2Paleomagnetic results of Late Paleozoic rocks from northern Qiangtang Block in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China显示文摘Tectonic evolution of the Tethys and the boundary between the Gondwanaland and the Eurasia during the Carboniferous and Permian remain hotly debated. Qiangtang region in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau may be a key place to study these problems. A paleomagnetic study was conducted on the Late Paleozoic rocks in the northern Qiangtang region (33.7°N, 86.7°W), Tibet. Two sites (21 samples) in the Upper Carboniferous, eleven sites (101 samples) in the Permian, and two sites (16 samples) in the Lower Triassic were investigated. The rock magnetic data revealed hematite and magnetite as the main magnetic carriers. In stepwise thermal demagnetization and/or combined alternating field (AC) demagnetization, two characteristic components in the majority of the samples were identified as (1) the Low-temperature Component (LTC), characterized by northerly decli- nation and moderate to steep inclination, corresponding to a pole position overlay with the present North Pole. A minority of the samples present single component, and their directions are the same as (2) the High-temperature Component (HTC) of double components. The combined single-component and HTC data of the Permian can pass the R-test at 95% level and the F-test at 99% level, as well as the BC-test. The pole position from the Late Carboniferous is at 31.8°S, 45.7°E with dp=2.1, dm=3.9, that from the Early and Middle (Late) Permian is at 31.7°S, 46.8°E with dp=9.2, dm=16.9 (34.4°N, 54.1°E with dp=6.9, dm=12.5) respectively, and that from the Early Triassic is at 16.9°S, 22.5°E with dp=4.9, dm=9.2. 3Influence of background pressure on the microstructure and optical properties of Mo/Si multilayers fabricated by magnetron sputtering显示文摘Mo/Si multilayers were fabricated by using magnetron sputtering method at different background pressures:6×10-5 Torr,3×10-5 Torr,and 3×10-6 Torr.The reflectivity of the Mo/Si multilayers increased from 1.93% to 16.63%,and the center wavelength revealed a blue shift to 0.12 nm with the decrease of background pressure.Grazing incident X-ray diffraction(GIXRD) indicated that multilayers fabricated at high background pressure possessed better periodic structure and thinner Mo-on-Si interlayers.Low crystallization degree in(110) preferred the orientation of Mo layers and serious interdiffusion in the Mo/Si multilayers fabricated at low background pressure were observed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM).According to quantitative analysis of microstructural parameters,the Mo layers thickness and thickness ratio of Mo/Si multilayers both decreased and approached the design value gradually by the decrease of background pressure.In addition,the thicknesses of Mo-on-Si and Si-on-Mo interlayers were 1.17 nm and 0.85 nm respectively.It is suggested that the influence of background pressures on the microstructure has a critical role in determining the optical properties of Mo/Si multilayers.LV Peng ZHANG ZaiQiang GUAN JinTong WANG XiaoDong HOU XiuLi ZHANG LingYan WANG JiJun CHEN Bo GUAN QingFeng 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,9:2
4The PtoTCP20-miR396d-PtoGRF15 module regulates secondary vascular development in Populus显示文摘Secondary vascular development is a key biological characteristic of woody plants and the basis of wood formation.Our understanding of gene expression regulation and dynamic changes in microRNAs(miRNAs)during secondary vascular development is still limited.Here we present an integrated analysis of the miRNA and mRNA transcriptome of six phase-specific tissues-the shoot apex,procambium,primary vascular tissue,cambium,secondary phloem,and secondary xylem-in Populus tomentosa.Several novel regulatory modules,including the PtoTCP20-miR396d-PtoGRF15 module,were identified during secondary vascular development in Populus.A series of biochemical and molecular experiments confirmed that PtoTCP20 activated transcription of the miR396d precursor gene and that miR396d targeted PtoGRF15 to downregulate its expression.Plants overexpressing miR396d(35S:miR396d)showed enhanced secondary growth and increased xylem production.Conversely,during the transition from primary to secondary vascular development,plants with downregulated PtoTCP20expression(PtoTCP20-SRDX),downregulated miR396 expression(35S:STTM396),and PtoGRF15 overexpression(35S:PtoGRF15)showed delayed secondary growth.Novel regulatory modules were identified by integrated analysis of the miRNA and mRNA transcriptome,and the regulatory role of the PtoTCP20-miR396d-PtoGRF15 signaling cascade in secondary vascular development was validated in Populus,providing information to support improvements in forest cultivation and wood properties.Lingyan Wang Jie Hou Huimin Xu Yufei Zhang Runzhou Huang Donghui Wang Xin-Qiang He 2023Plant Communications2023,4,2:1
