1Present Terrestrial Heat Flow Measurements of the Geothermal Fields in the Chagan Sag of the YingenEjinaqi Basin,Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘Owing to the lack o f terrestrial heat flow data, studying lithospheric thermal structure and geodynamics of the Yingen-Ejinaqi Basin in Inner Mongolia is limited. In this paper, the terrestrial heat flow o f the Chagan sag in the YingenEjinaqi Basin were calculated by 193 system steady-state temperature measurements of 4 wells, and newly measuring 62 rock thermal conductivity and 20 heat production rate data on basis o f the original 107 rock thermal conductivity and 70 heat production data. The results show that the average thermal conductivity and heat production rate are 2.11 ±0.28 W/(m.K) and2.42±0.25 nW/m^3 in the Lower Cretaceous o f the Chagan sag. The average geothermal gradient from the Lower Suhongtu 2 Formation to the Suhongtu 1 Fonnation is 37.6 °C/km, and that o f the Bayingebi 2 Formation is 27.4 °C/km. Meanwhile, the average terrestrial heat flow in the Chagan sag is 70.6 mW/m^2. On the above results, it is clear that there is an obvious negative correlation between the thermal conductivity o f the stratum and its geothermal gradient. Moreover, it reveals that there is a geothermal state between tectonically stable and active areas. 2Theoretical and numerical studies of crack initiation and propagation in rock masses under freezing pressure and far-field stress显示文摘Water-bearing rocks exposed to freezing temperature can be subjected to freezeethaw cycles leading to crack initiation and propagation,which are the main causes of frost damage to rocks.Based on the Griffith theory of brittle fracture mechanics,the crack initiation criterion,propagation direction,and crack length under freezing pressure and far-field stress are analyzed.Furthermore,a calculation method is proposed for the stress intensity factor(SIF) of the crack tip under non-uniformly distributed freezing pressure.The formulae for the crack/fracture propagation direction and length of the wing crack under freezing pressure are obtained,and the mechanism for coalescence of adjacent cracks is investigated.In addition,the necessary conditions for different coalescence modes of cracks are studied.Using the topology theory,a new algorithm for frost crack propagation is proposed,which has the capability to define the crack growth path and identify and update the cracked elements.A model that incorporates multiple cracks is built by ANSYS and then imported into FLAC3 D.The SIFs are then calculated using a FISH procedure,and the growth path of the freezing cracks after several calculation steps is demonstrated using the new algorithm.The proposed method can be applied to rocks containing fillings such as detritus and slurry.Yongshui Kang Quansheng Liu Xiaoyan Liu Shibing Huang 2014Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2014,6,5:5

12Hydrocarbon Generation Characteristics of Source Rocks from Different Saline Environments in the Dongpu Depression,Bohai Bay Basin,China显示文摘The Dongpu Depression is a secondary salt-bearing tectonic unit in the Bohai Bay Basin,eastern China.The depositional environment of this depression regarding its Paleogene strata is clearly different in plane,including the saltwater environment(SE)in the north,the freshwater environment(FE)in the south and the brackish water environment(BE)in the middle.The result of oil and gas exploration in the Dongpu Depression shows that more than 90%of the proven oil reserves are distributed in the northern saltwater environment.Previous studies indicate that the organic geochemistry characteristics and the hydrocarbon generation capacity of the source rocks are very clearly diverse under different environments,which results in the significant differences in the proved reserves between the north and the south.In order to further explore the differences in the hydrocarbon generation capacity of the source rocks under distinct depositional environments and the mechanism of their occurrence,three samples from different depositional environments(W18-5 for SE,H7-18 for BE,CH9 for FE)were used for confined gold tube pyrolysis experiments.The results show that the CH4 yields of W18-5,H7-18 and CH9 increase with increasing temperature,the maximum yields being 405.62 mg/g TOC,388.56 mg/g TOC and 367.89 mg/g TOC,respectively.The liquid hydrocarbon yields of W18-5,H7-18 and CH9 firstly increase with increasing temperature and then decrease after the critical temperatures.The maximum yields of C6-14 are 149.54 mg/g TOC,140.18 mg/g TOC and 116.94 mg/g TOC,the maximum yields of C14+being 852.4 mg/g TOC,652.6 mg/g TOC and 596.41 mg/g TOC,respectively for W18-5,H7-18 and CH9.To summarize,the order of hydrocarbon potential from high to low is W18-5,H7-18 and CH9.On this basis,through analyzing the influencing factors of hydrocarbon differences,this paper reveals that the saltwater environment is characterized by 4 factors:higher salinity,halophilic algae,high paleo-productivity and a strongly reducing environment,which are beneficial to the enrichment of organic matter and lead to the formation of high levels of sapropelite and exinite.According to the variation of oil and gas components in the pyrolysis experiments,the hydrocarbon generation process is divided into three stages:kerogen cracking,oil cracking and C2-5 cracking.Combined with hydrocarbon generation characteristics and stages,the evolutionary model of hydrocarbon generation for source rocks under different environments is established.LI Wendu ZHANG Pengyuan JIANG Fujie ZHANG Yunxian HUANG Renda XU Tianwu ZHOU Yongshui LI Longlong JIANG Wenli 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,4:0
13Studies on the Compressive Mechanical Properties of Antitetrachiral Honeycombs with Different Thickness Ratios of Ligament to Cylinder显示文摘This paper investigated the compressive mechanical properties of antitetrachiral honeycombs with different thickness ratios of ligament to cylinder.The deformation and energy absorption performance of the structures were characterized by the cooperation of experimental and numerical methods.First,two types(small and large thickness ratios)of antitetrachiral honeycombs were manufactured by 3D printing.Then,the deformation mode,negative Poisson’s ratio(NPR)and crushing stress of the honeycombs were obtained experimentally.After that,a finite element(FE)model was established by using ABAQUS/Explicit,and the numerical model and method were validated.Based on experimental and numerical results,the X mode,double-parallel line mode and cylinder mode were obtained in the compressive deformation of the honeycomb with a small thickness ratio.The Bi-V mode,“e”mode and Z mode were obtained in the compressive deformation of the honeycomb with a large thickness ratio.The influence of the thickness ratio of ligament to cylinder was studied,and a thickness ratio of 1.625 was the critical value for the transformation of the antitetrachiral honeycomb deformation modes.Jinshun Hu Yongshui Lin Wei Chen 2022Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2022,35,3:0
14Mass and heat balance calculations and economic evaluation of an innovative biomass pyrolysis project显示文摘Biomass can be converted intoflammable gas,charcoal,wood vinegar,wood tar oil and noncombustible materials with thermo-chemical pyrolysis reactions.Many factors influence these processes,such as the properties of the raw materials,and temperature control and these will affect the products that are produced.Based on the data from a straw pyrolysis demonstration project,the mass and heat balance of the biomass pyrolysis process were analyzed.The statistical product and service solutions(SPSS)statistical method was used to analyze the data which were monitored on-site.A cost-benefit analysis was then used to study the viability of commercializing the project.The analysis included net present value,internal rate of return and investment payback period.These results showed that the straw pyrolysis project has little risk,and will produce remarkable economic benefits.Quanyuan WEI Yongshui QU Tianwei TAN 2011Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2011,5,3:0
