/Ag asymmetric hybrid particles via phase separation and self-assembly显示文摘This article presents a facile approach to preparation of polystyrene/silver(PS/Ag) asymmetric hybrid particles.In this method,polystyrene/polyglycidyl methacrylate(PS/PGMA)Janus particles were synthesized via internal phase separation triggered by evaporation of dichloromethane(DCM) from PS/PGMA/DCMin water emulsion droplets.Then,the Janus particles were aminated and sequentially carboxylated to obtain PS/PCMA-NHO_2 and PS/PCMA-COOH particles.Ag*self-assembled on the surface of PGMA hemisphere of the functionalized PS/PCMA particles by coordinating with amine/carboxyl.PS/Ag asymmetric hybrid particles with 7.29 wt%of Ag were obtained by reduction of Ag^+.Scanning electron microscopy,energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy results confirmed that Ag was asymmetrically distributed on the surface of polymer particles.Xinlong Fan Qiuyu Zhang Hepeng Zhang Baoliang Zhang Chunmei Li Xiangjie Li Xingfeng Lei 2013Particuology2013,11,6:1

9Ground-layer adaptive optics for the New Vacuum Solar Telescope:Instrument description and first results显示文摘Ground-layer adaptive optics(GLAO)has shown its potential for use in solar observation owing to its wide field-of-view(FOV)correction.A high-order GLAO system that consists of a multiple direction Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor(WFS),a realtime controller with a multi-CPU processor,and a 151-element deformable mirror was developed for the 1-m New Vacuum Solar Telescope at Yunnan Observatories,Chinese Academy of Sciences.A hexagonal microlens with 9×8 subapertures is employed in the WFS.The detection FOV is 42′′×37′′,in which 9(3×3)guide regions are extracted for multiple direction wavefront sensing with a frame rate of up to 2200 Hz.To our knowledge,this is the first professional solar GLAO system used as a regularly operating instrument for scientific observations.Its installation and adjustment were performed in the summer of 2021.In this article,a detailed account of the GLAO system and its first light results and a comprehensive analysis of the performance of the GLAO system are provided.The results show that this system can effectively improve the imaging quality after compensating for the wavefront aberration due to ground-layer turbulence.Lanqiang Zhang Hua Bao Xuejun Rao Youming Guo Libo Zhong Xian Ran Nanfei Yan Jinsheng Yang Cheng Wang Jiahui Zhou Ying Yang Yunyao Long Xinlong Fan Zhongyi Feng Donghong Chen Changhui Rao 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,6:1

11Electrochemical and Pseudocapacitive Analysis of Rod-Like MoO_(2)@MoSe_(2)@NC Heterostructures for High-Performance Lithium Ion Batteries显示文摘A micro-scale rod-like heterostructure derived from molybdenum-based metal organic framework(Mo-MOF)has been successfully prepared via subsequent annealing treatment,which assembled from N-doped carbon encapsulated MoSe_(2) nanosheets grown on the surface of MoO_(2) microrod(named as MoO_(2)@MoSe_(2)@NC).For this novel heterostructure,the MoO_(2) nanoparticles assembled into rod core not only serve as supporting substrate for facilitating the fast kinetics of Li+cations inside the electrode but also protect the MoSe_(2) structure from restacking in the charge/discharge process.Moreover,the outer-layered MoSe2 nanosheets enable the fast lithium ion movement owing to its large interlayer spacing.Moreover,this unique rod-like core-shell structure composite could further effectively alleviate the structural strains caused by large volume expansion during charge/discharge process,thus leading to stable electrochemical performance when evaluated as anode material for lithium ion batteries.Electrochemical testing exhibits that the MoO_(2)@MoSe_(2)@NC heterostructure presents highly reversible capacity of 468 mAh g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1)and superior rate capability(318 mAh g^(-1)even at 5.0 A g^(-1)),which is attributed to the synergistic effect of N-doped carbon encapsulated MoSe2 nanosheets and MoO_(2) nanoparticles.Zhaoxia Qin Xinlong Liu Zhiyin Huang Rui Sun Zhiyong Li Haosen Fan Shengjun Lu 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,3:1

13High-resolution visible imaging with piezoelectric deformable secondary mirror: experimental results at the 1.8-m adaptive telescope显示文摘Integrating deformable mirrors within the optical train of an adaptive telescope was one of the major innovations in astronomical observation technology,distinguished by its high optical throughput,reduced optical surfaces,and the incorporation of the deformable mirror.Typically,voice-coil actuators are used,which require additional position sensors,internal control electronics,and cooling systems,leading to a very complex structure.Piezoelectric deformable secondary mirror technologies were proposed to overcome these problems.Recently,a high-order piezoelectric deformable secondary mirror has been developed and installed on the 1.8-m telescope at Lijiang Observatory in China to make it an adaptive telescope.The system consists of a 241-actuator piezoelectric deformable secondary mirror,a 192-sub-aperture Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor,and a multi-core-based real-time controller.The actuator spacing of the PDSM measures 19.3 mm,equivalent to approximately 12.6 cm when mapped onto the primary mirror,significantly less than the voicecoil-based adaptive telescopes such as LBT,Magellan and VLT.As a result,stellar images with Strehl ratios above 0.49 in the R band have been obtained.To our knowledge,these are the highest R band images captured by an adaptive telescope with deformable secondary mirrors.Here,we report the system description and on-sky performance of this adaptive telescope.Youming Guo Kele Chen Jiahui Zhou Zhengdai Li Wenyu Han Xuejun Rao Hua Bao Jinsheng Yang Xinlong Fan Changhui Rao 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,12:1

15A series of nanoparticles with phase-separated structures by 1,1-diphenylethene controlled one-step soap-free emulsion copolymerization and their application in drug release显示文摘A facile one-step approach to synthesize various phase-separated porous,raspberry-like, flower-like, core-shell and anomalous nanoparticles andnanocapsules via 1,1-diphenylethene (DPE) controlled soap-free emulsioncopolymerization of styrene (S) with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), or acrylicacid (AA) is reported. By regulating the mass ratio of S/GMA, transparentpolymer solution, porous and anomalous P(S-GMA) particles could be produced.The P(S-GMA) particles turn from flower-like to raspberry-like and then toanomalous structures with smooth surface as the increase of divinylbenzene(DVB) crosslinker. Transparent polymer solution, nanocapsules and core-shellP(S-AA) particles could be obtained by altering the mole ratio of S/AA; anomalousand raspberry-like P(S-AA) particles are produced by adding DVB. Theunpolymerized S resulted from the low monomer conversion in the presence ofDPE aggregates to form nano-sized droplets, and migrates towards the externalsurfaces of the GMA-enriched P(S-GMA) particles and the internal bulk of theAA-enriched P(S-AA) particles. The nano-sized droplets function as in situporogen, porous P(S-GMA) particles and P(S-AA) nanocapsules are producedwhen the porogen is removed. This novel facile, one-step method with excellentcontrollability and reproducibility will inspire new strategies for creatinghierarchical phase-separated polymeric particles with various structures by simplyaltering the species and ratio of comonomers. 18In-situ Synthesis of Coral-Like Molybdenum Phosphide(MoP) Microspheres for Lithium-Ion Battery显示文摘Molybdenum phosphide(MoP) has attracted extensive attention as promising anode candidates for lithium-ion batteries owing to its high specific capacity,low potential range and low polarization.However,severe volume changes and intrinsic low conductivity are major challenges for further application of MoP electrode materials.In this work,a coral-like MoP microsphere encapsulated by N-doped carbon(MoP@NDC) was successfully prepared through annealing the precursor derived from self-polymerization of dopamine with phosphomolybdic acid.The introduction of carbon framework not only serves as matrix to confine MoP nanocrystals from aggregations,but also improves the electrochemical conductivity and facilitates lithium ion or electron transport on the surface of MoP.Such hierarchical structure delivered high discharge capacity of 495 mAh g^(-1) after 300 cycles with 90.1 % capacity retention,which could be attributed to the synergistic effects of MoP nanoparticles and conductive carbon network.This design strategy shows MoP@NDC electrode with applicable application as anode in lithium-ion battery.Xinlong Liu Wei Yang Zhiting Liu Haosen Fan Wenzhi Zheng 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,3:0

20Basal defense is enhanced in a wheat cultivar resistant to Fusarium head blight显示文摘Fusarium head blight(FHB),mainly caused by the fungal pathogen Fusarium graminearum,is one of the most destructive wheat diseases.Besides directly affecting the yield,the mycotoxin residing in the kernel greatly threatens the health of humans and livestock.Xinong 979(XN979)is a widely cultivated wheat elite with high yield and FHB resistance.However,its resistance mechanism remains unclear.In this study,we studied the expression of genes involved in plant defense in XN979 by comparative transcriptomics.We found that the FHB resistance in XN979 consists of two lines of defense.The first line of defense,which is constitutive,is knitted via the enhanced basal expression of lignin and jasmonic acid(JA)biosynthesis genes.The second line of defense,which is induced upon F.graminearum infection,is contributed by the limited suppression of photosynthesis and the struggle of biotic stress-responding genes.Meanwhile,the effective defense in XN979 leads to an inhibition of fungal gene expression,especially in the early infection stage.The formation of the FHB resistance in XN979 may coincide with the breeding strategies,such as selecting high grain yield and lodging resistance traits.This study will facilitate our understanding of wheat-F.graminearum interaction and is insightful for breeding FHB-resistant wheat.Xinlong Gao Fan Li Yikun Sun Jiaqi Jiang Xiaolin Tian Qingwen Li Kaili Duan Jie Lin Huiquan Liu Qinhu Wang 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4:0
