The development of investigation on material removal mechanisms for different materials used in com-puter hard disk and ultra-large scale integration fabrication are reviewed here. 2Chemical mechanical polishing: Theory and experiment显示文摘For several decades,chemical mechanical polishing(CMP)has been the most widely used planarization method in integrated circuits manufacturing.The final polishing results are affected by many factors related to the carrier structure,the polishing pad,the slurry,and the process parameters.As both chemical and mechanical actions affect the effectiveness of CMP,and these actions are themselves affected by many factors,the CMP mechanism is complex and has been a hot research area for many years.This review provides a basic description of the development,challenges,and key technologies associated with CMP.We summarize theoretical CMP models from the perspectives of kinematics,empirical,its mechanism(from the viewpoint of the atomic scale,particle scale,and wafer scale),and its chemical-mechanical synergy.Experimental approaches to the CMP mechanism of material removal and planarization are further discussed from the viewpoint of the particle wear effect,chemical-mechanical synergy,and wafer-pad interfacial interaction.Dewen ZHAO Xinchun LU 2013Friction2013,1,4:18
3Modeling and stabilization for a class of nonlinear networked control systems: A T-S fuzzy approach显示文摘The stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear networked control systems (NCSs) is investigated in this paper. A Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is employed to represent the nonlinear controlled plant in the NCSs. Based on parallel distributed compensation (PDC) technique, a novel model of the nonlinear NCSs is established firstly in consideration of both network-induced delay and packet losses in transmission. Then a stability condition of the nonlinear NCSs is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and the delay input approach. Furthermore, the control design of the nonlinear NCSs is developed by means of LMIs. 4A method for the production and expedient screening of CRISPR/Cas9-mediated non-transgenic mutant plants显示文摘Developing CRISPR/Cas9-mediated non-transgenic mutants in asexually propagated perennial crop plants is challenging but highly desirable.Here,we report a highly useful method using an Agrobacterium-mediated transient CRISPR/Cas9 gene expression system to create non-transgenic mutant plants without the need for sexual segregation.We have also developed a rapid,cost-effective,and high-throughput mutant screening protocol based on Illumina sequencing followed by high-resolution melting(HRM)analysis.Using tetraploid tobacco as a model species and the phytoene desaturase(PDS)gene as a target,we successfully created and expediently identified mutant plants,which were verified as tetra-allelic mutants.We produced pds mutant shoots at a rate of 47.5%from tobacco leaf explants,without the use of antibiotic selection.Among these pds plants,17.2%were confirmed to be non-transgenic,for an overall non-transgenic mutation rate of 8.2%.Our method is reliable and effective in creating non-transgenic mutant plants without the need to segregate out transgenes through sexual reproduction.This method should be applicable to many economically important,heterozygous,perennial crop species that are more difficult to regenerate.Longzheng Chen Wei Li Lorenzo Katin-Grazzini Jing Ding Xianbin Gu Yanjun Li Tingting Gu Ren Wang Xinchun Lin Ziniu Deng Richard J.McAvoy Frederick G.Gmitter Jr. Zhanao Deng Yunde Zhao Yi Li 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:12

6Near-surface sand-dust horizontal flux in Tazhong-the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert显示文摘Tazhong is the hinterland and a sandstorm high-frequency area of the Taklimakan Desert. However, little is known about the detailed time-series of aeolian sand transport in this area. An experiment to study the sand-dust horizontal flux of near-surface was carried out in Tazhong from January to December 2009. By measuring the sand-dust horizontal flux throughout sixteen sand-dust weather processes with a 200-cm tall Big Spring Number Eight (BSNE) sampler tower, we quantitatively analyzed the vertical variation of the sand-dust horizontal flux. And the total sand-dust horizontal flux of different time-series that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was estimated combining the data of saltation movement continuously recorded by piezoelectric saltation sensors (Sensit). The results indicated that, in the surface layer ranging from 0-200 cm, the intensity of sand-dust horizontal flux decreased with the increase of the height, and the physical quantities obeyed power function well. The total sand-dust horizontal flux of the sixteen sand-dust weather processes that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was about 2,144.9 kg, the maximum of one sand-dust weather event was about 396.3 kg, and the annual total sand-dust horizontal flux was about 3,903.2 kg. The high levels of aeolian sand transport occurred during daytime, especially from 13:00 to 16:00 in the afternoon. 7Effect of the Cutter Parameters and Machining Parameters on the Interference in Gear Slicing显示文摘Current researches have not yet found the effect law of the cutter parameters and machining parameters on the interference in gear slicing,the interference between the cutter and machined gear often happens because the appropriate cutter parameters and machining parameters cannot be set,which reduces the gear machining accuracy.The relative position between the major flank face and edge-sweeping surface,distribution law of the interference area in forming process of edge-sweeping surface,and effect law of relative positions among edge-sweeping surfaces on the interference are studied by graphical analysis.The effect law of the cutter parameters and machining parameters on the interference is found.The effect law shows that the interference in gear slicing can be controlled when the relief angle measured on the top edge and feed of every rotation are chosen respectively larger than 9°and smaller than 0.15 mm/r.An internal helical gear is sliced with the spur slice cutter and the cutter parameters and machining parameters are set based on above the effect law.The machined gear is measured in Gear Measuring Center and the detection result shows that the comprehensive accuracy reaches GB/T Class 7,where some reach GB/T Class 6.The result can meet the gear machining accuracy requirement and shows that the effect law found is valid.The problem of the interference in gear slicing is solved and the gear machining accuracy can be improved.CHEN Xinchun LI Jia LOU Benchao SHI Jiang YANG Qijun 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,6:10

9Modified graphene as novel lubricating additive with high dispersion stability in oil显示文摘Graphene is a promising material as a lubricant additive for reducing friction and wear.Here,a dispersing method which combines chemical modification of graphene by octadecylamine and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide with a kind of effective dispersant has been successfully developed to achieve the remarkable dispersion stability of graphene in base oil.The stable dispersion time of modified graphene(0.5 wt%)with dispersant(1 wt%)in PAO-6 could be up to about 120 days,which was the longest time reported so far.At the same time,the lubricant exhibits a significant improvement of tribological performance for a steel ball to plate tribo-system with a normal load of 2 N.The coefficient of friction between sliding surfaces was~0.10 and the depth of wear track on plate was~21 nm,which decreased by about 44%and 90%when compared to pure PAO-6,respectively.Furthermore,the analysis of the lubricating mechanisms in regard to the sliding-induced formation of nanostructured tribo-film has been contacted by using Raman spectra and TEM.Pu WU Xinchun CHEN Chenhui ZHANG Jiping ZHANG Jianbin LUO Jiyang ZHANG 2021Friction2021,9,1:9
10A Passive Anti-icing Strategy Based on a Superhydrophobic Mesh with Extremely Low Ice Adhesion Strength显示文摘Although superhydrophobic materials have attracted much research interest in anti-icing,some controversy still exists.In this research,we report a cost-effective method used to verify the contribution of area fraction to ice adhesion strength.We tried to partially-embed siliea nanopnarticles into microscale fabrics of a commercial polyamide mesh.Then,the area fraction could be determined by altering the mesh size.Generally,the ice adhesion strength decreases as the area fraction decreases.An ice adhesion strength of~1.9 kPa and a delayed freezing time of~1048 s can be obtained.We attribute the low ice adhesion strength to the combination of superhydro-phobicity and stress concentration.The superhydrophobicity prohibits the water from penetrating into the voids of the meshes,and the small actual contact area leads to stress concentration which promotes interfacial crack propagation.Moreover,our superhydrophobic mesh simultaneously exhibis a micro-nano hierarchical structure and a partally-cmbedded structure.Therefore,the as-prepared superhydrophobic mesh retained the ieephobicity after 20 icingldeicing cycles,and maintained its superhydrophobicity even afier 60 sandpaper-abrasion cycles and a 220'C thermal treatment.Peng Wang Ziqiang Li Qing Xie wei Duan Xinchun Zhang Huilong Han 2021Journal of Bionic Engineering2021,18,1:9

12Reliable grading robust stabilization for uncertain time-varying systems via dynamic compensator显示文摘A new general model for uncertain time-varying parameters and a new measure sensor failure model are presented, and the problems of both grading robust stabilization and reliable grading robust stabilization for such systems are studied. By the Lyapunov stability theory and matrix algebra method, some sufficient criteria for the above two control problems are established in quasi-linear matrix inequalities (Q-LMIS) forms. In view of linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, a solving procedure for the Q-LMIS problem is proposed. The solvability of the Q-LMIS problem can be improved obviously by adding some LMI constraints to the Q-LMIS. Based on the two Q-LMIS criteria, a grading robust stable control strategy, namely, the controller with different energy is acted on the system with different uncertain parameter range, is presented. 13Polybrominated diphenyl ethers in soil from three typical industrial areas in Beijing, China显示文摘Areas containing industrial facilities belonging to three diferent typical industries that may cause pollution by polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDEs) in Beijing, China were investigated. Specifically, the areas contained a solid waste incineration plant, a chemical factory, and a heat and power plant. Investigation of the pollution status of PBDEs in the surface soil from areas around these industries revealed the highest concentration of 42 PBDE congeners(118 ng/g, dry mass) at the solid waste incineration plant. In the other two plants, the highest concentrations were both 26 ng/g(dry mass). Among the PBDE homologues, the PBDE contamination at all sites showed similar congener compositions, with BDE 209 being the dominant congener. Our findings established the first contamination status of three typical industrial areas in Beijing. Furthermore, the total concentrations of 42 PBDE congeners tended to decrease as the distance from the investigated plants increased. Overall, these plants were identified as potential pollution sources of PBDEs in Beijing. Moreover, Pearson correlation analysis revealed that the major PBDE source in Beijing may be associated with the technical deca-BDE and penta-BDE mixture. 14Research on effectiveness of coal mine safety supervision system reform on three types of collieries in China显示文摘Coal mine safety supervision system plays an important role in the coal mine safety management in China.However,the current supervision system is established on the basis of learning the advanced experience from other developed countries.It needs to be further improved according to national conditions.Therefore,the effectiveness of coal mine safety supervision system reform on three types of collieries are assessed by using time series analysis method based on comparative analysis of the supervision system before and after the reform in this paper.The regression results show that the structural reform is not conductive to the improvement of coal mine safety situation in the short term,but conductive significantly in the long term.Specifically,the effects in township coal mines are more significant than stateowned key coal mines in the long run,but negative effects also exist in the short term.The negative effects in state-owned key coal mines are non-significant compared with township coal mines.Moreover,the regression results are analyzed from the aspects of the closure policy of illegal small township coal mines at the end of 1998 and shortage of the new supervision system.Finally,the suggestions on improving the new supervision system are put forward based on the above analysis.Quanlong Liu Xinchun Li Fuyuan Guan 2014International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,3:7
15External fixation is more suitable for intra-articular fractures of the distal radius in elderly patients显示文摘The purpose of this study was to compare the functional outcomes,psychological impact,and complication rates associated with external fixation and volar or dorsal plating in relation to the functional parameters following treatment of intra-articular fractures of the distal radius(IFDR) in patients older than 65 years.We hypothesized that using volar or dorsal plating would improve functional outcomes,but that it would be associated with more complications and equivalent functional outcomes when compared with the external fixation group.A total of 123 consecutive patients suffering from IFDR were recruited into the study.The patients were measured for clinical,radiological,and psychosocial functioning outcomes and were followed up after 1 week and 3,6 and 12 months.After 3 months,the plating group had better pronation(P=0.001),supination,(P=0.047) and extension(P=0.043) scores.These differences were somewhat attenuated by6 months and disappeared at 1 year.The plating group had a greater occurrence of wound infection(P=0.043),tendonitis,(P=0.024) and additional surgery compared with the external fixation group.The only TNO-AZL Adult Quality of Life scores in the plating group that were lower than those in the external fixation group were in the 'gross motor' category(walking upstairs,bending over,walking 500 yards; P=0.023).Internal fixation was more advantageous than external fixation in the early rehabilitation period; after 1 year the outcomes were similar.The plating group showed significantly higher levels of wound infection and tendonitis and had a greater need for additional surgeries.Chuang Ma Qiang Deng Hongwei Pu Xinchun Cheng Yuhua Kan Jing Yang Aihemaitijiang Yusufu Li Cao 2016Bone Research2016,4,1:7

18Significantly enhanced piezoelectric performance in Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)-based high-temperature piezoceramics via oxygen vacancy defects tailoring显示文摘Bismuth titanate (Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12),BIT)piezoelectric materials have attracted increasing attention due to their high-temperature applications.However,it is quite challenging to simultaneously achieve outstanding piezoelectric properties and high Curie temperature in BIT-based systems.In this study,oxygen vacancy defects tailoring strategy was utilized to solve this problem,excellent piezoelectric coefficient(32.1 pC/N),and ultrahigh Curie temperature(659℃)are gotten in Bi_(4)Ti_(3)-x(Mn_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))xO_(12)(BTMN)ceramics,which are among the top values in the BIT-based ceramics.More importantly,the(Mn_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))(4+d)+complex-ion modified Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)-based ceramics are characterized with excellent piezoelectric stability up to 500℃(d33>30.0 pC/N at 500℃))and significantly reduced conductivity(only~10^(-7)U-1 cm^(-1)at 500℃).Moreover,enhanced ferroelectricity and good dielectric stability were also obtained.The better comprehensive properties can be ascribed to two aspects.First,the concentration of oxygen vacancy defects is obviously reduced,and their distribution is effectively controlled in BITMN ceramics.Second,the introduction of(Mn_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))^((4+δ)+)complex-ion gives rise to the antiphase boundaries and massive ferroelectric domain walls.This works not only reveal the high potential of BITMN ceramics for high-temperature piezoelectric applications but also deepen the understanding of the structure-properties relationship in BIT-based materials.Xinchun Xie Zhiyong Zhou Ruihong Liang Xianlin Dong 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,1:6
19Effect of La_2O_3 on microstructure,mechanical and tribological properties of Ni-W coatings显示文摘In this paper, a Ni-W-La2O3 composite coating was prepared by the electrodeposition method. Microhardness tester and environmental scanning electron microscope equipped energy dispersive spectroscopy were employed to investigate the microhardness and the surface morphology of the composite coatings respectively, and the high temperature friction behavior and corrosion resistance of the coatings against molten glass were investigated by using a high temperature tribometer. The results show that La2O3 can refine the microstructure effectively, and make the element distribution uniform, which leads to the increase of average microhardness. La2O3 particulates can reduce the friction coefficient between the composite coating and glass during the sliding process at about 973 K largely, and the corrosion resistance of the La2O3 added Ni-W coatings is effectively improved compared with that of the non-added one, furthermore the mechanism of friction-reducing and anti-corrosion is also discussed.HAN BaoLei LU XinChun 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,24:5
20Value of ^(18)F-FDG PET/CT and MRI in diagnosing primary endometrial small cell carcinoma显示文摘Primary small cell carcinoma(SCC) is a group of aggressive neoplasms that mainly arise from the lung and digestive tract. Endometrial small cell carcinoma(ESCC) is extremely rare. To our knowledge, less than 90 cases have been reported, and most of these reports were dedicated to describing the clinicopathologic or immunochemical features of ESCC. Herein, we present a new case of ESCC involving a 51-year-old woman and mainly focus on the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and positron emission tomography/computed tomography(PET/CT) findings. MRI showed that the uterus was significantly enlarged(11.6 cm × 11.1 cm × 14.4 cm), and a giant irregular mass(7.5 cm × 8.4 cm × 8.5 cm) was observed in the uterine cavity. The lesion demonstrated an extremely low apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) value [(0.553±0.088)×10–3 mm2/s] and a high FDG uptake value(22.7).
