2Photocatalytic performance of TiO_2 catalysts modified by H_3PW_(12)O_(40), ZrO_2 and CeO_2显示文摘The binary composite photo-catalysts CeO2/TiO2, ZrO2/TiO2 and the ternary composite photo-catalysts H3PW12O40-CeO2/TiO2, H3PW12O40-ZrO2/TiO2 were prepared by sol-gel method. The catalysts were characterized by thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The photocatalytic elimination of methanol was used as model reaction to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of the composite catalysts under ultraviolet light irradiation. The effects of doped content, activation temperature, time, initial concentration of methanol and gas ffow rate on the catalytic activity were investigated. The results showed that after doping a certain amount of CeO2 and ZrO2, crystallization process of TiO2 was restrained, particles of catalysts are smaller and more uniform. Doping ZrO2 not only significantly improved the catalytic activity, but also increased thermal stability. Doping H3PW12O40 also enhanced the catalytic activity. The catalytic activities of binary and ternary composite photocatalysts were significantly higher than un-doped TiO2. The dynamics law of photocatalytic reaction over the binary CeO2/TiO2 and ZrO2/TiO2 catalysts has been studied. The activation energy 15.627 and 15.631 kJ/mol and pre-exponential factors 0.5176 and 0.9899 s-1 over each corresponding catalyst were obtained. 3Experimental investigation of the effects of shrub filter strips on debris flow trapping and interception显示文摘Ecological engineering plays an increasingly significant role in mountain hazard control,but the effect of species selection and arrangement(e.g.,row spacing and stem spacing)on debris flow suppression is still unclear.To further understand the interception efficiency of shrub arrangement parameters on debris flow and explore the difference with slow hydraulic erosion,sixteen sets of small-scale flume experiments with different stem and row spacings were done to study the effects of shrubs on debris flow severity,flow rate,velocity,and particle size.The results suggest that,for a dilute debris flow,sediment interception effectiveness(27.4%-60.9%)decreases gradually as stem spacing increases.Moreover,as row spacing increases,flow velocity reduction(34.4%-44.9%)and flow reduction(18.5%-47.4%)gradually decrease;and the bulk density reduction(0.5%-5.3%)and sediment interception increase initially and then decrease.In contrast,for a viscous debris flow,the flow reduction,flow velocity reduction,and sedimentation interception decrease gradually as the stem spacing increases.As row spacing increases,the flow velocity reduction,flow reduction,and sediment interception all increase initially and then decrease.A formula for the flow velocity of dilute debris flow after the filter strip was derived based on the energy conservation law and Bernoulli’s equation,confirming that debris flow movement is closely related to the degree of vegetation cover.This research strengthens the current understanding of the effectiveness of vegetation in debris flow disaster prevention and control and can guide practical applications.Songtang He Wenle Chen Daojie Wang Xiaoqing Chen Yuchao Qi Peng Zhao Yong Li Yongming Lin Ali Akbar Jamali 2023International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,2:1
4Optimization and verification of wind tunnel free-flight similarity law for separation of cluster munition显示文摘In view of the separation form of the separator from the back of the carrier upward and from the side of the carrier outward, separation-safety research is carried out by taking the separation of a cluster munition as an example. In previous wind tunnel free-flight tests, the similarity law of vertical, downward, moving submunition was used to design submunitions at different positions in different initial-velocity directions, which resulted in large discrepancies between wind tunnel test results and real flight. In a wind tunnel test, each submunition has an independent time-reduction ratio with respect to the dispenser. Even if the separation trajectory of a single submunition is accurate, there will be errors in the position of each submunition at a given time. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the time-reduction ratio between submunitions, and to modify the test results later. In order to ensure the accuracy of wind tunnel test results, the similarity law of a freeflight test in a wind tunnel is derived in this paper. The time-correction scheme to ensure motion similarity between submunitions is solved. Numerical simulation is used to simulate the separation of a wind tunnel test and real aircraft, and the motion parameters of different submunitions are solved. The results show that the new similarity laws derived for different types of submunitions can greatly reduce the errors caused by previous similarity laws. 6A Tale of Two“Skewness”:Managerial Epidemic Experience,Probability Weighting and Financial Market Stability显示文摘Under probability weighting,entrepreneurs with skewness preference tend to seek rightskewed and avoid left-skewed risks.We show that Chinese firms managed by CEOs with professional epidemic experience,i.e.,who previously experienced the outbreak of SARS during their tenure as high level executives,have a lower stock price crash risk measured by the negative skewness of stock prices in subsequent periods.In particular,those firms intentionally avoid stock price crashes by adopting more conservative strategies in decisionmaking.Overall,we provide the first evidence on the unintended effect of entrepreneurs'subjective judgments of the probabilities of disease outbreaks on financial market stability.These have long-term implications for the financial system.Gu Leilei Ni Xiaoran Peng Yuchao 2024Social Sciences in China2024,45,1:0

8Aggregation-induced narrowband isomeric fluorophores for ultraviolet nondoped OLEDs by engineering multiple nonbonding interactions显示文摘Traditional donor-acceptor type organic luminescent materials usually suffer from unfavorable spectral broadening and fluorescence quenching problems arising from strong inter/intra-chromophore interactions in aggregation state.Here,two ultraviolet carbazole-pyrimidine isomers(named o-DCz-Pm and m-DCz-Pm)with novel aggregation-induced narrowband phenomenon are constructed and systematic investigated by experiments and theoretical simulations.Benefitting from strengthened steric hindrance and multiple noncovalent interactions,the nonradiative decay,vibrational motion,and structural relaxation of singlet state can be effectively suppressed in aggregation state.Consequently,the electroluminescence peak of 397 nm,full width at half maximum of 21 nm and external quantum efficiency of 3.4%are achieved simultaneously in nondoped o-DCz-Pm-based device.This work paves an avenue toward the development of high-performance narrowband nondoped ultraviolet materials and organic light-emitting diodes.Yumiao Huo Haoyuan Qi Shuyao He Jie Li Shuping Song Jichen Lv Yuchao Liu Ling Peng Shian Ying Shouke Yan 2023Aggregate2023,4,6:0
9Molecular force mechanism of hydrodynamics in clay nanopores显示文摘Nanopores are prevalent within various clay morphologies,and water flow in clay nanopores is significant for various engineering applications.In this study,we performed non-equilibrium molecular dynamics(NEMD)simulations to reveal the molecular force mechanisms of water flow in clay nanopores.The water dynamic viscosity,slip length,and average flow velocity were obtained to verify the NEMD models.Since the water confined in the nanopores maintained a dynamic mechanical equilibrium state,each water lamina can be regarded as a simply supported beam.The applied driving force,the force from clay crystal layers,the force from compensating sodium ions,and the force from other water laminae were further calculated to investigate the force mechanisms.The van der Wals barrier above the surface and hydraulic gradient lead to distribution differences in water oxygen atoms,which contribute to a net van der Waals resistance component of the force from clay crystal layers.Meanwhile,the water molecules tend to rotate to generate the electrostatic resistance component of the force from clay crystal layers and balance the increasing hydraulic gradient.Due to the velocity difference,the water molecules in the slower lamina have a higher tendency to lag and generate a net electrostatic resistance force as well as a net van der Waals driving force on the water molecules in the faster lamina,which together make up the viscous force.Shengjie WEI Yuchao LI Peng SHEN Yunmin CHEN 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2023,24,9:0
