| 3 | Color-selective three-dimensional polarization structures显示文摘Polarization as an important degree of freedom for light plays a key role in optics.Structured beams with controlled polarization profles have diverse applications, such as information encoding, display, medical and biological imaging, and manipulation of microparticles. However, conventional polarization optics can only realize two-dimensional polarization structures in a transverse plane. The emergent ultrathin optical devices consisting of planar nanostructures,so-called metasurfaces, have shown much promise for polarization manipulation. Here we propose and experimentally demonstrate color-selective three-dimensional(3D)polarization structures with a single metasurface. The geometric metasurfaces are designed based on color and phase multiplexing and polarization rotation, creating various 3D polarization knots.Remarkably, different 3D polarization knots in the same observation region can be achieved by controlling the incident wavelengths, providing unprecedented polarization control with color information in 3D space. Our research findings may be of interest to many practical applications such as vector beam generation, virtual reality, volumetric displays, security, and anti-counterfeiting. | Yuttana Intaravanne Ruoxing Wang Hammad Ahmed Yang Ming Yaqin Zheng Zhang-Kai Zhou Zhancheng Li Shuqi Chen Shuang Zhang Xianzhong Chen | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,11: | 1 |

| 6 | Efficacy and safety of different dual antiplatelet strategies in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention:A systematic review and network meta-analysis显示文摘Background:Dual antiplatelet therapy(DAPT)is key for preventing ischaemic events post-percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Various DAPT modifications like the shortened duration or P2Y12 inhibitor(P2Y12i)de-escalation are implemented to reduce bleeding risk. However, these strategies lack direct comparative studies. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of such DAPT strategies, including de-escalated and short DAPT,in patients undergoing PCI.Methods:We searched PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and ClinicalTrials.gov databases for relevant randomized controlled trials(RCTs).We performed a network meta-analysis(NMA)to estimate risk ratios(RRs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).The primary efficacy endpoint was major adverse cardiac events(MACEs),and the primary safety endpoint was major bleeding.Secondary endpoints included individual components of MACEs and net adverse clinical events(NACEs).Results:A total of 17 RCTs comprising 53,156 patients(median age,62.0 years,24.8%female)were included.NMA suggested that de-escalation DAPT was associated with a significantly lower risk of MACEs(risk ratio[RR]=0.79,95%confidence interval[CI]=0.64-0.98),bleeding(RR=0.63,95%CI=0.49-0.82),and NACEs(RR=0.69,95%CI=0.60-0.79)compared with standard DAPT.Short DAPT followed by P2Y12i monotherapy exhibited a significantly decreased risk of major bleeding(RR=0.63,95%CI=0.46-0.86)compared with standard DAPT.Conclusions:De-escalation DAPT was the most effective strategy for preventing the risk of MACEs without increasing bleeding events, while short DAPT followed by P2Y12i monotherapy was the most effective strategy for reducing the risk of bleeding among patients undergoing PCI. | Yuttana Wongsalap Kirati Kengkla Preyanate Wilairat Khemanat Ratworawong Surasak Saokaew Chaisiri Wanlapakorn | 2023 | Chronic Diseases and Translational Medicine2023,9,4: | 0 |
| 7 | Efficacy of SARS-CoV-2 detection from used surgical masks compared with standard detection method显示文摘The real‐time reverse transcription‐polymerase chain reaction(RT‐PCR)test is the gold standard for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS‐CoV‐2)detection.Proper specimen collection and obtaining a sufficient specimen are the most essential steps for laboratory diagnosis. The nasopharyngeal(NP)swab is recommended as the reference collection method. However,NP swab collection is invasive and uncomfortable for patients and poses some risk to healthcare workers. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA detection from surgical masks with the NP swab method using RT‐PCR testing.Of 269 patients,RT‐PCR RNA from NP swabs was detected among 82 patients(30.5%)and was undetected among 187 patients(69.5%).All patients were tested for SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA from surgical masks.SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA was detected in 25/82(30.5%)surgical mask filters, while undetected among 57(69.5%).For the surgical mask with an average use time of 7.05 h,the sensitivity was 30.5%,the specificity was 100.0%,with positive predictive value of 100.0%and negative predictive value of 76.2%.Therefore,surgical masks could be an alternative non‐invasive specimen source for SARS‐CoV‐2 RT‐PCR testing. The results of our study suggest that the test could be employed after wearing surgical masks for at least 8‐12 h,with increased sensitivity when used for more than 12 h. | Uraporn Phumisantiphong Anan Manomaipiboon Yuttana Apichatbutr Kittisak Pholtawornkulchai Chunlanee Sangketchon Busaba Supawattanabodee Thananda Trakarnvanich | 2024 | Biosafety and Health2024,6,1: | 0 |
| 8 | Pharmacotherapy treatment patterns at hospital discharge and clinical outcomes among patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction显示文摘Background:This study aimed to assess the prescribing patterns of evidencebased pharmacotherapy and their association with clinical outcomes in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction(HFrEF)in Thailand. Methods:A retrospective cohort study of patients with HFrEF was conducted.Treatment with aβ-blocker and renin-angiotensin system inhibitors(RASIs)with or without mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists(MRAs)at discharge was regarded as guideline-directed medical therapy(GDMT).All others were considered non-GDMT.The primary endpoint was the composite of all-cause mortality or heart failure(HF)rehospitalization.Inverse-probabilitytreatment-weighted adjusted Cox proportional hazard models were used to examine the treatment effects. Results:In total,653 patients with HFrEF(mean age 64.1±14.3 years;55.9%male)were included.GDMT withβ-blockers and RASIs with or without MRAs was prescribed at a rate of 35.4%.During a median of 1-year follow-up,167 patients(27.5%)had a composite event,81 patients(13.3%)had all-cause mortality, and 109 patients(18.0%)had HF rehospitalization.Patients treated with GDMT at discharge showed significantly lower rates of the primary endpoint(adjusted hazard ratio[HR]0.63;95%CI 0.44-0.89;p=0.009)compared with patients who did not receive GDMT.The use of GDMT was also associated with a significantly lower risk of all-cause mortality(adjusted HR 0.59;95%CI 0.36-0.98;p=0.045)and HF rehospitalization(adjusted HR 0.65;95%CI 0.43-0.96;p=0.031).Conclusions:For HFrEF treatment,GDMT initiation at hospital discharge was associated with a significantly reduced risk of all-cause mortality and HF rehospitalization.Nevertheless, prescribing GDMT remains underused, and it could be encouraged to improve HF outcomes in real-world settings. | Yuttana Wongsalap Duangkamon Poolpun Konrapee Keawhai Napusson Kitpluem Parichat Pansiri Siriluck Malaimat Vichai Senthong Kirati Kengkla | 2023 | Chronic Diseases and Translational Medicine2023,9,2: | 0 |
