1Mogroside V inhibits LPS-induced COX-2 expression/ROS production and overexpression of HO-1 by blocking phosphorylation of AKT1 in RAW264.7 cells显示文摘Momordica grosvenori is a valuable edible plant with medicinal purposes, and it is widely used in medicated diets and traditional Chinese medicine in Asia. Mogroside V (MV), the main bioactive component from M. grosvenori, is comm only used as a natural sweetener. M. grosvenori extracts have been reported to exert potent anti-inflammatory property, however the underlying molecular mechanism still remains unknown. In the present study, the biological effect of MV in inflammation was investigated in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. The ELISA and western blot analysis results showed that MV significantly inhibited LPS-induced prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression. MV markedly decreased the phosphorylation of IxB-a, increased IkB-oc, and reduced nuclear p-65 and C/EBP6. Furthermore, MV attenuated LPS-induced phosphorylation of MAPKs and AKT1, and only the phosphorylation status of AKT1 was found to be consistent with the expression trend of COX-2. Moreover, MV reduced ROS level and restored overexpressed HO-1 and AP-1 to basal level, which can be markedly reversed by AKT1 inhibitor LY294002. These results revealed that AKT1 plays a key role in LPS-induced COX-2 expression, and acts as a mediator to keep the redox balance in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. MV exerts anti-inflammatory property by blocking AKT1-mediated NF-kB and C/EBP6 activation, ROS generation and AP-1/ HO-1 expression. 3Exploring mission planning method for a team of carrier aircraft launching显示文摘High-level efficiency and safety are of great significance for improving the fighting capability of an aircraft carrier. One way to enhance efficiency and safety level is to organize the carrier aircraft into combat effectively. This paper studies the mission planning problem for a team of carrier aircraft launching, and a novel distributed mission planning architecture is proposed. The architecture is hierarchical and is comprised of four levels, namely, the input level, the coordination level,the path planning level and the execution level. Realistic constraints in each level of the distributed architecture, such as the vortex flow effect, the crowd effect and the motion of aircraft, are considered in the model. To solve this problem, a distributed path planning algorithm based on the asynchronous planning strategy is developed. The proposed Mission Planning Approach for Carrier Aircraft Launching(MPACAL) is validated using the setups of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier.Compared to the isolated planning architecture and the centralized planning architecture, the proposed distributed planning architecture has advantages in coordinating the launch tasks not only belonging to the same catapult but also when all different catapults are considered. 4Numerical Simulation on Flow and Heat Transfer at Shell-Side of Flat-Tube Heat Exchangers显示文摘The fluid flow and heat transfer of the shell-side in one type of flat-tube heat exchangers(FHE) were studied through numerical simulation and experimental methods.In the numerical simulation,hot/cold air was set as working fluid,and the standard k-ε turbulence model supplemented by boundary conditions was used,and also the control volume method was used to the discrete control equations.Compared with the same type of circular-tube heat exchangers(CHE),the numerical simulation results show that the pressure drop at the shell-side of FHE decreases by 12%-20%,and heat transfer coefficient increases by about 24%.The coefficient of integral performance Nu/ζ 0.29 has an increment of 22%-34%.Under the same conditions,the experimental results of temperature and the overall pressure drop show that the deviation percentage with those of numerical simulation are less than 8% and 25%,respectively.Both results verify that the heat transfer efficiency and flow resistance characteristics of FHEs are superior to that of CHEs.YANG Xia ZHANG Jie YU Jiuyang WU Yanyang LUO Yan GUO Jia 2010Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2010,15,5:6
5Delphinidin-induced autophagy protects pancreatic β cells against apoptosis resulting from high-glucose stress via AMPK signaling pathway显示文摘Hyperglycemia,a diagnostic characteristic of diabetes mellitus,is detrimental to pancreatic 0 cells.Delphinidin,a member of the anthocyanin family,inhibits glucose absorption,increases glucagonlike peptide(GLP-1)secretion,and improves insulin secretion in diabetes.However,whether delphinidin plays a protective role in pancreatic p-cell mass and function is not clear.In this study,delphinidin was found to decrease the high-glucose-induced apoptosis of RIN-m5F pancreatic β cells.In addition,delphinidin induced autophagy in RIN-m5F cells under the normal and highglucose conditions,while 3-methyladenine(3-MA)inhibition of autophagy significantly diminished the protective role of delphinidin against high-glucose-induced apoptosis of pancreatic β cells.Delphinidin also decreased the level of cleaved caspase 3 and increased the phosphorylation level of AMP-activated protein kinase a(AMPKa)Thr172.Compound C,an AMPK inhibitor,was found to decrease the ratio of LC3-II/LC3-I,and the apoptotic rate of high-glucose-injured cells was in creased after treatme nt with delphinidin,in dicating that delphinidi n attenuated the n egative effects of high-glucose stress to cells.In con elusion,our data dem on strate that delphi nidin protects pancreatic B cells against high-glucose-induced injury by autophagy regulation via the AMPK signaling pathway.These findings might shed light on the underlying mechanisms of diabetes and help improve the prevention and therapy of this common disease.Dengni Lai Mingyong Huang Lingyan Zhao Yan Tian Yong Li Dongpo Liu Yanyang Wu Fangming Deng 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,12:3
6Organosulfur compounds induce cytoprotective autophagy against apoptosis by inhibiting mTOR phosphorylation activity in macrophages显示文摘Organosulfur compounds (OSCs)are the bioactive components of garlic.Some OSCs have apoptotic or autophagy-inducing effects.Autophagy plays roles in both cytoprotection and apoptosis-related cell death,and the interaction between autophagy and apoptosis is important in the modulation of immune responses.The mechanism of an OSC-mediated effect via the interaction of autophagy and apoptosis is unknown.In this study,the effects of five OSC compounds on autophagy in the macrophage cell line RAW264.7 and primary macrophages were investigated.We found that S-allylcysteine (SAC),diallyl disulde (DADS)and diallyl tetrasulfide (DTS)treatment increased the number of autophagosomes of RAW264.7 cells,inhibited the phosphorylation of ribosomal protein S6 kinase beta-1 (p70S6K/S6K1)which is a substrate of mammalian target of rapamycin (roTOR),and significantly enhanced autophagy flux.The induction of autophagy by SAC,DADS and DTS was inhibited by stably knocking down the expression of autophagy-related gene 5 (ATG5)with short hairpin RNA (shRNA).Further experiments confirmed that SAC,DADS and DTS also induced apoptosis in RAW264.7 cells.The induction of apoptosis and Caspase 3 activity by SAC,DADS and DTS were increased by stably knocking down of ATG5 expression with shRNA in RAW264.7 cells or treating with 5 mM 3-MA in primary macrophages.Our results suggest that SAC,DADS and DTS induce both autophagy and apoptosis.The autophagy induction protects macrophages from apoptosis by inhibiting mTOR phosphorylation activity to maintain the mass of immune cells.Yanyang Wu Yongquan Hu Haiyan Zhou Jiayu Zhu Zhongyi Tong Si Qin Dongbo Liu 2018Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2018,50,11:2
7Experimental Study on Convective Heat Transfer in Tube-Side of Water Jacket-Tube Heat Exchanger by Electrohydrodynamics Effect显示文摘The electrohydrodynamics (EHD) enhancement of convection heat transfer of water in a jacket tube heat exchanger was studied through an experimental method in this paper. In the experiment,a DC high voltage electrode was set in the central tube-side of the heat exchanger,and the high voltage electrode in the tube-side was adjustable in the range of 0-40 kV. Five differ-ent combinations of heat transfer enhancement experiments were conducted under the different voltage and rate of flow. The results indicate that the maximal enhancement coefficient θ is 1.224 when the flow rate of tube-side inlet is 0.1 m3/h. It is proved that,for the work medium of water,the convective heat transfer can be enhanced by applying high electric field. 8Vitamin B3 inhibits apoptosis and promotes autophagy of isletβcells under high glucose stress显示文摘Background:Hyperglycemia is a typical symptom of diabetes.High glucose induces apoptosis of isletβcells.While autophagy functions in cytoprotection and autophagic cell death.The interaction between autophagy and apoptosis is important in the modulation of the function of isletβcells.Vitamin B3 can induce autophagy and inhibit isletβapoptosis.Method:The mechanism of vitamin B3-mediated protective effect on the function of isletβcells was explored by the method of western blot,immunofluorescence and flow cytometry.Results:In the present study,high glucose stress increased the apoptosis rate,while vitamin B3 reduced the apoptosis rate.The effect of vitamin B3 on autophagy flux under normal and high glucose stress was also investigated.Vitamin B3 increased the number of autophagosomes and increased the light chain(LC)3-II/LC3-I ratio.In contrast,vitamin B3 decreased sequestosome 1(SQSTM1)/p62 protein expression and inhibited the phosphorylation of mammalian ribosomal protein S6 kinaseβ-1(p70S6K/S6K1),which was a substrate of mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)under normal and high glucose stress.To further verify the protective effect of vitamin B3 on apoptosis,we treated isletβcell RIN-m5F with autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine(3-MA).Vitamin B3 decreased the apoptosis rate under high glucose stress,while the inhibition of apoptosis by vitamin B3 was blocked after adding 3-MA.Conclusion:Our data suggested that vitamin B3 reduced the apoptosis rate ofβcells,possibly through inducing autophagy under high glucose stress.YU ZHANG XI’AN ZHOU CHUNYAN ZHANG DENGNI LAI DONGBO LIU YANYANG WU 2023BIOCELL2023,47,4:1

12Effect of Grain Size and Compression Direction on the Hot Deformation Characteristics of High-Cr Ultra-Super-Critical Rotor Steel with Columnar Grains显示文摘The columnar grains with a duplex grain size distribution in the ingot increase the difficulty of the hot forging of the as-cast high Cr ultra-super-critical rotor steel.The hot deformation behaviors of the high Cr steel with different initial grain sizes under various compression directions were investigated.The results show that the hot deformation characteristic is strongly grain size and compression direction dependent.The finer grain size and compression direction perpendicular to the columnar grains increase the flow stress and activation energies of hot deformation,comparing with the large grain and deformation direction parallel to the columnar grains.The relationships between flow stress and deformation parameters for the different initial structures conform to the established constitutive equations.The former enhances the critical stress of the dynamic recrystallization(DRX),inhibiting the occurrence of DRX and reducing the dimensions of DRX grains.Yanyang Wu Qiaodan Hu Zongye Ding Jianguo Li 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,5:0
13Computational study of transition metal single-atom catalysts supported on nitrogenated carbon nanotubes for electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction显示文摘Developing efficient and stable catalysts for the electrocatalytic N_(2)reduction reaction(NRR)shows promise in nitrogen fixation.Here,we proposed active and stable single-atom catalysts(SACs)toward NRR,where transition metals are anchored on nitrogenated carbon nanotubes(NCNTs).Among the screened nine common transition metals(Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Mo,Ru,Rh,and Ag)on(4,4)NCNTs,we found Mo-NCNT possesses the most excellent NRR catalytic activity and selectivity with a low overpotential of 0.29 V.Then,the NRR performance of Mo-NCNT was further engineered by controlling the nanotube diameter,where the lowest overpotential is 0.18 V at a diameter of 9.6Å.In addition,we found a linear scaling relation between*NNH and*NH_(2)on the studied catalysts with the exception of(2,2)and(3,3)Mo-NCNTs,owing to their extremely unstable structures.We attribute the outstanding NRR performance of Mo-NCNT to the moderate adsorption of N_(2)due to the slightly low d-band center of Mo,and the charge donating and accepting capacity of NCNTs.This work has provided a deeper insight into designing highefficiency and stable NRR SACs supported by NCNTs.Yanyang Qin Yan Li Wenshan Zhao Shenghua Chen Tiantian Wu Yaqiong Su 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
14Statistical properties of ultrasound speckles reflected from an interface显示文摘The first- and second-order statistical properties of ultrasound -speckles reflected from an interface are studied theoretically and experimentally. A theoretical model for predicting statistical properties of ultrasound speckles is constructed based on the Fresnel-Huygens principle and three basic assumptions. Distributions of amplitude and phase of ultrasound speckles in a scattering space are studied. And the study shows that they are in the form of Rayleigh and uniform distribution respectively. Using the proposed model, the average transverse size of the speckles within a scattering domain which are received by a focus probe is investigated. The average transverse size is found to be dependent on the characteristics of the measuring system only, and does not vary with the position in the domain.
