2FKF1 F-box protein promotes flowering in part by negatively regulating DELLA protein stability under long-day photoperiod in Arabidopsis^FA显示文摘FLAVIN-BINDING KELCH REPEAT F-BOX 1(FKF1)encodes an F-box protein that regulates photoperiod flowering in Arabidopsis under long-day conditions(LDs).Gibberellin(GA)is also important for regulating flowering under LDs.However,how FKF1 and the GA pathway work in concert in regulating flowering is not fully understood.Here,we showed that the mutation of FKF1 could cause accumulation of DELLA proteins,which are crucial repressors in GA signaling pathway,thereby reducing plant sensitivity to GA in flowering.Both in vitro and in vivo biochemical analyses demonstrated that FKF1 directly interacted with DELLA proteins.Furthermore,we showed that FKF1 promoted ubiquitination and degradation of DELLA proteins.Analysis of genetic data revealed that FKF1 acted partially through DELLAs to regulate flowering under LDs.In addition,DELLAs exerted a negative feedback on FKF1 expression.Collectively,these findings demonstrate that FKF1 promotes flowering partially by negatively regulating DELLA protein stability under LDs,and suggesting a potential mechanism linking the FKF1 to the GA signaling DELLA proteins.Jindong Yan Xinmei Li Bingjie Zeng Ming Zhong Jiaxin Yang Piao Yang Xin Li Chongsheng He Jianzhong Lin Xuanming Liu Xiaoying Zhao 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,11:8
3A combination of follicle stimulating hormone, estradiol and age is associated with the pregnancy outcome for women undergoing assisted reproduction: a retrospective cohort analysis显示文摘To investigate the effect of basal hormone levels including follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) and estradiol(E2) and age on the pregnancy outcomes in women undergoing in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET), we designed a retrospective cohort analysis and collected information of patients undergoing IVF between January 2014 and April 2017. We found that young women had much better pregnancy outcomes than older women regardless of the hormone levels. The pregnancy outcomes declined in young women with high basal E2, even though they had normal FSH. Older women with higher FSH had a worse outcome of pregnancy, especially with increased E2 level. The results suggest that a combination of FSH, E2 and age could effectively predict the pregnancy outcome for women undergoing IVF-ET, and we should encourage infertile women with diminished ovarian reserve, especially young infertile women, to try the assisted reproduction as early as possible. 4Physical and mechanical properties of hot-press sintering ternary CM_2A_8(CaMg_2Al_(16)O_(27))and C_2M_2A_(14)(Ca_2Mg_2Al_(28)O_(46))ceramics显示文摘The new ternary CM_2A_8(CaMg_2Al_(16)O_(27))and C_2M_2A_(14)(Ca_2Mg_2Al_(28)O_(46))pure and dense ceramics were first prepared by a hot-press sintering technique,and their physical and mechanical properties were investigated.The purity of obtained CM_2A_8 and C_2M_2A_(14) ceramics reaches 98.1 wt%and 97.5 wt%,respectively.Their microstructure is dense with few observable pores,and their grain size is about a few dozen microns.For their physical properties,the average apparent porosity of CM_2A_8 and C_2M_2A_(14) ceramics is 0.18% and 0.13%,and their average bulk density is 3.66 g/cm^3 and 3.71 g/cm^3,respectively.The relative density of CM_2A_8 ceramic is 98.12%and that of C_2M_2A_(14)ceramic is 98.67%.The thermal expansivity(50–1400℃)of CM_2A_8 and C_2M_2A_(14) ceramics is 9.24×10^(–6)K^(–1) and 8.92×10^(–6)K^(–1),respectively.The thermal conductivity of CM_2A_8 and C_2M_2A_(14) ceramic is 21.32 W/(m·K)and 23.25 W/(m·K)at 25℃and 18.76 W/(m·K)and 19.42 W/(m·K)as temperature rises to 350℃,respectively.In addition,the mechanical properties are also achieved.For CM_2A_8 ceramic,the flexural strength is 248 MPa,the fracture toughness is 2.17 MPa·m^(1/2),and the Vickers hardness is 12.26 GPa.For C_2M_2A_(14) ceramic,the flexural strength is 262 MPa,the fracture toughness is 2.23 MPa·m^(1/2),and the Vickers hardness is 12.95 GPa.Bin LI Guangqi LI Haiyang CHEN Junhong CHEN Xinmei HOU Yong LI 2018Journal of Advanced Ceramics2018,7,3:4
5Research Progress of Refractory High Entropy Alloys:A Review显示文摘Owing to superior comprehensive performance than conventional superalloys at high temperature,refractory high entropy alloy(RHEA)is becoming a promising candidate for the next generation high-temperature material.Herein,contemporary aspects of corresponding development of RHEAs are reviewed to discuss various factors affecting the organization structure and service performance.It mainly covers alloying system and strengthening mechanism,the preparation method,plastic deformation and the related mechanism,as well as microstructure control by heat treatment.Firstly,the alloy systems and strengthening mechanism are introduced.This is followed by different preparation methods and the comparison of strengths and shortcomings based on different RHEAs.Then,hot deformation behavior and plastic deformation under different loadings are analyzed.Based on this,the influence of heat treatment on microstructures prior to and after the deformation is further summarized.Finally,some important research areas to be carried out in future are pointed out.This review will give a deep understanding of the effects of different factors on the service performance and provide scientific guide in designing RHEAs with improved performance.Xiaochang Xie Neng Li Wei Liu Shuai Huang Xiaoyong He Qiuying Yu Huaping Xiong Enhui Wang Xinmei Hou 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,6:4
6Facile fabrication of three-dimensional interconnected nanoporous N-TiO_2 for efficient photoelectrochemical water splitting显示文摘Three-dimensional(3 D) interconnected porous architectures are expected to perform well in photoelectrochemical(PEC) water splitting due to their high specific surface area as well as favourable porous properties and interconnections. In this work, we demonstrated the facile fabrication of 3 D interconnected nanoporous N-doped TiO_2(N-TiO_2 network) by annealing the anodized 3 D interconnected nanoporous TiO_2(TiO_2 network) in ammonia atmosphere. The obtained N-TiO_2 network exhibited broadened light absorption, and abundant, interconnected pores for improving charge separation, which was supported by the reduced charge transfer resistance. 7Mechanism underlying the retarded nuclear translocation of androgen receptor splice variants显示文摘As shown in our previous study, two alternatively spliced androgen receptor(AR) variants, which are exclusively expressed in the granulosa cells of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome, exhibit retarded nuclear translocation compared with wild-type AR. However, researchers have not yet determined whether these abnormalities correlate with heat shock protein 90(HSP90)and importin α(the former is a generally accepted co-chaperone of AR, and the latter is a component of classical nuclear import complexes). Here, these two variants were mainly retained in cytoplasm with HSP90 and importin α in the presence of dihydrotestosterone(DHT), and their levels in nucleus were significantly reduced, according to the immunofluorescence staining. The binding affinity of two AR variants for importin α was consistently decreased, while it was increased in WT-AR following DHT stimulation, leading to reduced nuclear import, particularly for the insertion-AR(Ins-AR). However, the binding affinities of two AR variants for HSP90 were increased in the absence of DHT compared with WT-AR, which functioned to maintain spatial structural stability, particularly for the deletion-AR(Del-AR). 9Synthesis of Al_(4)SiC_(4) powders via carbothermic reduction: Reaction and grain growth mechanisms显示文摘Highly pure Al_(4)SiC_(4) powders were prepared by carbothermic reduction at 2173 K using Al_(2)O_(3),SiO_(2),and graphite as raw materials.The obtained Al_(4)SiC_(4) powders owned hexagonal plate-like grains with a diameter of about 200-300μm and a thickness of about 2-6μm.Based on the experimental results,the reaction of Al_(4)SiC_(4) formation and grain evolution mechanisms were determined from thermodynamic and first-principles calculations.The results indicated that the synthesis of Al_(4)SiC_(4) by the carbothermic reduction consisted of two parts,i.e.,solid-solid reactions initially followed by complex gas-solid and gas-gas reactions.The grain growth mechanism of Al_(4)SiC_(4) featured a two-dimensional nucleation and growth mechanism.The gas phases formed during the sintering process favored the preferential grain growth of(0010)and(110)planes resulting in formation of hexagonal plate-like Al_(4)SiC_(4) grains.Xinming XING Junhong CHEN Guoping BEI Bin LI Kuo-Chih CHOU Xinmei HOU 2017Journal of Advanced Ceramics2017,6,4:3
10Tight lower bound of consecutive lengths for QC-LDPC codes with girth at least ten显示文摘For an arbitrary (3,L) quasi-cyclic(QC) low-density parity-check (LDPC) code with girth at least ten, a tight lower bound of the consecutive lengths is presented. For an arbitrary length above the bound the corresponding LDPC code necessarily has a girth at least ten, and for the length equal to the bound, the resultant code inevitably has a girth smaller than ten. 11定量分析乳腺癌术后化疗前外周血多药耐药基因的检测及其临床意义的研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: To explore expressions of multidrug resistance gene (MDR) product P170 and peripheral blood MDR1 mRNA in breast cancer tissue and their clinical significances. Methods: Fluorescent quantitative RT-PCR and immunohis-tochemistry were used to detect peripheral blood MDR1 mRNA before chemotherapy in breast cancer tissue samples from 32 cases with P170 positive (trial group) and 11 cases with P170 negative (control group). Results: There were 14 cases (43.75%) peripheral blood MDR1 mRNA positive and 18 cases (56.25%) negative in 32 cases P170 positive breast cancer pa-tients, while there were 6 cases (54.55%) peripheral blood MDR1 mRNA positive and 5 cases (45.45%) negative in 11 cases P170 negative breast cancer patients; there wasn't a significance difference with peripheral blood MDR1 mRNA express rate in P170 positive (43.75%) group and P170 negative (54.55%) group (χ2 = 0.383, P > 0.05). There were 12 cases (37.50%) Her-2 positive and 20 cases (62.50%) negative in P170 positive group; there were 2 cases (18.18%) Her-2 positive and 9 cases (81.82%) negative in P170 negative group; there wasn't a significance difference with Her-2 positive rate in P170 posi-tive group (37.50%) and P170 negative (18.18%) group (χ2 = 1.391, P > 0.05). There were 13 cases (40.63%) ER positive and 19 cases (59.37%) negative in P170 positive group; there were 7 cases (63.64%) ER positive and 4 cases (36.36%) negative in P170 negative group; there wasn't a significance difference with ER positive rate in P170 positive group (40.63%) and P170 negative (63.64) group (χ2 = 1.742, P > 0.05). There were 20 cases (62.50%) PR positive and 12 cases (37.50%) negative in P170 positive group; there were 4 cases (36.36%) PR positive and 7 cases (63.64%) negative in P170 negative group; there wasn't a significance difference with PR positive rate in P170 positive group (62.50%) and P170 negative (36.36%) group (χ2 = 2.267, P > 0.05). There were 9 cases (28.12%) with lymphaden metastasis and 23 cases (71.88%) without lymphaden metastasis in P170 positive group; there were 5 cases (45.45%) with lymphaden metastasis and 6 cases (54.55%) without lymphaden metastasis in P170 negative group; there wasn't a significance difference with lymphaden metastasis rate in P170 positive group (28.12%) and P170 negative (45.45%) group (χ2 = 1.120, P > 0.05). Conclusion: 1) There were possibly MDR expressing infrequently in carcinoma tissue and peripheral blood before chemotherapy. 2) FQ-RT-PCR for detecting of periph-eral blood MDR1 mRNA is special, sensitive and reliable. 17Evaluation of tomato fruit quality response to water and nitrogen management under alternate partial root-zone irrigation显示文摘A pot experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different water and nitrogen supply amounts on the comprehensive assessment of tomato fruit quality and root growth parameters under alternate partial root-zone irrigation.Three upper irrigation limitations(i.e.70%(W1),80%(W2)and 90%(W3)of field capacity,respectively)and three N-fertilizer levels(i.e.0.18(N1),0.30(N2)and 0.42(N3)g/kg soil,respectively)were arranged with a randomized complete block design,and alternate partial root-zone irrigation method was applied.Results showed that fruit yields under deficit irrigation(W1 and W2)were decreased by 6.9%and 2.0%respectively compared with W3 under N1 level.Yields of tomato under W1N1 and W1N2 combinations were also reduced by 10.3%and 7.2%,respectively compared with W1N3 combination.Root dry weight,root length,root surface area and root volume were all increased in W1N2 treatment.According to two-way ANOVA,the root parameters except root dry weight,were extremely sensitive to water,nitrogen and the cross effect of the two factors.TSS(total soluble solids),SS(soluble sugars)and OA(organic acid)in the fruits increased with the decrease in irrigation water,OA and NC reduced with decreasing amount of nitrogen.Moreover,within an appropriate range,as more irrigation water and nitrogen were applied,the higher VC(vitamin C)and lycopene contents were identified in the fruits.Eventually,the combinational evaluation method(i.e.entropy method and gray relational analysis)showed that W2N2 ranked highest in comprehensive fruit quality.Therefore,considering the tradeoff between fruit comprehensive quality and yields,upper irrigation limitation of 80%θf and N-fertilizer of 0.30 g/kg soil with alternate partial root-zone irrigation was the optimal cultivation strategy for the greenhouse tomato in autumn-winter season in northwest China.Yang Hui Cao Hongxia Hao Xinmei Guo Lijie Li Hongzheng Wu Xuanyi 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,5:1

20Boosting the cycling stability of rechargeable magnesium batteries by regulating the compatibility between nanostructural metal sulfide cathodes and non-nucleophilic electrolytes显示文摘Rechargeable magnesium batteries are attractive candidates for energy storage due to their high theoretical specific capacities,free of dendrite formation and natural abundance of magnesium.However,the development of magnesium secondary batteries is severely limited by the lack of high-performance cathode materials and the incompatibility of electrode materials with electrolytes.Herein,we report the application of CuS nanoflower cathode material based on the conversion reaction mechanism for highly reversible magnesium batteries with boosted electrochemical performances by adjusting the compatibility between the cathode and electrolyte.By applying non-nucleophilic electrolytes based on magnesium bis(hexamethyldisilazide)and magnesium chloride dissolved in the mixed solvent of tetrahydrofuran and N-butyl-N-methyl-piperidinium bis((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)imide(Mg(HMDS)_(2)-MgCl_(2)/THF-PP14TFSI)or magnesium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide,magnesium chloride and aluminium chloride dissolved in dimethoxyethane(Mg(TFSI)2-MgCl_(2)-AlCl_(3)/DME),the magnesium batteries with CuS nanoflower cathode exhibit a high discharge capacity of~207 mAh·g^(–1)at 100 mA·g^(–1)and a long life span of 1,000 cycles at 500 mA·g^(–1).This work suggests that the rational regulation of compatibility between electrode and electrolyte plays a very important role in improving the performance of multi-valent ion secondary batteries.Xiaolan Xue Xinmei Song Anyang Tao Wen Yan Xiao Li Zhang Zuoxiu Tie Zhong Jin 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:1
