3Relationship between metabolic enzyme activities and bioaccumulation kinetics of PAHs in zebrafish(Danio rerio)显示文摘Many studies have investigated bioaccumulation and metabolism of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)in aquatic organisms.However,lack of studies investigated both processes simultaneously,and the interaction between these two processes is less understood so far.This study investigated the bioaccumulation kinetics of PAHs and metabolic enzyme activities,including total cytochrome P450(CYPs)and total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD),in zebrafish.Mature zebrafish were exposed to the mixture of phenanthrene and anthracene under constant concentration maintained by passive dosing systems for 16 days.The results showed that PAH concentrations in zebrafish experienced a peak value after exposure for 1.5 days,and then decreased gradually.The bioaccumulation equilibrium was achieved after exposure for 12 days.Both of the uptake rate constants(k_u)and the elimination rate constants(k_e)decreased after the peak value.The variation of PAH concentrations and metabolic enzyme activities in zebrafish had an interactive relationship.The activities of CYPs and T-SOD increased initially with the increase of PAH concentrations,but decreased to the lowest state when PAH concentrations reached the peak value.When the bioaccumulation equilibrium of PAHs was achieved,CYPs and T-SOD activities also reached the steady state.In general,CYPs and T-SOD activities were activated after exposure to PAHs.The decrease of PAH concentrations in zebrafish after the peak value may be attributed to the great drop of k_uand the variation of CYPs activities.This study suggests that an interactive relationship exists between bioaccumulation kinetics of PAHs and metabolic enzyme activities in aquatic organisms.Haotian Wang Yayuan Li Xinghui Xia Xinyue Xiong 2018Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,3:4
4Profiles of phenolics,carotenoids and antioxidative capacities of thermal processed white,yellow,orange and purple sweet potatoes grown in Guilin,China显示文摘The objectives of this study were to systematically compare phenolic profiles,carotenoids profiles and antioxidant activities of raw and cooked sweet potatoes of five varieties(white,yellow,orange,light purple and deep purple).Total phenolic content(TPC),monomeric anthocyanin content(MAC),total carotenoid content(TCC),2-diohenyl-1-picryhydrazyl(DPPH)free radical scavenging capacities and ferric reducing antioxidant powder(FRAP)were determined by colorimetric methods.Higher anthocyanin contents and antioxidant capacities were detected in purple sweet potato species,while higher carotenoid contents were detected in yellow and orange sweet potato.All cooked sweet potato exhibited significantly(p<0.05)lower TPC,MAC,TCC,DPPH and FRAP values as compared to the respective raw samples.Under the same cooking time,steaming was good for the retention of TPC,roasting was good for keeping anthocyanins,and boiling was beneficial to preserve carotenoids.Yayuan Tang Weixi Cai Baojun Xu 2015Food Science and Human Wellness2015,4,3:3

6The Generalized Thermodynamic Temperature and the New Expressions of the First and the Second Law of Thermodynamics显示文摘The classical thermodynamics reflects the significant relationship between the heat and the temperature. On the basis of the relationships, according to the mathematical derivation, this paper structures the conceptions of generalized heat, generalized thermodynamic temperature, generalized entropy and so on. The series of conceptions in the classical thermodynamics is merely a special case of the generalized thermodynamics. Based on these conceptions of generalized thermodynamics, this paper presents the new expressions of the first law and the second law of thermodynamics. In other words, these expressions are endued with new explanations. The Eq. 9ISHD:Intelligent Standing Human Detection of Video Surveillance for the Smart Examination Environment显示文摘In the environment of smart examination rooms, it is important to quickly and accurately detect abnormal behavior(human standing) for the construction of a smart campus. Based on deep learning, we propose an intelligentstanding human detection (ISHD) method based on an improved single shot multibox detector to detect thetarget of standing human posture in the scene frame of exam room video surveillance at a specific examinationstage. ISHD combines the MobileNet network in a single shot multibox detector network, improves the posturefeature extractor of a standing person, merges prior knowledge, and introduces transfer learning in the trainingstrategy, which greatly reduces the computation amount, improves the detection accuracy, and reduces the trainingdifficulty. 10Flexible Broad-Range Pressure Sensors Enabled by Deformation-Induced Conductive Channels in 3D Graphene Foam@Polydimethylsiloxane Composite for Precise Vibrational Signal Detection显示文摘Here we report the design and fabrication of high-performance pressure sensors based on three-dimensional(3D)graphene foam flled polydimethylsiloxane(GF@PDMS)composite with a broad sensing range spaning from 0.05 kPa to 130 kPa.The interpretation of device functioning mechanism can be classified into low and high pressure sensing regions.In the low pressure region(<15 kPa),the pressure loading leads to the temporal connection of micro-cracks in GF scaffold and forming conductive channels.In the high pressure region(15 kPa to 130 kPa),the pressure induced deformation of GF results in the better connections among micro-cracks and the shortening of conductive pathway to further decrease the electrical resistance.The GF@PDMS sensors exhibited accuracy,sensibility and reproducibility to detect pressure signals with re-markable stability for over 16000 loading-unloading cycles,indicating its great potential for practical applications.Moreover,the GF@PDMS sensors also showed high performances in the detection of dynamic pressures,such as subtle mechanical vibration signals,as well as physiology vibrational signals generated by human throats.We expect this technology could be integrated into different sensing systems for the applications in wearable smart elec-tronics and human-machine communications.Jiankun Miao Yayuan Shi Hongfei Zhu Mingyi Gao 2020Chinese Journal of Chemistry2020,38,7:1
