| 1 | Adsorptive desulfurization over hierarchical beta zeolite by alkaline treatment显示文摘Hierarchical beta zeolites with SiO2 /Al2O3 molar ratios of 16 to 25 were obtained by alkaline treatment in NaOH solution. The effects of treatment temperature on crystallinity, textural properties and chemical composites were studied by XRD, N2 sorption, FT-IR and XRF techniques. The desulfurization performance of parent and alkaline-treated beta zeolites was investigated by static absorption in four model fuels, containing four sulfur compounds of different molecular sizes like thiophene (TP), 3-methylthiophene (3-MT), benzothiophene (BT) and dibenzothiophene (DBT), respectively. The crystallinity was observed to be successfully maintained when the treatment temperature was below 50 C. Mesoporosity of beta zeolite was evidently developed with alkaline treatment. The formation of mesopore remarkably improved the desulfurization performance for TP, 3-MT, BT and DBT, especially for DBT with larger molecular diameter. Though the addition of toluene in the model fuels resulted in a significant drop of the desulfurization performance of mesoporous beta zeolite, the introduction of cerium ions to some extent mitigated the effect of toluene, which means that both the adsorbents porous structure and the adsorption mode are responsible for the desulfurization performance. | 2 | Effects of toluene on thiophene adsorption over NaY and Ce(IV)Y zeolites显示文摘Zeolites NaY and Ce(IV)Y were employed as adsorbents to remove organic sulfur compounds from model gasoline(MG) solutions with and without toluene in static adsorption experiments at room temperature(RT) and atmospheric pressure.The adsorbents were characterized by XRD,XRF and pyridine infrared spectrum(IR).The adsorption experiments show that the desulfurization performance of Ce(IV)Y is much better than that of NaY.The sulfur removal over both NaY and Ce(IV)Y decreases with the increase of toluene concentration in MG,however,the decline tendency on Ce(IV)Y is smooth,and it is steep on NaY.FT-IR spectra of thiophene adsorption indicate that thiophene molecules are mainly adsorbed on NaY via π electron interaction,but on Ce(IV)Y,in addition to the π electron interaction,both Ce4+-S direct interaction and protonation of thiophene also play important roles.Toluene molecules are adsorbed on NaY also via π electron interaction.Although the amount of Brnsted acid sites is increased due to the introduction of Ce4+ ions into NaY zeolite,it is not found to influence the adsorption mode of toluene over Ce(IV)Y.Compared with NaY zeolite,the improved desulfurization performance over Ce(IV)Y for removing organic sulfur compounds from MG solution,especially those containing large amount of aromatics,may be ascribed to the direct Ce(IV)-S interaction,which is much resistant to the influence resulted from toluene adsorption. | Yanchun Shi Xiaojian Yang Fuping Tian Cuiying Jia Yongying Chen | 2012 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,4: | 9 |

| 6 | Review of drought impacts on carbon cycling in grassland ecosystems显示文摘Grasslands play a key role in both carbon and water cycles.In semi-arid and arid grassland areas,the frequency and intensity of droughts are increasing.However,the influence of a drought on grassland carbon cycling is still unclear.In this paper,the relationship between drought and grassland carbon cycling is described from the perspective of drought intensity,frequency,duration,and timing.Based on a large amount of literature,we determined that drought is one of the most prominent threats to grassland carbon cycling,although the impacts of different drought conditions are uncertain.The effects of a drought on grassland carbon cycling are more or less altered by drought-induced disturbances,whether individually or in combination.Additionally,a new conceptual model is proposed to better explain the mechanism of droughts on grassland carbon cycling.At present,evaluations of the effects of droughts on grassland carbon cycling are mainly qualitative.A data fusion model is indispensable for evaluating the fate of carbon cycling in a sustainable grassland system facing global change.In the future,multi-source data and models,based on the development of single and multiple disturbance experiments at the ecosystem level,can be utilized to systematically evaluate drought impacts on grassland carbon cycling at different timescales.Furthermore,more advanced models should be developed to address extreme drought events and their consequences on energy,water,and carbon cycling. | Tianjie LEI Jie FENG Cuiying ZHENG Shuguang LI Yang WANG Zhitao WU Jingxuan LU Guangyuan KAN Changliang SHAO Jinsheng JIA Hui CHENG | 2020 | Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,2: | 2 |

| 11 | Stoichiometric evolutions of PH3 under high pressure:implication for high-Tc superconducting hydrides显示文摘The superconductivity of hydrides under high pressure has attracted a great deal of attention since the recent observation of the superconducting transition at 203 K in strongly compressed H2S.It has been realized that the stoichiometry of hydrides might change under high pressure,which is crucial in understanding the superconducting mechanism.In this study,PH3 was studied to understand its superconducting transition and stoichiometry under high pressure using Raman,IR and X-ray diffraction measurements,as well as theoretical calculations.PH3 is stable below 11.7 GPa and then it starts to dehydrogenate through two dimerization processes at room temperature and pressures up to 25 GPa.Two resulting phosphorus hydrides,P2H4 and P4H6,were verified experimentally and can be recovered to ambient pressure.Under further compression above 35 GPa,the P4H6 directly decomposed into elemental phosphorus.Low temperature can greatly hinder polymerization/decomposition under high pressure and retains P4H6 up to at least 205 GPa.The superconductivity transition temperature of P4H6 is predicted to be 67 K at 200 GPa,which agrees with the reported result,suggesting that it might be responsible for superconductivity at higher pressures.Our results clearly show that P2H4 and P4H6 are the only stable P–H compounds between PH3 and elemental phosphorus,which is helpful for shedding light on the superconducting mechanism. | Ye Yuan Yinwei Li Guoyong Fang Guangtao Liu Cuiying Pei Xin Li Haiyan Zheng Ke Yang Lin Wang | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,3: | 1 |
