2Enhanced thermoelectric performance of n-type bismuth-telluridebased alloys via In alloying and hot deformation for mid-temperature power generation显示文摘Bismuth telluride-based alloys are the most widely used commercial thermoelectric(TE)material for room temperature refrigeration.Here,we successfully shift up the optimum figure of merit of n-type bismuth-telluride-based TE materials for mid-temperature power generation.SbI_(3)doping is used to regulate the carrier concentration and Indium alloying to increase the bandgap,suppressing the detrimental bipolar conduction in the mid-temperature range.The lattice thermal conductivity is significantly reduced due to the multiscale microstructures induced via hot deformation.As a result,a peak zT of~1.1 was attained at 625 K for Bi_(1.85)In_(0.15)Te_(2)Se+0.25 wt%SbI_(3)alloy after hot deformation,showing a great application prospect of this alloy in mid-temperature TE power generation.Feng Li Renshuang Zhai Yehao Wu Zhaojun Xu Xinbing Zhao Tiejun Zhu 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,3:5
3Contextual and selective attention networks for image captioning显示文摘The steady momentum of innovations has convincingly demonstrated the high capability of attention mechanisms for the sequence to sequence learning.Nevertheless,the computation of attention across a sequence is often independent in either hard or soft mode,thereby resulting in undesired effects such as repeated modeling.In this paper,we introduce a new design to holistically explore the interdependencies between attention histories and locally emphasize the strong focus of each attention on image captioning.Specifically,we present a contextual and selective attention network(namely Co SA-Net)that novelly memorizes contextual attention and brings out the principal components from each attention.Technically,Co SA-Net writes/updates the attended image region features into memory and reads from memory when measuring attention in the next time step to leverage contextual knowledge.Only the regions with the top-k highest attention scores are selected,and each region feature is individually employed to compute an output distribution.The final output is an attention-weighted mixture of all k distributions.In turn,the attention is then upgraded by the posterior distribution conditioned on the output.Our Co SA-Net is appealing given that it is pluggable to the sentence decoder in any neural captioning model.Extensive experiments on the COCO image captioning dataset demonstrate the superiority of Co SA-Net.More remarkably,integrating Co SA-Net to a one-layer long short-term memory(LSTM)decoder increases CIDEr-D performance from 125.2%to 128.5%on the COCO Karpathy test split.When further endowing a two-layer LSTM decoder with Co SA-Net,the CIDEr-D score is boosted to 129.5%.Jing WANG Yehao LI Yingwei PAN Ting YAO Jinhui TANG Tao MEI 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,12:2

13Bioactive peptides for anticancer therapies显示文摘Cancer is a serious concern in public health worldwide.Numerous modalities including surgery,radiotherapy,and chemotherapy,have been used for cancer therapies in clinic.Despite progress in anticancer therapies,the usage of these methods for cancer treatment is often related to deleterious side effects and multidrug resistance of conventional anticancer drugs,which have prompted the development of novel therapeutic methods.Anticancer peptides(ACPs),derived from naturally occurring and modified peptides,have received great attention in these years and emerge as novel therapeutic and diagnostic candidates for cancer therapies,because of several advantages over the current treatment modalities.In this review,the classification and properties of ACPs,the mode of action and mechanism of membrane disruption,as well as the natural sources of bioactive peptides with anticancer activities were summarised.Because of their high efficacy for inducing cancer cell death,certain ACPs have been developed to work as drugs and vaccines,evaluated in varied phases of clinical trials.We expect that this summary could facilitate the understanding and design of ACPs with increased specificity and toxicity towards malignant cells and with reduced side effects to normal cells.Yehao Zhang Cong Wang Wenhui Zhang Xinming Li 2023Biomaterials Translational2023,4,1:0
14The Treatment of Chinese Herbal Prescription in a 43 Year-old Woman with Sjogren Syndrome: A Case Report显示文摘Background:Sjögren syndrome(SS)is a long-term autoimmune disease that affects the body’s moisture-producing glands.It can occur independently of other health problems(primary disease)or as a result of another connective tissue disorder(secondary disease).Medication is directed at the person’s symptoms.Recently,it is reported that prescription of Chinese medicine has a great effect on SS and reduce adverse drugs reaction,which can provide a more safer treatment to SS.Case presentation:We here report a 43 year-old Chinese patient with continuous immune thrombocytopenia diagnosed as Sjögren syndrome,who was not response to routine medication such as Methylprednisolone and acyclovir.After that,the patient was treated by prescription of Chinese medicine,and the symptoms were improved apparently.We suppose that prescription of Chinese medicine has an unexpected effect on SS,which can alleviate patient’s symptoms.Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Sjogren syndrome(SS)is effective in the treatment of prescription of Chinese medicine.It can improve patient’s symptoms and reduce adverse drug reactions.Yehao Luo Geer Chen Donghan Xu Zhihui Li Yuzhou Pang Gang Fang 2020Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2020,4,5:0
15Effectiveness of Post-Traumatic Growth Intervention to Promote Positive Post-Traumatic Traits in Chinese Breast Cancer Patients:A Randomized Controlled Trial显示文摘Objective:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of post-traumatic growth(PTG)model-based intervention to improve positive psychological traits in Chinese breast cancer patients.Design:A randomized control trial of a psychological group intervention based on PTG model.Methods:The Clinical Trial was registered on 17 August 2019 at Chinese Clinical Trials.gov with Registration number ChiCTR1900025264.A total of 92 patients with breast cancer were recruited.The participants were randomly assigned to the experimental group(n=46)and the control group(n=46).A six-session psychological group intervention based on PTG model was implemented in the experimental group,and a six-session health education was implemented in the control group.The outcomes weremeasured at baseline(pre-intervention),3 weeks,6 weeks after the intervention.The primary outcome was posttraumatic growth assessed by the Chinese version of the Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory(PTGI);Secondary outcomes included psychological resilience,family resilience,rumination,and self-disclosure.Results:A total of 87 patients with breast cancer completed this study,including 44 patients in the experimental group and 43 patients in the control group.There was no significant difference in baseline data of breast cancer patients between the two groups except for the treatment regimen(p>0.05).The two groups were compared after the intervention;the interaction effects between the total scores of posttraumatic growth,family resilience,and self-disclosure and the time term were statistically significant(p<0.05),indicating that the trend of change in total scores of post-traumatic growth,family resilience,and self-disclosure differed between the experimental and control groups over time,and the scores improved in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group.The comparison of psychological resilience and total score of rumination at each time point was statistically significant(p<0.05),indicating that group intervention based on the PTG model could improve the psychological recovery ability and rumination level of the experimental group.Conclusion:The psychological group intervention based on the PTG model significantly improved post-traumatic growth,family resilience,and self-disclosure in patients with breast cancer.However,the impact on psychological resilience and rumination was relatively small.Long-term intervention is needed to further test the effect of the PTG model on psychological resilience and rumination.Cuirong Xu Han Yan Dawei Xu Guanjie Chen Qian Xu Kunpeng Li Yehao Rui Zanmin Song Neeraj Gill Jing Sun 2023International Journal of Mental Health Promotion2023,25,10:0
