Analysis of PM2.5 concentrations in Heilongjiang Province associated with forest cover and other factors显示文摘Atmospheric particulate matter(PM2.5) seriously influences air quality. It is considered one of the main environmental triggers for lung and heart diseases. Air pollutants can be adsorbed by forest. In this study we investigated the effect of forest cover on urban PM2.5 concentrations in 12 cities in Heilongjiang Province,China. The forest cover in each city was constant throughout the study period. The average daily concentration of PM2.5 in 12 cities was below 75 lg/m^3 during the non-heating period but exceeded this level during heating period. Furthermore, there were more moderate pollution days in six cities. This indicated that forests had the ability to reduce the concentration of PM2.5 but the main cause of air pollution was excessive human interference and artificial heating in winter. We classified the 12 cities according to the average PM2.5 concentrations. The relationship between PM2.5 concentrations and forest cover was obtained by integrating forest cover, land area, heated areas and number of vehicles in cities. Finally, considering the complexity of PM2.5 formation and based on the theory of random forestry, we selected six cities and analyzed their meteorological and air pollutant data. The main factors affecting PM2.5 concentrations were PM10,NO_2, CO and SO_2 in air pollutants while meteorological factors were secondary. | Yu Zheng San Li Chuanshan Zou Xiaojian Ma Guocai Zhang | 2019 | Journal of Forestry Research2019,30,1: | 6
High-throughput sequencing analysis of the regulation of intestinal flora in giant pandas with indigestion using a probiotic agent LyPB显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the eff ect of LyPB on the intestinal microfl ora of giant pandas with indigestion, using high-throughput sequencing(HTS)technology. The species distribution and microfl oral density and diversity before and after administration of the LyPB probiotic agent were analyzed.LyPB evidently has the ability to adjust the fl oral imbalance in the panda’s intestine. To test the eff ects of LyPB on the microfl ora of the panda gut, fecal samples were taken from a healthy giant panda(Anan)without administration of LyPB and from a dyspeptic giant panda Yangyang before and after LyPB administration.Compared with the sample obtained from healthy Anan(anan-c)and that obtained from dyspeptic Yangyang before LyPB administration(yangyang1),the sample taken from Yangyang(yangyang2)after LyPB administration displayed a signifi cant increase in the operational taxonomic unit index. An increase in the Chao index indicated an increase in the microfl oral richness, while an increase in the Shannon index indicated an increase in microfl oral diversity. At phylum and genus levels,a signifi cant increase was observed in the density of probiotic bacteria of phylum fi rmicutes, genus Streptococcus, while a drastic reduction in the density of Escherichia coli/Escherichia coli Shigella/bacteria of genus Shigella was observed.Data obtained in this study shows that LyPB preparations successfully improve the microbial structure within the panda’s intestinal canal by signifi cantly increasing the eff ective microbial community and decreasing the number of pathogenic microbes. | Yu Zhang Zhi Zhang Jianzhang Ma Bo Luo Guiquan Zhang Guocai Zhang Kexin Yang Gang Wei | 2020 | Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,6: | 3
NUPR1 promotes the proliferation and metastasis of oral squamous cell carcinoma cells by activating TFE3-dependent autophagy显示文摘Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is the most common type of oral malignancy, and metastasis accounts for the poor prognosis of OSCC.Autophagy is considered to facilitate OSCC development by mitigating various cellular stresses;nevertheless, the mechanisms of autophagy in OSCC cell proliferation and metastasis remain unknown. In our study,high-sensitivity label-free quantitative proteomics analysis revealed nuclear protein 1(NUPR1)as the most significantly upregulated protein in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tumour samples derived from OSCC patients with or without lymphatic metastasis. | Tengfei Fan Xiaoning Wang Sheng Zhang Ping Deng Yi Jiang Yidan Liang Sheng Jie Qing Wang Chuwen Li Guocai Tian Zhen Zhang Zhenhu Ren Bo Li Yanrong Chen Zhijing He Yan Luo Mingliang Chen Hanjiang Wu Zhengping Yu Huifeng Pi Zhou Zhou Zhiyuan Zhang | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,5: | 2

The effects of electrical heating and additives on the microbial remediation of petroleum-contaminated soils显示文摘Although petroleum is an important source of energy and an economic driver of growth,it is also a major soil pollutant that has destroyed large swathes of vegetation and forest cover. Therefore,it is vital to develop affordable and efficient methods for the bioremediation of petroleum-contaminated forest soils to restore vegetation and improve tree survival rates. In this study, bioremediation experiments were performed in an electrically heated thermostatic reactor to test the effects of organic matter additives, surfactants, and oxygen providers of nine hydrocarbon-degrading fungal strains on crude oil removal rates. In the three soil temperatures tested(20℃,25℃,and 30℃),the highest average crude oil removal rate was at 25℃(74.8%)and the lowest at 30℃(49.4%).At each temperature, variations in the addition of organic matter and oxygen providers had significant effects on crude oil removal rate.Variations in surfactant addition was significant at 20℃ and 25℃ but insignificant at 30℃.Given the same surfactant treatment, variations in temperature, organic additives, and oxygen providers was significant for crude oil removal rate.Treatments without surfactants and treatments with Tween80 exhibited their highest crude oil removal rates at 25℃.However,treatments that included the SDS surfactant exhibited their highest crude oil removal rates at 30℃.Amongst the treatments without surfactants, treatments with corn cob addition had the highest crude oil removal rates, and with surfactants, treatments that included the organic fertilizer exhibited the highest crude oil removal rates.Given the same organic fertilizer treatment, the highest crude oil removal rate was at 25℃.At each level of oxygen availability, the maximum crude oil removal rate always occurred at 25℃,and the treatments that included organic fertilizer exhibited the highest crude oil removal rates.Amongst the treatments without oxygen providers, treatments without surfactants had the highest crude oil removal rates, and with an oxygen provider, treatments with SDS addition exhibited the highest crude oil removal rates.Based on the crude oil removal rates of the treatments,we determined that S_(1)W_(1)O_(1)(addition of Tween80,organic fertilizers, and H_(2)O_(2))was optimum for remediating petroleum-contaminated forest soils in cold,high-altitude regions. This study is helpful to vegetation restoration and reforestation on petroleum contaminated forestlands. | Hongbai Jia Yu Zhang Guocai Zhang Li Zou Bowen Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,6: | 0
Short-term exposure of low-alloyed steels in Qinghai Salt Lake atmosphere显示文摘The rusts formed on carbon steel and weathering steel exposed in Qinghai Salt Lake atmosphere for 6 months were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared transmission spectroscopy (IRS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron probe micro analyzer (EPMA) and electrochemical polarization techniques. The two kinds of steels showed the similar corrosion rate, corrosion product composition and electrochemical polarization behavior. Their rusts were mainly composed of β-FeOOH, Fe8(O,OH)16Cl1.3 and a little γ-FeOOH. Cl- played an important role during the corrosion process of low-alloyed steels. The alloyed elements Cr, Ni and Cu in weathering steel were detected in the rusts; however, they showed no remarkable protective ability. | LI QiaoXia WANG ZhenYao HAN Wei YU GuoCai HAN EnHou | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,19: | 0
Enhanced design of hourglass truss sandwich structures for compressive resistance显示文摘In this article, the design of the hourglass truss sandwich structure is improved by optimizing the number of layers to enhance the compressive strength of both the core and the face sheet and then its mechanical performance. The hourglass truss structures characterized by three different numbers of layers are manufactured using an interlocking and vacuum brazing method. The effect of the layer number of the hourglass core panels on their out-of-plane compression and in-plane compression performance is investigated, and the results from calculations and experiments are in reasonable agreement. The results show that as the layer number of the hourglass core increases, the out-of-plane compressive strengths show little change, but their energy absorption properties are effectively increased. The in-plane compressive failure mechanism maps are constructed, and the specimens are designed to examine the local elastic and inelastic buckling failure modes of the face sheets. The results suggest that as the number of layers of the hourglass core increases, its maximum in-plane compressive load increases. The maximum in-plane compressive loads of the two-layer hourglass truss panels are 57%–70% higher than those of the single-layer panels. It can also be concluded that the out-of-plane and in-plane compression mechanical properties of the multilayer hourglass truss outperform those of the pyramidal truss. Furthermore, the number of layers of the hourglass core is optimized in consideration of both mechanical properties and fabrication cost. | FENG LiJia YU GuoCai MA Li WU LinZhi ZHANG AMan | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,12: | 0

Zonal activation of molecular carbon dioxide and hydrogen over dual sites Ni-Co-MgO catalyst for CO_(2)methanation:Synergistic catalysis of Ni and Co species显示文摘An in-depth mechanism in zonal activation of CO_(2)and H2molecular over dual-active sites has not been revealed yet.Here,Ni-Co-MgO was rationally constructed to elucidate the CO_(2)methanation mechanism. The abundant surface nickel and cobalt components as active sites led to strong Ni-Co interaction with charge transfer from nickel to cobalt.Notably,electron-enriched Coδ-species participated in efficient chemisorption and activation of CO_(2)to generate monodentate carbonate.Simultaneously, plentiful available Ni0sites facilitated H2dissociation,thus CO_(2)and H2were smoothly activated at zones of Coδ-species and Ni0,respectively.Detailed in situ DRIFTS,quasi situ XPS,TPSR,and DFT calculations substantiated a new formate evolution mechanism via monodentate carbonate instead of traditional bidentate carbonate based on synergistic catalysis of Coδ-species and Ni0.The zonal activation of CO_(2)and H2by tuning electron behaviors of double-center catalysts can boost heterogeneous catalytic hydrogenation performance. | Zonglin Li Jianjun Chen Yu Xie Junjie Wen Huiling Weng Mingxue Wang Jingyi Zhang Jinyan Cao Guocai Tian Qiulin Zhang Ping Ning | 2024 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,91,4: | 0
