| 2 | A SEMI-ANALYTICAL AND SEMI-NUMERICAL METHOD FOR SOLVING 2-D SOUND-STRUCTURE INTERACTION PROBLEMS显示文摘Based on the transfer matrix method and the virtual source simulation technique,this paper proposes a novel semi-analytical and semi-numerical method for solving 2-D sound-structure interaction problems under a harmonic excitation. Within any integration segment,as long as its length is small enough, along the circumferential curvilinear coordinate, the nonhomogeneous matrix differential equation of an elastic ring of complex geometrical shape can be rewritten in terms of the homogeneous one by the method of extended homogeneous capacity proposed in this paper. For the exterior fluid domain, the multi-circular virtual source simulation technique is adopted. The source density distributed on each virtual circular curve may be ex-panded as the Fourier''s series. Combining with the inverse fast Fourier transformation, a higher accuracy and efficiency method for solving 2-D exterior Helmholtz's problems is presented in this paper. In the aspect of solution to the coupling equations, the state vectors of elastic ring induced by the given harmonic excitation and generalized forces of coefficients of the Fourier series can be obtained respectively by using a high precision integration scheme combined with the method of extended homogeneous capacity put forward in this paper. According to the superposition principle and compatibility conditions at the interface between the elastic ring and fluid, the algebraic equation of system can be directly constructed by using the least square approximation. Examples of acoustic radiation from two typical fluid-loaded elastic rings under a harmonic concentrated force are presented. | 4 | Distributed Vibration Sensor With Laser Phase-Noise Immunity by Phase-Extraction φ-OTDR显示文摘We have demonstrated a distributed vibration sensor based on phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer (φ-OTDR) system exhibiting immunity to the laser phase noise. Two laser sources with different linewidth and phase noise levels are used in the φ-OTDR system, respectively. Based on the phase noise power spectrum density of both lasers, the laser phase is almost unchanged during an extremely short period of time, hence, the impact of phase noise can be suppressed effectively through phase difference between the Rayleigh scattered light from two adjacent sections of the fiber which define the gauge length. Based on the phase difference method, the external vibration can be located accurately at 41.01 km by the(φ-OTDR system incorporating these two lasers. Meanwhile, the average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the retrieved vibration signal by using Laser I is found to be -37.7 dB, which is comparable to that of -37.5 dB by using Laser II although the linewidth and the phase noise level of the two lasers are distinct. | 6 | Economic evaluation of cervical cancer screening strategies in urban China显示文摘Objective:This study evaluated the feasibility of different cervical cancer screening strategies in urban China.Methods:A Markov model was constructed to simulate a hypothetical cohort of 100,000 females aged 30-59 years in a 20-year period.Screening strategies included liquid-based cytology(LBC)every three years,human papillomavirus(HPV)DNA testing every three and five years,respectively,and a combination of HPV DNA testing and LBC(HPV+LBC)every three and five years,respectively.Model outcomes included cumulative incidence over 20 years,cumulative risk of cervical cancer,costs,life year saved(LYS),quality-adjusted life years(QALYs)and benefits.The cost-effectiveness ratios(CERs),incremental cost-effectiveness ratios(ICERs),costutility ratios(CURs),and benefit-cost ratios(BCRs)were used as outcomes in the health economic evaluation analysis.Univariate sensitivity analyses were performed to examine the stability of the results.Results:The cumulative incidence of the five screening strategies ranged from 833.02 to 1,158.07 cases per100,000 females.HPV DNA testing was most effective in reducing the cumulative risk of cervical cancer,saving life years and QALYs and gaining benefits.The CERs of HPV DNA testing every three and five years,and LBC every three years were considered to be very cost-effective if they were below China's GDP per capita.The CERs of HPV+LBC were considered to be cost-effective if they were below three times GDP per capita.The incremental cost-effectiveness analysis showed that HPV DNA testing every three and five years,LBC every three years and HPV+LBC every five years were dominant strategies.Conclusions:The findings of this study indicated that HPV DNA testing every five years or LBC every three years should be recommended in urban China. | Li Ma Yuying Wang Xiaohong Gao Yi Dai Yu Zhang Zhaojing Wang Xiaoxia Wang Limin Wang Jing Jiang Xinhua Jing Chunxia Yang Fanghui Zhao Jinghe Lang Youlin Qiao | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,6: | 4 |

| 8 | ASAF: altered spontaneous activity fingerprinting in Alzheimer’s disease based on multisite fMRI显示文摘Several monocentric studies have noted alterations in spontaneous brain activity in Alzheimer's disease (AD), although there is no consensus on the altered amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations in AD patients. The main aim of the present study was to identify a reliable and reproducible abnormal brain activity pattern in AD. The amplitude of local brain activity (AM), which can provide fast mapping of spontaneous brain activity across the whole brain, was evaluated based on multisite rs-fMRI data for 688 subjects (215 normal controls (NCs), 221 amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) 252 AD). Two-sample t-tests were used to detect group differences between AD patients and NCs from the same site. Differences in the AM maps were statistically analyzed via the Stouffer's meta-analysis. Consistent regions of lower spontaneous brain activity in the default mode network and increased activity in the bilateral hippocampus/parahippocampus, thalamus, caudate nucleus, orbital part of the middle frontal gyrus and left fusiform were observed in the AD patients compared with those in NCs. Significant correlations (P?0.05, Bonferroni corrected) between the normalized amplitude index and Mini-Mental State Examination scores were found in the identified brain regions, which indicates that the altered brain activity was associated with cognitive decline in the patients. Multivariate analysis and leave-one-site-out cross-validation led to a 78.49% prediction accuracy for single-patient classification. The altered activity patterns of the identified brain regions were largely correlated with the FDG-PET results from another independent study. | 9 | A New Ductile Fracture Criterion and Its Application to the Prediction of Forming Limit in Deep Drawing显示文摘With considering the influence of equivalent plastic strain on void-damage and taking Lemaitre damage equivalent stress as plastic potential, based on continuous damage mechanics theory, a new criterion for ductile fracture is derived. The two key material constants in the criterion are determined by the combination of tension tests with FE (finite element) simulation. On the basis of the values of stress and strain calculated from commercial finite element software, the forming limit in cylindrical deep drawing of annealed aluminum alloy LY12(M) is predicted by means of the new ductile fracture criterion. Experiments verify that the predicted results are in agreement with the experimental ones. | 11 | Biochar-Induced Priming Effects in Young and Old Poplar Plantation Soils显示文摘The priming effect(PE)induced by biochar provides a basis for evaluating its carbon(C)sequestration potential in soils.A 60 days’laboratory incubation was conducted,which involved the amendment of biochar(1%of soil mass)produced from rice straw at 300℃(B300)and 500℃(B500)to young(Y)and old(O)poplar plantation soils,with the aim of studying the responses of biochar-induced PEs to poplar plantation ages.This incubation included six treatments:Y+CK(control),Y+B300,Y+B500,O+CK,O+B300,and O+B500.Carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions were significantly increased(p<0.05)in the B300 amended soils,while it was decreased in the B500 amended soils compared to the CK.The primed CO_(2) emissions were 2.35 times higher in the Y+B300 than the O+B300 treatments,which was measured to be 18.6 and 5.56 mg C·kg^(-1) with relative PEs of 12.4%and 3.35%,respectively.However,there was little difference between the primed CO_(2) emissions in Y+B500 and O+B500 treatments,which were measured to be-24.9 and-29.6 mg·C·kg^(-1) with relative PEs of-16.6%and-17.8%,respectively.Dissolved organic carbon(DOC)was significantly lower in the young poplar plantation soil than that in the old poplar plantation soil regardless of biochar amendment throughout the incubation,indicating greater C-limit of soil microorganisms in the young poplar plantation soil.Using ^(13)C isotope tracing,neither B300 nor B500 decreased native soil-derived DOC,which indicated that the negative B500-induced PEs were not due to a reduction in the availability of native soil-derived C.In conclusion,the response of biochar-induced PEs to poplar plantation age depends on biochar types while soil available C indirectly affects biochar-induced PEs.Further studies should focus on how the interactive effects between soil C availability and microbial community impacts biochar-induced PEs. | Weiwei Lu Yirui Zhang Yixian Yao Yuying Wu Han Y.H.Chen Hailin Zhang Jia Yu Caiqin Shen Qi Liu Honghua Ruan | 2020 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,1: | 2 |
| 12 | Intra-strain Elicitation and Suppression of Plant Immunity by Ralstonia solanacearum Type-III Effectors in Nicotiana benthamiana显示文摘Effector proteins delivered inside plant cells are powerful weapons for bacterial pathogens,but this exposes the pathogen to potential recognition by the plant immune system.Therefore,the effector repertoire of a given pathogen must be balanced for a successful infection.Ralstonia solanacearum is an aggressive pathogen with a large repertoire of secreted effectors.One of these effectors,RipE1,is conserved in most R.solanacearum strains sequenced to date.In this work,we found that RipE1 triggers immunity in N.benthamiana,which requires the immune regulator SGT1,but not EDS1 or NRCs.Interestingly,RipE1-triggered immunity induces the accumulation of salicylic acid(SA)and the overexpression of several genes encoding phenylalanine-ammonia lyases(PALs),suggesting that the unconventional PALmediated pathway is responsible for the observed SA biosynthesis.Surprisingly,RipE1 recognition also induces the expression of jasmonic acid(JA)-responsive genes and JA biosynthesis,suggesting that both SA and JA may act cooperatively in response to RipE1.We further found that RipE1 expression leads to the accumulation of glutathione in plant cells,which precedes the activation of immune responses.R.solanacearum secretes another effector,RipAY,which is known to inhibit immune responses by degrading cellular glutathione.Accordingly,RipAY inhibits RipE1-triggered immune responses.This work shows a strategy employed by R.solanacearum to counteract the perception of its effector proteins by plant immune system. | Yuying Sang Wenjia Yu Haiyan Zhuang Yali Wei Lida Derevnina Gang Yu Jiamin Luo Alberto P.Macho | 2020 | Plant Communications2020,1,4: | 2 |
