| 1 | Potential and policy issues for sustainable development of wind power in China显示文摘This paper presents a macroscopic view on the prevailing policy and potential issues in respect of the sustainable wind power development in China.It starts by analyzing the characteristics of wind power resources and pin-pointing the relationship between the regulatory policies and various economic,taxation,legal and grid integration attributes relating to the wind power development.Then it follows by analyzing the status quo and capabilities of the wind power manufacturing industry in China including its operational efficiency and grid integration standards.The economic and environmental benefits are estimated by relating to the associated costing analysis in respect of the major contributing factors such as manufacturing,operational and financial factors.Results of the associated benefits analysis indicate that the use of the wind power generation helps to save a significant equivalent amount of standard coal consumption resulting to reduction of emission effectively.Finally,the potential of wind power development in China is shown to be affirmative and the sustainable energy policy is effectively implemented in China. | Zhongfu TAN H.W.NGAN Yang WU Huijuan ZHANG Yihang SONG Chao YU | 2013 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2013,1,3: | 7 |
| 2 | Nicotinamide mononucleotide supplementation improves the quality of porcine oocytes under heat stress显示文摘Background:Elevated ambient temperature-caused heat stress is a major concern for livestock production due to its negative impact on animal feed intake,growth,reproduction,and health.Particularly,the germ cells are extremely sensitive to the heat stress.However,the effective approach and strategy regarding how to protect mammalian oocytes from heat stress-induced defects have not been determined.Methods:Germinal vesicle(GV)porcine oocytes were cultured at 41.5℃ for 24 h to induce heat stress,and then cultured at 38.5℃ to the specific developmental stage for subsequent analysis.Nicotinamide mononucleotide(NMN)was dissolved in water to 1 mol/L for a stock solution and further diluted with the maturation medium to the final concentrations of 10μmol/L,20μmol/L,50μmol/L or 100μmol/L,respectively,during heat stress.Immunostaining and fluorescence intensity quantification were applied to assess the effects of heat stress and NMN supplementation on the key processes during the oocyte meiotic maturation.Results:Here,we report that NMN supplementation improves the quality of porcine oocytes under heat stress.Specifically,we found that heat stress resulted in oocyte maturation failure by disturbing the dynamics of meiotic organelles,including the cytoskeleton assembly,cortical granule distribution and mitochondrial function.In addition,heat stress induced the production of excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)and DNA damage,leading to the occurrence of apoptosis in oocytes and subsequent embryonic development arrest.More importantly,we validated that supplementation of NMN during heat stress restored the meiotic defects during porcine oocyte maturation.Conclusions:Taken together,our study documents that NMN supplementation is an effective approach to improve the quality of oocytes under heat stress by promoting both nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation. | Meijie Song Yu Li Yihang Zhou Jiner Yan Xiaohua Zhou Qian Gao Yilong Miao Bo Xiong | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5: | 2 |
| 3 | Retinoic acid can improve autophagy through depression of the PI3K-Akt-mTOR signaling pathway via RARαto restore spermatogenesis in cryptorchid infertile rats显示文摘Cryptorchidism-caused adult infertility is a common component of idiopathic reasons for male infertility.Retinoic acid(RA)has a vital effect on the spermatogenesis process.Here,we found that the expression of c-Kit,Stra8,and Sycp3 could be up-regulated via the activation of retinoic acid receptorα(RARα)after RA supplementation in neonatal cryptorchid infertile rats.We also demonstrated that the protein expression of PI3K,p-Akt/pan-Akt,and p-mTOR/mTOR was higher in cryptorchid than in normal testes,and could be suppressed with RA in vivo.After RA treatment in infertile cryptorchid testis in vivo,the levels of the autophagy proteins LC3 and Beclin1 increased and those of P62 decreased.Biotin tracer indicated that the permeability of blood-testis barrier(BTB)in cryptorchid rats decreased after RA administration.Additionally,after blocking the RARαwith AR7(an RARαantagonist)in testicle culture in vitro,we observed that compared with normal testes,the PI3K-Akt-mTOR signaling pathway and the autophagy pathway was increased and decreased,respectively,which were coincident with cryptorchisd testes in vivo.Additionally,the appropriate concentrations of RA treatment could depress the PI3K-Akt-mTOR signaling pathway and improve the autophagy pathway.The results confirmed that RA can rehabilitate BTB function and drive key protein levels in spermatogonial differentiation through depressing the PI3K-Akt-mTOR signaling pathway via RARα. | Chunlan Long Yu Zhou Lianju Shen Yihang Yu Dong Hu Xing Liu Tao Lin Dawei He Tao Xu Deying Zhang Jing Zhu Guanghui Wei | 2022 | Genes & Diseases2022,9,5: | 2 |

| 15 | Bioinformatic identification of key genes and molecular pathways in the spermatogenic process of cryptorchidism显示文摘This study aims to determine key genes and pathways that could play important roles in the spermatogenic process of patients with cryptorchidism.The gene expression profile data of GSE25518 was obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database.Microarray data were analyzed using BRB-Array Tools to identify differentially expressed genes(DEGs)between high azoospermia risk(HAZR)patients and controls.In addition,other analytical methods were deployed,including hierarchical clustering analysis,class comparison between patients with HAZR and the normal control group,gene ontology(GO),Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis,and the construction of a proteineprotein interaction(PPI)network.In total,1015 upregulated genes and 1650 downregulated genes were identified.GO and KEGG analysis revealed enrichment in terms of changes in the endoplasmic reticulum cellular component and the endoplasmic reticulum protein synthetic process in the HAZR group.Furthermore,the arachidonic acid pathway and mTOR pathway were also identified as important pathways,while RICTOR and GPX8 were indentified as key genes involved in the spermatogenic process of patients with cryptorchidism.In present study,we found that changes in the synthesis of endoplasmic reticulum proteins,arachidonic acid and the mTOR pathway are important in the incidence and spermatogenic process of cryptorchidism.GPX8 and RICTOR were also identified as key genes associated with cryptorchidism.Collectively,these data may provide novel clues with which to explore the precise etiology and mechanism underlying cryptorchidism and cryptorchidism-induced human infertility. | Yu Zhou Deying Zhang Bo Liu Dong Hu Lianju Shen Chunlan Long Yihang Yu Tao Lin Xing Liu Dawei He Guanghui Wei | 2019 | Genes & Diseases2019,6,4: | 1 |

| 18 | High-performance all-solution-processed inverted quantum dot light-emitting diodes enabled by water treatment显示文摘All-solution-processed inverted quantum dot(QD)light-emitting diodes(QLEDs)with transparent bottom cathodes can be directly connected to the n-type thin-film transistors,offering a feasible solution for low-cost active matrix-driven QD displays.However,the subsequent solution-deposition of the hole-transporting layer destroys the underneath QD films,resulting in largely deteriorated device performance.Various strategies have been implemented to prevent QD film from dissolution,but all at a heavy cost of device performance suffering from either reduced efficiency or increased driving voltage.Here,a facile and effective water-treatment approach for QD film to fabricate inverted QLEDs through all solution processing is reported.The water treatment substitutes the long-chain oleate ligands with hydroxyl groups,resulting in significantly improved non-polar solvent resistance of the QD films.Importantly,the QD films reserve their excellent photoluminescence efficiency after water treatment.With the water-treated QD film as the emissive layer,all-solution-processed inverted red QLED with a peak external quantum efficiency of 19.6%,a turn-on voltage of 1.8 V,and a T50 operational lifetime of 150,000 h at 100 cd·m^(-2) was achieved.Furthermore,efficient and low-voltage-driven green and blue QLEDs can also be prepared with this method.This work provides a feasible strategy for the fabrication of high-performance all-solution-processed inverted QLEDs,paving the way toward achieving QLEDs by all ink-jet printing. | Qianqing Hu Junjie Si Desui Chen Xiaoming Hao Rui Xu Yihang Du Zhuopeng Du Xinquan Gong Hong Zhao Peiqing Cai Qi Ai Xin Yao Yu Yan Zenan Zhang Muzhi Cai Wei Liu Yongyin Kang Zugang Liu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 0 |
| 19 | Outcomes of Self-Expanding Transcatheter Pulmonary Valves:Extended Follow-Up of a Prospective Trial显示文摘Background:The Venus-P valve was the first self-expanding valve used world-wide for transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement(TPVR)in patients with severe pulmonary regurgitation(PR).We intended to report the extended follow-up results from the prospective trial(No.NCT02590679).Methods:A total of 38 patients with severe PR(mean age 24.2±13.2)were included.Follow-up data were obtained after implanted at 1,6,and 12 months and yearly after.The frame geometry was assessed on post-implant computer tomography(CT)scanning by calculating the non-circularity[circularity ratio(minimum diameter/maximum diameter)<0.9]and under-expansion[expansion ratio(derived external valve area/nominal external valve area)<0.9).Adverse events(all-cause mortality,reintervention,valve dysfunction,stent fracture and endocarditis)were recorded.Results:All valves were implanted successfully with normal function at discharge.Geometric CT analysis showed underexpanded valve was detected in 22 patients(63%)and non-circular valve was seen in 16 patients(46%).During a median follow-up of 4.8 years(range 0.3-8.1),there were 1 death and 1 surgical explant,both resulting from endocarditis.Five-year freedom from valve dysfunction and stent fracture were 84.8%(95%CI 74.8-94.7)and 83.5%(95%CI 73.8-93.2).Endocarditis occurred in 3 patients at a median time of 7 months.Stent fracture was more common in patients with non-circularity stents.Conclusion:TPVR using Venus-P valve is associated with favorable outcomes at 5 years.Non-circular shapes in the valve level may have a higher risk of stent fracture. | Jingnan Zhang Junyi Wan Yihang Li Yu Han Jiahua Pan Fang Fang Shiliang Jiang Xiangbin Pan Gejun Zhang | 2023 | Congenital Heart Disease2023,18,2: | 0 |
