3Protective Effect of Hydroxysafflor Yellow A on Bleomycin-Induced Pulmonary Inflammation and Fibrosis in Rats显示文摘Objective: To observe the effect of hydroxysafflor yellow A(HSYA), an active ingredient of a traditional Chinese herbal medicine Carthamus tinctorius L., on lung inflammation and pulmonary fibrosis induced by bleomycin(BLM) in rats. Methods: Animals were divided into 6 groups including normal group, model group, three HSYA groups and dexamethasone(DXM) group. Three doses of HSYA(35.6, 53.3, and 80.0 mg·kg^(–1)·day^(–1)) were intraperitoneally(i.p.) injected in rats for 3 weeks after BLM administration and DXM was used as the positive control(n=8 or 12). Arterial blood gas was assayed and morphological changes were observed. Lung mRNA expressions of tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-6 and some cytokines in lung tissue were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Nuclear factor-κB p65 or α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA) protein distribution in rat lung tissue was observed by immunohistochemistry. Results: On the 7 th day after BLM administration, lung tissue showed serious inflammation. Treatment with HSYA or DXM ameliorated lung inflammation. After treatment with HSYA or DXM, oxygen partial pressure(PaO_2) increased(HSYA 80.0 mg·kg^(–1), P<0.01) and CO_2 partial pressure(PaCO_2) decreased(HSYA 53.3, 80.0 mg·kg^(–1), P<0.05). Moreover, the mRNA expression of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6; and the number of NF-κB p65 positive cells was lower in HSYA 53.3 and 80.0 mg·kg^(–1) groups than those in the model group(all P<0.05). Twenty-one days after BLM administration, HSYA or DXM treatment ameliorated fibrosis, increased PaO_2(HSYA 53.3, 80.0 mg·kg^(–1), P<0.01), and decreased PaCO_2(53.3 and 80.0 mg·kg^(–1), P<0.05). Further, the mRNA expression of TGF-β1, α-SMA, and collagen Ⅰ as well as the number of α-SMA positive cells increased in the model group and HSYA can attenuate these changes(53.3, 80.0 mg·kg^(–1), P<0.05). Hematoxylin and eosin and Masson's trichrome staining indicated that the fibrosis and collagen deposition were ameliorated in HSYA groups(53.3, 80.0 mg·kg^(–1), P<0.05). 6Gram-scale synthesis of all-inorganic perovskite quantum dots with high Mn substitution ratio and enhanced dual-color emission显示文摘Mn-doped all-inorganic perovskite quantum dots (QDs) provide prominent applications in the fields of low-cost light source or display,because of their remarkable properties including dual-color emission and reduced lead content,as well as high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs) and high stability.However,the existing synthesis approaches usually require hash conditions,such as high temperature and nitrogen protection,which is a major hurdler for the practical manufacturing.In addition,the significantly high Mn substitution ratio in CsPbX3 QDs is still challenging.The real dual-color emission with two strong emission peaks in the Mn-doped all-inorganic perovskite QDs has attracted great interest.Here we present a gram-scale approach to synthesize both CsPbxMn1-xCI3 and CsPb1-xMnxClyBr3-y QDs at 100 ℃ in the air with high Mn substitution ratio,up to 55.64% atomically.The as-prepared CsPb1-xMnxClyBr3-y QDs exhibit high PLQYs of 62.41% and dual-color emission with two strong emission peaks around at 400-450 nm and 600 nm,respectively.The enhanced peak at 400-450 nm is a result of the hybrid halides in CsPbBrxCl3-x host.Furthermore,the unique advantage of the optical emission and high PLQYs properties of the CsPbxMn1-xCl3 QDs has been demonstrated as invisible ink for encryption applications and polymer composites.Our gram-scale synthesis approach for Mn-doped all-inorganic perovskite QDs may boost the future research and practical applications of QDs-based white LED,spintronics,and molecular barcoding.Lvming Dong Zhuo Chen Lei Ye Yan Yu Jianbing Zhang Huan Liu Jianfeng Zang 2019Nano Research2019,12,7:6

8Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. 9Engineering stem cell niches in bioreactors显示文摘Stem cells, including embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells and amniotic fluid stem cells have the potential to be expanded and differentiated into various cell types in the body.Efficient differentiation of stem cells with the desired tissue-specific function is critical for stem cell-based cell therapy, tissue engineering, drug discovery and disease modeling. Bioreactors provide a great platform to regulate the stem cell microenvironment, known as 'niches',to impact stem cell fate decision. The niche factors include the regulatory factors such as oxygen, extracellular matrix(synthetic and decellularized), paracrine/autocrine signaling and physical forces(i.e., mechanical force, electrical force and flow shear). The use of novel bioreactors with precise control and recapitulation of niche factors through modulating reactor operation parameters can enable efficient stem cell expansion and differentiation. Recently, the development of microfluidic devices and microbioreactors also provides powerful tools to manipulate the stem cell microenvironment by adjusting flow rate and cytokine gradients. In general,bioreactor engineering can be used to better modulate stem cell niches critical for stem cell expansion, differentiation and applications as novel cell-based biomedicines. 10Advances in neovascularization after diabetic ischemia显示文摘With the high incidence of diabetes around the world,ischemic complications cause a serious influence on people’s production and living.Neovascularization plays a significant role in its development.Therefore,neovascularization after diabetic ischemia has aroused attention and has become a hot spot in recent years.Neovascularization is divided into angiogenesis represented by atherosclerosis and arteriogenesis characterized by coronary collateral circulation.When mononuclear macrophages successively migrate to the ischemia anoxic zone after ischemia or hypoxia,they induce the secretion of cytokines,such as vascular endothelial growth factor and hypoxia-inducible factor,activate signaling pathways such as classic Wnt and phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt)pathways,trigger oxidative stress response,activate endothelial progenitor cells or enter the glycolysis or lactic acid process and promote the formation of new blood vessels,remodeling them into mature blood vessels and restoring blood supply.However,the hypoglycemic condition has different impacts on neovascularization.Consequently,this review aimed to introduce the mechanisms of neovascularization after diabetic ischemia,increase our understanding of diabetic ischemic complications and their therapies and provide more treatment options for clinical practice and effectively relieve patients’pain.It is believed that in the near future,neovascularization will bring more benefits and hope to patients with diabetes.Yue Cai Guang-Yao Zang Yan Huang Zhen Sun Li-Li Zhang Yong-Jiang Qian Wei Yuan Zhong-Qun Wang 2022World Journal of Diabetes2022,13,11:4

13Analysis of period doubling bifurcation and chaos mirror of biped passive dynamic robot gait显示文摘With a reasonable parameter configuration,the passive dynamic walking model has a stable,efficient,natural periodic gait,which depends only on gravity and inertia when walking down a slight slope.In fact,there is a delicate balance in the energy conversion in the stable periodic gait,making the gait adjustable by changing the model parameters.Poincaré mapping is combined with Newton-Raphson iteration to obtain the numerical solution of the final state of the passive dynamic walking model.In addition,a simulation on the walking gait of the model is performed by increasing the slope step by step,thereby fixing the model's parameters synchronously.Then,the gait features obtained in the different slope stages are analyzed and discussed,the intrinsic laws are revealed in depth.The results indicate that the gait can present features of a single period,doubling period,the entrance of chaos,merging of sub-bands,and so on,because of the high sensitivity of the passive dynamic walking to the slope.From a global viewpoint,the gait becomes chaotic by way of period doubling bifurcation,with a self-similar Feigenbaum fractal structure in the process.At the entrance of chaos,the gait sequence comprises a Cantor set,and during the chaotic stage,sub-bands in the final-state diagram of the robot system present as a mirror of the period doubling bifurcation.ZHAO Jie WU XiaoGuang ZANG XiZhe YAN JiHong 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,14:4

15Tandem Strip Mill's Multi-parameter Coupling Dynamic Modeling Based on the Thickness Control显示文摘The rolling process is determined by the interaction of a number of different movements,during which the relative movement occurs between the vibrating roll system and the rolled piece,and the roll system's vibration interacts with the strip's deformation and rigid movement.So many parameters being involved leads to a complex mechanism of this coupling effect.Through testing and analyzing the vibration signals of the mill in the rolling process,the rolling mill's coupled model is established with comprehensive consideration of the coupling interaction between the mill's vertical vibration,its torsional vibration and the working roll's horizontal vibration,and vibration characteristics of different forms of rolling mill's vibration are analyzed under the coupling effect.With comprehensive attention to the relationship between the roll system,the moving strip and the rolling parameters'dynamic properties,and also from the strip thickness control point of view,further research is done on the coupling mechanism between the roll system's movement and the moving strip's characteristics in the rolling process.As a result,the law of inertial coupling and the stiffness coupling effect caused by different forms of the roll system's vibration is determined and the existence of nonlinear characteristics caused by the elastic deformation of moving strip is also found.Furthermore,a multi-parameter coupling-dynamic model is established which takes the tandem strip mill as its research object by making a detailed kinematics analysis of the roll system and using the principle of virtual work.The coupling-dynamic model proposes the instruction to describe the roll system's movement,and analyzes its dynamic response and working stability,and provides a theoretical basis for the realization of the strip thickness'dynamic control.PENG Yan ZHANG Yang SUN Jianliang ZANG Yong 2015Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2015,28,2:4
16Peniazaphilones A—I,Produced by Co-culturing of Mangrove Endophytic Fungi,Penicillium sclerotiorum THSH-4 and Penicillium sclerotiorum ZJHJJ-18显示文摘Co-culturing the mangrove endophytic fungus Penicillium sclerotiorum THSH-4 with Penicillium sclerotiorum ZJHJJ-18 in PDB medium resulted in the production of nine new azaphilones derivatives,peniazaphilones A—I(1-9),and six known azaphilones derivatives(10-15).Their structures were elucidated by analysis of detailed spectroscopic data,single-crystal X-ray diffraction,ECD spectra,^(13)C NMR calculation and DP4+analysis.It is noteworthy that compound 1 with an isoquinoline quinone moiety,was isolated from natural source for the first time.Besides,compound 2 is the third reported phenylhydrazone derivative from fungi.In the bioactivity assays,compounds 1,12,14 and 15(IC_(50)=4.71-17.64μmol/L)exhibited potent inhibition of LPS-induced NO release from RAW264.7 without obvious cytotoxicity within 50μmol/L compared to the positive control indomethacin(IC_(50)=35.27μmol/L).Moreover,compounds 1 and 13 displayed moderate to strong cytotoxicity to A549 and MDA-MB-435,with IC_(50) values in the range of 6.84-14.63μmol/L.Together compound 1 showed moderate broad-spectrum antibacterial activity.Wencong Yang Jie Yuan Qi Tan Yan Chen Yujia Zhu Hongming Jiang Ge Zou Zhenming Zang Bo Wang Zhigang She 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,12:3

18Ultrapure and highly efficient green light emitting devices based on ligand-modified CsPbBr3 quantum dots显示文摘All inorganic Cs PbBr3 perovskite quantum dots(QDs)have been recognized as promising optical materials tfabricate green light emission devices because of their excellent optical performance.However,regular Cs Pb BrQDs with an oleic acid(OA)ligand show poor stability,which limits their practical application.We replaced thOA ligand in Cs PbBr3 QDs with a 2-hexyldecanoic acid(DA)ligand and,in the synthesis,found that the nematerial has better optical properties than regular Cs PbBr3 QDs(Cs PbBr3-OA QDs).Due to the strong bindinenergy between the DA ligand and QDs,the ligand-modified Cs PbBr3 QDs(Cs PbBr3-DA QDs)show a higphotoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 96%,while the PLQY of Cs PbBr3-OA QDs is 84%.Subsequentlythe Cs PbBr3 QDs coated on the blue light-emitting diode(LED)chips as green phosphors are demonstrated.Thcolor conversion from blue to pure green is achieved by adding the Cs PbBr3-OA QDs solution up to 60μL,whilthe pure green emission devices only need 18μL Cs PbBr3-DA QDs solution under the same concentration.Thultrapure,highly efficient green light-emitting devices based on Cs PbBr3-DA QDs exhibit a luminous efficiencof 43.6 lm/W with a CIE(0.2086,0.7635)under a 15.3 m A driving current.In addition,the green emissiowavelength of the devices based on Cs PbBr3-DA QDs almost has no shift,even under a high injection currenThese results highlight the promise of DA ligand-modified Cs PbBr3 QDs for light-emitting devices and enrich thapplication field of ligand-modified Cs PbBr3 QDs.Dongdong Yan Shuangyi Zhao Huaxin Wang Zhigang Zang 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:3

Nevertheless,the drawbacks of most natural enzymes, including poor stability and recyclability and sensitivity to the environment, have hindered their broader application. Here, we report a facile strategy to prepare a biomimetic cascade reaction system by combining the advantages of enzyme immobilization and biomimetic catalysis in a one-pot reaction system based on the hierarchically porous metal-organic frameworks(HP-MOFs). The hierarchically porous zirconium-porphyrin-based MOF(HPPCN-222(Fe)) synthesized by modulator-induced strategy possessed tunable hierarchical porous and peroxidase-like activity,permitting them to act as not only an efficient immobilization matrix for glucose oxidase(GOx) but also peroxidase mimics to catalyze the cascade for glucose detection. A stable, anti-interference and reusable colorimetric biosensor for glucose detection was successfully established through GOx@HP-PCN-222(Fe) on the basis of the artificial tandem catalysis. Moreover, the GOx@HP-PCN-222(Fe)-fabricated electrode was available for glucose detection by electrochemical method. 20Gut microbiota mediates the absorption of FLZ,a new drug for Parkinson’s disease treatment显示文摘The gut microbiota plays an important role in regulating the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of many drugs.FLZ,a novel squamosamide derivative,has been shown to have neuroprotective effects on experimental Parkinson’s disease(PD)models.FLZ is under phase I clinical trial now,while the underlying mechanisms contributing to the absorption of FLZ are still not fully elucidated.Due to the main metabolite of FLZ was abundant in feces but rare in urine and bile of mice,we focused on the gut microbiota to address how FLZ was metabolized and absorbed.In vitro studies revealed that FLZ could be exclusively metabolized to its major metabolite M1 by the lanosterol 14 alpha-demethylase(CYP51)in the gut microbiota,but was almost not metabolized by any other metabolism-related organs,such as liver,kidney,and small intestine.M1 was quickly absorbed into the blood and then remethylated to FLZ by catechol O-methyltransferase(COMT).Notably,dysbacteriosis reduced the therapeutic efficacy of FLZ on the PD mouse model by inhibiting its absorption.The results show that the gut microbiota mediate the absorption of FLZ through a FLZ-M1-FLZ circulation.Our research elucidates the vital role of the gut microbiota in the absorption of FLZ and provides a theoretical basis for clinical pharmacokinetic studies and clinical application of FLZ in the treatment of PD.Junmei Shang Shurong Ma Caixia Zang Xiuqi Bao Yan Wang Dan Zhang 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,5:3
