1In vivo evaluation of urokinase-loaded hollow nanogels for sonothrombolysis on suture embolization-induced acute ischemic stroke rat model显示文摘The urokinase-type plasminogen activator(uPA)loaded hollow nanogels(nUK)were synthesized by a one-step reaction of glycol chitosan and aldehyde capped poly(ethylene oxide).The resultant formulation is sensitive to diagnostic ultrasound(US)of 2 MHz.Herein,we evaluated the in vivo sonothrombolysis performance of the nUK on acute ischemic stroke rat model which was established by suture embolization of middle cerebral artery(MCA).Via intravenous(i.v.)administration,the experimental data prove a controlled release of the therapeutic protein around the clots under ultrasound stimulation,leading to enhanced thrombolysis efficiency of the nUK,evidenced from smaller infarct volume and better clinical scores when compared to the i.v.dose of free uPA no matter with or without US intervention.Meanwhile,the preservation ability of the nanogels not only prolonged the circulation duration of the protein,but also resulted in the better blood-brain barrier protection of the nUK formulation,showing no increased risk on the hemorrhagic transformation than the controls.This work suggests that the nUK is a safe sonothrombolytic formulation for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.Yuming Teng Haiqiang Jin Ding Nan Mengnan Li Chenghe Fan Yuanyuan Liu Pu Lv Wei Cui Yongan Sun Hongjun Hao Xiaozhong Qu Zhenzhong Yang Yining Huang 2018Bioactive Materials2018,3,1:7

3Smart Service System(SSS):A Novel Architecture Enabling Coordination of Heterogeneous Networking Technologies and Devices for Internet of Things显示文摘In Internet of Things(IoT), the devices or terminals are connected with each other, which can be very diverse over the wireless networks. Unfortunately, the current devices are not designed to communicate with the collocated devices which employ different communication technologies. Consequently, the communication between these devices will be realized only by using the gateway nodes. This will cause the inefficient use of wireless resources. Therefore, in this paper, a smart service system(SSS) architecture is proposed, which consists of smart service terminal(SST), and smart service network(SSN), to realize the Io T in a general environment with diverse communication networks, devices, and services. The proposed architecture has the following advantages: i) the devices in this architecture cover multiple types of terminals and sensor-actuator devices; ii) the communications network therein is a converged network, and will coordinate multiple kinds of existing and emerging networks. This converged network offers ubiquitous access for various sensors and terminals; iii) the architecture has services and applications covering all smart service areas. It also provides theadaptability to new services and applications. A SSS architecture-based smart campus system was developed and deployed. 4Conformable,programmable and step-linear sensor array for large-range wind pressure measurement on curved surface显示文摘The wind pressure measurement,especially on curved surfaces is imperative in revealing flow characteristics.The flexible sensor with high linear sensitivity over large pressure range is still a significant challenge,especially for commutatively positive and negative pressure measurement.Here,we propose a conformable,range-programmable capacitive sensor that can extremely extend the measuring range but with high linear sensitivity.The key point is to precisely control the reference pressure of the flexible capacitive sensor array through microchannel network.The proposed sensor with reference pressure 0 kPa keeps stable at a highly-linear sensitivity of 0.28 kPa-1 in an initial measurement regime from 0 to 3 kPa,beyond which the linearity changes significantly.Via the tunable reference pressure,the linear ranges can be customized arbitrarily according to different flight conditions and measured positions,but without any deterioration of sensitivity.The theoretical model is built for the flexible capacitive sensor with tunable reference pressure,agreeing well with the experimental and finite element method results.Additionally,the bending effect is discovered when the flexible sensor is conformed on curved surfaces.This surface-mounted sensor skin is tested on a plate and is integrated with acquisition circuits on a standard airfoil NACA0012 in a wind tunnel and compares with the standard destructive method of pressure taps.It shows great potential applications in measuring wind pressure on curved surfaces,such as for'Fly-by-Feel'of unmanned aerial vehicles and wind tunnel test.XIONG WenNan GUO DongLiang YANG ZhaoXi ZHU Chen HUANG YongAn 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,10:5
5The relationship between dietary methionine and growth,digestion,absorption,and antioxidant status in intestinal and hepatopancreatic tissues of sub-adult grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella)显示文摘Background: Methionine is an essential amino acid for fish. The present study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary methionine on growth performance, digestive and absorptive ability, as well as antioxidant capacity in the intestine and hepatopancreas of sub-adult grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella).Results: Dietary methionine deficiency significantly decreased percentage weight gain(PWG), feed intake, feed efficiency and protein efficiency ratio, as well as activities of hepatopancreatic glutamate-oxaloacetate transaminase and muscle glutamate-pyruvate transaminase in sub-adult grass carp(P < 0.05). Furthermore, methionine deficiency significantly reduced activities of trypsin, lipase and amylase in the intestine, Na^+/K^+-ATPase, alkaline phosphatase and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase in three intestinal segments, and creatine kinase(CK) in the proximal intestine(P < 0.05). However, an unexplained and significant increase in CK activity in the mid intestine was associated with dietary methionine deficiency. Malondialdehyde and protein carbonyl contents in the intestine and hepatopancreas were significantly increased by methionine deficiency(P < 0.05), whereas anti-hydroxyl radical capacity in the hepatopancreas and intestine, and anti-superoxide anion capacity in the intestine, were significantly decreased by methionine deficiency(P < 0.05). Moreover, methionine deficiency significantly decreased superoxide dismutase and glutathione reductase activities, glutathione contents in the hepatopancreas and intestine, as well as glutathione peroxidase activity in the intestine(P < 0.05), whereas it significantly increased activities of catalase in the hepatopancreas and glutathione-S-transferase in the hepatopancreas and intestine(P < 0.05).(Continued on next page)(Continued from previous page)Conclusions: The present results demonstrated that dietary methionine deficiency induced poor growth, and decreased digestive and absorptive function and antioxidant capacity in the hepatopancreas and intestine of sub-adult grass carp. 7An Exact Virtual Network Embedding Algorithm Based on Integer Linear Programming for Virtual Network Request with Location Constraint显示文摘Network virtualization is known as a promising technology to tackle the ossification of current Internet and will play an important role in the future network area. Virtual network embedding(VNE) is a key issue in network virtualization. VNE is NP-hard and former VNE algorithms are mostly heuristic in the literature.VNE exact algorithms have been developed in recent years. However, the constraints of exact VNE are only node capacity and link bandwidth.Based on these, this paper presents an exact VNE algorithm, ILP-LC, which is based on Integer Linear Programming(ILP), for embedding virtual network request with location constraints. This novel algorithm is aiming at mapping virtual network request(VNR) successfully as many as possible and consuming less substrate resources.The topology of each VNR is randomly generated by Waxman model. 8Growth,digestive and absorptive capacity and antioxidant status in intestine and hepatopancreas of sub-adult grass carp Ctenopharyngodonidella fed graded levels of dietary threonine显示文摘Background:This study was carried out to investigate effects of threonine levels on growth,digestive and absorptive capacity and antioxidant status in intestine and hepatopancreas of sub-adult grass carp(Ctenopharyngodonidella).Results:Weight gain,specific growth rate,feed intake and feed efficiency were significantly improved by dietary threonine(P<0.05).Intestinal activities of trypsin,chymotrypsin,alpha-amylase,lipase,alkaline phosphatase,y-glutamyl transpeptidase and creatine kinase took the similar trends.Contents of malondialdehyde and protein carbonyl in intestine and hepatopancreas were significantly decreased by dietary optimal threonine supplementation(P<0.05).Anti-superoxide anion capacity,anti-hydroxyl radical capacity,glutathione content and activities of superoxide dismutase,catalase and glutathione-S-transferase in intestine and hepatopancreas were enhanced by dietary threonine(P< 0.05).Conclusions:Dietary threonine could improve growth,enhance digestive and absorptive capacity and antioxidant status in intestine and hepatopancreas of sub-adult grass carp.The dietary threonine requirement of sub-adult grass carp(441.9-1,013.4 g) based on weight gain was 11.6 g/kg diet or 41.5 g/kg of dietary protein by quadratic regression analysis.Yang Hong Weidan Jiang Shengyao Kuang Kai Hu Ling Tang Yang Liu Jun Jiang Yongan Zhang Xiaoqiu Zhou Lin Feng 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4:3
9Moderate sewage sludge biochar application on alkaline soil for corn growth:a field study显示文摘In view of the risks induced by the inhibitory effects of applying impracticably large amounts of sewage sludge biochar(SSB)to the alkaline soil,this field study investigated the influence of moderate biochar amendments(0,1500,4500,and 9000 kg/hm2)on corn growth,alkaline soil properties,and the uptake of potentially toxic elements(PTEs).The results showed that applying more SSB would decrease the ammonium nitrogen concentration and increase the available phosphorus and potassium concentrations,which inhibited corn plant growth because of high background nutrient levels of the alkaline soil.When the alkaline soil was amended with 1500 kg/hm2 SSB,the dry weight of 100 niblets increased from 32.11 g in the control to 35.07 g.There was no significant variation in the total concentration of PTEs in the soil.The concentrations of Mn,Ni,Cu,and Zn in niblets decreased from 5.54,0.83,2.26,and 27.15 mg/kg in the control to 4.47,0.62,1.30,and 23.45 mg/kg,respectively.Accordingly,the health risk from corn consumption was significantly reduced.Furthermore,the combination of SSB and fertilizer improved corn growth and reduced the risk of consumption of PTEs.Therefore,considering the increase in corn fruit yield and the decrease in consumption risk,applying 1500 kg/hm2 of biochar to alkaline soils is a realistically achievable rate,which can broaden the utilization of SSB for remediation of different types of soil.Shengyu Xie Guangwei Yu Ruqing Jiang Jianli Ma Xiaofu Shang Gang Wang Yin Wang Yongan Yang Chunxing Li 2021Biochar2021,3,2:2

16Flexible electronics manufacturing technology and equipment显示文摘Flexible electronics such as mechanically compliant displays,sensors and solar cells,have important applications in the fields of energy,national defence and biomedicine,etc.Various types of flexible electronics have been proposed or developed by the improvements in structural designs,material properties and device integrations.However,the manufacturing of flexible electronics receives little attention,which limits its mass production and industrialization.The increasing demands on the size,functionality,resolution ratio and reliability of flexible electronics bring several significant challenges in their manufacturing processes.This work aims to report the state-of-art technologies and applications of flexible electronics manufacturing.Three key technologies including electrohydrodynamic direct-writing,flip chip and automatic optical inspection are highlighted.The mechanism and developments of these technologies are discussed in detail.Based on these technologies,the present work develops three kinds of manufacturing equipment,i.e.,inkjet printing manufacturing equipment,robotized additive manufacturing equipment,and roll-to-roll manufacturing equipment.The advanced manufacturing processes,equipment and systems for flexible electronics pave the way for applications of new displays,smart sensing skins and epidermal electronics,etc.By reviewing the developments of flexible electronics manufacturing technology and equipment,it can be found that the existing advances greatly promote the applications and commercialization of flexible electronics.Since flexible electronics manufacturing contains many multi-disciplinary problems,the current investigations are confronted with great challenges.Therefore,further developments of the reviewed manufacturing technology and equipment are necessary to break the current limitations of manufacturing resolution,efficiency and reliability.YIN ZhouPing HUANG YongAn YANG Hua CHEN JianKui DUAN YongQing CHEN Wei 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,9:1

19Real-time adaptive particle image velocimetry for accurate unsteady flow field measurements显示文摘Almost all conventional open-loop particle image velocimetry(PIV) methods employ fixed-interval-time optical imaging technology and the time-consuming cross-correlation-based PIV measurement algorithm to calculate the velocity field.In this study,a novel real-time adaptive particle image velocity(RTA-PIV) method is proposed to accurately measure the instantaneous velocity field of an unsteady flow field.In the proposed closed-loop RTA-PIV method,a new correlation-filter-based PIV measurement algorithm is introduced to calculate the velocity field in real time.Then,a Kalman predictor model is established to predict the velocity of the next time instant and a suitable interval time can be determined.To adaptively adjust the interval time for capturing two particle images,a new high-speed frame-straddling vision system is developed for the proposed RTA-PIV method.To fully analyze the performance of the RTA-PIV method,we conducted a series of numerical experiments on ground-truth image pairs and on real-world image sequences.OUYANG ZhenXing YANG Hua LU Jin HUANG YongAn YIN ZhouPing 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,9:1
