8Optimization of Blade Geometry of Savonius Hydrokinetic Turbine Based onGenetic Algorithm显示文摘Savonius hydrokinetic turbine is a kind of turbine set which is suitable for low-velocity conditions.Unlike conventional turbines,Savonius turbines employ S-shaped blades and have simple internal structures.Therefore,there is a large space for optimizing the blade geometry.In this study,computational fluid dynamics(CFD)numerical simulation and genetic algorithm(GA)were used for the optimal design.The optimization strategies and methods were determined by comparing the results calculated by CFD with the experimental results.The weighted objective function was constructed with the maximum power coefficient Cp and the high-power coefficient range R under multiple working conditions.GA helps to find the optimal individual of the objective function.Compared the optimal scheme with the initial scheme,the overlap ratioβincreased from 0.2 to 0.202,and the clearance ratioεincreased from 0 to 0.179,the blade circumferential angleγincreased from 0°to 27°,the blade shape extended more towards the spindle.The overall power of Savonius turbines was maintained at a high level over 22%,R also increased from 0.73 to 1.02.In comparison with the initial scheme,the energy loss of the optimal scheme at high blade tip speed is greatly reduced,and this reduction is closely related to the optimization of blade geometry.As R becomes larger,Savonius turbines can adapt to the overall working conditions and meet the needs of its work in low flow rate conditions.The results of this paper can be used as a reference for the hydrodynamic optimization of Savonius turbine runners.Jiahao Lu Fangfang Zhang Weilong Guang Yanzhao Wu Ran Tao Xiaoqin Li Ruofu Xiao 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,12:0
9Enhanced efficiency of top-emission InP-based green quantum dot light-emitting diodes with optimized angular distribution显示文摘High resolution and wide color gamut are two key requirements for novel display technologies. Owing to the distinguishing advantages over conventional displays, such as intrinsic wide color gamut and the possibility to achieve high resolution, quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLED) have drawn considerable attention in recent years. On the other hand, indium phosphide quantum dots (InP QDs) have shown a great potential as a replacement for cadmium selenide (CdSe) QDs in display applications due to the inherent toxicity of cadmium-based QDs. In this study, we investigate a top-emission InP-based green QLED with optimized angular distribution. 10Equation-of-motion/Linear-response Coupled Cluster Methods with an Approximate Treatment on Triples for Singly-excited States with Pronounced Double Excitation Character显示文摘In this work,we investigate the performance of various equation-of-motion/linear-response coupled cluster(EOM/LR-CC)methods with an approximate treatment for triples on excitation energies(EEs)by comparing with EOM-CCSDT(SDT=single,double,triple excitations)results.The focus of this work is on singly-excited states with percentages of the single excitation part(R_(1),%)from CC3 between 50%and 80%,i.e.,excited states with a pronounced double excitation character.CC3 is shown to provide EEs that agree well with EOM-CCSDT results for such excited states.Moreover,reliable EEs can be obtained with EOM-CCSD(T)(a)^(*) and CCSDR(3)for excited states with R1 from CC3 larger than 80%.As for singly-excited states with R1 from CC3 between 80%and 50%,EEs with EOM-CCSD^(*),CCSDR(T)andδ-CR-EOM-CC(2,3)-D agree reasonably well with those of EOM-CCSDT.However,it is too costly to choose a proper method for singly-excited states based on R_(1) of CC3 since CC3 is a rather expensive method.On the other hand,our results show that difference between EEs with EOM-CCSD and EOM-CCSD(T)(a)*[ΔE_((T)(a)*)]correlates well with R1 from CC3 andΔE_((T)(a)*)is about 0.25 eV when R_(1)(CC3)is 80%.Appropriate methods to obtain reasonable EEs for singly-excited state can be chosen based on whetherΔE_((T)(a)*)is larger than 0.25 eV.HU Yanmei LU Yanzhao WANG Zhifan WANG Fan 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,6:0
11Transcriptome Profiling of Flower Development Reveals Key Genes Mediating Yellow Formation in Tree Peony显示文摘Tree peony cultivars with yellow flowers are rare and valuable,but the molecular mechanism of pigment accumulation is not clear.In this study,the petal transcriptome of three developmental stages were sequenced to determine the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)regulating yellow flowers color.The results showed that 10,842 and 12,022 DEGs were screened in stage 1 vs.stage 2 and in stage 2 vs.stage 3,respectively.Through analysis of flavonoid structural genes(FSGs),we found that the transcription level of DFR was very low in the three developmental stages.In a small group of cultivars,the DFR transcription level of red flowers was 862 times higher than that of yellow flowers.These data suggested that the flavonoid pathway is interrupted in the later stage due to the low transcriptional level of DFR,which limits the biosynthesis of anthocyanins in yellow flowers.The transcription levels of F3’H and FLS were upregulated from stage 1 to stage 2,while those of CHI and FLS were downregulated from stage 2 to stage 3.In addition,67 MYBs and 44 bHLHs showed similar transcription profiles with different members of FSGs.The results deepen our understanding of the molecular mechanism of yellow pigment accumulation in tree peony.Yanzhao Zhang Chenyang Yu Xi Lu Yanwei Cheng 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,11:0
12Clipping discrete multi-tone for peak-power-constraint IM/DD optical systems显示文摘High peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR)is a major drawback of discrete multi-tone(DMT)in peak-power-constraint(PPC)intensity-modulation/direct-detection(IM/DD)optical systems.Symmetric clipping operation is a frequently-used and practical method for mitigating the PAPR of the DMT signal.However,clipping noise is inevitably induced by the symmetric clipping operation,thereby deteriorating the system’s performance.In this paper,we study the statistical characteristics of the clipping noise in detail.Depending on the statistical characteristics,clipping-noise-cancellation(CNC)algorithms are proposed to mitigate the clipping noise in the clipping DMT systems.Theoretically,the clipping noise can be completely removed using the low-density-parity-check-assisted CNC algorithm(LDPC-assisted CNC algorithm).To verify the superiority of the clipping DMT with the CNC algorithm,we conduct an experiment with a50 Gb/s DMT system using 10G-class commercial devices for the scenario of PPC passive optical networks.The receiver sensitivity of the clipping DMT system with the CNC algorithm can reach-24 d Bm at a 20%soft-decision forward-error-correction limit,which is 2.5 d B higher than that of the DMT system without clipping operation.The clipping operation and the CNC algorithm are added after the original digital signal processing,thereby demonstrating the potential to efectively overcome the drawback in DMT signals and other high-PAPR signals.Ji ZHOU Liangchuan LI Jiale HE Xiaofeng LU Yu BO Guanyu WANG Yuanda HUANG Gengchen LIU Yanzhao LU Shecheng GAO Yuanhua FENG Shancheng ZHAO Weiping LIU Changyuan YU Zhaohui LI 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,5:0
