| 1 | In vivo evaluation of urokinase-loaded hollow nanogels for sonothrombolysis on suture embolization-induced acute ischemic stroke rat model显示文摘The urokinase-type plasminogen activator(uPA)loaded hollow nanogels(nUK)were synthesized by a one-step reaction of glycol chitosan and aldehyde capped poly(ethylene oxide).The resultant formulation is sensitive to diagnostic ultrasound(US)of 2 MHz.Herein,we evaluated the in vivo sonothrombolysis performance of the nUK on acute ischemic stroke rat model which was established by suture embolization of middle cerebral artery(MCA).Via intravenous(i.v.)administration,the experimental data prove a controlled release of the therapeutic protein around the clots under ultrasound stimulation,leading to enhanced thrombolysis efficiency of the nUK,evidenced from smaller infarct volume and better clinical scores when compared to the i.v.dose of free uPA no matter with or without US intervention.Meanwhile,the preservation ability of the nanogels not only prolonged the circulation duration of the protein,but also resulted in the better blood-brain barrier protection of the nUK formulation,showing no increased risk on the hemorrhagic transformation than the controls.This work suggests that the nUK is a safe sonothrombolytic formulation for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke. | Yuming Teng Haiqiang Jin Ding Nan Mengnan Li Chenghe Fan Yuanyuan Liu Pu Lv Wei Cui Yongan Sun Hongjun Hao Xiaozhong Qu Zhenzhong Yang Yining Huang | 2018 | Bioactive Materials2018,3,1: | 7 |
| 2 | Propofol effectively inhibits lithium-pilocarpine-induced status epilepticus in rats via downregulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2B subunit expression显示文摘Status epilepticus was induced via intraperitoneal injection of lithium-pilocarpine.The inhibitory effects of propofol on status epilepticus in rats were judged based on observation of behavior,electroencephalography and 24-hour survival rate.Propofol(12.5-100 mg/kg) improved status epilepticus in a dose-dependent manner,and significantly reduced the number of deaths within 24 hours of lithium-pilocarpine injection.Western blot results showed that,24 hours after induction of status epilepticus,the levels of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2A and 2B subunits were significantly increased in rat cerebral cortex and hippocampus.Propofol at 50 mg/kg significantly suppressed the increase in N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2B subunit levels,but not the increase in N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2A subunit levels.The results suggest that propofol can effectively inhibit status epilepticus induced by lithium-pilocarpine.This effect may be associated with downregulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2B subunit expression after seizures. | Henglin wang Zhuoqiang Wang Weidong Mi Cong Zhao Yanqin Liu Yongan Wang Haipeng Sun | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,11: | 3 |

| 6 | Mass transfer techniques for large-scaleand high-density microLED arrays显示文摘Inorganic-based micro light-emitting diodes (microLEDs) offer more fascinating properties and unique demands in next-generation displays. However, the small size of the microLED chip (1–100 µm) makes it extremely challenging for high efficiency and low cost to accurately, selectively, integrate millions of microLED chips. Recent impressive technological advances have overcome the drawbacks of traditional pick-and-place techniques when they were utilized in the assembly of microLED display, including the most broadly recognized laser lift-off technique, contact micro-transfer printing (µTP) technique, laser non-contact µTP technique, and self-assembly technique. Herein, we firstly review the key developments in mass transfer technique and highlight their potential value, covering both the state-of-the-art devices and requirements for mass transfer in the assembly of the ultra-large-area display and virtual reality glasses. We begin with the significant challenges and the brief history of mass transfer technique, and expand that mass transfer technique is composed of two major techniques, namely, the epitaxial Lift-off technique and the pick-and-place technique. The basic concept and transfer effects for each representative epitaxial Lift-off and pick-and-place technique in mass transfer are then overviewed separately. | 9 | Estimation of Aleatory Randomness by S_(a)(T_(1))-Based Intensity Measures in Fragility Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Frame Structures显示文摘Based on the multiple stripes analysis method,an investigation of the estimation of aleatory randomness by S_(a)(T_(1))-based intensity measures(IMs)in the fragility analysis is carried out for two typical low-and mediumrise reinforced concrete(RC)frame structures with 4 and 8 stories,respectively.The sensitivity of the aleatory randomness estimated in fragility curves to various S_(a)(T_(1))-based IMs is analyzed at three damage limit states,i.e.,immediate occupancy,life safety,and collapse prevention.In addition,the effect of characterization methods of bidirectional ground motion intensity on the record-to-record variability is investigated.It is found that the damage limit state of the structure has an important influence on the applicability of the ground motion IM.The S_(a)(T_(1))-based IMs,considering the effect of softened period,can maintain lower record-to-record variability in the three limit states,and the S_(a)(T_(1))-based IMs,considering the effect of higher modes,do not show their advantage over S_(a)(T_(1)).Furthermore,the optimal multiplier C and exponentαin the dual-parameter ground motion IM are proposed to obtain a lower record-to-record variability in the fragility analysis of different damage limit state.Finally,the improved dual-parameter ground motion IM is applied in the risk assessment of the 8-story frame structure. | Yantai Zhang Yongan Shi Baoyin Sun ZhengWang | 2022 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,1: | 0 |
| 10 | Laser projection proximity transfer for deterministic assembly of microchip arrays at scale显示文摘Deterministic assembly techniques that enable programmatic and massively parallel integration of chips are essential for the development of novel electronic systems such as micro LED displays.However,large-area integration of ultrathin micro-chips with high yield and transfer accuracy remains a great challenge due to the difficulties in selective transfer,adhesion switchability,and transfer deviation.Here,a“laser projection proximity transfer(Laser PPT)”technique is presented for the deterministic assembly of microchip arrays at scale.One of the remarkable features is that the transfer status between the chip and the receiver substrate evolves from the original non-contact mode to contact mode for high-precision transfer,which overcomes the strict requirements of the flatness of stamp and substrate in contact-style transfer,and flight deviation of microchip array in noncontact-style transfer.Another feature is the rapid modulation of interfacial adhesion for reliable transfer via the use of thermally expandable microspheres to form microstructures and combining with a laser-induced blister.The adhesion regulation range is over 20 times without any damage to chip arrays.The results show that the transfer accuracy has been improved substantially with a minimum relative error of~0.5%.Combined with a laser beam projection system,demonstrations of Laser PPT for selective assembly of fragile objects onto challenging non-adhesive/cured surfaces in batch illustrate its potential in the highprecision integration of microscale chips at scale. | HU JinLong CHEN FuRong BIAN Jing SUN NingNing WANG KaiXin LING Hong YU HaiYang GAI MengXin XU LiZhi HUANG YongAn | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,9: | 0 |
| 11 | A universal performance-enhancing method for Li-S batteries:the cathode material of Li_(2)S@Li_(2)S_(2)@Li_(2)S_(6) double-shell structure显示文摘Lithium sulfide(Li_(2)S)as a cathode material for lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries,one of the most promising advanced batteries in the future,has received tremendous attention in the past decades.However,developing the practical Li_(2)S cathode confronts challenges of low conductivity for Li-ions and electrons,high sensitivity to environmental moisture,big overpotential barrier to electrochemical activation,and poor cyclability due to the shuttle effect of intermediate species.This article herein reports a simple and effective strategy for making Li_(2)S@Li_(2)S_(2)@Li_(2)S_(6) double-shelled microparticles,which can significantly mitigate these problems.They are synthesized by dissolving Li2S together with S in dimethoxyethane,then drying off the solvent,and finally calcining the collected solid.Compared with pure Li_(2)S,such a double-shell material presents a 26.7% improvement in cycling capacity,0.5 V lower in activation overpotential,and prolonged tolerance in the ambient environment.The density functional theory calculation shows that the performance enhancement lies in the higher stability of Li2S6in contact with moisture and some autocatalytic effect of Li_(2)S_(2)@Li_(2)S_(6).Such a double-shell structure becomes a universal performanceenhancing approach when being combined with other means,such as cathodes composited with catalytic MoS_(2),separators modified with selenium-doped sulfurized-polyacrylonitrile/montmorillonite,electrolytes containing fluorenone additive,and Li anodes coated with a layer of Li_(3)N.The corresponding capacity retention shows up to 80%improvement compared with pure Li_(2)S. | Shunjin Yang Yujiang Sun Qiaran Zhang Xiaohu Hu Xing Chen Guoran Li Xiao Sun Yuzhe Zhang Shijie Xu Xinyu Wang Yongan Yang | 2024 | Science China Chemistry2024,67,4: | 0 |
