| 1 | Effects of Electroacupuncture of Different Intensities on Energy Metabolism of Mitochondria of Brain Cells in Rats with Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury显示文摘Objective:To observe the effects of electroacupuncture(EA)of different intensities on lactate dehydrogernase(LDH),succinate dehydrogenase(SDH)and ATPase in brain tissue of rats with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury(CI/R).Methods:Forty male SD rats were uniformly randomized into sham operation group(group A),CI/R group(group B),CI/R+5 mA EA(group C),CI/R+3 mA EA(group D)and CI/R+1 mA EA(group E)groups with eight rats in each group.Transient general brain ischemia was induced by four-vessel occlusion and reperfusion.The rats in group C,group D and group E were punctured and stimulated at Baihui(GV20),Mingmen(GV4)and Zusanli(ST36)with the same intermittent and rarefaction-dense wave(30 to 50 Hz)and different electdc current intensities:5 mA,3 mA and 1 mA for 20 min after CI/R.Then the activities of Na+-K+-ATPase,SDH and LDH in mitochondria of brain tissue were measured by spectrophotometry.The ischemic cerebral cortex tissue was taken for observing the ultrastructure changes of impaired nerve cells.Results:Compared with group A,the activities of LDH,SDH and Na+-K+-ATPase were Iowerer in the group B(P<0.05 or P<0.01).However,the activities of LDH,SDH and Na^+-K^+-ATPase were higher in the group D than those in the group B(P<0.05 or P<0.01).In group A,the anatomical structure of the cerebral cortex cells was basically normal;in group B,the neuronal cellular structures were severely damaged,the neuronal mitochondria got swelling,the mitochondrial cristae were broken,the medullated nerve fibers were not integrated.In group C,group D and group E,the ultrastructure of impaired neuron were improved.Group D was the best among three groups above.Conclusion:EA of 3 mA intensity could strengthen aerobic metabolism by elevating the activities of SDH and LDH,meanwhile maintaining the ionic equilibrium in the extedor and interior brain cell and relieving the cellular edema by reinforcing the activities of Na^+-K^+-ATPase. | 田伟千 Yong G Peng 崔苏扬 姚凤珍 李宝贵 | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2015,21,8: | 16 |
| 2 | Adenoid cystic carcinoma of breast: Recent advances显示文摘Adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC) of the breast is a rare special subtype of breast cancer characterized by the presence of a dual cell population of luminal and basaloid cells arranged in specific growth patterns. Most breast cancers with triple-negative, basal-like breast features(i.e., tumors that are devoid of estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 expression, and express basal cell markers) are generally high-grade tumors with an aggressive clinical course. Conversely, while ACCs also display a triple-negative, basal-like phenotype, they are usually low-grade and exhibit an indolent clinical behavior. Many discoveries regarding the molecular and genetic features of the ACC, including a specific chromosomal translocation t(6;9) that results in a MYB-NFIB fusion gene, have been made in recent years. | 4 | Analysis of CO_2 utilization into synthesis gas based on solar thermochemical CH_4-reforming显示文摘In this study, the solar thermochemical reactor performance for CO_2 utilization into synthesis gas(H_2+ CO) based on CH_4 reforming process was investigated in the context of carbon capture and utilization(CCU) technologies. The P1 radiation heat transfer model is adopted to establish the heat and mass transfer model coupled with thermochemical reaction kinetics. The reactor thermal behavior with direct heat transfer between gaseous reactant and products evolution and the effects of different structural parameters were evaluated. It was found that the reactor has the potential to utilize by ~60% of CO_2 captured with 40% of CH_4 co-fed into syngas(72.9% of H_2 and 27.1% of CO) at 741.31 k W/mof incident radiation heat flux. However, the solar irradiance heat flux and temperature distribution were found to significantly affect the reactant species conversion efficiency and syngas production. The chemical reaction is mainly driven by the thermal energy and higher species conversion into syngas was observed when the temperature distribution at the inner cavity of the reactor was more uniform. Designed a solar thermochemical reactor able to volumetric store concentrated irradiance could highly improve CCU technologies for producing energy-rich chemicals. Besides, the mixture gas inlet velocity, operating pressure and CO_2/CH_4 feeding ratio were crucial to determining the efficiency of CO_2 utilization to solar fuels. combinations are proposed where necessary to improve our traditional species concepts and provide updates on their classification.In addition to extensive morphological descriptions and appropriate asexual and sexual connections,DNA sequence data are also analysed from concatenated datasets(rDNA,TEF-a,RBP2 and b-Tubulin)to infer phylogenetic relationships and substantiate systematic position of taxa within appropriate ranks.Wherever new species or combinations are being proposed,we apply an integrative approach(morphological and molecular data as well as ecological features wherever applicable).Notes on 125 fungal taxa are compiled in this paper,including eight new genera,101 new species,two new combinations,one neotype,four reference specimens,new host or distribution records for eight species and one alternative morphs.The new genera introduced in this paper are Alloarthopyrenia,Arundellina,Camarosporioides,Neomassaria,Neomassarina,Neotruncatella,Paracapsulospora and | 9 | Rapid phenotypic evolution with shallow genomic differentiation during early stages of high elevation adaptation in Eurasian Tree Sparrows显示文摘Known as the‘third polar region’,the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau represents one of the harshest highland environments in the world and yet a number of organisms thrive there.Previous studies of birds,animals and humans have focused on well-differentiated populations in later stages of phenotypic divergence.The adaptive processes during the initial phase of highland adaptation remain poorly understood.We studied a human commensal,the Eurasian Tree Sparrow,which has followed human agriculture to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Despite strong phenotypic differentiation at multiple levels,in particular in muscle-related phenotypes,highland and lowland populations show shallow genomic divergence and the colonization event occurred within the past few thousand years.In a one-month acclimation experiment investigating phenotypic plasticity,we exposed adult lowland tree sparrows to a hypoxic environment and did not observe muscle changes.Through population genetic analyses,we identified a signature of polygenic adaptation,whereby shifts in allele frequencies are spread across multiple loci,many of which are associated with muscle-related processes.Our results reveal a case of positive selection in which polygenic adaptation appears to drive rapid phenotypic evolution,shedding light on early stages of adaptive evolution to a novel environment. | Yanhua Qu Chunhai Chen Ying Xiong Huishang She Yong E Zhang Yalin Cheng Shane DuBay Dongming Li Per G P Ericson Yan Hao Hongyuan Wang Hongfeng Zhao Gang Song Hailin Zhang Ting Yang Chi Zhang Liping Liang Tianyu Wu Jinyang Zhao Qiang Gao Weiwei Zhai Fumin Lei | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,1: | 2 |
