1AXL is a candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 that promotes infection of pulmonary and bronchial epithelial cells显示文摘The current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic presents a global public health challenge.The viral pathogen responsible,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),binds to the host receptor ACE2 through its spike(S)glycoprotein,which mediates membrane fusion and viral entry.Although the role of ACE2 as a receptor for SARS-CoV-2 is clear,studies have shown that ACE2 expression is extremely low in various human tissues,especially in the respiratory tract.Thus,other host receptors and/or co-receptors that promote the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into cells of the respiratory system may exist.In this study,we found that the tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO(AXL)specifically interacts with the N-terminal domain of SARS-CoV-2 S.Using both a SARS-CoV-2 virus pseudotype and authentic SARS-CoV-2,we found that overexpression of AXL in HEK293T cells promotes SARS-CoV-2 entry as efficiently as overexpression of ACE2,while knocking out AXL significantly reduces SARS-CoV-2 infection in HI 299 pulmonary cells and in human primary lung epithelial cells.Soluble human recombinant AXL blocks SARS-CoV-2 infection in cells expressing high levels of AXL.The AXL expression level is well correlated with SARS-CoV-2 S level in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid cells from COVID-19 patients.Taken together,our findings suggest that AXL is a novel candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 which may play an important role in promoting viral infection of the human respiratory system and indicate that it is a potential target for future clinical intervention strategies.Shuai Wang Zongyang Qiu Yingnan Hou Xiya Deng Wei Xu Tingting Zheng Peihan Wu Shaofang Xie Weixiang Bian Chong Zhang Zewei Sun Kunpeng Liu Chao Shan Aifu Lin Shibo Jiang Youhua Xie Qiang Zhou Lu Lu Jing Huang Xu Li 2021Cell Research2021,31,2:39
2Development of land use transitions research in China显示文摘With the introduction of the concept of land use transition into China,related researches have been carried out extensively in the past two decades,which enrich the knowledge of land system science.This paper describes the development of research on land use transitions in China from the perspectives of conceptual connotations,theoretical model,research methods,and research progress and prospects.With the in-depth investigation of land use transitions,the concept and connotations of land use morphology are developed and encapsulated as two kinds,i.e.,dominant morphology and recessive morphology.The dominant morphology refers to the land use structure of a certain region over a certain period of time,with features such as the quantity and spatial pattern of land use types.While the recessive morphology includes the land use features in the aspects of quality,property rights,management mode,input,output and function.Accordingly,the concept of land use transition is further developed,and the theoretical model of regional land use transitions is established.Thereafter,three innovative integrated approaches to study land use transitions are put forward,i.e.,multidisciplinary research framework for recessive land use transition,transect and horizontal comparison.To date,there have been 62 Ph.D.and 166 M.S.dissertations on the topic of'land use transition'in China.During 2002–2019,the National Natural Science Foundation of China has funded 48 research programs on the theme of'land use transition'.As such,the Chinese scholars have adapted the concept derived from western literature to the situations and experiences in China.LONG Hualou QU Yi TU Shuangshuang ZHANG Yingnan JIANG Yanfeng 2020Journal of Geographical Sciences2020,30,7:15
3PREPARATIOPREPARATION OF 1-OCTENE BY ETHYLENE TETRAMERIZATION WITH HIGH SELECTIVITY显示文摘Two novel PNP ligands have been synthesized and characterized by 1H-NMR, elemen- tal analysis, and mass spectra. In combination with Cr(Ⅲ ) and cocatalyst MAO, they generate active catalytic systems that tetramerize ethylene with both high catalytic activity and high selectivity to produce 1-octene. 4Ethylene tetramerization with a highly active and long-lifetime trinuclear diphenylphosphinoamine/Cr(III)/MAO catalyst显示文摘The synthesis and characterization of a novel trinuclear diphosphinoamine ligand 2 are reported. The ligand combined with Cr(III), activated with methylaluminoxane, lead to highly active and long-lifetime catalytic systems for the tetramerization of ethylene to form 1-octene. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction pressure, molar ratio of Al/Cr and bis(diphenylphosphino)amine/Cr on the catalytic activity and product selectivity were studied. Compared with its mononuclear analogue 1, ligand 2 showed a higher catalytic activity and longer lifetime for ethylene tetramerization in the presence of methylaluminoxane as cocatalyst. 5Synthesis of a novel triple-site diphosphinoamine (PNP) ligand and its applications in ethylene tetramerization显示文摘A novel triple-site diphosphinoamine (PNP) ligand was synthesized and characterized. In combination with Cr(III) and methylaluminoxane (MAO), it generated active catalytic systems for ethylene tetramerization toward 1-octene with high catalytic activity and long lifetime. The effects of reaction temperature, molar ratio of Al/Cr and molar ratio of ligand/Cr on catalytic activity and selectivity to 1-octene were studied with reaction kinetics of the catalytic system for ethylene tetramerization described. 8Fluorescent probe gold nanodots to quick detect Cr(VI) via oxidoreduction quenching process显示文摘A method is described here for the quickly(<30 s) accurate determination of Cr(VI)(Cr_2O_7^(2-)), based on fluorescent probes gold nanodots(AuNDs, excitation/emission peaks at 395/604 nm) coated with glutathione(GSH). The fluorescence of the AuNDs responses linearly to Cr(VI) concentrations, ranging widely from 1 nM to 10 m M with detection limit as low as 0.35 nM. At the same time, the AuNDs is demonstrated highly selective for Cr(VI) detection over other acid group ions and metal ions without any masking reagent. These make probability for practical use. The quenching mechanism is investigated deeply via fluorescent lifetime, XPS and TEM analysis. Different from most reported quenching explanation of aggregation derived from charge attraction, these results verify the redox reaction between Cr_2O_7^(2-)and sulfhydryl(–S) of GSH. The Au(I)–S bonds of AuNDs broke, accompanies with the oxidation of –S to form S–S bonds. As a result, AuNDs cross linked to each other. In the end, the fluorescence quenched. 12CdS magic-size clusters exhibiting one sharp ultraviolet absorption singlet peaking at 361 nm显示文摘We report,for the first time,the synthesis of CdS magic-size clusters (MSCs) which exhibit a single sharp absorption peaking at ~ 361 nm,along with sharp band edge photoemission at ~ 377 nm and broad trap emission peaking at ~ 490 nm.These MSCs are produced in a singleensemble form without the contamination of conventional quantum dots (QDs) and/or other-bandgap clusters.They are denoted as MSC-361.We present the details of several controlled syntheses done in oleylamine (OLA),using C,d(NO3)2 or C,d(OAc)2 as a C,d source and thioacetamide (TAA) or elementary sulfur (S) as a S source.A high synthetic reproducibility of the reaction of Cd(NO3)2 and TAA to single-ensemble MSC-361 is achieved,the product of which is not contaminated by other bandgap clusters and/or QDs.In some cases,the reaction product exhibits an additional absorption peak at ~ 322 nm.We demonstrate that the two peaks,at 361 and 322 nm,do not evolve synchronously.Therefore,the 322 nm peak is not a higher order electronic transition of MSC-361,but due to the presence of another ensemble,namely MSC-322.The present study suggests that there is an outstanding need for the development of a physical model to narrow the knowledge gap regarding the electronic structure in these colloidal semiconductor CdS MSCs.Junbin Tang Juan Hui Meng Zhang Hongsong Fan Nelson Rowell Wen Huang Yingnan Jiang Xiaoqin Chen Kui Yu 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:1
