2Effects and mechanisms of Bazhen decoction,Siwu decoction,and Sijunzi decoction on 5-fluorouracil-induced anemia in mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of Bazhen decoction(BZD),Siwu decoction(SWD) and Sijunzi decoction(SJZD) in mice with anemia induced by5-fluorouracil(5-FU) and discussed the possible pharmacological hematopoietic mechanism to provide experimental evidence for the clinical use of the three classical prescriptions in the treatment of anemia.METHODS:Anemia was induced by intravenous injection of 5-FU and 80 female Kunming mice were randomly,assigned to oral administration of SWD,SJZD,or BZD daily for 10 days.Peripheral blood cells count and bone marrow cell cycle were monitored to evaluate anti-anemia effects.Serum cytokines,interferon-γ(IFN-γ),interleukin-3(IL-3),erythropoietin(EPO),granulocyte-macrophage colonystimulating factor(GM-CSF),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) were assayed.EPO m RNA expression was assayed in kidney and liver tissue homogenates.RESULTS:BZD and SWD significantly increased the number of red blood cells,hemoglobin concentration,and hematocrit,promoted bone marrow cells to enter the cell cycle,proliferate and differentiate,significantly increased IL-3 secretion,and significantly inhibited IFN-γ secretion.BZD stimulated transcription of EPO m RNA in the kidney and liver and enhanced serum EPO expression.A therapeutic effect of SJZD was not observed.CONCLUSION:BZD and SWD treatment specifically enhanced hematopoietic function and mediated myelopoiesis by altering serum cytokines levels and accelerating entry of bone marrow cells into the cell cycle.Better curative effects were achieved via nourishing both Qi and blood(BZD) than by enriching the blood(SWD) or invigorating Qi(SWZD)alone.Tian Yunan Xiang Yuke Wan Guoran Wan Dong Zhu Huifeng Wang Tao Yang Xian 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,4:12

5A Sub-Nanostructural Transformable Nanozyme for Tumor Photocatalytic Therapy显示文摘The structural change-mediated catalytic activity regulation plays a significant role in the biological functions of natural enzymes.However,there is virtually no artificial nanozyme reported that can achieve natural enzyme-like stringent spatiotemporal structure-based catalytic activity regulation.Here,we report a subnanostructural transformable gold@ceria(STGC-PEG)nanozyme that performs tunable catalytic activities via near-infrared(NIR)light-mediated sub-nanostructural transformation.The gold core in STGC-PEG can generate energetic hot electrons upon NIR irradiation,wherein an internal sub-nanostructural transformation is initiated by the conversion between CeO;and electron-rich state of CeO;-x,and active oxygen vacancies generation via the hot-electron injection.Interestingly,the sub-nanostructural transformation of STGC-PEG enhances peroxidase-like activity and unprecedentedly activates plasmon-promoted oxidase-like activity,allowing highly efficient low-power NIR light(50 m W cm;)-activated photocatalytic therapy of tumors.Our atomic-level design and fabrication provide a platform to precisely regulate the catalytic activities of nanozymes via a light-mediated sub-nanostructural transformation,approaching natural enzyme-like activity control in complex living systems.Xi Hu Nan Wang Xia Guo Zeyu Liang Heng Sun Hongwei Liao Fan Xia Yunan Guan Jiyoung Lee Daishun Ling Fangyuan Li 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,6:4

7Targeted transfer of self-assembled CdSe nanoplatelet film onto WS_(2) flakes to construct hybrid heterostructures显示文摘Colloidal CdSe nanoplatelets are thin semiconductor materials with atomic flatness surfaces and one-dimensional strong quantum confinement,and hence they own very narrow and anisotropic emission.Here,we present a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)assisted transferring method that can pick up single layer CdSe nanoplatelet films self-assembled on a liquid surface and then precisely transfer to a target.By layer-by-layer picking up and transferring,multiple layers of CdSe films can be built up to form CdSe stacks with each single layer having dominant in-plane transition dipole distribution,which both material and energic structures are analogous to traditional multiple quantum wells grown by molecular-beam epitaxy.Additionally,with the great flexibility of colloidal nanoplatelets and this transferring method,CdSe nanoplatelets films can be combined with other materials to form hybrid heterostructures.We transferred a single-layer CdSe film onto WS_(2) flakes,and precisely studied the fast energy transfer rate with controlled CdSe nanoplatelet orientation and by using a streak camera with a ps time resolution.Zeguo Song Yunkun Wang Yunke Zhu Peng Bai An Hu Yunan Gao 2021Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,8:3
8Development of an autonomous flapping-wing aerial vehicle显示文摘The flapping-wing aerial vehicle(FWAV) has appealed to more and more researchers recently owing to its outstanding performance in various domains and the development of some related technologies. The research on autonomous flight control of the FWAV involves many challenges and is still in nascent stages. In this work, we develop an FWAV with a mass of 14.1 g and build a vision-based experimental platform. A modelbased controller is proposed on the basis of theory and simulation results prove its effectiveness. 10Mesoporous carbon nanomaterials induced pulmonary surfactant inhibition,cytotoxicity,inflammation and lung fibrosis显示文摘Environmental exposure and health risk upon engineered nanomaterials are increasingly concerned. The family of mesoporous carbon nanomaterials(MCNs) is a rising star in nanotechnology for multidisciplinary research with versatile applications in electronics,energy and gas storage, and biomedicine. Meanwhile, there is mounting concern on their environmental health risks due to the growing production and usage of MCNs. The lung is the primary site for particle invasion under environmental exposure to nanomaterials. Here, we studied the comprehensive toxicological profile of MCNs in the lung under the scenario of moderate environmental exposure. It was found that at a low concentration of 10 μg/mL MCNs induced biophysical inhibition of natural pulmonary surfactant. Moreover, MCNs at similar concentrations reduced viability of J774 A.1 macrophages and lung epithelial A549 cells.Incubating with nature pulmonary surfactant effectively reduced the cytotoxicity of MCNs.Regarding the pro-inflammatory responses, MCNs activated macrophages in vitro, and stimulated lung inflammation in mice after inhalation exposure, associated with lung fibrosis.Moreover, we found that the size of MCNs played a significant role in regulating cytotoxicity and pro-inflammatory potential of this nanomaterial. In general, larger MCNs induced more pronounced cytotoxic and pro-inflammatory effects than their smaller counterparts. 12Adaptive Iterative Learning Control for a Class of Nonlinear Time-varying Systems with Unknown Delays and Input Dead-zone显示文摘This paper presents an adaptive iterative learning control(AILC) scheme for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown time-varying delays and unknown input dead-zone.A novel nonlinear form of dead-zone nonlinearity is presented.The assumption of identical initial condition for iterative learning control(ILC) is removed by introducing boundary layer function.The uncertainties with time-varying delays are compensated for by using appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and Young’s inequality.Radial basis function neural networks are used to model the time-varying uncertainties.The hyperbolic tangent function is employed to avoid the problem of singularity.According to the property of hyperbolic tangent function,the system output is proved to converge to a small neighborhood of the desired trajectory by constructing Lyapunov-like composite energy function(CEF) in two cases,while keeping all the closedloop signals bounded.Finally,a simulation example is presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.Jianming Wei Yunan Hu Meimei Sun 2014IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2014,1,3:3
13Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae)reverses renal injury induced by myocardial infarction显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the protection of Danshen{Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae)(SM) injection in myocardial infarction(Ml) induced renal damage.METHODS:Forty male C57 mice were divided into control group,Ml group and SM group.In Ml group,the left coronary artery was occluded for 8weeks;the same procedure was used for the SM group,with the additional step of SM(0.2 mL) administered intraperitoneally for 56 days.Before surgery and 8 weeks later,transthoracic echocardiography was performed and urine protein and albumin was measured.At the end of the time,all mice were killed and kidneys removed for reactive oxygen species(ROS) and fibrosis analysis,plasma was collected for blood urea nitrogen and serum creatinine determination.RESULTS:Ml slightly decreased renal function and increased production of ROS,accompanied with renal fibrosis.Administration of SM reduced production of ROS and increased renal function,it also reduced renal fibrosis.CONCLUSION:Ml plays a causal role in renal injury and SM exerts renal-protective effects,probably by its antioxidant activities.Lu Xiaomei Jin Yunan Ma Ling Du Lili 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,3:2

15Synthesis of different-sized gold nanostars for Raman bioimaging and photothermal therapy in cancer nanotheranostics显示文摘Gold nanoparticles(AuNPs) have been attractive for nanomedicine because of their pronounced optical properties.Here,we customerized the methods to synthesize two types of gold nanostars,Au nanostars-1 and Au nanostars-2,which have different spire lengths and optical properties,and also spherical AuNPs.Compared to nanospheres,gold nanostars were less toxic to a variety of cells,including macrophages.Au nanostars-1 and Au nanostars-2 also manifested a similar pattern of tissue distribution upon in vivo administration in mice to that of nanospheres,and but reveled less liver retention than nanospheres.Due to their strong absorption in the near-infrared(NIR),Au nanostars-2 induced a strong hyperthermia effect in vitro upon excitation at 808 nm,and elicited a robust photothermal therapy(PTT) efficacy in ablating tumors in a mouse model of orthotopic breast cancer using 4T1 breast cancer cells.Meanwhile,Au nanostars-1 showed a great capability to enhance the Raman signal through surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS) in 4T1 cells.Our combined results opened a new avenue to develop Au nanostars for cancer imaging and therapy.Jie Gao Maria Sanchez-Purra Hao Huang ShunhaoWang Yunan Chen Xuefeng Yu Qian Luo Kimberly Hamad-Schifferli Sijin Liu 2017Science China Chemistry2017,60,9:2

20Transition metal doped mesoporous titania with a crystalline framework as catalysts for oxidation of p-bromotoluene to pbromobenzaldehyde显示文摘Transition metal M(M=Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,and Zn)doped mesoporous titania with a crystalline framework was employed as catalysts for the oxidation of p-bromotoluene(PBT)to p-bromobenzaldehyde(BBD)in acetic acid using aqueous hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.It was found that mesoporous TiO_(2) doped with those metals(Fe,Co and Ni)whose atomic radii are relatively smaller exhibited higher conversion rate of PBT.Among these catalysts,the Co/meso-TiO_(2) exhibited high substrate conversion and good product(p-bromobenzaldehyde)selectivity plus it can be reused once with almost the same activity.The effect of different Ti/Co(molar)ratio on the activities of Co/meso-TiO_(2) was also investigated.Zehui YANG Lihui YIN Encai OU Yunan WANG Li PENG Jiaqiang WANG 2008Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2008,2,3:1
