| 1 | Intensity modulated radiation therapy and chemotherapy for Ioca advanced pancreatic cancer:Results of feasibility study显示文摘AIM: To explore whether intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) in combination with chemotherapy could increase radiation dose to gross tumor volume without severe acute radiation related toxicity by decreasing the dose to the surrounding normal tissue in patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer.METHODS: Twenty-one patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer were evaluated in this clinical trial,Patients would receive the dose of IMRT from 21Gy to 30Gy in 7 to 10 fractions within two weeks after conventional radiotherapy of 30Gy in 15 fractions over 3 weeks. The total escalation tumor dose would be 51, 54,57, 60Gy, respectively. 5-fluororacil (5-FU) or gemcitabine was given concurrently with radiotherapy during the treatment course.RESULTS: Sixteen patients who had completed the radiotherapy plan with doses of 51Gy (3 cases), 54Gy (3 cases), 57Gy (3 cases) and 60Gy (7 cases) were included for evaluation. The median levels of CA19-9 prior to and after radiotherapy were 716 U/ml and 255 U/ml respectively (P<0.001) in 13 patients who demonstrated high levels of CA19-9 before radiotherapy. Fourteen patients who suffered from pain could reduce at least 1/3-1/2 amount of analgesic intake and 5 among these patients got complete relief of pain. Ten patients improved in Kamofsky performance status (KPS). The median follow-up period was 8 months and one-year survival rate was 35 %. | 3 | Proteomics-based analysis of functional proteins from fermented of compound wheat embryo Chinese medicine显示文摘Compound probiotics were used to ferment compound wheat embryo Chinesemedicine(CWECM)at 37°C for a given period,and the fermentation end pointwas determined based on pHvalue.The full spectrumof the proteinswithin the fermentation supernatant was determined by ion mass spectrometry,and then the fermentation was analyzed by proteomics.The difference of functional protein ofCWECMwas analyzed before and after fermentation.Additionally,the changes in flavor of peptides were examined.Our results indicated that when the fermentationwas performed for 96 h,the pH value became stable over time,which it shifted froman initial 3.98±0.04 to a stable 2.78±0.04.Proteomicbased analysis of the fermentation supernatant indicated that the fermentation of the probiotics increased.The amount of functional proteome and protein within the supernatant increased from 60 proteomes and 136 proteins before fermentation to 70 proteomes and 149 proteins post fermentation.These proteins were primarily members of the Ubiquitin and Histone families.These families contain more specific peptides after fermentation,and the coverage was reduced.Analysis of the unique P0C512 protein after fermentation indicated that this protein is an unstable,3Deffect columnar protein.We also found that probiotic fermentation can reduce the proportion of bitter peptideswithin fermentation broth from 47.49%to 36.98%,and the proportion of sweet peptides increased after fermentation from 35.29%to 51.01%.Based on testing,we concluded that fermentation of CWECM by compound probiotics can reduce the pH of the CWECM solution,increase the number of functional proteomes and proteins,improve the taste of CWECM solutions,and improve the therapeutic efficacy of CWECM. | Jihong Huang Xing Lyu Aimei Liao Yi Zhao Yinchen Hou Wenjing Chen Canrui Yang | 2019 | Grain & Oil Science and Technology2019,2,3: | 2 |

| 10 | Pectin-chitosan complex: Preparation and application in colon-specific capsule显示文摘Pectin-chitosan complex was prepared as a candidate material for colon-specific capsule.First,the effects of beating on the properties of complex films were explored.Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy was used to analyze the reaction mechanics,and an in vitro simulation experiment was performed to determine the degradation performance.Second,the capsule was prepared using pectin-chitosan complex as the main raw material;its targeting effect was evaluated and analyzed.Results indicated that the film became smooth and compact by beating.FT-IR data indicated that cross-linking occurred between the hydroxyl group of pectin and the amino group of chitosan to form a network structure.In vitro experiment showed that the pectin-chitosan complex film could not be degraded in the simulated gastric and intestinal fluids.However,pectin-chitosan complex could be degraded in the simulated colonic fluid,so it could be a potential candidate for colon-specific capsule.Because the complex has no ability for forming hard capsule,the carrageenan and starch were added to increase the flexibility,gelation,transparency and mechanical properties of the film.The preferred composition suitable for preparing the capsule was a mass ratio(2:1:1)of pectin-chitosan/carrageenan/starch mixture.The capsule showed excellent features in terms of shape,water content,and brittleness.The drug release rate reached 93.33%in colonic fluid for 1 h when bovine serum albumin was the model drug.Therefore,pectin-chitosan may be considered as a new material for colon-targeted capsule. | Wu Li Wang Hao Zhu Xiaohua Hou Yinchen Liu Wangwang Yang Gongming Jiang Aimin | 2015 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,4: | 0 |

| 12 | Demand-aware mobile bike-sharing service using collaborative computing and information fusion in 5G IoT environment显示文摘Mobile bike-sharing services have been prevalently used in many cities as an important urban commuting service and a promising way to build smart cities,especially in the new era of 5G and Internet-of-Things(IoT)environments.A mobile bike-sharing service makes commuting convenient for people and imparts new vitality to urban transportation systems.In the real world,the problems of no docks or no bikes at bike-sharing stations often arise because of several inevitable reasons such as the uncertainty of bike usage.In addition to pure manual rebalancing,in several works,attempts were made to predict the demand for bikes.In this paper,we devised a bike-sharing service with highly accurate demand prediction using collaborative computing and information fusion.We combined the information of bike demands at different time periods and the locations between stations and proposed a dynamical clustering algorithm for station clustering.We carefully analyzed and discovered the group of features that impact the demand of bikes,from historical bike-sharing records and 5G IoT environment data.We combined the discovered information and proposed an XGBoost-based regression model to predict the rental and return demand.We performed sufficient experiments on two real-world datasets.The results confirm that compared to some existing methods,our method produces superior prediction results and performance and improves the availability of bike-sharing service in 5G IoT environments. | Xiaoxian Yang Yueshen Xu Yishan Zhou Shengli Song Yinchen Wu | 2022 | Digital Communications and Networks2022,8,6: | 0 |
