1Numerical and Experimental Investigation of High-efficiency Axial-flow Pump显示文摘The experimental investigation of axial-flow pump has been rapidly developed to meet the needs of South-to-North Water Diversion Project of China. Owing to the boundary conditions of hub, blade tip clearance, much of the physical phenomena and laws involved in this complex flow field can’t be fully determined. The flow characteristics of the high efficiency axial-flow pump have been simulated by RNG k –ε turbulence model and SIMPLEC arithmetic based on FLUENT software. Numerical results indicate that the data from the prediction show agreement with the experimental results, static pressure on pressure side of blades increases slightly at circumferential direction with radius increasing, and keep almost constant at the same radial while increasing gradually from inlet to exit on the suction side along flow direction at design conditions. The static pressure, total pressure and velocity at inlet, impeller outlet and vane outlet were measured by a five-hole probe, and a contrastive experiment was done to investigate the influence of hub leakage. The experimental results show that inlet flow is almost axial and the prerotation is very small at various conditions. The meridional velocity and circulation distribution are almost identical at impeller outlet at design conditions due to steady flow and high efficiency. The residual circulation exits at downstream of the guide vane, and the circumferential velocity component increases linearly from hub to tip at small flow rate conditions. Hub leakage in adjustable blades results in the decrease of the meridional velocity and circulation at blade exit near hub. 2Thermodynamic modeling and phase diagram prediction of salt lake brine systemsⅡ.Aqueous Li^(+)-Na^(+)-K^(+)-SO_(4)^(2-) and its subsystems显示文摘It is still a challenging task to accurately and temperature-continuously express the thermodynamic properties and phase equilibrium behaviors of the salt-lake brine with multi-component,multitemperature and high concentration.The essential subsystem of sulfate type brine,aqueous Li^(+)-Na^(+)-K^(+)-SO_(4)^(2-) and its subsystems across a temperature range from 250 K to 643 K are investigated with the improved comprehensive thermodynamic model.Liquid parameters(Δg_(IJ),Δh_(IJ),and ΔC_(p,IJ))associated with the contributions of Gibbs energy,enthalpy,and heat capacity to the binary interaction parameters,i.e.the temperature coefficients of eNRTL parameters formulated with a Gibbs Helmholtz expression,are determined via multi-objective optimization method.The solid constantsΔ_(f)G_(k)°^((298.15))andΔ_(f)H_(k)°^((298.15))of11 solid species occurred in the quaternary system are rebuilt from multi-temperature solubilities.The modeling results show the accurate representation of(1)solution properties and binary phase diagram at temperature ranges from eutectic points to 643 K;(2)isothermal phase diagrams for Li_(2)SO_(4)-Na_(2)SO_(4)-H_(2)O,Li_(2)SO_(4)-K_(2)SO_(4)-H_(2)O and Na_(2)SO_(4)-K_(2)SO_(4)-H_(2)O ternary systems.The predicted results of complete structure and polythermal phase diagram of ternary systems and the isothermal phase diagrams of quaternary system excellently match with the experimental data.Huan Zhou Peng Wu Wenxuan Li Xingfan Wang Kuo Zhou Qing Hao 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,6:6

4Groundwater net discharge rates estimated from lake level change in Badain Jaran Desert, Northwest China显示文摘Over a hundred sizable lakes,some even larger than^1 km2,are distributed across the lowlands between megadunes in the southeastern Badain Jaran Desert(BJD),northwest China.With rather limited precipitation and hardly any surface runoff,these lakes are fed mainly by groundwater.However,the source of the groundwater and the groundwater discharge rates to these lakes are poorly understood.Water level and temperature of four representative lakes in the southeastern BJD were monitored continuously between 2013 and 2017.Water surface evaporation and rainfall in this area were also measured.Combining these acquired data,groundwater discharge rates were estimated using water balance models.The results show that the four lakes have similar recharge and discharge patterns,but at different average net groundwater discharge rates ranging from 1.79 to 3.09 mm d?1.The lake level variation mainly depends on groundwater discharge and lake surface evaporation.We found that diurnal lake level variation may be controlled by earth tide and atmospheric pressure change,and is five times greater than the evaporation.The desert precipitation and deep confined groundwater with high temperature were found also recharging the desert lakes.An Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD)method was used to identify the lake level trend.All lake levels increased over the last four years,except one decreased in 2015 and 2016.The lake levels’increasing trend is synchronously similar with the precipitation in north China.This study analyzes annual and seasonal lake level variations,and also finds the diurnal water cycle between the groundwater and lake water for the first time.Xingfan WANG Hui ZHAO Yongwei SHENG Jianwei GENG Keqi WANG Hongyu YANG 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,5:2

12Clinical application of autologous chyle fat transplantation in the correction of sunken upper eyelid显示文摘Aim:We investigated the clinical application of autologous chyle fat in the correction of sunken upper eyelid.Methods:From November 2020 to October 2021,89 cases of correction with autologous chyle fat to sunken upper eyelid were performed(with or without other cosmetic procedures related to the eyes).An appropriate amount of fat was extracted from the superficial layer of the patient’s thigh and processed to chyle fat.About 0.5-2.8 mL of fat was injected under the orbicularis oculi muscle(roof-retro orbicularis oculi fat)or in the area where the orbital septal fat exists from the outer orbital margin of the upper eyelid.Results:In total,59 patients were followed up for 1-11 months after surgery.No infection,necrosis,vascular embolism,upper eyelid lumpiness,fat calcification,or liquefaction occurred in all patients,while seven cases showed inadequate correction.The depression basically disappeared,the shape was relatively full,the youthfulness was greatly improved,and the satisfaction of patients was high during the follow-up period.Conclusion:The correction with autologous chyle fat to sunken upper eyelid showed little trauma,short recovery periods,and satisfactory results,and it is worthy of being popularized and applied more widely.Lin Qi Pu Wang Xingfan Chen 2022Plastic and Aesthetic Research2022,9,1:1

18Actual Sensing Sensitivity and SNR Measurement of Optical Tweezers Based on Coulomb Force Input显示文摘Sensing sensitivity is the key performance of optical tweezers.By adjusting the frequency and magnitude of an applied Coulomb force as an input of optical tweezers,we directly measured the sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of a system and indirectly calculated the actual noise magnitude.Combined with an output filter,the relationship between the SNR and bandwidths was studied.We established the simulation model of a system using Simulink and simulated the relationship between the SNR and magnitude of the input forces and filter bandwidths.In addition,we built an experimental system to determine the relationship between the SNR and the magnitude of the input forces and filter bandwidths.The actual minimum detectable force was measured as 1.8275×10^(-17)N at a 1Hz bandwidth.The experimental results were correlated with the simulation and theoretical results,confirming the effectiveness of the proposed method and demonstrating the high sensitivity of vacuum optical tweezers as mechanical sensors.We proposed a novel method of calibration and measurement of system sensing parameters by applying an actual force that was more direct and precise than the theoretical calculation method that requires accurate fitting parameters,such as the particle radius and density.This method can be employed to analyze the system noise and phase characteristics to confirm and improve the real performance of the system.Jiaojiao WANG Xingfan CHEN Shaochong ZHU Zhenhai FU Nan LI Huizhu HU 2023Photonic Sensors2023,13,1:0
19An Improved Solov2 Based on Attention Mechanism and Weighted Loss Function for Electrical Equipment Instance Segmentation显示文摘The current existing problem of deep learning framework for the detection and segmentation of electrical equipment is dominantly related to low precision.Because of the reliable,safe and easy-to-operate technology provided by deep learning-based video surveillance for unmanned inspection of electrical equipment,this paper uses the bottleneck attention module(BAM)attention mechanism to improve the Solov2 model and proposes a new electrical equipment segmentation mode.Firstly,the BAM attention mechanism is integrated into the feature extraction network to adaptively learn the correlation between feature channels,thereby improving the expression ability of the feature map;secondly,the weighted sum of CrossEntropy Loss and Dice loss is designed as the mask loss to improve the segmentation accuracy and robustness of the model;finally,the non-maximal suppression(NMS)algorithm to better handle the overlap problem in instance segmentation.Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves an average segmentation accuracy of mAP of 80.4% on three types of electrical equipment datasets,including transformers,insulators and voltage transformers,which improve the detection accuracy by more than 5.7% compared with the original Solov2 model.The segmentation model proposed can provide a focusing technical means for the intelligent management of power systems.Junpeng Wu Zhenpeng Liu Xingfan Jiang Xinguang Tao Ye Zhang 2024Computers, Materials & Continua2024,78,1:0
