3Landscape of DILI-related adverse drug reaction in China Mainland显示文摘Drug-induced liver injury(DILI)is a type of bizarre adverse drug reaction(ADR)damaging liver(L-ADR)which may lead to substantial hospitalizations and mortality.Due to the general low incidence,detection of L-ADR remains an unsolved public health challenge.Therefore,we used the data of 6.673 million of ADR reports from January 1st,2012 to December 31st,2016 in China National ADR Monitoring System to establish a new database of L-ADR reports for future investigation.Results showed that totally 114,357 ADR reports were retrieved by keywords searching of liver-related injuries from the original heterogeneous system.By cleaning and standardizing the data fields by the dictionary of synonyms and English translation,we resulted 94,593 ADR records reported to liver injury and then created a new database ready for computer mining.The reporting status of L-ADR showed a persistent 1.62-fold change over the past five years.The national population-adjusted reporting numbers of L-ADR manifested an upward trend with age increasing and more evident in men.The annual reporting rate of L-ADR in age group over 80 years old strikingly exceeded the annual DILI incidence rate in general population,despite known underreporting situation in spontaneous ADR reporting system.The percentage of herbal and traditional medicines(H/TM)L-ADR reports in the whole number was 4.5%,while 80.60%of the H/TM reports were new findings.There was great geographical disparity of reported agents,i.e.more cardiovascular and antineoplastic agents were reported in higher socio-demographic index(SDI)regions and more antimicrobials,especially antitubercular agents,were reported in lower SDI regions.In conclusion,this study presented a large-scale,unbiased,unified,and computer-minable L-ADR database for further investigation.Age-,sex-and SDI-related risks of L-ADR incidence warrant to emphasize the precise pharmacovigilance policies within China or other regions in the world.Jiabo Wang Haibo Song Feilin Ge Peng Xiong Jing Jing Tingting He Yuming Guo Zhuo Shi Chao Zhou Zixin Han Yanzhong Han Ming Niu Zhaofang Bai Guangbin Luo Chuanyong Shen Xiaohe Xiao 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,12:12
4Association of microRNA polymorphisms with the risk of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma in a Chinese population:a case-control study显示文摘Background:MicroRNA(miRNA) polymorphisms may alter miRNA-related processes,and they likely contribute to cancer susceptibility.Various studies have investigated the associations between genetic variants in several key miRNAs and the risk of human cancers;however,few studies have focused on head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC) risk.This study aimed to evaluate the associations between several key miRNA polymorphisms and HNSCC risk in a Chinese population.Methods:In this study,we genotyped five common single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in several key miRNAs(miR-149 rs2292832,miR-146 a rs2910164,miR-605 rs2043556,miR-608 rs4919510,and miR-196a2 rs11614913) and evaluated the associations between these SNPs and HNSCC risk according to cancer site with a case-control study including 576 cases and 1552 controls,which were matched by age and sex in a Chinese population.Results:The results revealed that miR-605 rs2043556[dominant model:adjusted odds ratio(OR) 0.71,95%confidence interval(CI) 0.58-0.88;additive model:adjusted OR 0.74,95%CI 0.62-0.89]and miR-196a2 rs11614913(dominant model:adjusted OR 1.36,95%C11.08-1.72;additive model:adjusted OR 1.28,95%C11.10-1.48) were significantly associated with the risk of oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC).Furthermore,when these two loci were evaluated together based on the number of putative risk alleles(rs2043556 A and rs11614913 G),a significant locus-dosage effect was noted on the risk of OSCC(P_(trend) < 0.001).However,no significant association was detected between the other three SNPs(miR-149 rs2292832,miR- 146 a rs2910164,and miR-608 rs4919510) and HNSCC risk.Conclusion:Our study provided the evidence that miR-605 rs2043556 and miR-196a2 rs11614913 may have an impact on genetic susceptibility to OSCC in Chinese population.Limin Miao Lihua Wang Longbiao Zhu Jiangbo Du Xun Zhu Yuming Niu Ruixia Wang Zhibin Hu Ning Chen Hongbing Shen Hongxia Ma 2016Chinese Journal of Cancer2016,35,11:2

8Associations of Residential Greenness with Depression and Anxiety in Rural Chinese Adults显示文摘BACKGROUND Depression and anxiety are top contributors to non-fatal health loss globally.Several studies have indicated the association between residential greenness and mental health.METHOD The participants(n=27,366)were recruited from four counties in Henan Province,China during 2015–2017.Symptoms of depression and anxiety were evaluated using the Patient Health Questionnaire-2(PHQ-2)and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-2(GAD-2)in the baseline survey.The level of residential greenness during the 3-year period before the baseline survey was assessed using the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI).The mixed-effect linear regression model was applied to examine the associations of residential greenness with depression and anxiety.RESULTS The results of adjusted models showed that the score of PHQ-2(Dscore and 95%confidence interval[CI])decreased by-0.024(-0.041,-0.006)and-0.022(-0.038,-0.004)with an interquartile range(IQR)increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius,respectively.The score of GAD-2(Dscore and 95%CI)decreased by-0.024(-0.040,-0.006)and-0.028(-0.044,-0.011),in relation to an IQR increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius,respectively.CONCLUSIONS A higher level of residential greenness was significantly associated with lower risk of depression and anxiety in rural areas of Henan Province.Improving residential greenness accessibility may help to promote the mental health of rural populations.Niu Di Shanshan Li Hao Xiang Yinyu Xie Zhenxing Mao Jian Hou Xiaotian Liu Wenqian Huo Boyi Yang Guanghui Dong Chongjian Wang Gongbo Chen Yuming Guo 2020The Innovation2020,1,3:1

10A Survey on Blockchain-Based Federated Learning:Categorization,Application and Analysis显示文摘Federated Learning(FL),as an emergent paradigm in privacy-preserving machine learning,has garnered significant interest from scholars and engineers across both academic and industrial spheres.Despite its innovative approach to model training across distributed networks,FL has its vulnerabilities;the centralized server-client architecture introduces risks of single-point failures.Moreover,the integrity of the global model—a cornerstone of FL—is susceptible to compromise through poisoning attacks by malicious actors.Such attacks and the potential for privacy leakage via inference starkly undermine FL’s foundational privacy and security goals.For these reasons,some participants unwilling use their private data to train a model,which is a bottleneck in the development and industrialization of federated learning.Blockchain technology,characterized by its decentralized ledger system,offers a compelling solution to these issues.It inherently prevents single-point failures and,through its incentive mechanisms,motivates participants to contribute computing power.Thus,blockchain-based FL(BCFL)emerges as a natural progression to address FL’s challenges.This study begins with concise introductions to federated learning and blockchain technologies,followed by a formal analysis of the specific problems that FL encounters.It discusses the challenges of combining the two technologies and presents an overview of the latest cryptographic solutions that prevent privacy leakage during communication and incentives in BCFL.In addition,this research examines the use of BCFL in various fields,such as the Internet of Things and the Internet of Vehicles.Finally,it assesses the effectiveness of these solutions.Yuming Tang Yitian Zhang Tao Niu Zhen Li Zijian Zhang Huaping Chen Long Zhang 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,6:0
11Bright semiconductor single-photon sources pumped by heterogeneously integrated micropillar lasers with electrical injections显示文摘The emerging hybrid integrated quantum photonics combines the advantages of different functional components into a single chip to meet the stringent requirements for quantum information processing.Despite the tremendous progress in hybrid integrations of III-V quantum emitters with silicon-based photonic circuits and superconducting single-photon detectors,on-chip optical excitations of quantum emitters via miniaturized lasers towards single-photon sources(SPSs)with low power consumptions,small device footprints,and excellent coherence properties is highly desirable yet illusive.In this work,we present realizations of bright semiconductor SPSs heterogeneously integrated with on-chip electrically-injected microlasers.Different from previous one-by-one transfer printing technique implemented in hybrid quantum dot(QD)photonic devices,multiple deterministically coupled QD-circular Bragg Grating(CBG)SPSs were integrated with electrically-injected micropillar lasers at one time via a potentially scalable transfer printing process assisted by the wide-field photoluminescence(PL)imaging technique.Optically pumped by electrically-injected microlasers,pure single photons are generated with a high-brightness of a count rate of 3.8 M/s and an extraction efficiency of 25.44%.Such a high-brightness is due to the enhancement by the cavity mode of the CBG,which is confirmed by a Purcell factor of 2.5.Our work provides a powerful tool for advancing hybrid integrated quantum photonics in general and boosts the developments for realizing highly-compact,energy-efficient and coherent SPSs in particular.Xueshi Li Shunfa Liu Yuming Wei Jiantao Ma Changkun Song Ying Yu Rongbin Su Wei Geng Haiqiao Ni Hanqing Liu Xiangbin Su Zhichuan Niu You-ling Chen Jin Liu 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,3:0
