| 1 | Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure,which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis.Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems.Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety,depression,insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety,insomnia and overall psychological problems.In addition,attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic,receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work,and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems.Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems.The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback. | Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu | 2020 | General Psychiatry2020，33，3： | 8 |
| 2 | Multi-channel multiplexing quantum teleportation based on the entangled sideband modes显示文摘Quantum teleportation is a key primitive across a number of quantum information tasks and represents a fundamental ingredient for many quantum technologies. Channel capacity, other than the fidelity, becomes another focus of quantum communication. Here, we present a 5-channel multiplexing continuous-variable quantum teleportation protocol in the optical frequency comb system, exploiting five-order entangled sideband modes.Because of the resonant electro-optical modulation(EOM) that is specifically designed, the fidelities of five channels are greater than 0.78, which are superior to the no-cloning limit of 2∕3. | 15 | GmSAP5,a soybean A20/AN1 domain-containing stress-associated protein gene activated by GmAREB3,increases drought stress resistance in soybean by mediating ABA signaling显示文摘Drought stress impairs crop growth and productivity.Stress-associated proteins(SAPs),a class of zinc finger proteins containing the A20/AN1 domain,function in various stress responses in plants.However,little is known about the function of SAPs in drought-stress responses in soybean,an oil and protein crop.We report that a GmSAP5 protein confers drought tolerance by increasing sensitivity to abscisic acid(ABA)and reducing stomatal aperture.Overexpression and RNA interference of GmSAP5in soybean hairy roots resulted in elevated resistance and sensitivity to drought stress,respectively.ABA and proline contents increased in GmSAP5-overexpressing plants under water-deficit conditions.Lower water loss rates and higher relative water contents were observed in GmSAP5-overexpressing plants,resulting in increased drought-stress resistance.A yeast one-hybrid assay and luciferase transient transcriptional activity assay showed that GmAREB3,an AREB/ABF transcription factor,could bind to the promoter of GmSAP5 and activate its expression.These results suggest that GmSAP5 acts downstream of GmAREB3 and improves drought-stress resistance by mediating ABA signaling. | Zehao Hou Xiangzhan Zhang Yimiao Tang Taifei Yu Lei Zheng Jun Chen Yongbin Zhou Yongwei Liu Ming Chen Zhao-Shi Xu Youzhi Ma | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022，10，6： | 0 |
| 16 | Guilingji capsule(龟龄集胶囊)for Alzheimer's disease:secondary analysis of a randomized non-inferiority controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effectiveness and safety of Guilingji capsule(龟龄集胶囊,GLJC)in treatment of Alzheimer's disease(AD)patients with kidney-marrow deficiency pattern(KMDP)compared with gingko extract tablets.METHODS:This is a secondary analysis of a large-scale multicenter randomized non-inferiority clinical trial.A total of 120 AD patients with KMDP were enrolled in this study.The participants were randomly categorized into two groups:(a)GLJC group(n=60)and(b)gingko group(n=60).The GLJC group was treated with GLJC and gingko extract mimetic tablets,whereas the gingko group received gingko extract tablets and mimetic GLJC.The data on the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive Subscale(ADAS-Cog),Activities of Daily Living(ADL),and Chinese Medicine Symptom Scale(CM-SS)was evaluated at 0,12,and 24 weeks of treatment.The serum levels of acetylcholine(Ach),acetylcholinesterase(AchE),B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),and Bcl-2-associated X protein(Bax)in the participants were measured before and after 24 weeks of treatment.The safety was based on the incidence of adverse events.RESULTS:Both interventions significantly increased the MMSE scores of the participants and decreased their ADAS-Cog,ADL,and CM-SS scores(P<0.01).Compared with the gingko group,the GLJC group had a higher effective rate of improvement in the symptoms of“amnesia”and“dull expression and slow thinking”at the 12th week and 24th week(P<0.05,P<0.01).In the GLJC group,serum Bcl-2 levels were significantly increased at the 24th week(P<0.05).Serum Bax and AchE levels of the two groups were significantly decreased at the 24th week(P<0.01).No treatmentrelated adverse events were reported in the two groups.CONCLUSIONS:GLJC is equivalent to the gingko extract tablets in terms of improving cognitive function and the quality of life in AD patients with KMDP and has good clinical efficacy and safety.When it comes to improving TCM symptoms and anti-aging,GLJC is even more advantageous. | ZHAO Ming LUO Yimiao WANG Huichan CAO Yu MA Lina PEI Hui LI Hao | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023，43，5： | 0 |
