1TST STARR+:治疗出口梗阻型便秘的一项新术式显示文摘直肠前突和直肠内脱垂是引起出口梗阻型便秘(obstructed defecation syndrome,ODS)常见病因。经肛门吻合器直肠部分切除术(stapled transanal rectal resection,STARR)是近年来国际上治疗ODS的最常用术式。常规STARR需要使用两把PPH吻合器,且操作较复杂、学习曲线较长、切除组织容积有限。 Naldini等[1]报道了一种外径为36 mm、吻合腔容积大于35 cm3、钉高4.2 mm且具备4个可视开窗的圆形吻合器,将其应用于ODS和脱垂痔的治疗,疗效显著,并将该技术命名为TST STARR+。2013年4月至2014年5月,武汉大学中南医院结直肠肛门外科运用该技术治疗ODS患者100例,疗效满意,现报道如下。任相海 江从庆 张廷涛 Yaseen S 吴云华 杨贵义 钱群 郑科炎 丁召 刘韦成 2015中华胃肠外科杂志2015,18,1:24
2Transanal surgery for obstructed defecation syndrome: Literature review and a single-center experience显示文摘Obstructed defecation syndrome(ODS) is a functional disorder commonly encountered by colorectal surgeons and gastroenterologists, and greatly affects the quality of life of patients from both societal and psychological aspects. The underlying anatomical and pathophysiological changes of ODS are complex. However, intra-rectal intussusception and rectocele are frequently found in patients with ODS and both are thought to play an important role in the pathogenesis of ODS. With the development of evaluation methods in anorectal physiology laboratories and radiology studies, a great variety of new operative procedures, especially transanal procedures, have been invented to treat ODS. However, no procedure has been proved to be superior to others at present. Each operation has its own merits and defects. Thus, choosing appropriate transanal surgical procedures for the treatment of ODS remains a challenge for all surgeons. This review provides an introduction of the current problems and options for treatment of ODS and a detailed summary of the essential assessments needed for patient evaluation before carrying out transanal surgery. Besides, an overview of the benefits and problems of current transanal surgical procedures for treatment of ODS is summarized in this review. 3改性活性炭对模拟柴油中噻吩类硫化物的吸附性能显示文摘将粉状活性炭(AC)分别经过浓硝酸、浓硫酸和王水氧化后得到3种改性活性炭NAC、SAC和AAC,测定了改性前后活性炭在30℃和50℃对正辛烷溶液中苯并噻吩(BT)、二苯并噻吩(DBT)和3-甲基噻吩(3-MT)的静态等温吸附数据,并用Langmuir方程对数据进行了处理。结果表明,改性后活性炭对噻吩类硫化物的吸附性能均有所增强,其强弱顺序为AAC>NAC>SAC>AC,在30℃下AAC对正辛烷溶液中BT、DBT和3-MT的最大吸附硫含量分别比AC提高了88.7%、63.4%和95.1%。活性炭对噻吩类硫化物的吸附性能强弱与其在红外谱图中含氧官能团的峰强度大小和Boehm滴定分析中含氧官能团数量多少是一致的。在30℃下,再生4次后的AAC对正辛烷溶液中的BT、DBT和3-MT硫的平衡吸附量仍可达到初始吸附量的71.5%、72.7%和40.7%,再生效果良好。陈博 孟洪 Muhammad Yaseen 李春喜 2011离子交换与吸附2011,27,2:7
4Recent advances in myeloid-derived suppressor cell biology显示文摘In recent years,studying the role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)in many pathological inflammatory conditions has become a very active research area.Although the role of MDSCs in cancer is relatively well established,their role in non-cancerous pathological conditions remains in its infancy resulting in much confusion.Our objectives in this review are to address some recent advances in MDSC research in order to minimize such confusion and to provide an insight into their function in the context of other diseases.The following topics will be specifically focused upon:(1)definition and characterization of MDSCs;(2)whether all MDSC populations consist of immature cells;(3)technical issues in MDSC isolation,estimation and characterization;(4)the origin of MDSCs and their anatomical distribution in health and disease;(5)mediators of MDSC expansion and accumulation;(6)factors that determine the expansion of one MDSC population over the other;(7)the Yin and Yang roles of MDSCs.Moreover,the functions of MDSCs will be addressed throughout the text.Mahmoud Mohammad Yaseen Nizar Mohammad Abuharfeil Homa Darmani Ammar Daoud 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,2:7

6Strategies for Revitalization of Traditional Medicine显示文摘Traditional medicine (TM) plays an inevitable role in drug discovery and development. Most of the therapeutically useful molecules used in the present day are inspired from TM. Herbal drugs are the oldest forms of medicines used for the treatment of various ailments and the TM of every country has a long history of their usage. To develop more data on their quality, safety, and efficacy, so also to improve the consumer's need of modern days several thrust areas of research are to be focused on the development of TM. Based on the above concept, a paradigm shift is required for the revitalization of TM. These facts along with the modern scientific approaches, molecular tools, and strategies make it necessary for TM to be revitalized. 7Plasma diagnostics by optical emission spectroscopy on manganese ore in conjunction with XRD, XRF and SEM-EDS显示文摘Manganese(Mn) is an important industrial mineral.Information about the chemical and phase constitution along with the concentration of impurities presented in Mn ore is compulsory in assessing its suitability for different applications.We performed the qualitative and quantitative analysis of low-grade Mn ore(LGMO) using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) in conjunction with x-ray diffraction(XRD), x-ray fluorescence(XRF) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) coupled with energy dispersive x-ray electron spectroscopy(EDS).The optical emission spectra of the LGMO sample displayed the presence of Mn, Si, Ca, Fe, Al, Mg,V, Ti, Sr, Ni, Na, Ba and Li.The plasma parameters, electron temperature and number density were estimated using the Boltzmann plot and Stark broadening line profile methods and were found to be 7500 K±750 K and 8.18±0.8×1017 cm-3, respectively.Quantitative analysis was performed using the calibration-free LIBS(CF-LIBS) method and its outcome along with XRD, XRF and SEM-EDS data showed almost analogous elemental composition, while the LIBS method gave acceptably precise elemental analysis by detecting the low atomic number element Li besides V and Sr.The results obtained using LIBS for the LGMO exhibited its ability as a powerful analytical tool and XRF, XRD and SEM-EDS as complementary methods for the compositional analysis of complex low-grade mineral ore.Muhammad FAHAD Sajad ALI Yaseen IQBAL 2019Plasma Science and Technology2019,21,8:4
8Simultaneous operation of dibenzothiophene hydrodesulfurization and methanol reforming reactions over Pd promoted alumina based catalysts显示文摘In the current study simultaneous reactions of hydrodesulfurization(HDS) of dibenzothiophene(DBT) and reforming of methanol in a micro-autoclave reactor were studied over bi-metallic(Co-Mo/Al2O3 and Ni-Mo/Al2O3) and tri-metallic(Pd-Co-Mo/Al2O3 and Pd-Ni-Mo/Al2O3) catalyst systems which were prepared by incipient impregnation method.In situ hydrogen utilization and low Pd loadings were the major targets of this study.For comparison purpose,catalytic activity was separately determined for both the methanol reforming and HDS of DBT reactions as well.Ni based catalysts were confirmed with better activity than Co ones for both the reactions with Pd promoted ones ranking at the top i.e.Pd-Ni-Mo/Al2O3 > Ni-Mo/Al2O3 > Pd-Co-Mo/Al2O3 > Co-Mo/Al2O3 where Pd-Ni-Mo/Al2O3 showed 91% DBT conversion at 380 ℃ and 12 h reaction time.Some of the selected organic additives on catalytic activity were tested for their effect toward HDS reaction which was unique with close relation to their chemical nature.Reaction products were quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed via HPLC and GC-MS techniques respectively which helped in elucidating reaction mechanism.Muhammad Yaseen Muhammad Shakimllah Imtiaz Ahmad Ata Ur Rahman Faiz Ur Rahman Muhammad Usman Rauf Razzaq 2012燃料化学学报2012,40,6:3
9Oxidative desulfurization of dibenzothiophene over Fe promoted Co–Mo/Al_2O_3 and Ni–Mo/Al_2O_3 catalysts using hydrogen peroxide and formic acid as oxidants显示文摘This work reports the enhancing effect of a highly cost effective and efficient metal, Fe, incorporation to Co or Ni based Mo/Al_2O_3 catalysts in the oxidative desulfurization(ODS) of dibenzothiophene(DBT) using H_2O_2 and formic acid as oxidants. The influence of operating parameters i.e. reaction time, catalyst dose, reaction temperature and oxidant amount on oxidation process was investigated. Results revealed that 99% DBT conversion was achieved at 60 °C and 150 min reaction time over Fe–Ni–Mo/Al_2O_3. Fe tremendously enhanced the ODS activity of Co or Ni based Mo/Al_2O_3 catalysts following the activity order: Fe–Ni–Mo/Al_2O_3 NFe–Co–Mo/Al_2O_3 NNi–Mo/Al_2O_3 NCo–Mo/Al_2O_3, while H_2O_2 exhibited higher oxidation activity than formic acid over all catalyst systems. Insight about the surface morphology and textural properties of fresh and spent catalysts were achieved using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), energy dispersive X-ray(EDX)analysis, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy(AAS) and BET surface area analysis, which helped in the interpretation of experimental data. 10Shape-stabilized phase change materials with high phase change enthalpy based on synthetic comb-like poly(acrylonitrile-co-ethylene glycol)for thermal management显示文摘Shape-stabilized poly(acrylonitrile-co-ethylene glycol)(PANEG) copolymer with comb-like structure was prepared via simple free-radical solution polymerization, where acrylic acid poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether ester(MPEGA) and acrylonitrile(AN) were employed as monomers. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), 1 H and 13 C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1 H and 13 C NMR), wide-angle X-ray diffraction(WXAD) were used to characterize the chemical structure of resultant PANEG. In addition, the influences of MPEGA contents on energy storage performance, thermal reliability and thermal stability of PANEG materials were evaluated based on differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), polarizing optical microscopy(POM), thermal infrared imager and thermogravimetry analyzer(TG). The comb-like PANEG demonstrated a favorable temperature regulation performance and thermal reliability. With the increase of MPEGA contents, the enthalpy of PANEG increased, and when the content of MPEGA was 80 wt%, the phase change enthalpy of synthesized PANEG-80 reached to 106.70 J/g with a stable heat storage performance after 100 thermal cycling. Thermal infrared images and cooling curves revealed that synthetic PANEG could sustain a temperature in ranges of 22–31 °C for continuous 25 min, presenting excellent temperature regulation performance. 15Green synthesis of bentonite-supported iron nanoparticles as a heterogeneous Fenton-like catalyst:Kinetics of decolorization of reactive blue 238 dye显示文摘This study aimed to synthesize green tea nano zero-valent iron(GT-NZVI)and bentonite-supported green tea nano zero-valent iron(BGT-NZVI)nanoparticles using green tea extracts in an environmentally sustainable way.Bentonite was used as a support material because it disperses and stabilizes GT-NZVI,and it helps to reduce the cost,increase the adsorption capacity of GT-NZVI,and decrease the optimum amount of GT-NZVI used in Fenton-like oxidation.A scanning electron microscope,an atomic force microscope,and a Fourier transform infrared spectroscope were used to characterize GT-NZVI and B-GT-NZVI,while the zeta potential was measured to evaluate the stability of iron nanoparticles.The decolorization kinetics of reactive blue 238(RB 238)dye in the aqueous phase in the Fenton-like oxidation process were investigated as well.The effects of various experimental conditions such as reaction time,dosages of catalysts,concentration of H2O2,temperature,addition of inorganic salts,and other parameters were investigated.The results show that the oxidative degradation efficiencies of RB 238 dye catalyzed by GT-NZVI and B-GT-NZVI were 93.5%and 96.2%,respectively,at the optimum reaction conditions as follows:c(H2O2)¼5 mmol/L,r(GT-NZVI)¼0.5 g/L or r(B-GT-NZVI)¼0.5 g/L,c(RB 238 dye)¼0.05 mmol/L,and pH¼2.5 at 180 min.The best catalytic performance was exhibited when B-GT-NZVI was used.Three kinetic models were employed,and the second-order model was found to be the best model representing the experimental kinetic data of RB 238 dye.The value of activation energy decreased from 38.22 kJ/mol for GT-NZVI to 14.13 kJ/mol for B-GT-NZVI.This indicates that the effect of B-GT-NZVI in decreasing the energy barrier is more pronounced than that of the GT-NZVI catalyst,leading to improved Fenton-like oxidation processes.©2020 Hohai University.Production and hosting by Elsevier B.V.This is an open access article under the CC BY-NC-ND license(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/).Ahmed Khudhair Hassan Ghayda Yaseen Al-Kindi Dalal Ghanim 2020Water Science and Engineering2020,13,4:2
