| 2 | Behavior and mechanism of graphene oxide-tris(4-aminophenyl)amine composites in adsorption of rare earth elements显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)graphene oxide-tris(4-aminophenyl)amine(GO-TAPAx:y)composites with different GO-to-TAPA mass ratios(x:y)were prepared by a facile one-step ultrasonic treatment.GOTAPAx:y composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),nitrogen(N2)adsorption-desorption isotherms,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Behavior and mechanism of GO-TAPAx:yco mposites for the adsorption of rare earth elements(REEs)were investigated.The adso rption capacities of GO-TAPA1;2 composite for Yb^3+,Er^3+,Nd^3+,La^3+and Y^3+are 30.88,26.52,20.60,11.24 and 10.52 mg/g,respectively.Effects of some important parameters including GO-to-TAPA mass ratios,contact time,reaction temperature and initial Yb^3+concentration on the adsorption were evaluated in detail.FTIR spectral and XPS analyses show that the metal complexations and ion exchanges between nitrogen/oxygen-containing species of the adsorbents and REEs are involved in the adsorption procedure besides the conventional adsorption based on specific surface area,indicating the introduction of specific molecules onto GO is beneficial to its adsorption ability.The convenient reusability and applicability of GO-TAPAx:y composites toward real samples also demonstrate their feasibility in the enrichment of REE ions. | Xiaoru Zhao Xinyu Jiang Dongming Peng Jie Teng Jingang Yu | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,1: | 3 |
| 3 | A robust polyacrylic acid/chitosan cryogel for rapid hemostasis显示文摘Currently,it is a challenge to develop hemostatic materials with high water absorption capacity and anti-fatigue properties for quickly preventing massive hemorrhage from arteries and visceral organs.A series of polyacrylic acid/chitosan(PAA/CS)cryogels were prepared by a cryostructurization technique to improve mechanical performance and hemostatic efficiency of chitosan(CS).In this system,the chemically cross-linked PAA network was used as a framework to improve water absorption behaviors and mechanical strength.The CS network was co-blended by hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interactions,both of which synergistically promoted hemostasis.These cryogels had high porosity(>94%),rapid water absorption rate(<3 s),high blood absorption capacity(>2000%),outstanding mechanical strength,and fatigue resistance.Moreover,the results of cytotoxicity and hemolysis demonstrated that the cryogels had good biocompatibility.Notably,the PAA/CS cryogels exhibited superior whole blood coagulation ability and red blood cell and platelet adhesion ability compared to those of commercial hemostatic dressing(gauze,gelatin sponges,and CS sponges).Based on these results,mouse femoral artery hemorrhage models and liver hemorrhage models were prepared to investigate the hemostatic ability of the prepared PAA/CS cryogels.Results suggested that the hemostatic ability of PAA5/CS cryogels was superior to that of commercial hemostatic materials.Therefore,the PAA/CS cryogels showed potential application in preventing massive hemorrhage from arteries and visceral organs. | SHI MingYue JIANG LiJie YU ChaoJie DONG XiaoRu YU QingYu YAO MengMeng HE ShaoShuai YUE ZhiWei YAO FangLian ZHANG Hong SUN Hong LI JunJie | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,5: | 1 |

| 6 | A Pilot Protection Scheme of DC Lines for MMC-HVDC Grid Using Random Matrix显示文摘The over-current capacity of half-bridge modular multi-level converter(MMC)is quite weak,which requests protections to detect faults accurately and reliably in several milliseconds after DC faults.The sensitivity and reliability of the existing schemes are vulnerable to high resistance and data errors.To improve the insufficiencies,this paper proposes a pilot protection scheme by using the random matrix for DC lines in the symmetrical bipolar MMC high-voltage direct current(HVDC)grid.Firstly,the 1-mode voltage time-domain characteristics of the line end,DC bus,and adjacent line end are analyzed by the inverse Laplace transform to find indicators of fault direction.To combine the actual model with the data-driven method,the methods to construct the data expansion matrix and to calculate additional noise are proposed.Then,the mean spectral radiuses of two random matrices are used to detect fault directions,and a novel pilot protection criterion is proposed.The protection scheme only needs to transmit logic signals,decreasing the communication burden.It performs well in high-resistance faults,abnormal data errors,measurement errors,parameters errors,and different topology conditions.Numerous simulations in PSCAD/EMTDC confirm the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed protection scheme. | Senlin Yu Xiaoru Wang Chao Pang | 2023 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2023,11,3: | 0 |

| 8 | Corrosion mechanism of Mg alloys involving elongated long-period stacking ordered phase and intragranular lamellar structure显示文摘It is a long-term challenge to further improve the corrosion resistance while ensuring the strength of magnesium(Mg)alloys.Revealing the effect of potential fluctuation on the micro-galvanic corrosion and the subsequent film formation is important for understanding the corrosion mechanism of Mg alloys with multiple strengthening phases/structures.Here,we prepared the high-strength Mg-14.4Er-1.44Zn-0.3Zr(wt.%)alloys containing hybrid structures,i.e.,elongated long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)blocks+intragranular stacking faults(SFs)/LPSO lamellae.The Mg alloy with elongated LPSO blocks and intragranular LPSO lamellae(EZ-500 alloy)obtains good corrosion resistance(2.2 mm y^(–1)),while the Mg alloy containing elongated LPSO blocks and intragranular SFs(EZ-400 alloy)shows a significantly higher corrosion rate(6.9 mm y^(–1)).The results of scanning Kelvin probe force microscopy(SKPFM)show the elongated LPSO blocks act as cathode phase(87 mV in EZ-400 alloy),and the SFs serve as the weak anode(30 mV in EZ-400 alloy),resulting in high potential fluctuation in EZ-400 alloy.On the contrary,both elongated blocks and intragranular lamellae are cathodic LPSO phase(67–69 mV)in EZ-500 alloy,leading to a lower potential fluctuation.Quasi in-situ atomic force microscope(AFM)observation indicates that high potential fluctuation would cause strong micro-galvanic corrosion,and subsequently leads to the failure in rapid formation of corrosion film,finally forming a loose and porous film,while relatively low potential fluctuation could result in more uniform corrosion mode and facilitate the rapid formation of protective film.Therefore,we propose that it is an effective way to develop high-strength corrosionresistant Mg alloys by controlling the potential fluctuation to form a“uniform potential”strengthening microstructure。 | Jinshu Xie Jinghuai Zhang Zhi Zhang Zijian Yu Zhihao Xu Ru Wang Daqing Fang Xiaobo Zhang Xiaoru Zhang Ruizhi Wu | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,20: | 0 |
