| 1 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 2 | Quality metrology of carbon nanotube thin films and its application for carbon nanotube-based electronics显示文摘Large area,highly uniform,and density controllable carbon nanotube(CNT)films,either well-aligned or random network,are required for practical application of CNT-based electronics.Mass production methods for such CNT films and corresponding quality metrology,which are critical for pushing the CNT-based transistor technology to manufacturing,should be developed in advance.Much progress has been made on fabrication of CNT films;however,there still lacks a metrology for thoroughly quantifying their quality until now.In this paper,through comparing study of CNT films fabricated by dip-coating(DC)and direct deposition(DD)methods,local anisotropy in the film is revealed to impact the performance uniformity of devices so fabricated in a spatial scale dependent manner.The anisotropy effect should be taken into account for the quality characterization of CNT films,which was not noticed in previous studies.Based on these findings,we propose a four-parameter metrology to quantify the overall quality of the CNT films,which includes the local tube density(DL),global density uniformity(Cv),local degree of order(OL),and the relative tube proportion in a certain orientation(Pθ)at a location.The four-parameter characterization and corresponding device performance confirm DC films are superior to DD films for practical application.The four-parameter metrology is not only powerful for overall quality evaluation of CNT films,but also able to predict the fluctuation of devices’performance.Therefore,this material metrology is important for devices and circuits design and valuable for pushing the CNT-based transistor technology forward. | Jie Zhao Lijun Shen Fang Liu Pan Zhao Qi Huang Hua Han Lianmao Peng Xuelei Liang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,6: | 4 |
| 3 | Serrated lithium fluoride nanofibers-woven interlayer enables uniform lithium deposition for lithium-metal batteries显示文摘The uncontrollable formation of Li dendrites has become the biggest obstacle to the practical application of Li-metal anodes in high-energy rechargeable Li batteries.Herein,a unique LiF interlayer woven by millimeter-level,single-crystal and serrated LiF nanofibers(NFs)was designed to enable dendrite-free and highly efficient Li-metal deposition.This high-conductivity Li F interlayer can increase the Li^(+)transference number and induce the formation of’Li F–NFs-rich’solid–electrolyte interface(SEI).In the’Li F–NFs-rich’SEI,the ultra-long Li F nanofibers provide a continuously interfacial Li^(+)transport path.Moreover,the formed Li–LiF interface between Li-metal and SEI film renders low Li nucleation and high Li^(+)migration energy barriers,leading to uniform Li plating and stripping processes.As a result,steady charge–discharge in a Li//Li symmetrical cell for 1600 h under 4 m Ah cm^(-2)and 400 stable cycles under a high area capacity of 5.65 mAh cm^(-2)in a high-loading Li//rGO–S cell at 17.9 mA cm^(-2)could be achieved.The free-standing LiF–NFs interlayer exhibits superior advantages for commercial Li batteries and displays significant potential for expanding the applications in solid Li batteries. | Shuangshuang Tan Yalong Jiang Shuyan Ni Hao Wang Fangyu Xiong Lianmeng Cui Xuelei Pan Chen Tang Yaoguang Rong Qinyou An Liqiang Mai | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,11: | 2 |

| 11 | Fabricating ion-conducting channel in SU-8 matrix for highperformance patternable polymer electrolytes显示文摘Advances in electrochemical energy storage technologies drive the need for battery safety performance and miniaturization,which calls for the easily processable polymer electrolytes suitable for on-chip microbattery technology.However,the low ionic conductivity of polymer electrolytes and poor-patternable capabilities hinder their application in microdevices.Herein,we modified SU-8,as the matrix material,by poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)with lithium salts to obtain a patternable lithium-ion polymer electrolyte.Due to the highly amorphous state and more Li-ion transport pathways through blending effect and the increase in number of epoxides,the ionic conductivity of achieved sample is increased by an order of magnitude to 2.9×10^(−4) S·cm^(−1) in comparison with the SU-8 sample at 50°C.The modified SU-8 exhibits good thermal stability(>150°C),mechanical properties(elastic modulus of 1.52 GPa),as well as an electrochemical window of 4.3 V.Half-cell and microdevice were fabricated and tested to verify the possibility of the micro-sized on-chip battery.All of these results demonstrate a promising strategy for the integration of on-chip batteries with microelectronics. | Tianzhao Li Xuelei Pan Zhongzhuo Yang Fang Liu Kesong Yu Lin Xu Liqiang Mai | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 0 |
