1An improved technology for eliminating nondeterministic latency in the L1 trigger system显示文摘Gamma Ray Array Detector(GRAD) is one of external target facility subsystems in the Cooling Storage Ring on the Heavy Ion Research Facility at Lanzhou(HIRFL-CSR).The trigger subsystem of GRAD is required to make a fast L1 trigger decision with a fixed latency for the data acquisition.Because the hit signals from the detector are asynchronous with the local clock of the trigger system,a nondeterministic latency(the value changes between zero and one clock period) is generated when the synchronous receivers of the conventional trigger system process the hit signals.In this paper,an improved trigger logic based on a field-programmable gate array is developed,and comprised of zero-delay broadening circuits as receivers and an improved adding circuit designed for the new receivers.Software simulation and experimental measurement have been conducted.Comparison with the conventional trigger logic,the improved trigger logic has the advantage of eliminating the nondeterministic latency and reducing the total processing latency.DU Zhongwei SU Hong KONG Jie ZHAO Xingwen QIAN Yi 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,2:2

3Integration of resonant band with asymmetry in ferroelectric tunnel junctions显示文摘We propose that the asymmetry-induced tunneling electroresistance(TER)effect in a ferroelectric tunnel junction(FTJ)could be improved by integrating a polarization-controlled resonant band.Using first-principles calculations and a quantum-mechanical tunneling model,we studied an asymmetric FTJ SrRuO_(3)/BaTiO_(3)/SrTiO_(3)/SrRuO_(3).The resonant band is integrated into this FTJ by two atomic layers of BaSnO_(3)embedded in the barrier.In the elaborated FTJ SrRuO_(3)/BaTiO_(3)/BaSnO_(3)/SrTiO_(3)/SrRuO_(3),both resonant band and asymmetry work together.For one polarization direction,the BaSnO_(3)and SrTiO_(3)dielectric layers work together as barriers to provide considerable efficient barrier height for direct tunneling and lead to large tunneling resistance.For the opposite polarization,the BaSnO_(3)layer serves as a quantum well to induce resonant tunneling across the barrier and considerably reduces the tunneling resistance of the ON state.The integration of resonant band with asymmetry may provide a more efficient and applicable way to further improve the functionalities of FTJs.Jing Su Jing Li Xingwen Zheng Shijie Xie Xiaohui Liu 2022npj Computational Materials2022,,1:0
4Promoter variations in DBR2-like affect artemisinin production in different chemotypes of Artemisia annua显示文摘Artemisia annua is the only known plant source of the potent antimalarial artemisinin,which occurs as the low-and high-artemisinin producing(LAP and HAP)chemotypes.Nevertheless,the different mechanisms of artemisinin producing between these two chemotypes were still not fully understood.Here,we performed a comprehensive analysis of genome resequencing,metabolome,and transcriptome data to systematically compare the difference in the LAP chemotype JL and HAP chemotype HAN.Metabolites analysis revealed that 72.18%of sesquiterpenes was highly accumulated in HAN compared to JL.Integrated omics analysis found a DBR2-Like(DBR2L)gene may be involved in artemisinin biosynthesis.DBR2L was highly homologous with DBR2,belonged to ORR3 family,and had the DBR2 activity of catalyzing artemisinic aldehyde to dihydroartemisinic aldehyde.Genome resequencing and promoter cloning revealed that complicated variations existed in DBR2L promoters among different varieties of A.annua and were clustered into three variation types.The promoter activity of diverse variant types showed obvious differences.Furthermore,the core region(-625 to 0)of the DBR2L promoter was identified and candidate transcription factors involved in DBR2L regulation were screened.Thus,the result indicates that DBR2L is another key enzyme involved in artemisinin biosynthesis.The promoter variation in DBR2L affects its expression level,and thereby may result in the different yield of artemisinin in varieties of A.annua.It provides a novel insight into the mechanism of artemisinin-producing difference in LAP and HAP chemotypes of A.annua,and will assist in a high yield of artemisinin in A.annua.Xingwen Wang Lan Wu Li Xiang Ranran Gao Qinggang Yin Mengyue Wang Zhaoyu Liu Liang Leng Yanyan Su Huihua Wan Tingyu Ma Shilin Chen Yuhua Shi 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,9:0
