2Primary dolostone related to the Cretaceous lacustrine hydrothermal sedimentation in Qingxi sag, Jiuquan Basin on the northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Based on comprehensive studies in petrography,petrofabric analysis and geochemistry,this paper describes a unique and rare laminated micritic ferruginous primary dolostone crystallized and precipitated from the alkaline hot brine under the conditions of the Mesozoic faulted lake basin.The main rock-forming mineral of this dolostone is ferruginous dolomite with a micritic structure.This dolomite mostly exhibits laminae of 0.1–1 mm thick and is often discovered with other minerals,such as albite,analcite,barite and dickite,which have at least two types of interbedded laminae.Petrogeochemistry reveals that this dolostone contains a large number of typomorphic elements of hydrothermal sedimentation,including Sb,Ba,Sr,Mn,and V.In addition,the LREE is in relatively high concentrations and possesses the typical REE distribution pattern with negative Eu anomaly.Oxygen isotope values(δ18OPDB)range from 5.89‰to 14.15‰with an average of 9.69‰.The ratio of87Sr/86Sr is between0.711648 and 0.719546,with an average of 0.714718.These data indicate that the depositional environment is a stable,blocked,anoxic low-lying hot brine pool in the bottom of deep lake controlled by basement faults.The hydrothermal fluid is the alkaline hot brine formed by the combination of the infiltration lake water and mantle-derived magmatic water,consisting of many ions,including Ca2+,Mg2+and Fe2+.Under the driving flow power of magmatic heat,gravity and compaction,the hydrothermal fluid overcame the overburden pressure and hydrostatic pressure of the lake water body,and boiled to explosion,and then the explosion shattered the original laminated micritic ferruginous primary dolostone near the vent and then formed a new type of dolostone called shattered'hydroexplosion breccias'.In the low-lying,unperturbed hot brine pool,far from the vent,the laminated micritic ferruginous primary dolostone was quickly crystallized and chemicals precipitated from the hydrotherm.This study of special rocks contributes to research into the causes of the formation of lacustrine carbonate rocks and dolostone.In particular,it provides new examples and research insights for future studies of the lacustrine dolomite from the similar Mesozoic and Cenozoic basins in China.WEN HuaGuo ZHENG RongCai QING HaiRuo FAN MingTao LI YanAn GONG BoShi 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12:12
3Efficacy of Lubeikangru formulation in mice with hyperplasia of the mammary glands induced by estrogen and progesterone显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the protective effects of Lubeikangru formula(LF) on hyperplasia of the mammary glands(HMG) induced by estrogen and progesterone in mice.METHODS: Female mice were divided randomly into five groups: normal, model, tamoxifen(3 mg/kg),Rupixiao(900 mg/kg) and LF(900 mg/kg). All mice except those in the normal group were treated sequentially with estradiol and progesterone to induce HMG. From the tenth day of induction, mice in normal and model groups received distilled water and mice in the other groups were given the corresponding drugs by gavage, once a day, for 30 d.At the end of treatment, the mammary glands, ovaries, hypothalamus, and serum was collected for whole-mount and hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISAs), or western blotting.RESULTS: Whole-mount and HE staining of mammary glands showed that LF rescued(at least in part) the hyperplasic morphology of the mammary glands, and the number of branch points decreased after LF treatment(P < 0.05). ELISAs revealed that levels of estrogen and progesterone were decreased following LF treatment, whereas levels of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and luteinizing hormone were increased in serum and tissues. Western blotting confirmed that LF treatment led to a reduction in expression of phosphorylated(p)-Erk, p-p38 and p-c-Jun N-terminal kinase. 4Heterogeneous lamellar-edged Fe-Ni(OH)_(2)/Ni_(3)S_(2)nanoarray for efficient and stable seawater oxidation显示文摘Development of efficient non-precious catalysts for seawater electrolysis is of great significance but challenging due to the sluggish kinetics of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and the impairment of chlorine electrochemistry at anode.Herein,we report a heterostructure of Ni_(3)S_(2)nanoarray with secondary Fe-Ni(OH)_(2)lamellar edges that exposes abundant active sites towards seawater oxidation.The resultant Fe-Ni(OH)_(2)/Ni_(3)S_(2)nanoarray works directly as a free-standing anodic electrode in alkaline artificial seawater.It only requires an overpotential of 269 mV to afford a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)and the Tafel slope is as low as 46 m V·dec^(-1).The 27-hour chronopotentiometry operated at high current density of 100 mA·cm^(-2)shows negligible deterioration,suggesting good stability of the Fe-Ni(OH)_(2)/Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF electrode.Faraday efficiency for oxygen evolution is up to〜95%,revealing decent selectivity of the catalyst in saline water.Such desirable catalytic performance could be benefitted from the introduction of Fe activator and the heterostructure that offers massive active and selective sites.The density functional theory(DFT)calculations indicate that the OER has lower theoretical overpotential than Cl_(2) evolution reaction in Fe sites,which is contrary to that of Ni sites.The experimental and theoretical study provides a strong support for the rational design of high-performance Fe-based electrodes for industrial seawater electrolysis.Baihua Cui Zheng Hu Chang Liu Siliang Liu Fangshuai Chen Shi Hu Jinfeng Zhang Wei Zhou Yida Deng Zhenbo Qin Zhong Wu Yanan Chen Lifeng Cui Wenbin Hu 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:7

6Separate lateral parametrial lymph node dissection improves detection rate of parametrial lymph node metastasis in early-stage cervical cancer: 10-year clinical evaluation in a single center in China显示文摘Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of separate lateral parametrial lymph node dissection(LPLND) in improving parametrial lymph node(PLN) and its metastasis detection rate during radical hysterectomy for early-stage cervical cancer.Methods: From July 2007 to August 2017, 2,695 patients with cervical cancer in stage IB1-IIA2 underwent radical hysterectomy were included. Of these patients, 368 underwent separate dissection of PLNs using the LPLND method, and 2,327 patients underwent conventional radical hysterectomy(CRH). We compared the surgical parameters, PLN detection rate and PLN metastasis rate between the two groups.Results: Compared with CRH group, the rate of laparoscopic surgery was higher(60.3% vs. 15.9%, P<0.001),and the blood transfusion rate was lower(19.0% vs. 29.0%, P<0.001) in the LPLND group. PLNs were detected in 356 cases(96.7%) in the LPLND group, and 270 cases(11.6%) in the CRH group(P<0.001), respectively. The number of PLNs detected in the LPLND group was higher than that in the CRH group(median 3 vs. 1, P<0.001).The PLN metastases were detected in 25 cases(6.8%) in the LPLND group, and 18 cases(0.8%) in the CRH group(P<0.001), respectively. In multivariable analysis, LPLND is an independent factor not only for PLN detection [odds ratio(OR)=228.999, 95% confidence interval(95% CI): 124.661-420.664;P<0.001], but also for PLN metastasis identification(OR=10.867, 95% CI: 5.381-21.946;P<0.001).Conclusions: LPLND is feasible and safe. 9Evolution of secondary phase particles during deformation of Al-5Ti-1B master alloy and their effect on α-Al grain refinement显示文摘Addition of Al-5Ti-1B alloy to molten aluminum alloys can refine α-Al grains effectively and thereby improve their strength and toughness. TiAl_3 and TiB_2 in Al-5Ti-1B alloy are the main secondary-phase particles for refinement, while the understanding on the effect of their sizes on α-Al grain refinement continues to be fragmented. Therefore, Al-5Ti-1B alloys with various sizes and morphologies of the secondary-phase particles were prepared by equal channel angular pressing(ECAP). Evolution of the secondary-phase particles during ECAP process and their impact on α-Al grain refinement were studied by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope(SEM). Results show that during the ECAP process, micro-cracks firstly appeared inside TiAl_3 particles and then gradually expanded, which resulted in continuous refinement of TiAl_3 particles. In addition, micro-distribution uniformity of TiB_2 particles was improved due to the impingement of TiAl_3 particles to TiB_2 clusters during deformation. Excessively large sizes of TiAl_3 particles would reduce the number of effective heterogeneous nucleus and thus resulted in poor grain refinement effectiveness. Moreover, excessively small TiAl_3 particles would reduce inhibitory factors for grain growth Q and weaken grain refinement effectiveness. 10Black phosphorus inverter devices enabled by in-situ aluminum surface modification显示文摘Two-dimensional black phosphorus (BP) generally exhibits a hole-dominated transport characteristic when configured as field-effect transistor devices. The effective control of charge carrier type and concentration is very crucial for the application of BP in complementary electronics. Herein, we report a facile and effective electron doping methodology on BP, through in situ surface modification with aluminum (Al). The electron mobility of few-layer BP is found to be largely enhanced to ~ 10.6 cm^2·V^–1·s^–1 by over 6 times after aluminum modification. In situ photoelectron spectroscopy characterization reveals the formation of Al–P covalent bond at the interface, which can also serve as local gate to tune the transport properties in BP layers. 11Complications and risk factors for complications of implanted subcutaneous ports for intraperitoneal chemotherapy in gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis显示文摘Objective:Intraperitoneal(IP)chemotherapy through subcutaneous port is an effective treatment for gastric cancer(GC)patients with peritoneal metastasis(PM).The objective of this study is to assess the port complications and risk factors for complications in GC patients with PM.Methods:In retrospective screening of 301 patients with subcutaneous ports implantation,249 GC patients with PM who received IP chemotherapy were screened out for analysis.Port complications and risk factors for complications were analyzed.Results:Of the 249 analyzed patients,57(22.9%)experienced port complications.Subcutaneous liquid accumulation(42.1%)and infection(28.1%)were the main complications,and other complications included port rotation(14.1%),wound dehiscence(12.3%),inflow obstruction(1.7%)and subcutaneous metastasis(1.7%).The median interval between port implantation and occurrence of complications was 3.0 months.Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)performance status[odds ratio(OR),1.74;95%confidence interval(95%CI),1.12-2.69],albumin(OR,3.67;95%CI,1.96-6.86),implantation procedure optimization(OR,0.33;95%CI,0.18-0.61)and implantation groups(OR,0.37;95%CI,0.20-0.69)were independent risk factors for port complications(P<0.05).ECOG performance status was the only factor that related to the grades of port complications(P=0.016).Conclusions:Port complications in GC patients who received IP chemotherapy are manageable.ECOG performance status,albumin,implantation procedure and implantation group are independent risk factors for port complications in GC patients with PM.Zhongyin Yang Chen Li Wentao Liu Yanan Zheng Zhenglun Zhu Ziehen Hua Zhentian Ni Sheng Lu Min Yan Chao Yan Zhenggang Zhu 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,4:5

15A review of spatial targeting methods of payment for ecosystem services显示文摘Payments for Ecosystem Services(PES)have been studied extensively over the past decade as an important policy tool for coordinating ecological protection and regional socioeconomic development.One of the greatest challenges of PES implementation is to understand where to pay,i.e.,spatial targeting,which can directly impact PES effectiveness and efficiency.In this study,we conducted a systematic review of spatial targeting methods based on literature analysis using Citespace.Firstly,peer-reviewed articles related to spatial targeting of PES were selected from the Web of Science database based on keywords.Cases applying PES spatial targeting methods were then chosen and analyzed after all articles were read.In total,70%of the chosen cases focused on improving the compensation efficiency of biodiversity or another single environmental objective,whereas the remaining cases focused on coordinating trade-offs between equity and efficiency or multiple environmental objectives.The main PES spatial targeting approaches included cost-benefit analysis,multi-objective optimization,data envelope analysis and other methods aimed at specific issues.Of these,cost-benefit analysis has been most widely applied at different scales,including county,regional and watershed scales.Significant differences among the different PES spatial targeting methods were found,including in PES spatial targeting dimensions,efficiency optimization approaches and method application conditions.The practice of PES spatial targeting requires the selection of appropriate methods based on contextual biophysical and socioeconomic conditions as well as relevant environmental issues.The combined application of PES spatial targeting methods,compensation willingness of stakeholders and dynamic implementation of PES spatial targeting should be considered in future research.Yanan Guo Hua Zheng Tong Wu Jian Wu Brian E.Robinson 2020Geography and Sustainability2020,1,2:3
16Interior and Exterior Decoration of Transition Metal Oxide Through Cu^(0)/Cu^(+) Co-Doping Strategy for High-Performance Supercapacitor显示文摘Although CoO is a promising electrode material for supercapacitors due to its high theoretical capacitance,the practical applications still suffering from inferior electrochemical activity owing to its low electrical conductivity,poor structural stability and inefficient nanostructure.Herein,we report a novel Cu0/Cu+co-doped CoO composite with adjustable metallic Cu0 and ion Cu+via a facile strategy.Through interior(Cu+)and exterior(Cu0)decoration of CoO,the electrochemical performance of CoO electrode has been significantly improved due to both the beneficial flower-like nanostructure and the synergetic effect of Cu0/Cu+co-doping,which results in a significantly enhanced specific capacitance(695 F g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1))and high cyclic stability(93.4%retention over 10,000 cycles)than pristine CoO.Furthermore,this co-doping strategy is also applicable to other transition metal oxide(NiO)with enhanced electrochemical performance.In addition,an asymmetric hybrid supercapacitor was assembled using the Cu0/Cu+co-doped CoO electrode and active carbon,which delivers a remarkable maximal energy density(35 Wh kg^(-1)),exceptional power density(16 kW kg^(-1))and ultralong cycle life(91.5%retention over 10,000 cycles).Theoretical calculations further verify that the co-doping of Cu^(0)/Cu^(+)can tune the electronic structure of CoO and improve the conductivity and electron transport.This study demonstrates a facile and favorable strategy to enhance the electrochemical performance of transition metal oxide electrode materials.Weifeng Liu Zhi Zhang Yanan Zhang Yifan Zheng Nishuang Liu Jun Su Yihua Gao 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,4:3
17Inhibition of focal adhesion kinase enhances antitumor response of radiation therapy in pancreatic cancer through CD8+ T cells显示文摘Objective:Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is a deadly malignancy,due in large part to its resistance to conventional therapies,including radiotherapy(RT).Despite RT exerting a modest antitumor response,it has also been shown to promote an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.Previous studies demonstrated that focal adhesion kinase inhibitors(FAKi)in clinical development inhibit the infiltration of suppressive myeloid cells and T regulatory(T regs)cells,and subsequently enhance effector T cell infiltration.FAK inhibitors in clinical development have not been investigated in combination with RT in preclinical murine models or clinical studies.Thus,we investigated the impact of FAK inhibition on RT,its potential as an RT sensitizer and immunomodulator in a murine model of PDAC.Methods:We used a syngeneic orthotopic murine model to study the effect of FAKi on hypofractionated RT.Results:In this study we showed that IN10018,a small molecular FAKi,enhanced antitumor response to RT.Antitumor activity of the combination of FAKi and RT is T cell dependent.FAKi in combination with RT enhanced CD8+T cell infiltration significantly in comparison to the radiation or FAKi treatment alone(P<0.05).FAKi in combination with radiation inhibited the infiltration of granulocytes but enhanced the infiltration of macrophages and T regs in comparison with the radiation or FAKi treatment alone(P<0.01).Conclusions:These results support the clinical development of FAKi as a radiosensitizer for PDAC and combining FAKi with RT to prime the tumor microenvironment of PDAC for immunotherapy.Arsen Osipov Alex B.Blair Juliane Liberto Jianxin Wang Keyu Li Brian Herbst Yao Xu Shiqi Li Nan Niu Rufiaat Rashid Ding Ding Yanan Liu Zaiqi Wang Christopher L.Wolfgang Richard A.Burkhart Daniel Laheru Lei Zheng 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:3
18Band-tailored van der Waals heterostructure for multilevel memory and artificial synapse显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)van der Waals heterostructure(vdWH)-based floating gate devices show great potential for next-generation nonvolatile and multilevel data storage memory.However,high program voltage induced substantial energy consumption,which is one of the primary concerns,hinders their applications in lowenergy-consumption artificial synapses for neuromorphic computing.In this study,we demonstrate a three-terminal floating gate device based on the vdWH of tin disulfide(SnS2),hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN),and few-layer graphene.The large electron affinity of SnS2 facilitates a significant reduction in the program voltage of the device by lowering the hole-injection barrier across h-BN.Our floating gate device,as a nonvolatile multilevel electronic memory,exhibits large on/off current ratio(105),good retention(over 104 s),and robust endurance(over 1000 cycles).Moreover,it can function as an artificial synapse to emulate basic synaptic functions.Further,low energy consumption down to7 picojoule(pJ)can be achieved owing to the small program voltage.High linearity(<1)and conductance ratio(80)in long-term potentiation and depression(LTP/LTD)further contribute to the high pattern recognition accuracy(90%)in artificial neural network simulation.The proposed device with attentive band engineering can promote the future development of energy-efficient memory and neuromorphic devices.Yanan Wang Yue Zheng Jing Gao Tengyu Jin Enlong Li Xu Lian Xuan Pan Cheng Han Huipeng Chen Wei Chen 2021InfoMat2021,3,8:3
19Two soybean homologues of TERMINAL FLOWER 1 control flowering time under long day conditions显示文摘Flowering time is a key agronomic trait that directly affect the adaptation and yield of soybean.After whole genome duplications,about 75%of genes being represented by multiple copies in soybean.There are four TERMINAL FLOWER 1(TFL1)genes in soybean,and the TFL1b(Dt1)has been characterized as the determinant of stem growth habit.The function of other TFL1 homologs in soybean is still unclear.Here,we generated knockout mutants by CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing technology and found that the tfl1c/tfl1d double mutants flowered significantly earlier than wild-type plants.We investigated that TFL1c and TFL1d could physically interact with the b ZIP transcription factor FDc1 and bind to the promoter of APETALA1a(AP1a).RNA-seq and q RT-PCR analyses indicated that TFL1c and TFL1d repressed the expressions of the four AP1 homologs and delayed the flowering time in soybean.The two genes play important roles in the regulation of flowering time in soybean and mainly act as the flowering inhibitors under long-day conditions.Our results identify novel components in the flowering-time regulation network of soybean and will be invaluable for molecular breeding of improved soybean yield.Lingshuang Wang Chun Lin Bohui Li Tong Su Shichen Li Haiyang Li Fanglei He Chuanjie Gou Zheng Chen Yanan Wang Jun Qin Baohui Liu Fanjiang Kong Lin Yue Sijia Lu Chao Fang 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,3:3
20Expressions of Toll Like Receptor(TLR)Genes in Paralichthys olivaceus After Induced by Different Extracts of Edwardsiella tarda显示文摘Toll like receptors(TLRs)are the main innate immune‘pattern recognition receptors’of animals,which play a central role in host cell recognition and responses to invasive pathogens,particularly common structures of microbial pathogens.In this study,the gene expression profiles of TLRs in the spleen,head kidney,gill,small intestine,liver,muscle,and heart of healthy Paralichthys olivaceus were detected by real-time quantitative PCR(qPCR).The TLR family members were widely expressed in different tissues with different basic expression profiles.The highest expressions of TLR1,5m,7,8,9,14,and 21 were found in the spleen;the highest expressions of TLR3 and TLR21 were found in the gill;the highest expressions of TLR2 and 5s were found in the small intestine.The second highest expressions of TLR3,7,and 8 were found in small intestine.The gene expression profiles of TLRs stimulated with Edwardsiella tarda DNA,RNA,and lipopolysaccharide(LPS)were also detected in spleen,head kidney and gill.TLR9 and TLR21 were sensitive to E.tarda DNA;TLR 8 and TLR21 were sensitive to E.tarda RNA;and TLR1 and TLR14 were sensitive to E.tarda LPS.The expressions of the other TLR genes showed no significant changes.The results imply that the expressions of these TLR genes in P.olivaceus are differently regulated in the whole body and play important roles in the immune response against E.tarda infection.SHAN Yanan ZHENG Jinhui GAO Hong SUN Jinsheng 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,4:2
