2Scalable microfabrication of three-dimensional porous interconnected graphene scaffolds with carbon spheres for high-performance all carbon-based micro-supercapacitors显示文摘As one of the most important micro energy storage devices(MESDs),graphene-based micro-supercapacitors(G-MSCs)possess the advantages of excellent flexibility,long cycle life,affordability and high reliability.In most cases,constructing three-dimensional(3D)graphene networks is widely utilized to promote the permeation of electrolyte and enhance the utilization of active materials.In this work,conventional freeze-drying process is utilized in the fabrication of G-MSCs to constitute 3D interconnected networks micro-electrodes,and further by regulating the composition of inks,carbon spheres(CSs)at different mass loadings are introduced into the graphene scaffolds to further increase the active sites of the micro-electrodes.The fabricated all carbon-based MSC with the optimal mass loading of CSs(0.406 mg cm^(-2))exhibits a high specific areal capacitance of 17.01mF cm^(-2)at the scan rate of 10mV s^(-1)and a capacitance retention of 93.14%after 10000 cycles at the scan rate of 500 mV s^(-1).The proposed microfabrication process is facile and fully compatible with modern microtechnologies and will be highly suitable for large-scale production and integration.Yiming Chen Minghao Guo Liang He Wei Yang Lin Xu Jiashen Meng Xiaocong Tian Xinyu Ma Qiang Yu Kaichun Yang Xufeng Hong Liqiang Mai 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,2:6
3Ultra-high-Q resonances in terahertz all-silicon metasurfaces based on bound states in the continuum显示文摘High-Q metasurfaces have important applications in high-sensitivity sensing,low-threshold lasers,and nonlinear optics due to the strong local electromagnetic field enhancements.Although ultra-high-Q resonances of bound states in the continuum(BIC)metasurfaces have been rapidly developed in the optical regime,it is still a challenging task in the terahertz band for long years because of absorption loss of dielectric materials,design,and fabrication of nanostructures,and the need for high-signal-to-noise ratio and high-resolution spectral measurements.Here,a polarization-insensitive quasi-BIC resonance with a high-Q factor of 1049 in a terahertz all-silicon metasurface is experimentally achieved,exceeding the current highest record by 3 times of magnitude.And by using this ultra-high-Q metasurface,a terahertz intensity modulation with very low optical pump power is demonstrated.The proposed all-silicon metasurface can pave the way for the research and development of high-Q terahertz metasurfaces.PENGFEI WANG FENGYAN HE JIANJUN LIU FANGZHOU SHU BIN FANG TINGTING LANG XUFENG JING ZHI HONG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,12:4

5Resonant transparency of a planar anapole metamaterial at terahertz frequencies显示文摘Anapole metamaterials have attracted growing attention in recent years due to their unique nonradiating and nontrivial properties. Although anapole modes have been demonstrated in metamaterials with threedimensional structures, the design and realization of planar anapole metamaterials in a wide frequency range is still a big challenge. Here we propose and experimentally demonstrate a planar anapole metamaterial consisting of dumbbell-shaped apertures on a stainless-steel sheet at terahertz frequencies. The planar metamaterial can generate a resonant transparency in the terahertz spectrum due to the excitation of the anapole mode.Particularly, the frequency of anapole-induced resonant transparency can be tuned easily in the range of 0.15–0.93 THz by simply varying one geometric parameter of the dumbbell apertures. 6Free control of far-field scattering angle of transmission terahertz wave using multilayer split-ring resonators'metasurfaces显示文摘To enhance transmission eficiency of Pancharatnam Berry(PB)phase metasurfaces,multilayer split-ring resonators were proposed to develop encoding sequences.As per the generalized Snell's law,the deflection angle of the PB phase encoding metasurfaces depends on the metasurface period's size.Therefore,it is impossible to design an infinitesimal metasurface unit;consequently,the continuous transmission scattering angle cannot be obtained.In digital signal processing,this study introduces the Fourier convolution principle on encoding metasurface sequences to freely control the trausmitted scattering angles.Both addition and subtraction operations between two diferent encoding sequences were then performed to achieve the continuous variation of the scattering angle.Furthermore,we established that the Fourier convolution principle can be applied to the checkerboard coded metasur-faces.Ying Tian Xufeng Jing Haiyong Gan Chenxia Li Zhi Hong 2020Frontiers of physics2020,15,6:2

8Boosting the electrochemical performance and reliability of conducting polyme microelectrode via intermediate graphene for on-chip asymmetric micro-supercapacitor显示文摘High-performance anode is hurdle for on-chip planar microsupercapacitor(MSC).Polypyrrole(PPy)is a highly attractive pseudocapacitive material,but its low cycling stability,and low adhesion with current collector hinder its practicability.Herein we propose one-prong generic strategy to boost the cycling stability of PPy.For our strategy,the electrochemical deposition of multilayered reduced graphene oxide(rGO)on micropatterned Au is utilized,and the resultant rGO@Au pattern is then used for growing highly porous PPy nanostructures by facile electrochemical polymerization.The fabricated PPy anode on rGO@Au has quasi rectangular cyclic voltammetry curves up to-0.7 V and exceptional cycling stability,retaining82%of capacitance after 10,000 charge/discharge cycles in 2 M KCl electrolyte.The outstanding reliability of PPy on rGO@Au is due to the flexibility of rGO,accommodating structural pulverization and providing a promising background for the nucleation of highly porous nanostructure.Further,an all-polymer based asymmetric aqueous MSC(AMSC)is constructed with PPy anode and PEDOT cathode,which exhibited excellent electrochemical performance compared with conventional symmetric MSCs based on conducting polymers.The constructed AMSC delivered a maximum areal capacitance of 15.9 m F cm^-2(99.3 F cm^-3),high specific energy and power densities of 4.3μWh cm^-2(27.03 mWh cm^-3)and 0.36 W cm^-2(0.68 W cm^-3)at 1.4 V,respectively.The enhanced electrochemical performances can be illustrated by nucleation mechanism,in which surface topology of r GO generates a promising background for nucleation and electrochemical growth of nanoporous pseudocapacitive conducting polymers with superior interfacial contact and improved surface area.Muhammad Tahir Liang He Wei Yang Xufeng Hong Waqas Ali Haider Hui Tang Zhe Zhu Kwadwo Asare Owusu Liqiang Mai 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10:1
9Broadband cross-circular polarization carpet cloaking based on a phase change material metasurface in the mid-infrared region显示文摘In view of the fact that most invisibility devices focus on linear polarization cloaking and that the characteristics of mid-infrared cloaking are rarely studied,we propose a cross-circularly polarized invisibility carpet cloaking device in the mid-infrared band.Based on the Pancharatnam–Berry phase principle,the unit cells with the cross-circular polarization gradient phase were carefully designed and constructed into a metasurface.In order to achieve tunable cross-circular polarization carpet cloaks,a phase change material is introduced into the design of the unit structure.When the phase change material is in amorphous and crystalline states,the proposed metasurface unit cells can achieve highefficiency cross-polarization conversion,and reflection intensity can be tuned.According to the phase compensation principle of carpet cloaking,we construct a metasurface cloaking device with a phase gradient using the designed unit structure.From the near-and far-field distributions,the cross-circular polarization cloaking property is confirmed in the broadband wavelength range of 9.3–11.4μm.The proposed cloaking device can effectively resist detection of cross-circular polarization.Bo Fang Dantian Feng Peng Chen Lijiang Shi Jinhui Cai Jianmin Li Chenxia Li Zhi Hong Xufeng Jing 2022Frontiers of physics2022,17,5:1
10In-situ selective surface engineering of graphene micro-supercapacitor chips显示文摘Surface modification of graphene oxide(GO)is a powerful strategy to develop its energy density for electrochemical energy storage.However,pre-modified GO always exhibits unsatisfactory hydrophilia and its ink-relevant utilization is extremely limited.Although GO ink is widely utilized in fabricating micro energy storage devices via extrusion-based 3D-printing,simultaneously obtaining satisfactory hydrophilia and high energy density still remains a challenge.In this work,an in-situ surface engineering strategy was employed to enhance the performance of GO micro-supercapacitor chips.Three dimensionally printed GO micro-supercapacitor chips were treated with pyrrole monomer to achieve selective and spontaneous anchoring of polypyrrole on the microelectrodes without affecting interspaces between the finger electrodes.The interface-reinforced graphene scaffolds were edge-welded and exhibited a considerably improved specific capacitance,from 13.6 to 128.4 mF·cm^(-2).These results are expected to provide a new method for improving the performance of micro-supercapacitors derived from GO inks and further strengthen the practicability of 3D printing techniques in fabricating energy storage devices.Yiming Chen Minghao Guo Lin Xu Yuyang Cai Xiaocong Tian Xiaobin Liao Zhaoyang Wang Jiashen Meng Xufeng Hong Liqiang Mai 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:0
11Reversal Efficacy of SDZ-PSC833 and Verapamil on Drug-Resistant Human Cervical Carcinoma Cells Line显示文摘This article discusses the characteristics of the drugresistant human cervical carcinoma cell line HeLa/MMC and investigates reversal effect of SDZ-PSC833(PSC833) and Verapamil (Ver) upon HeLa/MMC. Relative content of cell DNA detection, H^3-TdR incorporation test and drug-resistance have been experimented, meanwhile a tumor transplant model in the nude mice for Hela/MMC has been established. Then the volume of cancer, tumor weight, curve line of growing up in tumor -bearing nude mouse and its morphological variation of carcinoma organism are observed to evaluate the reversal effect of PSC833 and VER. It has been found that: ① Compared with HeLa cells,subline HeLa/ MMC Cells' drug-resistant capability against Mitomycin(MMC) or cisplatin(DDP) is as 5.02 folds or 2 folds as that of the former, respectively. 13Ultrathin Metal Silicate Hydroxide Nanosheets with Moderate Metal-Oxygen Covalency Enables Efficient Oxygen Evolution显示文摘Exploring efficient,cost-effective,and durable electrocatalysts for electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is pivotal for the large-scale application of water electrolysis.Recent advance has demonstrated that the activity of electrocatalysts exhibits a strong dependence on the surface electronic structure.Herein,a series of ultrathin metal silicate hydroxide nanosheets(UMSHNs)M_(3)Si_(2)O_(5)(OH)_(4)(M=Fe,Co,and Ni)synthesized without surfactant are introduced as highly active OER electrocatalysts.Cobalt silicate hydroxide nanosheets show an optimal OER activity with overpotentials of 287 and 358 m V at 1 and 10 m A cm^(-2),respectively.Combining experimental and theoretical studies,it is found that the OER activity of UMSHNs is dominated by the metal-oxygen covalency(MOC).High OER activity can be achieved by having a moderate MOC as reflected by aσ^(*)-orbital(e_(g))filling near unity and moderate[3d]/[2p]ratio.Moreover,the UMSHNs exhibit favorable chemical stability under oxidation potential.This contribution provides a scientific guidance for further development of active metal silicate hydroxide catalysts.Jiexin Zhu Shikun Li Zechao Zhuang Shan Gao Xufeng Hong Xuelei Pan Ruohan Yu Liang Zhou Lyudmila V.Moskaleva Liqiang Mai 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,1:0
14Attenuated plasmodium sporozoite expressing MAGE-A3 induces antigen-specific CD8+ T cell response against lung cancer in mice显示文摘Objective: Cancer vaccines that rely on tumor antigen-specific CD8^+ T cell responses, are promising anti-cancer adjuvant immunotherapies. This study investigated whether genetically attenuated Plasmodium sporozoite(GAS) could be used as a novel vector to induce antigen-specific CD8^+ T cell responses against lung cancer.Methods: We constructed GAS/MAGE-A3, a recombinant GAS engineered to express the lung cancer-specific antigen, melanomaassociated antigen 3(MAGE-A3), and assessed its therapeutic effects against lung cancer.Results: Robust parasite-specific CD8αlow CD11ahigh and CD49dhigh CD11ahigh CD4^+ T cell responses as well as a MAGE-A3-specific CD8^+ T cell response were induced in GAS/MAGE-A3-immunized mice. 15The uncertainty analysis of the MODIS GPP product in global maize croplands显示文摘Gross primary productivity (GPP)is very important in the global carbon cycle.Currently,the newly released estimates of 8-day GPP at 500m spatial resolution (Collection 6)are provided by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS)Land Science Team for the global,land surface via the improved light use efficiency (LUE)model.However,few studies have evaluated its performance.In this study,the MODIS GPP products (GPPMoD)were compared with the observed GPP (GPPEc)values from site-level eddy covariance measurements over seven maize flux sites in different areas around the world.The results indicate that the annual GPPMoD was underestimated by 6%-58% across sites.Nevertheless,after incorporating the para- meters of the calibrated LUE,the measurements of meteorological variables and the reconstructed Fractional Photosynthetic Active Radiation (FPAR)into the GPPMoo algorithm in steps,the accuracies of GPPMoD estimates were improved greatly,albeit to varying degrees.The differences between the GPPMoD and the GPPEc were primarily due to the magnitude of LUE and FPAR.The underestimate of maize cropland LUE was a widespread problem which exerted the largest impact on the GPPMoD algorithm.In American and European sites,the perfor- mance of the FPAR exhibited distinct differences in capturing vegetation GPP during the growing season due to the canopy heterogeneity.In addition,at the DE-KIi site, the GPPMoD abruptly produced extreme low values during the growing season because of the contaminated FPAR from a continuous rainy season.After correcting the noise of the FPAR,the accuracy of the GPPMoD was improved by approximately 14%.Therefore,it is crucial to furtherimprove the accuracy of global GPPMOD,especially for the maize crop ecosystem,to maintain food security and better understand global carbon cycle.Xiaojuan HUANG Mingguo MA Xufeng WANG Xuguang TANG Hong YANG 2018Frontiers of Earth Science2018,12,4:0
16Combination of C-reactive protein and fibrinogen is useful for diagnosing periprosthetic joint infection in patients with inflammatory diseases显示文摘Background:The screening of periprosthetic joint infection(PJI)in patients with inflammatory diseases before revision arthroplasty remains uncertain.Serum C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),plasma fbrinogen(FIB),monocyte/lymphocyte ratio,and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)can help screening PJI,but their values in patients with infammatory diseases have not been determined.Methods:Patients with inflammatory diseases who underwent revision hip or knee arthroplasty at West China Hospital,Sichuan University,from January 2008 to September 2020 were divided into infected and non-infected groups based on the 2013 International Consensus Meeting criteria.Sensitivity and specificity of the tested biomarkers for diagnosing infection were determined based on receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves,and optimal cutoffs were determined based on the Y ouden index.The diagnostic ability of these biomarkers was re-assessed after combining them with each other.Results:A total of 62 patients with inflammatory diseases were studied;of them 30 were infected.The area under the ROC curve was 0.813 for CRP,0.638 for ESR,0.795 for FIB,and 0.656 for NLR.The optimal predictive cutoff of CRP was 14.04 mg/L with a sensitivity of 86.2%and a specificity of 68.7%,while FIB had a sensitivity of 72.4%and a specificity of 81.2%with the optimal predictive cutoff of 4.04 g/L.The combinations of CRP with FIB produced a sensitivity of 86.2%and specificity of 78.1%.Conclusion:CRP with a slightly higher predictive cutoff and FIB are useful for screening PJI in patients with inflammatory diseases,and the combination of CRP and FIB may further improve the diagnostic values.Hong Xu Jinwei Xie Xufeng Wan Li Liu Duan Wang Zongke Zhou 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,16:0
17Improvement of terahertz beam modulation efficiency for baseless all-dielectric coded gratings显示文摘Optical metasurfaces are two-dimensional ultrathin devices based on single-layer or multilayer arrays of subwave-length nanostructures. They can achieve precise control of phase, amplitude, and polarization on the subwave-length scale. In this paper, a substrate-free all-silicon coded grating is designed, which can realize the phase control of the outgoing beam after the y-polarized plane wave is vertically incident on the metasurface at 0.1 THz.Through a single-layer silicon nanoarray structure, a low-reflection anomalous transmission metasurface is realized, and a variety of different beam deflectors are designed based on these encoded gratings. We propose a coded grating addition principle, which adds and subtracts two traditional coded grating sequences to obtain a new coded grating sequence. The encoded supergrating can flexibly control the scattering angle, and the designed substrate-free all-silicon encoded grating can achieve a deflection angle of 48.59°. In order to verify the principle of coded grating addition, we experimented with cascade operation of two coded sequence gratings to obtain the flexible control of the terahertz beam of the composite supergrating. The principle of grating addition provides a new degree of freedom for the flexible regulation of the terahertz wavefront. 18Flexible tuning of multifocal holographic imaging based on electronically controlled metasurfaces显示文摘Programmable hyper-coded holography has the advantage of being programmable as well as being flexibly modifiable.Digitally coded metamaterials with excellent electromagnetic modulation capability and the ability to control the phase to modulate the spatial radiation field through external excitation in the form of switching can be used to realize low-cost digital arrays.We design a 1-bit encoded programmable metasurface,which is electrically connected to control the PIN diode in the switching state and to switch the condition of each metasurface cell between“0”and“1.”Using the designed programmable metasurface,we can randomly encode the cell structure to realize single-focus focusing,multi-focusing,and simple holographic letter imaging.Based on the nonlinear holographic model,we employ the Gerchberg-Saxton improvement algorithm to modulate the energy distribution at the focus by adjusting the phase distribution.Importantly,we introduce the Fourier convolution principle to regulate the holographic imaging focus flexibly.OWEN ZENG CHENXIA LI BO FANG ZHI HONG XUFENG JING 2024Photonics Research2024,12,1:0
19Relationship Research of PPAR-γ Gene Polymorphisms with Adiponectin and Leptin in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus显示文摘Objective:To investigate the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (peroxisome)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Proliferators-activated receptors-γ ,PPARs-γ (γ )gene.polymorphisms about serum lipofuscin and leptin.Methods:One humdred and twenty patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to our hospital from June 2015 to June 2018 were selected.The patients were divided into an obese group and a non-obese group of 60 patients each according to their waist circumference.A polymerase chain reaction-length polymorphism protocol was implemented in all patients to explore the PPAR-γ gene polymorphism and blood glucose,lipid,adiponectin and leptin levels were measured in both groups.Results:PPAR-γ gene polymorphisms in type 2 diabetic patients were dominated by wild-type homozygous;The levels of total cholesterol,triglyceride and LDL cholesterol in the obese group were significantly higher than those in the non-obese group,while the levels of HDL cholesterol were lower than those in the non-obese group.There is significant difference in comparison between groups(P<0.05)Those canrying the A alele had a significant lipid disorder profile and decreased adiponectin levels.Conclusions:PPAR-γ gene polymorphisms in type 2 diabetes are not significantly associated with adiponectin and leptin,and only in the obese group,the patients with the Allele A showed significant dyslipidemia and a declining trend of adiponectin levels.Jia Feng Shujin Wang Hong Zuo Xufeng Liu Guohong Li Niou Yu 2020Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2020,4,4:0
